This ghat is located on the banks of the river Brahmaputra, a minute's walk from the KV Gate of IIT Guwahati. The Kamakhya temple is located on top of Neelachal Hill, just opposite of this ghat. It is a perfect place to hang out. One can sit on the steps of the ghat and watch the sunset or sunrise and spend hours gazing at the river. Boating is fun and the scenery is spectacular. In the afternoon, it is very enjoyable when a group of boys jump into the river and swim sportingly.

A beautiful site on river Brahmaputra. though as a ghat its not any great. the natural surroundings make it ideal for hangout with friends. Brahmaputra is so beautiful from this place, one side is NeelParbat abode of Devi Kamakhya, otherside is the technological marvel of the Brahmaputra bridge.

A side of the river which includes a beautiful view during sunrise and sunset. There is one tree house structure where you can sit and watch the river. Located behind the IIT Guwahati. A good place to spend time. A quiet and peaceful place too.

This Ghat(river bank) is situated in front of the KV Gate of IIT Guwahati. A cool place to hangout in the evening and the experience becomes great with a chilled beer

Journey from North Guwahati to Guwahati city via Ferry is an amazing experience. It saves a lot of time and money. Assam state government is running ferry service at a price of 2.5 rupees per passenger. Thanks to Assam government. You can experience the beauty of Brahmaputra river in this 15 minute journey. I always enjoyed the ferry 🥰😊

Located on the reverse side of IIT Guwahati KV Gate, minutes walk away from the main road is a beautiful place to have peace. A serene place to hang out. One can just sit on the stairs of the ghat, look at the river, setting or rising sun and can spend hours (better to have company).
