Reading the reviews and asking other locals if this is a good place to eat and everyone said yes. Today must not have been one of those good days. Ordered the King Cod dinner. The fish was very fresh and hot inside but the batter was barely cooked as you can see in the photo and it was nothing but grease all over everything. Fries were laying in that grease. Nothing had much of a taste to it. The roll was dry and butter rock hard so could not even spread it on the stale roll. Never got a wedge of lemon for the fish. The server (I believe the owners son) was snarky. Prices are high for the quality. I will not ever return here and if anyone asks for a recommendation I will not recommend. I had such high expectations.

Fantastic fish and shrimp fry, the batter was perfectly light and crunchy! Very good coleslaw too! Fast and freindly service. Great selection of beverages, I tried a very tasty Shandy served with a chilled glass! Small place but definately packs a punch, will definately return!

Best fish and chips in SWF, bar none! John and crew have nailed it... crispy batter without the heaviness, excellent creamy slaw, and thick-crispy chips. Add a Guinness and you've got a slice of Heaven right here on Earth...

Excellent service and excellent food. I had an ice cold beer and a Queen combo to try a bit of everything and was not disappointed. I couldn't leave without an order of some of my favorite candies either. I wish this was closer to my house as I would be a frequent visitor.

EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC U.K. style fish n chips! They have a wonderful selection of cold bottled beers, many delicious imports. They also have an assortment of sinful European chocolate and candy bars. LION 🦁 BAR is highly recommended! Or can't decide 🤔 FLAKE out and get them all!!! Dining area limited but take out is fabulous as well

When Shane brought the bag out to my car I checked it to make sure sauce was in there. When I walked in to let her know that tarter sauce and malt vinegar was missing she sated, "I can give you another one". I asked for clarification and she said, "I put tarter sauce in the bag". She even asked me to bring the bag back inside so she could check it. Then basically accusing me of taking it out of the bag. Why on earth would I take the tarter sauce out of the bag. If I'm willing to tip you 3.00 for take out and spend 32.77 on fish and a small portion of chips do you really think I would steal extra sauce. I'm not coming back and would like my 3.00 tip back for poor service. What's going to be funny is when she finds the tarter sauce she never put in my bag.

The Fish n Chips were AMAZING, HOME MADE FRENCH FRIES!!!!! I can't wait to go back! The waitress was VERY sweet and kind, the Chef cooks Everything to Order, the COD was PERFECTLY cooked! Like Butter so Delish😁💙 The New England Clam Chowder is Actually AWESOME!!!

Amazing fresh amd made to order. Coleslaw was greet, Queen portion perfect, but the King portion is HUGE!!! Chicken was moist, shrimp was large. The fries are fresh cut. Good find. Reasonably priced for fresh fish and chips.

Delicious British style fish + chips! Lightly battered and deep fried with fresh cut chips. However, it lacked been served with a must portion of mushy peas

First, your food is cooked to order. Large portions for the price. The chips are cut and cooked fresh. The chicken was very tender and the shrimp was not hidden in a thick breading. The breading is light and well seasoned. It is a beer batter breading. The cod is a single thick piece of fish. Very good service and excellent meal.

Every time I visit Fort Myers, I order takeout from OK UK. The fish is fabulous (flaky and mild, great batter too) and the chips are so great - especially with malt vinegar. If I’m really lucky (and I have lucked out quite a bit), John the owner is working when I stop in. He has a really personable way about him and it makes the visit great in addition to the food

I have eaten here before. They have the most perfect tempura type breading on their fish and their Chicken and their shrimp. It is Simply Delicious, as are the homemade french fries. Everything is made to order and piping hot when it is delivered to your table

Fish is always cooked perfectly. After Pandemic seems atmosphere is not the same.. music wasn't on and staff not very cheerful and no coffee was available.

Very good food. Haven't been here in a while, but I'm back. The batter is perfect on the seafood, shrimp and chicken and portions are large. Fair pricing. Cole slaw is tasty. Don't be afraid to take home and reheat in oven, toaster oven or probably air fryer to make it crispy again. Wrap in parchment paper if using oven or toaster oven carefully. Do not ruin it in the microwave.

This is the first decent English style fish & chips I have had sent leaving Canada 30 years ago. Finally a place that servers Fish & Chips the way it was intended to be. Handcut chips, and nice big portions of Cod fish battered and fried to perfection. It is a must place for fish & chip lovers. In the months since I have visited many times with friends and family, I have had combos of shrimp & fish, even tried the chicken too. Can't go wrong with any choice. This is store the best in the area by far.

The fish and chips taste so good. It’s hand battered & whatever they do with the batter is amazing. I loved the food & the atmosphere is very casual which is perfect for a stop for a bite after a long day.

