It's a little Oasis of calm, just minutes from the chaos of Emory and Eggleston's Hospitals. It had a nice pavilion with a barbecue grill, this tennis courts, a basketball court, some walking trails. Really just a nice overall albeit medium sized maybe small Park.

A great little park that has a much improved trail system with new markers and blazes as of 2021 and a nice new trail map. In the main part, if you go out and back on any two of the trails, it will about .8 miles. If you do all 4 of those trail plus the red/blue on the lower part, it will be about 2 miles.

This park has beautiful, huge, old trees, mostly beech and oak, growing thickly enough to surround you with green in the summer. The paths are heavily shaded and mostly not too steep for the average person. Accessibility: the picnic benches and playground are wheelchair accessible but the paths are definitely not.

Park is improving greatly!! I'm not colored blind so maybe someone can tell me what these would look like to one who is? Or even if it be confusing to them. New trails are outstanding! And the bridge work! Wow!

Tennis courts were abruptly closed two months ago, with no notice or information given to the public. If the plan was to renovate the courts, the city should have left the courts open for public use until the renovation began. But the contractors took down the nets and rolled up the fencing two months ago, and since then there has been zero progress or work on the courts. Such a shame because this is a beautiful park and these were some of the only free public courts available in the area.

Gorgeous park with great views. Great for hiking and especially nice because there is a free tennis court next to it! Will be back soon

Beautiful community maintained park with great trails that are roughly a mile for the longest loop. The playground is nice and accessible and the pavilion is well maintained. Don't go right after a rainy week of weather because the big fields are part of the floodplain and get a bit soggy. The pavilion is paved and remains nicely dry, though. The playground is outside of the flood area, so it is high and dry. Great place to take your dog for a lunch walk.

A real hidden gem in the heart of Atlanta. If it weren't for the occasional aircraft, siren or child yelling you'd think you were in the wilderness! A community maintained trail system wrapping around several streams and ravines. If you live in the Calibre Woods community then this and the walkable Toco Hills shopping plaza almost make the 'Atlanta inflated rent' worthwhile!

Lovely little park with a beautiful new playground! It also has a picnic shelter, tennis court, and several short hiking trails. A nice oasis near Emory and Toco Hills.

We rented the pavilion for my son’s graduation party, and although the park was secluded enough for a private event, it is clearly one of the neglected parks in DeKalb county as there was no restroom nearby, the picnic tables provided (2) were disfigured due to previous usage that looked like someone started a fire or burned something on them. For reference Blacklick park among many others have pavilions in DeKalb that have several tables. There is no power source like other parks with pavilions so keep that in mind if you intend on amplifying music (which is an additional fee). We had to clean the pavilion that we paid for before using it, and when I mean clean we had to go home and get our shovels and brooms to remove mounds of dirt all over the pavilion and surrounding area. Even after cleaning it with a team of people it looked like a construction site but it was better than when we 1st arrived. I’d like to think that if you are paying to use county property, someone would be responsible for checking the area beforehand and making sure it was at least in decent condition to be used.
