Showroom for concerts is Awesome! Love the outdoor venue. Employees very friendly helping you find your seats! Drink line is long but worth it. Prices very reasonable giving its Vegas. Awesome experience will be back for outdoor seating! Thank you all for a fabulous experience!

Being located in north Las Vegas this is an old hotel casino that is good for locals especially. A place where many of the staff know you by name. There is a theater inside the Hotel Casino that has fantastic seats. The hotel has a club where they have various performers throughout the year. The hotel is old and small and easy to get around. The staff are very nice and personable and get to know the locals by name. There are several eateries within the hotel casino. I have not stayed in the hotel so I could not report on that, but I do note that they Hotel Casino being old, does have a strong smell of smoke. This is a nice place, overall for locals to swing by, grab a meal, and enjoy some sports TV, catch a movie, or go to an evening low key performance.

We had cockroaches. There were cockroaches in the curtains. I mentioned it to a lady at the desk and she said they would try to give me some compensation back for our troubles. I got $30. In addition to the bugs we had suspicious hives and were itchy when we slept. From the very first night of our stay I requested no cleaning services yet we were charged 28.34 a day for a service fee. The cleaning staff was also very noisy in the morning. They were screaming and laughing at 5/6am and going back and forth through the halls. I know the other guests were disturbed from their sleep and mentioned the noise to the cleaning crew who ignored them and continued with the noise. When we tried to order alcohol at one of the restaurants they could not provide it because there wasn’t anyone working who was old enough to sell it. I have had good experiences here prior, but after this and especially the price I paid for this somewhat hellish stay, I cannot say that I, nor the muscle car club I am with will be staying here any longer.

Very nice place, workers are always smiling and you hear a lots of thank you. Spacious and not too noisy. Lou and Andrew & Matthew have been working there for a long time. People don't like to quit in cannery. I hear they have worked there for 25 yrs, 27 yrs and more. That is how you know that this place is really very very good. You might want to check this place out.

We stayed the weekend there for a concert, the venue for the concert was really nice I was surprised it sounded good, and had good lighting. The casino itself seems older but nicely refurbished the rooms were decent for the price. The drinks seemed watered down but at least they were cheap. I would just stay there again, as long as you keep your expectations on par for the hotel type. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, we had two bartenders over the night one was really cool, one was so so. The highlight of the night was the steakhouse, the 1 lb prime rib was delicious, merry flavorful in tender, the horseradish was really strong. The service at the restaurant was also above average, I would eat there again, prices were very reasonable. My 1 lb prime rib with creamy mashed potatoes vegetable and salad was $32.

Used to be my favorite place to play & and catch a movie . Until one day I got a room here and staff member left a bad taste in my mouth by entering my room while I was under dressed.. . I called for house keeping not the house keeping manager who didn’t have any cleaning supplies so I was very confused as to why he would enter my room after I said hold on. I felt very violated and my 4 day stay got cut early because of it . I went ahead and checked out after that , front desk apologized on his behalf but still … phone didn’t have good service and it was a creepy white truck hanging out in front of my window not parked just staring … so if you wanna let some sun in on the 1st floor I suggest not . then he approached me as I was leaving . The room was nice, favorite part is that it had good channels, and soap dispensers . No smell of cigarettes coming through vents like other hotels I’ve stayed . I love to play here. I really enjoy it here but that one situation really didn’t sit well with me as a woman .

This is an older, musty smoky smelling hotel. Average comfort in the rooms. The shower pull in the bath tub didn't always work 100% making the water pressure less at times. To check in 3 hours earlier on a Wednesday I was charged an additional $28. Then staff talking amongst each other at the check-in desk in front of me said they only have about 10 check-ins a day. So it's not like they didn't have rooms ready yet. The sports book and restaurants in house had limited hours of availability. The staff was friendly that I encountered. The food quality and prices were good at the Victory Diner. I visited the Santa Fe Station down the road during my 5 days here. Having to choose again I would have stayed at Santa Fe!

