I had an appointment for a dental cleaning this morning. I was told the hygienist was running 10 minutes late so I sat down and waited. I waited and waited for over 30 minutes waiting for her to arrive. When she finally did, no apology, no nothing. Didn't even mention that she made me sit there. Then, before she started cleaning my teeth, she told me I needed all this other work done and showed me how much it would cost. I said I just wanted a cleaning done today as scheduled. She said "then, I can't see you today." I guess I am looking for a new dentist now. Unbelievable! That is not how you run a business.

This is a long post but I feel is important. Everything I state in this is according to my wife and daughter’s experience with this place. Anyone in the Cape Coral area looking for a dentist please do not use Dental Care of North Fort Myers. My wife went there last week for a cleaning and they only did half of the cleaning (never ever heard of that) because they stated it’s cheaper for her because insurance will cover most of it. She went back for her other half of cleaning this week. Needless to say, they trying charging her way more for this visit. She asked why more this time and they didn’t want to tell her until she got upset then told her. Hidden fees and agenda to charge her more WITHOUT her consent. She called me to ask what to do and I told her to leave. That is like being your vehicle to a mechanic for an oil change and they fix everything wrong with your vehicle in the process without notifying and asking if you want those issues fixed. After they finish you get a bill for a couple thousand dollars instead of a $30-100 bill. Would you pay that bill. I definitely wouldn’t. Way before this we brought our daughter to the same dentist and they told her that she’s got a cavity. Well that cavity is actually not a cavity but a silver filling. How on earth can you get those mixed up? One is black and the other is silver. This place is very unethical and deliberately trying to get more money from you and the insurance companies. Please don’t use.

Marla is the best! She does a very thorough job of cleaning. Michelle also goes out of her way to make sure you understand the procedures and insurance coverage.

I was treated very well by the staff and everyone is super nice. The only problem I have is that the procedures are super expensive. Each procedure would take time to save up for and by then, that could cause more damage witch would be even more expensive. The prices are outrageous.

1st visit and have never met such a friendly and compassionate group of professionals. Very up to date and spotless offices with very helpful and informative hygienist and dentist. The financial management along with the hygienist work very hard to accomplish a reasonable solution to be able to get the best protective care of your mouth and smile. I give this group a super five. Great team work.

Horrible. If you can't fix the problem and need to refer to another professional more adverse in area, just say so and do not charge for something you know is not going to fix the issue. Went to have crown of implant re-cemented. Not sure what they did. As soon as I got home, which is within 3 minutes, problem was worse than when I went. Charged $231 for what. If I would have been charged the office visit, I wouldn't be as upset. I'll be contacting the insurance company regarding claim along with credit card. Charging for something you know won't work in my mind is a form of fraud. If it's a procedure you do not specialize in them say so and make that referral. I'd be more open to honesty whether good or bad then being charged for something knowing would not work. Poor practice!!!!! Dental assistant also snapped asking if an issue with them. Said No, but actually was, couldn't understand you. Word to you, don't need to snap at a customer, a bit more pleasant personality goes a long way. I personally been in the medical field for over 40 years and never once would I dream of treating a patient that way. Grin and bear it buttercup. Don't take everything so personal. Needless to say, will not be returning to this establishment.

I tell you what, this is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. No doubt!!! I absolutely adore the front desk team Anthony, Josh, and Bre. Remarkably the best team anyone could ask for. Anthony has a beautiful personality! Mrs. Candy accompanied, Dr Welch with giving the best information you could possibly have. Their knowledge is outstanding. They helped with so much information I was dying to know. They also have hearts of gold. They truly want to know you and want what’s best for you! Actually one of the reasons I went to this clinic was the coupon it promoted. It included oral examination and regular clean service for 139 dollars. After I got there, the hygienist smiled and was friendly. She gave me a thorough check up and I appreciated her work. Unfortunately, she offered too much information, asking whether I wanted this or that service. I felt a bit unpleasant for her courtesy. I went to several dentists before. All I wanted is to have my need satisfied instead of paying extra service. It ended up she told me that I needed a deep cleaning, which cost another 265 dollars. I was thinking how terrible my teeth have been. That was not reasonable since I am still at my 20th and I have been flossing and taking good care of my teeth. I kind of doubted her diagnose. The funny thing was she declined my request to have a regular cleaning. I guess she didn't think of how to serve the clients in a better way unless they followed what she told them. I felt something creepy about her and the clinic. Very nice atmosphere, people and the setting, but didn't really care what the clients really need, at least in my case. After she rejected my request, I asked whether I should pay 139 as the fly promoted. The point was I didn't get any cleaning service. She said I could have 39 dollars deducted. I doubt whether she really meant to consider this deduction if I didn't ask. Another confusing thing I had in my mind, which I am still thinking, is why not just accept my request then I could pay a total 139 instead of 100? I thought the clinic would like to make more money. I guess she just didn't like me challenging her authority, or she realized that I didn't like her ideas and she felt offended. After this clinic, I went to the other one in DC, the hygienist there told me I didn't need any deep cleaning and I should be careful of those promotions on the coupons. That really confirmed my feeling about the clinic. They are not prioritizing the client's need or oral health. I wonder those medical workers in this clinic really swore Hippocratic Oath.

