We had a very unfortunate experience here. We came back from a business dinner after midnight. We discovered that we could not get into our room. Apparently the locking mechanism on the door had gone bad. The front desk made sure to have me go back and forth from the room with new keys three times before sending up security to attempt to open the room. Security was unable to open the room. I was told that this is the first time this is ever happened in a hotel with 25 floors and 10 rooms minimum each floor. I found this to be unlikely. I was told that the maintenance man would arrive my room shortly. Over an hour later the head of maintenance appeared. I would like to thank Carlos, the head of maintenance, for helping me get into my room. Without his help I don't know where I would have been that night. My wife was with me and she needed diabetic supplies and we needed to get our room. We were transferred to another room in the same floor and discovered that room didn't have hot water yet. I was very happy to find out that the hotel did not charge me for my room because of this inconvenience. We were only there for one night and that one night was not a positive one. I have to be honest and say that the only one who seemed to care about our predicament was Carlos the maintenance head, the front desk didn't seem to sympathize with our situation which was frustrating. I would say that this is not a $250 a room hotel. If you are looking at paying $250 in room or even $200 room I would consider looking elsewhere. Perhaps when they update the rooms with, at the very minimum, updated locks I would consider it. But even after that like I said, definitely not $250 a room not even $200.

Look, I always give credit where credit is due. This was too much. I checked in at 3am and found out parking was $36 a day... fine. They never cleaned my room, they didn't give me the request cards for cleaning until I went back to ask. The. One of the front desk gals said she notated my account for a cleaning... the housekeeper was at the room next to us so I assumed we were next... NO. They didn't clean our room even though I left a card notating I wanted it cleaned. When I asked the front desk, all I got was "I don't know why." No one seemed to care... I understand we're in a pandemic. I just wanted things tidied up. For the money paid, you're better off at a Motel 6; they clean their rooms. Will never stay again. It's just too stressful to deal with, the staff makes you feel like you're an inconvenience. Before I left, I had one of the valet guys say he'll get me out of the garage for $20... getting hustled to the last minute.

I’ll start with the location was amazing! But I can relate to many of the negative reviews on this property. The building is very old, and can use a real good deep cleaning and or remodel/refresh. When I checked in, my first room as disgusting and it smelled horrible… the front desk agent Kielah was amazing with finding me another room. Too my surprise this room wasn’t much better and the shower wouldn’t get hot but I didn’t want to cause a fuss. The hotel automated guest service sent me a text asking about my stay and I told them candidly it was mediocre at best. The Guest Service Manager reached out to me and offered solutions to make me more comfortable. So after my 3rd room change I finally felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Besides all the cosmetic and building issues the customer service was TOP NOTCH truly the only reason I didn’t just pack up and leave. And side note, the linens in each room were brand new that was the main positive. The Valet guys are really good but Valet is expensive. I stayed two nights it was $80 plus the tips but at about $150 just for parking. (I know tipping is optional) so overall I’d stay again, I’d find street parking and ask to see my room prior to taking all luggage up.

On checking in to our first room (906) we notice the “window” was opened completely to where you were able to go out on the “balcony”. There was no lock present. On calling front desk, we were informed there was no balcony rooms being offered and that shouldn’t be able to be accessed. We were told someone would come up and bolt the window shut. We requested a new room due to feeling unsafe in that room. Valet services for $48 per night was a horrible experience. Staff repeatedly observed standing around, while our car has yet to be brought around. After waiting for 20minutes, I asked about our vehicle and no one ever even went to retrieve our car. We also had to walk and get our own car and park our own car the 2nd day. Totally unacceptable. The bathtub had a dirt ring around the tub where the bottom of the shower curtain meets the tub. The air conditioner blew cold but the air just didn’t feel clear, felt wet. The only good thing about this hotel is the location to popular things in the Atlanta Metro area and they did provide a mini fridge (upon my request) for lactation purposes.