We go here for the movie theater and the sports book. The casino itself is spread out nicely and never feels packed. Sports book can be extremely busy during football season( not unusual to see a line on Sunday mornings) They do have a restaurant there also, but we do not like the food there so we haven't eaten there in years...maybe it has improved??

Atmosphere great, people friendly. The casino didn't smell like others. Victory restaurant was great, food & service was excellent. The remodeled rooms were nice. Clean, comfortable bed, way better than the la qunita inn. I'll stay here again. Highly recommend.

Off the strip casino. Just nipped in here meeting friends at the food court. There was a very, very strong cigarette smell. The casinos on the strip generally have good fans so we can't smell anything, this casino didn't seem to have the same thing. We left early as it was not pleasant. Good thing is plenty of parking in a free multi level garage.

Was on the 1st floor. Smoke from casino from glass doors opening and closing entering casino entered hotel room. Room smelled of smoke as a result. Make sure you ask for a 2nd floor room. Mexican restaurant was not open the 4 nights we stayed there. Service was good though and had some luck at the slots. All in all besides the smoke not to bad. Bathrooms could use an update.

Felt very comfortable at the casino, air was clean and it felt like a smoke free environment even though they are not. It looks clean and all the machines were new and up to date. I would definitely go again.

I've never stayed or seen a room, but from what I hear, they are very nice, especially for the price. The casino itself has lots of great slots & plenty of table games. There is a concert venue, different types of restaurants and there is Galaxy Theaters. On Craig rd and Losee, it's a great location. Lots of things nearby. Staff is friendly. Nice place

The 2 restaurants are very good. The rooms are comfy but have spring doors so you hear the doors slamming in the hall all night long. There is also a $20 charge on top of your stay. The staff are nice.

Was very pleasantly surprised by our stay at first, not as loud as the strip. Rooms were very clean, and beds were comfortable. My one big concern was the housekeepers that would start talking, arguing and SINGING at the top of their lungs starting at 8:45am. It was not very nice to have to endure after staying out late in Vegas. The housekeeper would sing at the top of her lungs continuously for the whole morning. Would have been a 5 star across the board if it weren't for that, as the rest of the staff we encountered were lovely.

Casino is located off Losee and Craig Rd. It has and old style feel. However, it is very clean and the staff is attentive. Staff was very present taking drink orders with a quick turn around. There is plenty of free parking in the tower which is routinely patrolled. Will have to go back to try out the Movie cinema.

I had a service dog room with my diabetic schnauzer, it is very clean comfortable, couldn’t ask for a more comfortable bed and instant hot water, lovely. Only reason I gave a four star is the tubs stopper was laying on it’s side, not so great if you wanted a soak. It might have worked if I tried it but I didn’t want to mess with it. Related to the Carvers steak house, find out what the days special is. Dahhh, I thought it was the prime rib and could have had the steak and shrimp. The bar waitress was friendly and social all. I ordered an old fashioned it was delicious, next time I’ll order easy on the bitters and more squeezed orange with an additional splash of cherry juice with the sugar. Wish I thought of it when there, but it was still a great drink.

I was very impressed by the front desk clerk when we were checking in. The first part of the stay was booked by my associate and the second by me. She was able to keep me in the same room after he checked out on Sunday, so I didn't have to pack up and check back in that afternoon. A very convenient room, but I have three complaints : 1. The chair for the 'desk' area was like a dinning room table chair with no adjustments at all. I had to put a pillow on the chair to get to a comfortable height to use my laptop! 2. There was no light on the "desk" and the availabile room lighting was insufficient for reading, etc. I drug the free standing light from behind the big chair in the corner over to the "desk" to have enough light. 3. The big chair in the corner was ergonomically terrible! I am 5'10" and the seat cushion was way too long to be comfortable and the back was too low too! The Victory Cafe was great, but I miss the Mexican and Italian restaurants! The "fast-food replacements just don't stack up.