I’ve had horrible past experience causing terrible anxiety with my dental care. This was my fist time to a Dentist in many years. To my surprise I was greeted by friendly and efficient people. The entire experience was quick and made me feel like I want to do more towards my oral health.

My experience was very positive.Everyone is delightful. They make me comfortable the minute I walk through the door.

The staff are very kind, accommodating, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Dr. Welch and Great support staff is very professional and performs dentistry as though they have choreographed an art piece ....... I cannot say enough great things about Dental Care of North Fort Myers ........I am grateful that they are in this area. We are very fortunate to have them! Ms. Priscilla did my initial cleaning she is remarkable!

I have no problem with the dentist and her assistant that did the work on me. However, the office has a great deal of turnover and I was told I had a credit when that was not the case. The charges are quite high and being on a limited income I chose to have procedure done because I was told of that credit. All the front desk thinks about is getting the next appointment set and not what customer is saying.

This dentist office does not call back for voicemails or messages. I asked them for an explanation as to why a pregnant patient can’t have their gums numbed during a cleaning and never received an explanation or a phone call about the issue. I had an appointment on a Friday and the hygienist rushed the cleaning and caused a lot of pain ,I had to stop the cleaning. It would be professional to return phone calls and answer inquiries. I also never had my medical records sent to my email like I requested in person and on a voicemail.

Absolutely fantastic practice. Varying office hours to help accommodate different schedules. Ample parking, the lobby is great with upbeat shows on the tv, bottles of water and k-cup coffee available, and ample room so you do not feel too squished and confined. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk area, the assistants, hygienists, and the doctor. Great across the board. I was referred to this practice and will likewise refer all to this practice as well.

Best experience I've had at any dentist. I've always had bad teeth and poor hygiene. My dentists and their staff were always antagonistic and short with me. I've been at dental care of North Fort Myers for about two years now and not only are they courteous and professional but they go above and beyond. My first hygienist there really helped me figure out how to keep my teeth healthy at home. They did a crown and probably nine fillings and now I can say I've gone a year with no cavities or issues. I've never gone this long without cavities.

We have low expectations after having multiple frustrations in shopping for new dentist. This is by far the best experience we have here in FL when it comes to medical/dental experience. From the reception to Dental assistant to Dentist,, A+ rating.

The staff and dentist were very kind and professional. I had to make a decision about my type of care, that really shook me up. The expense for a procedure was unaffordable. But through their finance company, I was able to pay for it with reasonable payments.

The entire staff are so great. I so appreciate their detailed explanation of charges I will be responsible for before the procedures, as well as the details of the procedures themselves. Add to that the warm welcome I get when checking in & out, makes my never liking to go to the dentist much more palatable

I had a loose crown from a previous dental office. The staff at Dental Care made me feel so comfortable & fixed my issue quickly and it was affordable, too. I will definitely become a regular patient. I highly recommend!

From start to finish I was very pleasantly pleased with the way this company operates. Michelle, my person on the phone, was wonderful. Everyone else had been jerking me around. I called around 8:00 a.m. and Michelle had an opening for me at 10:00 a.m. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to know you're getting this bad tooth that has been bothering you for almost a month out of your mouth. My doctor and her assistant were Kate Sahonchyk and Jeanne. They were very professional and mostly painless. Dr Kate got the bad tooth out in one piece. She is quite talented at what she does. And they actually listen to you. That was lacking in the other places I went. They all thought they knew better than me and didn't listen to my suggestions. If anyone knows which tooth is bad, it's me because it's in my mouth. Very pleased with these dentists and the other workers. I highly recommend this business.