Outside of service and location it was a horrible stay. Not sure if it was just the floor we stayed on but as soon as you step off the elevator you can smell the mildew sour carpets (need to be replaced ASAP). Air in the room did not work well enough to cool the room. We had full size beds in the room and they were worn and uncomfortable. The water did not/ wouldn’t get hot. We had to run the shower for at least 30 mins with the bathroom door closed to get the water to a warm temperature. There was signs of mold in the shower ceiling. The whole bathroom would hold the moisture due to having to run the shower for hot water. Towels were hard. Room had a slight smell from the carpet also. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Also does not have great lighting despite the lamps in the room. The balcony door was bolted but we realized it was for safety reasons but the glass was filthy. There is parking available but they tell you that you only allowed to exit once during your stay which pushes you to use valet parking which is pricey per night but the attendants were nice each day. The lobby of this hotel will have you thinking that you’re going to be staying in a really nice hotel until you get to your room. I do not recommend this hotel for no more than a day but even then try the Stay Bridge hotel that’s in the same area.

Just go in knowing the place is a bit worn. That and updated decor doesn't really matter to me. Also, be comfortable with the seedy parking garage and connection to the hotel if you choose NOT to valet. Also, I booked as three guests. I called to let them know I was coming very late and reiterated the importance of the separate living room space for the third guest. That space still had no bedding and the bathroom only had towels for two. I had to request three times and retrieve myself. One morning I wanted room service and they weren't doing that at this time. I booked because of the fitness room and pool. The fitness room is under renov. and the one we "could" use across the street was closed. The picture of the pool has tables with umbrellas for shade. There were none and it's just under 1,000 degrees outside. Our hallway smelled like cat pee. All the lights in the room didn't work. With that said, the staff was VERY nice and did the best with what IHG has given them.

Never again, I don’t know where to start. When I first arrived, my key did not work, which I had to go back down and retrieve two new ones. Second, Once I got settled in another person came through my door with a key, so they booked two people to the same room which made me feel uneasy. Multiple times I tried using the phone in the room and get no answer. If I got anything I had to and find housekeeping or go to front desk. I ask for towels and change of sheets never got them and when I went down to front desk their response was they only have one person for housekeeping. Therefore, I asked, could I just get the items here? Basically, I was given anything, a floor mat and a one regular sheet. The young lady response was this is all we have. The room was okay, except I really couldn’t rest. I can hear everything from outside, the cars racing, police, and horns. Meaning, installation was not good at all. The only thing half decent about the hotel was the restaurant. Staff was nice as well. Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience.

We checked in today. There is no WiFi in our room. The telephone in our room is not working. We ended up going downstairs waiting in the long line to talk to the front desk. After a long wait, the solution we were given was to pack our stuff and come down here, I will move you. And this happened at 11pm. You must be kidding me! Is this IHG service?

Wish I took pictures of the room. Our suite smelled like cigarette smoke and was able to switch rooms but not a suite. Regular room with initially no hot water but that was quickly fixed. Wallpaper was coming off, suspect looking back spots in the bathroom ceiling. Entire hotel ice venting machine wasn't working and only been get ice from the bar with a long wait. Staff was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Pros: staffing was over all kind and informative. Decently styled rooms. Waitress in breakfast room was quick to take order. Cons: Male valet driver was openly smoking pot before taking our vehicle to park… not appropriate for driving a new luxury vehicle or anyones for that matter! Parking is $40 regardless of how you do so. BUT housekeeping ( or someone else possibly) opened our rooms door without knocking or asking while we were getting dressed!! Called front desk just to be told it happens a lot with a certain housekeeper. That’s terrifying and really made my spouse and I extremely uncomfortable! Also, homeless constantly walking in front/around building really took away from the “midtown” experience for us.

I would normally give credit where it's due but this is a 1 star for me . 1. Room had mold in bathroom all over ceiling my son who's medically needy is allergic . The room has no little fridge so the medicine my son takes I had to keep filling buckets with ice so that 100s of dollars for medicine wouldn't go bad . I never received anyone to clean our room. I had called down for towels 45 min no one came I went down myself to get them . Front desk said call house keeping I told them I did and been waiting 45 minutes with nothing. The hallways smelled awful they did have dehumidifier to try to block the smell it was awful . The hotel was informed of my issues and they just said they was sorry close to 300 a night and you would expect more. The view on the hotel website is old it's not the view you get you get a parking garage view which makes the price a little much for that. The parking guys was friendly thumbs up to them .