I'm a local so I have never stayed at the hotel... however, I can tell you that the staff is friendly, helpful, and through in their assistance with your needs. It's a clean quite place and I enjoy meeting up with friends there for a relaxing evening of drinks; or if it calls for I go there to cash my paycheck which is super easy and the fee is acceptable!! Thanks, Cannery Staff!!

This has now become one of the worst places to gamble. I would be sugarcoating if I said the people were friendly because all of them are not. I've been a patron there every since they opened back in 2003 and the machines were much looser. Now the machines are much tighter and / or rigged more so than ever. You must play like a tourist and still cross your fingers and hope you win. Security must really be paid peanuts because they walk around collecting tickets with credits on them from the machines. No wonder it looks skimpy in there a lot of times. The only reason I go in this smoke reeked place because it is close to where I reside and work. I think it's time to find another casino.

This venue was easily accessible, accommodated handicap and other special needs individuals. Inside, it was spacious and not overcrowded. The beauty of the venue is that it had an enclosed and open air section for an even better experience. Staff were accommodating and helped everyone to their seats. The acoustics were great the intimacy of the venue was exceptional in making it feel more personal; it is a place that we will frequent again.

Drinks are free if you're playing anything . If not 1 beer is $4.50. . The wind in the Wing bar were barely warm with hot fries . You will get a free draft with your purchase of any wing basket 6 were$15.00. We had fun .

To be a casino in North Las Vegas. Pretty nice casino. Lots of parking a small non smoking area when coming into the casino. A pretty alright restaurant not 5 star food but a quick bit to eat to fill you up is good enough. Betting sports room and of course lots of slots. If your trying to get a spirit from the waitresses. It's kinda hard being it's not many on the floor. You do best at the bar.

My 1 star review is regarding the trucker parking. My family and friends stay here almost every year about 2-3 times a year in the trucker parking in our motor homes as we race cars and like to stop here to gamble before we go to the track. The rent a cop just woke us up at 1am and told us we can not stay over night, they don’t want us staying here and we need to leave. We spend thousands of dollars every time we stay there. This has never been a problem and been coming to this location for years. we will never be back ever again. I’m sure there are plenty of other casinos that want our business.

Galaxy theater was awesome. It was dumb that they charge a service fee for ordering your movie tickets online but whatever. Other then that the staff there was friendly and helpful. It wasn't overcrowded either so that's a plus.

Some days hood, some bad. Victory cafe has very good food. Victory bar personnel don’t seem to be very much into Vegas Raiders, their home team. Their machines can be lucrative. Cocktail service is pretty good.

Bingo was decent. Number calling was a little fast. Other than that good atmosphere. Bartender does a great job.

I came for a show at The Club. The sound and the stage lighting are exceptional. What has reduced my rating to two stars is your bizarre, awkward practice of not accepting cash. Not accepting cash benefits the place of business only and adds an unnecessary burden on your patrons. That's bad service. Add to this that right next door to the Event Tickets sales counter is the gift shop that does take cash. Clearly there is no reason why your establishment can't operate in cash. Again, there is some bizarre ulterior motive at work here for the benefit of Boyd Gaming and a gross indifference of it's customers. There are plenty of others who would be glad to have my cash business. I will be avoiding Boyd Gaming on account of this strange behavior.

Food was absolutely horrible. Ordered a patty melt with no onions, waitress brought it, said patty melt no onions. It was covered with onions. Fries were far from crispy as stated. More like extra soggy. Chicken for the chicken sandwich was so hard, had to cut it with a steak knife. Disgusting. I'd give it negative stars if possible

Love this casino. The staff here is friendly and one of the managers in the mornings is always smiling which is great if a table is closed and you ask if they can open it she will get someone so you can play on it! The environment overall is good, but dont expect it to be a high-end casino because it is not. It seems like it's more of a budget friendly casino, which is great and has a good vibe.

Took 2 friends to the Movie theatre while I be ran errands, grabbed me a popcorn and pretzel thinking a medium would be small as well as the pretzel. Nooo popcorn and pretzel were huge and delicious. Very clean and employees were very nice!! Will be back, very impressed. Friends said the movie seats were comfortable and reclined too!