Well first, I had an emergency and it was a long weekend 🤔 no dentist were in office around or near my location, so I found this office thanks to a really nice guy that I talked to on the phone and he happened to be an ex employee of this place Dental Care of Fort Myers and he suggested it to me with confidence and reassuring this was going to be "The place". And that's exactly what happened they took me in right away and worked on my tooth with no delay at all in one hour I was all done. Really nice and talkative staff from front desk to the back, and I would like to highlight alondra ☺️ the dental assistant bilingual, very knowledgeable and happy Lady,and of course also Dr Sahonchyk super sincere, professional and human Wich is sadly very hard to find in the dental field. They all make you feel at home. Anyways,awesome place, not to mention their very advanced technology and that of course am staying with them⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👌😁 thank you again guys 😀.

From the initial call to the end of first visit everyone is so kind, assuring and willing to take time to help. I had high anxiety from a previous dentist. I put off taking care of my teeth for 2 years. Not a good idea because now I have more issues. Dr Kate is so good and I feel at ease the way she handles my issues. Her assistants are excellent at what the do. Marla the hygienist has completely changed the way I take care of my teeth. My gums are better than ever because of her instructions. I wish I had known about this practice 2 years ago. I'm looking forward to having all my work completed and knowing my teeth are finally healthy.

Wanted to become a new patient today, as my condo is 2 blocks away. Original phone contact didn't go well as they are out a month out, and refuse to use recent x-rays as they are over 6 months old. I have had my teeth cleaned every 6 months and x-rays one a year as covered by Delta as periodic maint. Then I get a phone call back with name and voicemail stating they can get me in 2 week sooner. I call back and no one has heard of her and deny message. So I walk over and play voicemail for 4 staff in office. yes, our number, no one here that name and no appointment avail. Very unprofessional tone, attitude, and behavior. Was informed also that 6 months old x-rays are no good. So they think they're going to take x-rays at every cleaning, that crazy!!! why do they stand behind a wall while injecting my face to unneeded rays. To charge for them is the only possible reasons. I'm 66 and one a year has worked this long!! I'm looking to start a new relationship in my new state, not just a money grab. Keep looking new customers.

I've been a patient of Dr.Kate for the last 5 years and I have had nothing but great experiences. The review below just sounds like she is bitter because she has not gotten a refund on services that she received. Great experience from start to finish. I originally called the office last week for a cavity that I noticed - I don't remember her name but the woman who scheduled my appointment was friendly and very professional. Today I had my routine exam and teeth cleaning done - Liliana was my dental hygienist and she did such a great job explaining my procedure and keeping me comfortable. I can not believe how white my teeth look! Dr. Kate Sahonchyk did my examination and answered all of my questions - I originally met has last week and she took care of 2 cavities. As for the front desk - friendly and very professional just like my initial phone call; they explain all of the charges and future treatment needs. I highly recommend!

Marla the hygienist was super knowledgeable and kind, she took time to clean every tooth with care and diligence. She definitely knew what she was talking about and what she was doing, Her and the whole entire staff were all professional and respectful. Also the place was very clean and organized.

I've been to this facility twice and really LOVE the warmth and friendliness of the space and employees. However, I've never been able to reach a Human on the phone every time I call. I owed them money, called multiple times and it still took a couple weeks before someone called me back to take my payment. A year later, I'm trying to schedule an annual exam/fillings and still can't reach anyone on the phone. If I can't rely on you to answer when I'm calling to give you money or business, how can I trust that you will be reachable if I have a dental complication in the future?

They are amazing. They were recommended by a friend. I have been going to the VA for my dental care with less than satisfactory results. I was in severe pain from two fillings on top and bottom hitting each other when biting down. They fixed in no time and already feeling less pain. The VA tried telling me it was the gums that were causing the pain. When in fact it was because of a botch job. Tytyty.

I have been going here for a long time, just recently I had a dental emergency or I thought I did and Anthony was able to get me in the very next morning first thing. The entire staff is always helpful and friendly two super important things to have in a dental office. Also their prices are very reasonable.

I was called and told my dental hygienist had moved and so my upcoming appointment for teeth cleaning would need to change but I could come in this afternoon. What I wasn’t told was that my dentist had moved on too and there was not a dentist in the office for my regular post-cleaning check-up. If the hygienist had been honest with me and told me on the phone that the dental practice had changed hands, I would have cancelled. I’m pretty sure the hygienist knew this and purposely deceived me in order to fill her time slot with a $121 cleaning appointment ( with no dentist check-up). The hygienist’s credibility was further undermined when she told me annual dental x-rays are required by Florida State law. (There is no such law).
