The girl booking the room made a mistake and booked 2 rooms for my out of towns guests. I only booked 1 room. I found out afterwards that they were given a room each when they got to the hotel….I didn’t know until after they left that they were given 2 rooms! I called and spoke to PATRICK the “manager” and he refused to credit me for the extra room! I explained to him that people were coming in from out of town for my husbands funeral and I failed to “dispute the confirmation email”….they send me several emails that all looked the same to me! The guests also said there was no restaurant, one room had a bad smell. My sister had problems with the Wi-Fi and couldn’t log on to her emails. So, they made the mistake in their booking, and would not offer anything. PATRICK never even offered an apology. Go somewhere else…. Don’t deal with them. Plus, there is no view and they are right on top of the military airport so you will hear the planes going all hours of the day and night. Poor form…….

Friendly staff and a good location make this hotel a good option. They call the rooms studio suites, but they're really more like kitchenette hotel rooms with the kitchen in the entrance way, and then one room with a bed plus a bathroom. Free breakfast in the morning is somewhat limited but good quality. Overall a comfortable place you stay.

Comfortable, clean rooms with full kitchen setup in a very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. All at a good price for this location. Will have no hesitation about staying here again.

Location near stores, coffee etc. ALL the staff in hotel are lovely. The only thing I didn’t like was the people hanging out in the parking lot at times. I was alone with small children so it made me a little uncomfortable but overall felt pretty safe. Coffee always hot in lobby. Pool was very nice and clean. The rooms were very clean, and well stocked. We looked at a few air b n b’s and hotels next to the beach but I chose this for the pool and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The staff was also exceptionally kind to my rambunctious trio of boys which was really appreciated since I was traveling without my husband.

We only needed one night, a place to stay between touring University of Rhode Island and Roger Williams University. Thank you TownePlace Suites for upgrading us from a king room to a two bedroom suite. It was completely unnecessary, but a nice surprise. I am a Marriot Bonvoy member. Maybe this is why I was upgraded? Each staff person we encountered was very kind, professional, and courteous. Everyone we met was professionally dressed. We were exhausted. We wanted to relax floating in the indoor pool a bit before bed. The pool was FREEZING!! Not at all relaxing. Much better suited to icing your muscles after a long day of high energy activity- not us. We had only been walking around URI. The suite needs more than two hooks to hang wet suits. The only two we found were on the back of the shower/toilet room door. Towels and amount of towels are AWESOME! Beds are super soft- some people love this but we are used to, and prefer firmer beds. Our backs were sore when we woke up. There are a ton of outlets which is AWESOME! Black out shades are wonderful! We didn’t use the tv or the streaming services. The entire place was immaculate!! The location is perfect for touring colleges in the area. Our windows looked out on highway and parking lot. We didn’t mind. We were literally there to sleep. We did have hope the free breakfast would be ok. It wasn’t. The coffee was horrible. The sausage biscuit was so dry, even with a butter pat on each half of the biscuit. The waffles are so filled with sugar they crunch. Ewww. We didn’t try the crustless quiche. We should have. We are not big fans of pears and are allergic to banana so the fresh fruit was not an option. We don’t eat cold boxed cereal. We find it doesn’t really stick with us. We did see the make your own granola bar and should have done that. We were hoping to eat quickly and leave because we had to be in Bristol by 8 am to park and tour RWU. If we need a place to sleep again we may book here but the breakfast may also be a deterrent. Parking is plentiful and easy.

Room was very dark, not enough lights. Complimentary breakfast was not so impressive, ended up going out instead. Coffee was good though!

The worst experience I’ve had at a Marriott property in 40 years of staying in Marriotts! After securing (and prepaying) our 2 rooms 2 weeks ago, we arrived and informed that we had been UPGRADED FROM A KING TO A QUEEN, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! You read that right! That’s it, Marriott, you are dead to me!

My room was horrible...stained up floor..mold in bathroom no bathroom ventilation, so paint was coming off dead remote..had to operate TV with two remotes...didn't clean my room in two weeks..staff are rude and naive...this is the saddest Marriott I've ever been to...but I guess that's how folks are this far up north..definitely not worth your time or money...the internet is even horrible....I'm now at the extended Stay where I can be disappointed...at least I know what to expect...better internet...nicer staff...funny thing tried to talk to the owner of the place...guy won't even talk to me..dump ran by slum lords..good luck with your stay here..I wouldn't even give this place a star..would've posted more pictures lol..but don't feel like digging them out..have fun finding out yourself....would not consider this a real Marriott cars get broken into..no parking lot security..try not to get robbed in parking lot when visiting lmao

I have several things to say about this place, given the impression I was under when I booked this for my bachelorette weekend. I love North Kingstown to start and it is a fabulous area. However, the TownePlace suite was highly disappointing for several reasons. I am still in utter disgust and disappointment at the service I was provided this last weekend August 4-6th 2023. When we arrived, we checked in and everything was fine and dandy, we had to however request extra linen and TOILET PAPER when we were told rooms were ready to go. There were 4 of us per room. 8 Total. What happened on the day of check out was the part that was thr worst. My car and my friends car were broken into, and probably several other cars in that lot at this hotel the same night/day. When my friend first found out and brought it to the front desks attention, the lady basically said to her"you can file a police report if you want" as if it's basically "on you to deal with". My friend reported no sense of compassion, urgency or concern for her situation or even help for that matter. No manager was called out to discuss what happened and my friend left her info to the front desk as a COURTESY to them! When it should be the other way around. That made me feel so sad because sometimes, a person's words and attention to the matter could make a world difference. We are not looking for free stuff here or tangible reprieve, we were looking for god damn help. When I found out then MY car was broken into, guests had heard me outside, and started panicking as well and checking their vehicles for the same issue, petty cash, my check books and cords were stolen, so nothing too major but I then had to deal with my bank which was an inconvenience since I had family and friends with me and we were trying to check out and move on with our day. So yes, inconvenience for sure. When I told the front desk about me, now a second car theft report in one morning, AGAIN there was NO compassion or concern and she said to me "you can file a police report". I looked at her and said "you can kindly call the police and report this with me or we can talk about how you can give me a refund asap" and I still would LOVE to have a refund because I felt so incredibly dismissed. When the cop arrived (who was so kind and actually apologized, the hotel did not apologize ONCE) he spoke with the manager and the manager said "sorry we have no cameras in this lot". Which was ridiculous. We walked away with a police report and my understanding that this could be unresolved, which at this point I accept, what I will never tolerate again is the lack of hospitality from this GOD awful place. I feel horrible for whoever else got robbed that day and I will NEVER be returning or recommending this place to anyone ever again. Quite frankly, the hotel might want to reconsider SEVERAL of their currently employed staff there. Disgusting.

After a long day of work and travel. I get to the hotel at 1 am to find out my reservation was cancelled. Accusing of me of smoking cannabis in the room the prior night with no proof or information. I did not smoke in the room. However I work around it so I can understand if it may have left a minor smell. But there is a difference between smoked and not smoked cannabis. I booked this room at 9 pm. I feel I should have received a notification or a return of payment that my room was canceled. Such a inconvenience especially when the closest available hotel was an hour away. And of course I could not speak to any higher management at 1 am. The agent at the counter was very rude, couldn’t answer any questions and only made the situation worse. You guys lost my business. Never again.
