River
Side
Park
on
the
bank
of
Brahmaputra
in
Guwahati
is
a
beautiful
place,
though
a
lot
improvement
can
be
done.
First
of
all,
it's
position
is
excellent.
Just
by
the
main
road,
it
is
very
easily
approachable.
Secondly,
it's
very
position
by
the
mighty
river
is
awesome.
Thirdly,
the
view
of
the
mighty
Brahmaputra
with
it's
blue
water
with
white
sand
on
the
bank
presents
a
magnificent
picture.
But
the
most
important
point
is
the
powerful
statue
of
the
great
Assamese
general
and
Mughal-destroyer
Lachit
Barphukan.
It's
just
awesome.
Ferry
services
from
this
point
is
an
added
advantage.
However,
the
place
is
not
so
clean
with
plastic
bottles
and
rubbish
thrown
here
and
there.
I
could
not
find
a
public
toilet,
and
that
is
essential
for
visitors.
Finally,
few
benches
should
be
placed
at
places
beyond
the
reach
of
the
water.