Front desk: Most of them were very helpful. Only one was not personable. Spacious lobby with a place to get coffee and a restaurant that closes just a little too early if you're arriving late. My room: A balcony so I can go out and get some fresh.... .... wait! It's locked up? But why? The room was clean but I didn't like the one setting in the shower. The AC was not working as I set it to 66° and it never fell below 72° I kind of expected a little more from the same brand of hotel that work for - IHG.

Our room smelled like sour carpet and the room stayed humid. The bathroom has no fan, the bathroom ceiling had a lot of gross stains. A part of the bathroom lid’s hinge was missing and looked gross. The bathroom doorknob was really loose, but surprisingly worked. The phone looked ancient and was missing buttons. The pool was murky and dirty. The breakfast was expensive and disappointing. The location was convenient, but I would not stay here again.

A prime location, lovely lounge, small but a great pool, and professional attentive staff. The room was super clean compared to what I have seen from other hotels. The rooms are not fully sound proof, however the noise levels were low. (that's a big plus). Another big plus, no rooms are closer to the elevators ( door to door like many other hotels) Thank you 👍👍👍👍 I advise anyone visiting Atlanta to consider this place for his stay. What I didn't like ( hopefully it will considered): Recently, many hotels are removing the water bottles from rooms for sustainably reasons. So, they add ice machines on each floor. What I hope to see in the future, some water fountains, or water dispensing stations. Which would help in achieving real sustainability. The light inside the room is item operated meaning you have to turn each fixture on/off separately. Also, the room lights are a bit dim with everything on.

Nice place in midtown to stay…. I would have given a 5 but ALL the services where bad, guest service, room service, bell guys, Valet parking, I didn’t given get my money back for the deposit cause I paid cash and the girl from night shift didn’t leave a note 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Thought that’s why we have computers…. Then in top of it all I couldn’t even speak with a manager. I loved the rooms and the location, but not sure if I’ll go back

ultimately you get what you pay for at this hotel. i tried not to psyche myself out over the bad reviews. we were traveling without preparing in advance and hadn't realized the time we were coming to town was in the midst of a big event happening so most hotels in our budget were fully booked and this was the only one that had availability and wasn't too expensive. the room wasn't dirty, i didn't have any negative experiences with the staff, and for all intents and purposes of having somewhere to sleep and shower and whatnot, this hotel served its purpose. the staff was actually pretty polite and informative with me regarding exactly what the additional fees are for things like breakfast and valet. one of the only real downsides with the room (at least the one i stayed in) was that there wasn't really adequate ventilation so after a hot shower the room stayed kinda humid and muggy for a while. also the towels were rough af, like you won't even need to pull out your exfoliator.

I booked a King standard room and after waiting several hours for them to let me check in, I arrived to the room to discover 2 queens. They said they were booked and couldn’t move me to the appropriate room. Once in the room I noticed it is in desperate need of maintenance as there were faded spots in the ceiling and when the shower is on, the bathroom floods. I had to use a small hand towel to dry off as both full size towels had visible stains. Definitely won’t be back!

We arrived Friday at 9:30pm to do our check in. Asked the front desk personnel if there was any restaurant available for food. She said the one in front of the front desk is open till 10pm for food and 11pm for the bar. We finished at 9:45pm and went directly to the restaurant to get food. The bartender told us that the kitchen was already closed. I said the front desk stated that this is opened until 10pm. He said no is already closed. Who closes a restaurant on a Friday night before 10:00pm when they know there are not a lot of options in walking distance? Got to the room to take a shower and there was no hot water. At this point I am already super disappointed. Stayed for one night. Never again. You need to do a better service for your customers who are traveling. I definitely do not recommend staying here. Reading the reviews of this location, people have stated the same issues and it continues. You need to fix the water situation. We pay to stay in a hotel to take a hot shower if we want to.

