Aliante Nature Discovery Park, also known as the "dinosaur park" because it has a huge dinosaur sculpture, complete with dino bones and a sand pit for the kiddos to play. The park also has several walking paths, three ponds, a cascading waterfall and a huge grass area for picnics and BBQ's. Lastly, its a wonderful place to bird (from ducks, geese, cranes you name it) and turtle watch. Overall, the park is gorgeous and is the definition of a wonderful family park.

This place may have once been a great place to relax, take children to, and watch the various wildlife. However, now the place is pretty disappointing. There was trash floating in the water among the ducks, geese, and turtles, I felt sorry for them. The sad part is, while there I witnessed a guy toss an empty beer can on the ground and when I called him out on it and pointed out that there was a trash can literally behind him not even five feet away, dude just shrugs and walks off. This place might be a bit better if North Las Vegas staffed employees to monitor the place and keep it up.

This park gets 5 stars for how many turtles live there. We easily saw 50+ water tortoises 🐢

This is an awesome park. It has a great enclosed playground that is well maintained. The area is nice, good upkeep, and lots of room to run around. There is a water section for some water play and spray during the summer. The sand area is a cool place. Dinosaurs, bones, and fossils for the kids to explore and play with. Lots of wild animals to look at, but that means a lot of poop hahaha.

Fun park. Features a lake with waterfalls, picnic tables, and a fenced in playground with a triceratops head cave. Several fast food spots across the street to choose from if you wanted to grab some food to eat at the park.

Trash everywhere. Trashy people leaving garbage everywhere. Its disgusting. I wouldn't even let my kids play on anything. Covered with rotten food and sticky stuff. People are disgusting. Party from previous day left trash, food, piñatas, soda spilled, food trays.

This is a beautiful park. They have lots of cool stuff for children to do. It is in the center of a lot of eateries. I’ll be back.

Lovely wild life that are obviously use to humans, so you can watch them without scaring them off. Fountains, waterfalls, restrooms, trails, volleyball nets, and a tennis court are some of the reasons this park is great. Not to mention, it's right by the library.

This is a nice park. I’ve came here several times and drove past it 10x more. They sometimes host events here that can be great. There is lots of grassy fields. There is also a pond with ducks and other birds. As you can imagine so many ducks in one place can get a bit messy. As the winter hours approach, the sun sets sooner. Leaving it dark by 5 in December. I’m really displeased with the lack of lighting on the playground Overall this park can be better, simply adding lights at the playground can make this park a lot safer.

I've never seen a book trail, so that's a cute and fun way to encourage the little ones to do a lap or two before heading to the playground. It refreshes every 4-6 weeks, which is also really nice. The walk itself is pretty around the pond, then just a regular sidewalk path after that. A large section of the walk on the west side is right up against Alicante Pkwy, so that's something to note if you have very small kids or are craving more of an escape from city life.

Great place for a birthday party.. Lot of walking paths in shady areas to relax. And a great dinosaur themed play area for the kids.

The park itself is beautiful but people ruined it for me because of all the trash thrown everywhere. Water bottles, chips bags, even childrens socks just everywhere. I even saw a used diaper left on the lawn when I was walking back to my car. I dont know if I went on a wrong day or the families I was around just particularly didnt care that day but it was disgusting.

Perfect place! Ducks and geese abound. Also has a really nice park for the kids to play, sand pit and water area(although we visited in winter and it obviously wasn't on). Yes there's goose poop but that's to be expected. The play area is gated though and there's no poop inside that area. Has Infant swings and covered table area.

A perfect spot for the summer time! The playground and water pad are in the same enclosed fence for a safer experience! Definitely a lot of fun 🤩

We honestly had a wonderful time. The people were very nice and respectful by that I mean no fights rude words. Everyone got along great. The place is beautiful! The waterfall is gorgeous with all the geese and birds. It's just a really nice place. The splash pad was awesome. The kids loved it. I would recommend this place

Very cute park. I wish they hired someone to power wash the side walk for the kids lol. But oh well still a great park

This park is so pretty with a splash pad, picnic areas, pond and playground for young and older kids. The only con, like most parks in Vegas, is that it lacks any shade especially on the play structure so during the summer it's dangerously hot to touch. Otherwise, would be a nice time to visit during the spring.

Have Come Here With My Kids For Over 10 Years. Park Is Just Absolutely Clean And Well Maintained. Great Location To Bring Your Kids For a Good Relaxing Time As a Family. I Came With My Wife This Time After 2100 Hours Place Still As Pleasant As In Morning Only Big Issue Is The Large Rats Coming Out From The Trash Cans Inside By The Fossils and Playground. Seen At Least 6 In Less Than 30 Minutes. Over All For a Quick Walk Is Great At Night If You Don't Mind Been Among Large Rats and Absolutely Beautiful Ducks.

Such a cool place! It’s almost like you aren’t in Nevada anymore. Beautiful lush green grass, humming birds everywhere, geese and goslings galore. Great place to have a pick nick or go for a nice walk. The dinosaur play ground is great for kids!

Great dinosaur themed community park with a nice playground for babies and older children. Also features a splash pad, baby swings, trails, a grassy field, and a lake with geese and ducks!

It was a very nice park. Beautiful area and very close to local businesses. But parking area is very small so it fills up fast. But luckily there is a lot of parking across the street . Also the restrooms are not kept up. There was no soap or anything to dry your hands on....so be prepared. It has a couple of picnic areas and a beautiful pond. It even has a splash pad and a large sandbox and cool play area. Everyone who has kids should go.

The playground and splash pad are great, I love how they are within a gated area. Both my daughters had a ball, they loved the splash pad and teeter totter. There were plenty of kids ranging in different ages for them to interact with. We definitely will be going back to play.

My family loves this park a lot. We had a nice day out by the Volleyball courts practicing and learning to play volleyball with my sons. My youngest enjoys the Waterfall side of the park where she got to take pictures of the Geese, duck, turtles, waterfall and the pond. It wasn't as hot as I thought it would be. Got a workout and a tan. Definitely recommend this place. Maybe next time we barbecue the island way.

A beautiful park for everyone to enjoy, the visitors should be taking care of the facilities as well, please no trash on the ground.

Sadly just an overwhelming amount of Goose droppings. It’s pretty bad when you can’t even walk on sidewalks and as long as there is a big water source it will never go away. Big thumbs up on the gates playground but that’s it sadly.

This park has very nice views, the playground is very neglected and dirty, just like the walking areas are full of poop from the ducks and other animals that are around.

Very fun park. Kids love seeing the dinosaurs fossils. Free place to enjoy the view.

We used to take our children here and it was great, but sadly it is going downhill. It smells like dead fish and it is so filthy. We saw a PACK of large rats running. It was so gross. It freaked us out, so we grabbed our children and left. One of the other families saw this and left as well. It was horrible. Also the older children are rude and disrespectful. Then a couple of children tried to snatch at my daughter. It was clearly a huge issue and they ended up leaving very quickly, but with that and the pack of rats just running the place, we won’t be going back at all.
