The Scottish Restaurant near Cambridge. A big thank you to Jake who served me, sorted out my voucher issue superbly, then gave me my food at the counter. A truly great employee and a credit to the McDonald's empire. Well done! Somewhere in this place I'm sure there's going to be an undergraduate from the University at Cambridge who will go on to change the world in some way. I secretly hope that it's Jake. I've also included a picture from a very talented young diner named Elvis who wants to be an artist or a scientist when he is older. Maybe he's the one? A lovely branch of the Scottish Restaurant in every way.

All was OK on my visit, but the food never seems to be hot. Yes its acceptable, but for me and many others to fully enjoy it, hot food should be HOT. I've marked service at 3 because warm food shouldn't be served as the norm. Were some of the items waiting for something else to be finished, I don't know, but then that's the skill in good fast food.

Possibly the best MacDonald’s restaurant I’ve been too. The food order was fast, fresh, hot and complete. The staff are happy, friendly, happy to help, busy and enthusiastic. The tables seats and floor were cleaned properly as people left without disruption to those eating. A problem in the toilets was being actively dealt with. Wish all MacDonalds were like this. Though I would probably put on a lot of weight!

I made a custom order and needed to get some things added but it was done quickly and happily. The place was clean and tidy.

If you like self service in supermarkets then you probably don't mind the robotic ordering these days, but I would rather communicate with a human, even a grumpy human, but there you go, that's the way it's going. Can't say I was too happy that there seemed to be priority to drive through customers, both in style of ordering and on delivery of order, watching orders going out the window while we waited for action on ours to be prepared to hand over.

Ordered dinner here today. Ordered on the app for ease. Dispite this I waited nearly 20 minutes for my simple order of my big mac meal. Started with my chips which were all tiny and took for ever to eat and the portion was not even a full one. I got to my big mac and it was overflowing with lettice and one of my patties was under my burger not even in it. My milkshake was completely melted as that made that as soon as I placed my order and it was defrosted by the time my food was ready. My first ever 1 star rating.

I only stopped for drinks, but I was with a group who ate. The food here is not my first choice and I didn't eat, but it is the same in every McDonald's I have ever visited. McDonald's has introduced additional staff in the seating areas and the chap here was chatty, helpful and very courteous. A great idea to encourage people like me to visit if it is more welcoming.

The staff at this Mac Donald’s were particularly well mannered and gave excellent service. The manager/ supervisor was as very helpful as was a friendly chap called Rob. Food was piping hot and fresh and the place was clean. Very busy at the time of visit but there was still comfortable seating. Will definitely stop back here when passing .

I love McDonald's, if you want a burger they can't be beaten, in my opinion. I've tried five guys and burger King, neither come near. I'm 58 and have been eating fast food for a long time.

Food was as expected at McDonalds - tasty and hot. Service was quick. No shade in car park which was not pleasant in the hot weather. No room to sit inside. Toilets were reasonably clean.

No food consumed as this 24/7 McDonald’s was shut completely. Drive through closed and all doors locked. 01:10. Fair to say I’m absolutely starving.

The chips especially were cooked to my liking - I guess I got lucky with the batch with no salt! Chicken selects were delicious, the meat nice and juicy and the coating just falling off the meat. I'd say the only let down was my promo flavoured latte didn't taste very flavoured

Slowest mcdonalds drive through I've ever been to... Dead quiet, at 11.30pm... Took me over 15 minutes of waiting to get an oasis... Only 2 cars in front of me.... (who had ordered and paid by the time I pulled up)

I eat at MacDonalds every so often, sorry not weekly, but the Burgers we ordered on Thursday October 19th was cooked and served to perfection. We all remarked that if they took pictures for advertising these would be the ones. I also made sure I mentioned it to the boss on duty. Just great 👍

The staff are very friendly here which is unlike any other McDonald's I've ever been to. Staff (Rob) were coming round your tables to check that everything is ok, which is a lovely touch. Would recommend if you're in the area.

I recently visited McDonald's in Royston, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a quick and pleasant service. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impressive, and the food was served hot and fresh. I appreciate the consistently good quality that McDonald's maintains, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal in Royston.

This branch gets very busy at peak times. No doubt the manager(s) on shift at the time make a very big difference to the efficiency and thereby the experience of each customer. Expect queues. Beyond that, the normal Mickie's experience abounds; poor quality, tasteless junk food that fills a hole on a journey. I think the chicken 'selects' I received were actually made from recycled rubber bands. Were it not for the EV chargers outside we would have driven straight past.

Shocking food, breakfast roll covered in so much ketchup it saturated the packaging and fell through onto my lap. Cheese bacon flatbread cold all inedible!!!