If you're interested in a nice room, keep looking! At 1st glance the lobby was nice, customer service was very friendly. Valet services kinda nonchalant The real problem is the room. (I'm not a social person so I would spent most of my time in the room) There was a wet moldy smell as soon as we stepped off the elevators. We had to change rooms(903 to 906) because of the balcony doors would not close properly. We entered the next room and was unimpressed with how date it was there were no microwave or refrigerator. As soon as I tried to get comfortable I noticed that small bugs had bitten my neck. I tried to tell myself that maybe something few in the room when we entered until the bitting continued. Unable to find another place and get a refund, we had little to no choice but to stay, the shower had mold on the ceiling and walls. I'm pretty sure there was a mice present also. The sheets were not clean. The rooms were way past poor, needless to say we will not be returning. This place needs some serious renovation in the rooms .

I was admittedly hesitant about staying here after reading other reviews. I booked with this hotel through a third party 'lottery' system, so the Crowne Plaza was automatically selected for us. A person in my party has a health condition that I called the hotel about this months in advance. Then, the day of check-in, I called to let them know that we would be arriving later. All my interactions over the phone with the staff were absolutely wonderful and professional. Check-in was quick and both the desk clerks and valet staff went out of their way to show hospitality. As for the room itself, everything was spotless. The shower curtains were clean, there was hot water, and our bed sheets had no markings on them. They really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a safe stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. The only downside is the expensive valet. parking, but we were able to find cheap parking across the street at the Emory University hospital.

The stay at the hotel was fine. Nice room. No access to balcony but that's not that bad of a problem. Parking was an absolute joke. The biggest problem I had was the customer service. I left my gaming system in my hotel room and when trying to get a hold of the hotel to have it sent to me I was constantly forwarded to another person or dead end voicemail. For almost a month, I was calling this hotel only to be passed around from employee to employee wanting to get this problem out of their hands. It was over 3 weeks later when I finally had someone tell me to go to their website and file a report. After doing so and a week later I got no response. Back to calling the hotels and even corporate. Finally, I got a hold of a wonderful woman named Tony at the front desk. She helped me the whole way through and never patched me to someone else to get rid of the responsibility of helping a concerned client. Such a big help on her part. Everyone else was absolutely worthless. CHECK YOUR BELONGINGS BEFORE LEAVING. And thank you again, Tony!!

The suite I had on the 17th floor was really nice. A separate big living room, another big bedroom, and also a separate bathroom and washroom. One of the best suites I have had through many years of traveling. Checking in at 8 pm was a bit slow as many people wanted to do so but only two people at the front desk.

  • 4/5 Steven M. 6 months ago on Google
My 2 starts for service are because we asked the front desk for a mini fridge because I have medicine that is supposed to be refrigerated. We were assured that one would be in the room when we got back from the concert. It was not, but they did leave 2 razors on the sink?? Not sure where the confusion was but I had to ice down my meds. It was definitely an inconvenience. Other than that, the hotel was nice 👍

Breakfast options close before anything else in the hotel opens. People are still enjoying the buffet but they wouldn't seat anyone else. It's after 11am and there are zero real food options. Some small snack stuff from an attached store. Not what our group expected when it said amenities. Now we know.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for two nights. Upon checking in they told me I had to pay a $75 per night fee. NO WHERE on the website can you find this information. They definitely need to make the policy clear on their website. Paying the hotel fees and the deposit makes it very pricey for travelers. When I asked the lady at the desk about the fee she acted like I was stupid for even asking. She did tell me that the $150 I was charged for could take weeks to come back to my account. GREAT! it's not like people have bills to pay or anything! They also had a problem with checking me in because I booked through a third party. They told me to go downstairs to the lower lobby to check in and they couldn't do it so I had to go back upstairs again. When I finally got checked in I was disappointed to see that there was no fridge or microwave in the room. Probably on purpose so they can influence you to pay for the expensive food and cold drinks on the property. There was only two ice machines on two floors that were inaccessible to me. The stair doors are all locked. The pool is closed until 2024. My room had a balcony but they closed it off so you cannot use it. Hotel staff did NOT change my towels despite being gone 4-5 hours. Need something to eat? good luck. Nothing within walking distance if you didn't travel by car. They need to do better.

An awful ran down cheap has been hotel. I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past. It's nothing like it was. The room was okay my bed was not a king as I requested, the balcony doors are permanently closed, the pillows were nasty. I was there 3 nights. No one cleaned my room. I did grab clean towels from the maids cart. There were two very nice front desk attendees, a young man and a well-dressed, polished lady. One of the front desk women called me a racist because she lied to me, and I called her out on it/ I am not a racist. The parking attendant was on her phone everytime I noticed her. I waisted 60,000. IHG points to stay in this dump. Never again!

