Nice place to view sunset.. But many people threw rubbish here and there..

Awesome place to visit . You will see beautiful Bramhaputra River flowing with floating restaurant ships . River cruise and beautiful sunset. One can get a wonderful evening sunset view .

Nice view of Brahmaputra River & bit greenery there 😃 couple of peeple tree to contrast the view. But, some dirty patches & garbages can be seen, some people have also discarded wine bottles as it seems very camouflage area for them to do so. But, neveetheless, its very nice place to chill if you are alone.

River Side Park on the bank of Brahmaputra in Guwahati is a beautiful place, though a lot improvement can be done. First of all, it's position is excellent. Just by the main road, it is very easily approachable. Secondly, it's very position by the mighty river is awesome. Thirdly, the view of the mighty Brahmaputra with it's blue water with white sand on the bank presents a magnificent picture. But the most important point is the powerful statue of the great Assamese general and Mughal-destroyer Lachit Barphukan. It's just awesome. Ferry services from this point is an added advantage. However, the place is not so clean with plastic bottles and rubbish thrown here and there. I could not find a public toilet, and that is essential for visitors. Finally, few benches should be placed at places beyond the reach of the water.

A lovely calm place for taking a refreshment. Best place for parking your vehicle in the middle of the city. Best view is the 30 minutes before sunset.

A beautiful, enchanting spot on the banks of Brahmaputra and without doubt, this can be the highlight of our city, Guwahati , the gateway to the Northeast. Nature has given us in abundance. But unfortunately, the filth, the plastics and the garbage strewn all over, brought home the point that unless we treat the city as our own homes, we don't deserve it's beauty. As citizens of this city, we have failed it. On behalf of humanity, I bow down to Mother Nature to forgive us of how we have disrespected her. The change in attitudes has to come from within each one of us. The pictures may look beautiful, as I tried to avoid clicking the filth.

A beautiful river side at Bharalumukh near Fancy Bazar. Easy to locate and free entry. Best time to visit is during winter days as the river is quiet dry and you can sit by the riverside. Small food stalls are also available. It is the responsibility of public to not litter the place and maintain its beauty. Overall a good place to hangout as it is calm and beautiful.You can enjoy the sunset.

One of the places to chill out during a hot evening at Guwahati. The river bad is having a lot of restaurants and vendors selling chats and chai. A good place to spend your evening except for the large army of mosquitos that zoom above your head. So be prepared to have some mosquito repellent if you are allergic to these nasty insects. The parking is vast and you can safely park your vehicles easily and the ramp is also wheelchair friendly.

Just sit somewhere and enjoy the view, you will definitely get some peace ✌️

Riverside park of Fancy bazar is a beautiful view point of Brahmaputra river. The park is located at easily accessible point. Adjacent to the park stands the Statue of Lachit Borphukan. This iconic statue serves as another prominent tourist attraction in Guwahati.

The cruise is available only till 5 , the ride starts at 5 n ends and 6 , so I missed it . However it was a lovely place to gaze at sunset.

It's a place where we can enjoy the natural view and the beauty of the River Brahmaputra. The sunrise and sunset view is mesmerising to see. The boats and cruises adds more beauty in it. The only bad thing is the river bank is made dirty by the visitors, it should be taken care of. Small vendors sell snacks there in the evening.

Excellent place for running and sports. There are various sports amenities which involves badminton, table tennis, cricket, volleyball etc. One of my favourite places. ❤️

When you feel isolated and no one is near you then spend quality time at this place it will definitely win your heart.

It's a good place with good views. One can go with your family or loved ones. Parking is sufficient and the place is wheelchair accessible as well. But it definitely requires quite a lot of attention when it comes to cleanliness. It's definitely not clean by any stretch of the imagination. Plastic waste, animal carcasses etc.

Its a good place to just, sit in the sand and relax. However the river banks are stinky and kind of black because of pollution. The place gives you a great view. Best time to visit is during winters. During night u can enjoy river cruise.

All photos are of the view from the park. However the park inside is too dirty as people use to loo on the other side. A continuous foul smell is there around. The space is free and one can atleast have s free halt in Guwahati. However, the place is often used by some Extreme Hindu Organisation as prayer place in Sunday. Is not it awkward, when you feel disturbed by namazi on the way but not by a group of bhakts occupying thr public space?

A good place for morning and evening walk.

It's a beautiful place.. when I visited the place the kite festival was going on but really loved the feel of the river and the beautiful sunset

The Jeevan kite festival was on, we went in late the evening, couldn't make out much of the park, seemed unkempt. But the festival was clean, well organized, with games stalls, activity centres, photo gallery, food stalls and music on with local bands performing - all in the open air on the sand bank of the Brahmaputra, adjoining the busy fancy Bazar area - but had adequate parking. Surprised that the Lachit Barphukan statue wasn't lit !!

The location is beautiful but need to be maintained properly by the authorities.

Excellent river view with comfortable cold breeze. When people in middle of the city struggles to even take breathe in humidity, the river bank won't disappoint you with it's amazing relaxing wind. Wonderful place as a local guy to relax during hot humid summer and evenings with my friends.