The pool area is so clean! On Friday evening, there were a few ants, but when we went back to the pool on Sunday, it was so clean and bug free. I am impressed how they cleaned and sprayed the area so fast. We stayed out here for a few hours.

Went to carve. It was a nice restaurant with pretty good food. Service was ok but a little slow. The machines aren't bad. They have dollar storm now which is great. Love that game. Downfalls are still smoke smell and it's in an area with some shady people but haven't had an issue yet.

I really enjoyed myself .I haven't been here in years . I wasn't crazy about it years ago . I'm sure glad I gave it another shot. I won all night long . No matter what machine I played it was great. Service was great , fast , and friendly. The Cafe should not close at 9 is my only complaint.

We stayed here because it was a cheaper option on the way out of town. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were comfy. I didn’t smell smoke in my room. I can’t speak to the casino, but it looked like your typical Vegas casino. I was charged a $25 resort fee that was not discussed at the time of checking in. Looking back at my initial hotel reservation receipt I do see the resort fee, but I definitely was not reminded of this fee when checking in. I would think that would be something to remind guests of to improve the guest experience. “Resort fees” are just a joke and especially at a casino not even on the strip. If you aren’t using the casino/other amenities I would not recommend staying here. Also, all the front desk members I have interacted with have been abrupt and not very friendly.

I came to the casino to watch a movie. Never come early and wait in your car. You will be told to wait inside or to leave. The only waiting area was a sports bet area that I saw. I believe, it was Victorys bar that has a major defect. The edge of the bar is slanted and if it's your first time being there it can have your beverage roll down and douse you. It's embarrassing but what can you do. Theater is nice though, always clean.

Love the movie theater here. The casino is good needs a little updating but decent. The employees are nice. The movie theater has the best popcorn. Check out the summer family movie specials. It was fun and well worth the peice.

I had a few hours to kill and needed a place to chill before picking my husband up at the airport. I decided it'd be good to grab a movie. The theaters were well lit, clean, and offered a nice selection of treats. As I was leaving, I thought that the scariest part was going out to my car because it's Vegas and there's crime, it was late, and I was alone (it was 11:30 PM and the rest of the theatregoers were gone or in a movie) ... Anyway, as I left the theater and looked around for the shortest way to get to my car, I saw two security guards on bikes going up and down the parking lot. I was so relieved! Thanks for looking out for your patrons, Cannery Casino!

  • 5/5 Roger H. 1 year ago on Google
I've been going to the Cannery for years. I love it here, because it's a nice relaxed laid back casino. The movie theater here is my favorite in all of Las Vegas and there are some nice restaurants and a couple very nice bars too. This definitely a place to check out if you don't want the hustle of a strip casino or even downtown.

Great casino to go To. I always try to stop here when I’m in Vegas! They usually have great gifts for club members. The bingo is always going on, so that’s a good thing for me because I can go play with my mom. it’s a good way to spend time with her because she’s not a gambler. It’s so sad that the buffet is closed and won’t be reopening because I really did love going to eat after a good game of bingo with my mom. All in all sign up for a player card so you can enjoy the awesome perks like free rooms!!!

Nice local casino. Clean and payouts are pretty fair. They have a non-smoking area that is nice. Staff are friendly. Location is not bad, there are a lot of fast food restaurants nearby and the casino has a few inside as well.

It was fun and very enjoyable but the event arena was airy almost like being outside. The ushers were so courteous and easy to talk to. I loved Howard Hewitt music and it was exactly how it sounded on his radio station on Pandora. I'm so glad I went and I had an awesome seat.

The casino is fine. Its clean people are friendly however they Victory cafe is quite underwhelming. Their coffee always seems like its been sitting on the warmer too long, its tastes old. Also the menu is misleading with what you got a part of your meal and what is an extra charge. Ive been their twice and had issues with both my checks.