The room was not good. Had to be moved to a different room because floor had not been vacuumed & there was hair near the headboard. Second room was not that much better. Floor still needed vacuum. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. There was a strand of hair in the shower. I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean. The room smelled stale & I had to spray with disinfectant spray & lite a candle. The only good thing was the bar/restaurant. Had to dispute a charge. Still no credit received.

My friend & I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Midtown. Definitely not we expected. The service we received prior to our arrival was not good nor was customer service. The hotel was nice with the exception that we didn’t have iron, microwave or refrigerator. We had to ask for them 2 times. The room was very clean though. The location was definitely not what we expected & the location to be able self park was not safe (at least to us) too many homeless people & construction so could tell where the to get into the garage. My biggest complaint was customer service prior to arrival

I wish I could rate this stay at a -100 but it want let me the balcony is sealed off you don't have access to it. To accommodate me and my boyfriend they gave us breakfast two days free. The food was horrible the waitress was sweet though don't stay here a waste of money. The bathroom lights flickered and the screws were falling out. All BAD and the water made me nervous very hazy water I didn't feel comfortable using it!

Great location to the GWCC and Mercedes Benz Stadium and to the parking decks. The staff was great! The building is quite outdated and not maintained well as far as the floor we stayed on. In our room the bathroom lights and fire sprinkler were quite rusted. The bed itself was flat and hard, and no matter how many times the maintenance man came and tried to fix the cold faucet on the sink, it never stayed cold, and the water was quite hot. They tried to fix it though!

  • 4/5 Salina B. 4 months ago on Google
You can tell the hotel itself is older when you get to the room. Overall decent stay. Had an issue with our hot water (wasn't hot) and maintenance showed up immediately and had it fixed quickly so service was great. Wish they had free parking but we all know that's basically impossible in Atl anyway. Parked in parking garage but elevator (parking elevator) was out and it only connects to Hotel on the 7th floor so just be sure to park on 6 or 7 of the parking garage unless you want a good workout.

  • 2/5 Kai T. 2 years ago on Google
The only reason they even got 2 stars is because the bed was comfortable and they provided me with a small refrigerator. The room has no way to ventilate other then the air conditioner. Windows and glass doors don't open. The beds where made but the room was not clean. Even the coffee maker still had an old pod in it. No new pod replacement or coffee cups. The front door lock continued to s stick. The bathroom door couldn't unlock. Elevator 2 would ignore the floor request and go down to the lower level. After Second time Elevator 2 would take one to the originally requested floor.

Room was okay for the price, nothing spectacular but location was worth it. We stayed for the night because we're considering on having our wedding in the Sky Room which is beautiful. Best thing I could say about our stay was customer service from the bartender Mario to the front desk clerk and to the valet attendant Kyle. That southern hospitality is always something special especially seeing it from young people at this day in age.

Overall a really good stay! We booked this hotel for Dragoncon 2022 and I'll admit I didn't read the reviews until 3 days before our stay. Once I did I was very nervous because of all the bad reviews but we had a very good experience. Check in was easy and Julia was so nice. They actually didn't have the original room we booked but Julia upgraded us which was so sweet! We didn't notice any issues with the room or hallways smelling funky like other reviews have mentioned nor did we see any evidence of mold. The hotel is pretty dated though and could definitely use some upgrading and repairs. We did notice hard water stains in the corners of the tub and peeling paint etc. We had dinner at the hotel twice and the bartender Lawrence was wonderful and hilarious. Checkout was also very quick.

Stayed over Labor Day weekend, and had a mostly positive experience. The room was clean and housekeeping came by several times to pick up trash and dirty towels, and give us fresh ones. The staff was very nice and helpful. One problem I did have was that they thought I was checking out two days early for some reason, and they told me that their system showed that I had made two reservations back to back (when I did no such thing) and so I had to get new keys. Also, there was a large crack in the ceiling that started leaking water the last night of my stay.

