I have bought many things, clothes, earrings, tea, and footwear, bicycle at a very good price. The only thing which sucks is the crowd, also if you are visiting even by 11 do bring umbrellas, as you will get tanned. There are many places where you can eat. If you are staying near iit you can go to any ghat and take a ferry, you will reach there in just 10mins. Just make sure to check the ferry timings.

This is my first time visit in Fancy Bajar and also first time in Guwahti but absolutely this market is good. Specially for the clothes. Fancy bazar is a market place in Guwahati. The bazaar sells clothes and accessories, primarily for women, at very cheap prices. Though the bazaar is a very old area in Guwahati city and may be called old Guwahati including Paltan bazaar and Pan bazaar but you will find the essence of Guwahati here. There are few eateries in the area serving fast foods and biryani etc. The place is very crowded and hence is dirty. I enjoy coming here often with my girlfriend.

But the negative side of Fancy Bazaar is that the place is crowded. Most people didnt wear mask. And their is little space to walk in Fancy Bazaar road.
