Overall I loved the atmosphere, it reminded me of my family and the gatherings we would have when I was younger. The food was good however, it was lacking a little in flavor. The cornbread, mashed potatoes and fish were well flavored but the veggies and the fry nugget dish needed a little more there in my opinion. I ordered mine with garlic seasoning and I could taste absolutely none of that. The fried pickles were superb!!! Always love them, they were well sliced and breaded and the sauce was delicious.

We have been told about Brooks for a couple of months and we finally found a time to go in and try it. Pulling into the parking lot, it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I have to say when I walked in, it turned into the most pleasant surprise. From amazing prices to awesome food. And servers who absolutely loved their jobs and cared about you as the customer. Come hungry because you will leave extremely full...even if you share a meal and an appetizer.

Food use to be great here and so was service but it's not anymore. One male bartender who was trying to wait tables but couldn't do it. One very pregnant server had every table in n the place plus pouring her own sodas. Sissy nuggets were the bottom of the bag I think.

A restaurant centered on the local crowd. The food is basic comfort food prepared well. This is a reliable, good experience. We appreciate the hard work the servers and bartenders put into making sure everyone is well taken care of. Prices are reasonable and the energy is good. Our go to restaurant.

The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection! I am in LOVE with the Sissy Nuggets! The real draw is the staff , they are so welcoming, friendly, and fun. They just make you feel like family so the atmosphere is wonderful. Bring the kids of just go for a date night. You wont be disappointed. Monday they have a Sissy Nugget basket for $5.00!

We had a fun time. The waitress was on top of things and the order was delivered to us in a timely manner. The food was delivered hot and was good. The drinks, vodka and soda were mixed well, not too strong (for my wife) and not too weak (for me 😊). We'll definitely be going back!

Excellent food and service! Would highly recommend it. Had the Salisbury steak, chopped steak, pot roast, and country fried steak. It was all excellent. Great cornbread. Our family of five all enjoyed what we had! Will be back.

Mediocre at best. Was ready 20 minutes past promise time. Yet was cold when I got home. I ordered a cheeseburger got 2 pieces of bread and a burger. No cheese no toppings.

Went on Saturday night and there was karaoke. Enjoyed it very much. The food was great. We will definitely go again.

Best American-style food I've had. Amazing Nugget Mountain Melt and country fried steak sandwich. Didn't even need salt because the fries (waffle) already had enough salt from the seasoning and were coated well! Will eat here again and recommend.

Great vibe, yummy food.

First visit based on a recommendation, and it was a very good experience. I started with a half order of fried pickle chips. This half order was huge! They had a nice crisp breading and were very flavorful! Served with spicy ranch dressing. Ordered their pork tenderloin sandwich and it didn't disappoint. Nice sized with a light batter, it was a good thickness and tender. Delicious sandwich. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

When you think Brookes , don’t just think sissy nuggets. Even though they are truly delicious.. think “that restaurant can do it all.” They Just catered an event for us. It turned out absolutely perfect. It was on time, it was hot, delicious, and there was plenty of food for the party. They do it all, we will definitely be using them again.

Lively no fuss neighborhood spot well know for its solid well priced good eats like prime rib and don't skip dessert with the fried oreos! Super friendly staff, great cocktails, and occasional entertainment. It's a thumbs up!

If only the service was as good as the food. We went there for dinner last night and waited around forever. The place wasn’t that busy and we didn’t get much attention. The table next to us came in after us with the same party size of 2, yet they got their food and drinks way faster than us. Even when we were done and ready for boxes as well as the check, it took over 20 mins for our server to come over and realize we were ready for a box. She spent so much time talking to her table of 2 who she clearly knew that she completely ignored us and forgot we were even there. Very disappointed.

First time here after driving past for years and it was FANTASTIC. Burgers are the best in the COUNTY. Corn nuggets & mac&chz balls were great. 1/2 of my burger I had for breakfast and it was delicious even cold

When my son and I entered the place we got seated right away which I like. A waitress came and got our order. I ordered a seafood platter of fried shrimp, Fish and clams. It was good, but a little over fried. We also had 4 big fried Maccaroni and cheese which are very good hot. We also enjoyed watching a hockey tournament while we ate.

First off the hostess takes our name then seats 2 groups that came in after us. A woman with 3 kids come in and they try to seat her in front of us before she says that we were there first. We get seated and we had a few different waitresses including the hostess?? The food was ok, 2 of us had the special but it was greasy. 1 had the sissy wings and they poured the sauce that did not taste good all over everything. The music was so loud that you couldn’t hear anything. How they call this a family restaurant I don’t know, it’s more of a bar with some tables. I won’t return here again.

I've lived in southwest Florida for over 30 years. Tomorrow I'm moving to central Florida but before moving my cousin would not let me leave until I went to a little place called Brooke's. And man am I glad I did. Never have I ever had boneless wings as good as these. Sissy wings they call them. I've found a diamond in the rough and I hope you discover it too.

We had a wonderful experience. Sara took care of us and was top notch. The food was amazing and everything was reasonably priced. Looking forward to going again soon.

I order the a special of the day, a blacken fish sandwich with cole slaw and fries. Blacken should be spicy. So I made the special request for then to kick it up. They did. Around here anything that suppose to be spicy is wimpy. You must ask to ensure. The fish was blacken on a toasted bun. A fantastic side of cole slaw. Creamy, sweet a bit tart best in the area. I got a cup of chili. Not so good. Lots of ground beef and beans. But TOO sweet from the tomatoes. Its needs more cumin, cayenne pepper and onions. Large portion of fries. My taste buds are more sophisticated than the local yodels so I have to kick things up a notch. All for 11 bucks or so. Plus a additional bottomless soda pop. Generally this place always has good chow. Service was grand. When in doubt on what to eat this is the place to go. Brookes Restaurant & Lounge, Hancock Bridge, North Fort Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I went for the special , cajun fish and black beans & rice. The fish was perfectly cooked ,season with cajun spices, BUT dumbed down for the wimpy taste buds of floridians. Just not spicy as you would find in the bayou. The black beans was flavorful with a touch of salsa. But again I needed to add hot sauce. I like my food like I like my women, HOT & SPICY. Service was excellent.

I love this place. Their sissy nuggets with honey bbq are so good. Way better than any other place to get boneless wings i have found. Very friendly too.

This place is awesome. The Sissy boneless wings are to die for. The service was little disappointing since the bartender handled bar and tables. On her defense she was too busy to give the necessary waiting on table. Only got 1 drink the whole time eating, never got around to asking me if I wanted another. Overall the food is GREAT

Great relaxed atmosphere and nice server and food runner. I enjoyed my meal so much that I ate the whole salad (it was huge) and regretted it later. Appetizers were yummy as well. Definitely going back soon!

Our go to when we just need our bellies up to a bar with a good atmosphere. Great southern comfort food. Great drinks (because the bartenders are miracle workers). And they don't treat you like customers but like family. Even on a not so great day we have a blast while we are there ❤

Its definitely a place you go the first time as a customer and then a added friend to the amazing atmosphere.