Wow this place was awesome like a hidden gem. Drove by this shopping center many times never noticed it before. We stopped in for dinner it was amazing.The fish and chips were delicious and the Cole slaw was great. Large portions at a good price. Highly recommended this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

I am shocked to see so many mixed reviews. The food was absolutely delicious, not overly greasy like others said. Is there grease? Sure. It’s fish n chips and your order goes literally from the fryer, hot and fresh, to your plate. I was greeted warmly by a pleasant young lady Tuesday and you can tell it’s a lovely family establishment. I am recommending this to all my fellow snowbirds!

The food is always delicious. We usually eat herea few times a month. Bethany works her butt off and is an asset to this restaurant. She is always friendly and courteous. Went today, June 23rd, to find out Bethany doesn't work there anymore. The service was terrible and the 2 kids that work there don't do anything. No one ever wiped off the tables after each customer left. The trash was overflowing. Bethany was an asset. The owner, his wife and his son are not nice. I doubt that I will ever go back and I will tell everyone that I ever recommended to not go there anymore.

I have dined in twice at this restaurant and taken out several times. It is quite good, on par with the fish and chips we got in a newspaper when I was growing up in Australia. The people at this restaurant are very nice. No one ever seems to be in a bad mood. They are actually especially kind and welcoming. The ladies that run the place treat you as though you belong there. You never feel awkward. The food is absolutely delicious. I do love the malt on my fish so be sure to ask for a couple portions if you're taking it home because the containers are fairly small. The place is fairly popular and fills up with people who are nice and friendly to even strangers. They will yell across the room to you to talk to you. It's a little oddity that I thought was from Australia. Nobody feels they have two stick to their own table. They can say anything they want to anyone and it's always something nice. I've never heard a mean thing said there. It's always friendly and welcoming. I think it's a group that's been going there for a long time but they don't distinguish between old and new people. They are friendly to everyone. You just have to look up and catch their eye and they will definitely talk to you. The place is not fancy but it does the job and it is comfortable to eat there. You can also take things home and that's comfortable also. The food is very light and flaky. The fish is delicious. I would highly recommend this place. You can also get drinks including beer I believe. I think the joy of this place is that it is so friendly and the food is good. It makes people want to get out if they've been locked in at home for a while. Give her a try you mug. Tricky to get to because it's back in a mall which is not easily accessible from certain locations. Don't give up, it's worth it.

Well to say I took it home in the cardboard box that they gave me. Opened it up when I got home and the fish was on top of the fries. It was a giant piece of fish and it was pretty good. They deep-fried russet potatoes and I did not care for them at all. And I love potatoes. Coleslaw was good. I would say if I eat there again I will eat in the restaurant itself and not take the food out.

The fish was delicious! Breaded and fried to perfection- light and not greasy. The French fries are so fresh they have a pile of spuds next to the wall-mounted fry cutter. The staff was friendly and helpful, and attentive throughout our visit.

I am crazy for their delicious french fries! We've been here a few times; it never disappoints. I've tried many of the menu items (though I'm not a fan of cold slaw) and loved everything. The shrimp are large & succulent, the fish is cooked to flaky perfection & the chicken is tender & juicy. The baked beans are very tasty as well & they even have smashed peas!🤗 The staff is amazing & friendly! We'd only been there once, but the lady who helped us that very 1st time remember us during subsequent visits. It's a cozy quiet place & I found the small dining area relaxing. Really reminds me of some of the independent fish & chip joints back home on the Oregon coast🥰

My son wasn't feeling good and the wife had already eaten so I decided to try this place and my god am I glad I did. probably the best fish and chips I've ever had! I asked the guy for extra tartar sauce and I didn't even use the first one. it was so good i forgot all about it! definitely going back asap!!

A big thanks to OK UK for hosting our British American Club of SWF group get together. Food was wonderful as always , freshly cooked to order . Everyone enjoyed whatever they ordered not one complaint from a group of twenty six people. Well done to John and his staff.

Funny how this location & the other that's South of them are like mirror images of themselves in layout. But the taste is the same: delicious. It was fun to try the other branch in their franchise. Definitely coming back to either of these places when I head this direction.

An amazing fish and chips place in Cape Coral & Ft Myers?! WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN! so yes, in short this place is amazing. The batter is crunchy, the flesh of the fish os succulent, glistening and beautiful. The slight grease is great for when it slides down the esophagus. I have said a few times already that a great meal does not need condiments and the tartare sauce is definitely not needed. This fish is perfectly cooked. It's crispy, moist, flakey and made with love. This fish was 1,000% better than even Disney's fish and chips. The fries, though could be compared to 5 guys, (with 5 guys losing) these 'chips' are amazing and though ketchup is an option, the malt vinegar is perfect with it. Savory, vinegar with a very slight sweetness, this is the best I ever had. If you haven't came here please do so because your missing out!

The food was excellent! The fish was excellently battered and fried. The fries were fresh and hot, definitely not store-bought! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and highly recommend it to other choosey-type connoisseurs of local seafood restaurants. Service was on point as well. The server was not pushy but stayed away until just the right moment when you needed something. Very pleasurable experience, great place to eat!