It is a very nice hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. I had a king size bedroom which was very spacious, clean and cute. 4 stars for the room though because there was no mini fridge. I had food I couldn't keep fresh. I also missed the breakfast due to time, the cafeteria was close already but you could still smell what a nice breakfast you'd have haha

So, I'll start by saying our room was good for the price I paid. I wasn't too impressed with it's size or the prohibited use of the balcony. Very clean establishment and friendly, helpful staff. Gave us an extra few hours for check out. Location is great if you're going out around Midtown. Easy parking and valet service available.

The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and kind. I have it two stars because of our experience and lack of quality for their prices. We paid over $900 for a room with wet floors, mold in the shower, peeling paint, there was spit on the floor in the elevator. We stayed at a different hotel 🏨 and did receive full payment back. The location is great in the middle of downtown ATL. The experience we had was not worth what we paid. The hotel had great views, and conveniently located. If we would’ve had a better experience during the short stay we had, I would’ve given more stars.

My friend and stayed here for 2 nights Feb 24-26 2023. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable with my needs and requests. Front Desk receptionist helped us significantly. She was able to get us checked in early as I requested. Staff was just friendly. Valet was on point. The food was great @ the bar, and so were the drinks. The hotel location is perfect. My room was really nice, and the bed slept well. We had a balcony which was an awesome upgrade. However, There was not a cover. So once it rained, and it did, we were not able to stay on the balcony. It would have been nice to have some furniture on the balcony also. Also, there should be an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Each time I showered, My hair got wet from the excess steam. I wasn't a fan of that. Overall, the hotel and staff were awesome. A few perks to be upgraded, and all will be perfect. I will stay again if the small issues can be

I choose this hotel because of the location and the pool. When I got there I was informed that guest couldn’t use the stairs. Only in an emergency. My wife doesn’t do elevators. She has panic attacks and is extremely claustrophobic. We were then informed after we finally made it to the room after her panic attack that the pool wasn’t open. I booked it for the pool as well. The girl at the front desk was amazing she was super nice and tried to help with a technique to help my wife but it didn’t work. We were extremely disappointed that we checked out and canceled our 2 night reservation for another hotel with stairs that she could use and a pool.

The staff was the reason I give this place 5 stars. Kaheem at the front desk was an absolute angel. The staff who made breakfast was very accommodating as well. There was a tall, built, dark haired gentleman and a dark haired woman with an accent who both were very nice, I wish I could remember their names. I also want to thank the early morning security officer who helped us get to the lobby. We had trouble finding the way and she helped us find the correct elevator. Tim was also great helping with luggage!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only thing I didn’t like is, I had a room with balcony that was facing the city. Unfortunately the balcony door was locked and not accessible to open. My favorite part of my stay was the service. Everyone was so polite especially a young man I met who was working with Valet. I believe his name is Kyle. He was very respectable and very well mannered. Everyone was great and greeted us with a smile.

The hotel's location is convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The surroundings are beautiful, adding to the overall ambiance of the place. The staff at Crowne Plaza are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests. Overall, Crowne Plaza is a highly recommended hotel for its cleanliness, great location, bright and spacious rooms, lovely surroundings, and outstanding staff.

