I drive up to Hampton not for the beach, but to grab a giant lobster roll from The Beach Plum! The portion is huge and honestly reasonably priced compared to Boston. The ice cream is also very generous - I got a small and it was definitely more than enough for two people. You can’t beat the views of the ocean and summer sunsets here. It’s a little hard to find parking as it’s apart of the beach, but definitely worth it when you can find a spot.

You cannot get any better than a beautiful ocean view and amazing ice cream!! After a day in the ocean, we wanted something cold and sweet and the beach plum hit the spot. While surveying the menu, coffee Kahlua brownie caught my eye and with chocolate sprinkles it was amazing! I ordered a small and what I got blew my mind. My boyfriend loves black raspberry and he also got a small on a waffle cone. This was so much ice cream. We ended up having a very very light dinner. If you are looking for a "small" cone I suggest a baby or half a baby cone because the sizes and the flavors are amazing! When we come back on vacation, we will definitely be checking this place out again 🙂

Our first time here and it was delicious! Fried scallop.basket and fried clam strips dinner. Fries were great. Scallops and Clam Strips were so fresh, prepared perfectly. We visited on Sunday August 20, 2023 @ around 3 in the afternoon. The place was buzzing with customers. Our order was brought out to us quickly. Food was nice and hot!! Can't wait to come back here. This place knows seafood! Bring your appetite, the portions are large!

We ordered the kiddie sized ice creams. So many choices! Excellent service and great flavors if ice cream. A fun spot and summer favorite for sandwiches, snacks and ice cream.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with a lobster roll and an ice cream. Order a kiddie unless you want an entire pint to yourself haha. Amount for your money?! Above and beyond. So delicious and absolutely huge portions. Definitely a must stop to check them out. Ice cream is amazing. Fruits are very fresh and tasty.

The Beach Plum is in the perfect location, right across the street from the ocean and the only restaurant in sight. While the prices are hefty, there is nothing better than treating yourself to a lobster roll and admiring the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. The menu is very large with selections of sandwiches, salads, seafood, and ice cream that come in many flavors to suit any palette. During the Summer, parking is limited. The Beach Plum is best in early Spring or early Fall. I would make the drive here and enjoy a more peaceful beach experience in comparison to the main Hampton Beach strip.