The staff is nice. Other than that...nothing nice to say. The elevator and hallways smell like cigarette smoke. The carpets in the room are old and soiled. The TV went out our second day here...we called multiple times to the front desk and every time we called they seemed shocked about the issue and said they would get it squared away. It never happened. This is a nice area of midtown, but it's not as nice as other hotels (we had lots of friends and family staying in the area for a wedding). This place feels and smells old and is in definite need of renovations.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Crowne Plaza Midtown, and I must say, it was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. Prior to my stay, I had come across various negative reviews about this establishment, but I had brushed them off, assuming they were exaggerations. Little did I know, these reviews were an understatement. Let’s start with the state of the hotel. The condition was abysmal - filthy carpets adorned both the hallways and my room, while peeling paint and mold greeted me by the bathtub. As if the physical state of the hotel wasn’t bad enough, the amenities were severely lacking. No drink water provided, and not even a mini fridge in the room. The room itself was more spartan than comfortable. The service was another major letdown. The front desk staff displayed an astonishing level of rudeness, complete with poker faces that only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food was laughable, with a disastrous breakfast that managed to ruin my appetite for the entire day. Even the Starbucks coffee they offered was watery and unrecognizable compared to the Starbucks standard I’m familiar with from around the world. Being an IHG diamond member proved to be a futile advantage here. It’s as if your status is neither appreciated nor recognized. Upon checking in, I dared to request a suite upgrade, mentioning that the IHG app indicated there were available suites. The front desk staff flat-out lied, claiming that the suites were fully booked. My attempt to claim the free breakfast that came with my diamond status was another uphill battle. To top it off, I requested a late check-out for my departure day, only to be denied. The attitude of the management team throughout my stay can be summarized as ‘who are you? Who cares?’ It’s clear that their priority was not ensuring a pleasant guest experience. In conclusion, my experience at Crowne Plaza Midtown was nothing short of horrific. The hotel’s dismal condition, lackluster amenities, poor service, and unappreciative attitude toward IHG diamond members have left me deeply disappointed. I have no intention of ever returning to this establishment, and I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for others seeking accommodation in the area. This hotel is a definite pass.

Even though I was comped for the room and valet, don’t use this hotel. Their valets are sketchy. They had a mass vehicle break in on 12 vehicles that used valet service. Each vehicle was targeted specifically and they were parked in different areas. For example one of the vehicles was parked on a higher floor of the garage and my parents truck was parked right outside the hotel entrance….. in plain sight of the valet service, conveniently none of the workers heard my parents alarm, yet some of the other hotel guests said they did. There is no doubt in my mind the valet service was involved. They are dirty. I would absolutely not stay in this hotel again. They didn’t even comp other people.

After a LONG drive to town, all I wanted was a nice, clean room to unwind in. It took at least two hours to get settled in after switching rooms multiple times then having to wait for clean towels. My kids and I were VERY tired, and even the little ones were complaining about this place. We've never had such a terrible experience. I suppose I paid for location because it wasn't worth the price with all of the hassle we had to deal with. The hotel itself is beautiful, but when we attempted to get a room, the first one was occupied by other people and the second one was wet and stinky. The third room didn't have enough towels for me and the kids to shower so we had to wait for towels. Absolutely unacceptable! I would assume with reservations, they should have my room and accomodations ready for me. We arrived around 9 PM and needless to say we were tired but I still had to walk back and forth through the hotel multiple times and it was just very frustrating...smh. I'm no expert but it appears to me that this hotel has an issue with water damage or humidity or SOMETHING. Even the room we ended up and felt super humid and the mirrors and windows were sweating before anyone ever got in the shower. But this one didn't have a musty smell or other people in it so I had to just take it and go to bed. I don't plan to come back anytime soon.

Amazing Staff!! The room needed some work. Upon checking in the entrance light didn't work. The sink needs attention. When you run the hot water, the cold side started to shoot out water. The shower dripped, so I put a towel in the tub to stop the noise. By the 3rd of my 5 nights, the casing to the AC unit started to loudly rattle. I push my luggage and the desk chair up against it to silence it so I could sleep. The adjoining door allows for everything next door to be heard (TV, coughing, toilet flushing, etc.) The hotel's rooms need more attention than they've been given. But I'd stay here again, solely because of the staff. From the front desk & security, to the bar and little cafe.. the staff members truly were the best part of my stay.

This was the dirtiest nastiest worst experience I've ever had. This hotel was a disappointment and completely made my thoughts of Atlanta NEGATIVE. The staff was unprofessional and childlike. They put us on the 3rd floor. The entire floor was being renovated. Every single room on the floor had the door open and was in shambles. They had to use a security key to access the floor because it was unsafe and I don't even understand how we were put on this floor. We left as soon as we seen the room. We were told there was a balcony, that also was completely destroyed and inaccessible. The staff acted like they had no clue about the floor they put us on. It looked like a haunted house. I was completely appalling and disgusting. Worst experience ever. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever. BTW, be careful, they made us feel like they were going to rob us and steal what we had. The $50 valet even put our car on the street instead of inside the huge parking garage. They were literally trying to set us up. NEVER EVER GO HERE. My only Pic was of the bed that looks like it is made of rocks. Disgusting!!!
