REVIEW FOR THE "GROOMER" I showed up with my sweet as pie GSD. I asked for a couple of services to be done and was told yes. Prior to the services someone came out and met with my dog, touched him around his body and head & asked me questions. I let the female employee know that he is a senior dog, he has arthritis but he the best behaved dog. It was obvious that he is kind, stands well and walks without any assistance like any other dog. He was taken to the back and I was told to come back in about an hour. When I came to pick him up, i was immediately told (by the front desk female employee) that my dog was not allowed back BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET ON THE GROOMING TABLE BY HIMSELF. I asked why and the female employee said "there's just a note that he can't come back" I requested to speak with someone to get a proper answer. The female employee who helped my dog came out. She said that my 10 year old 100lb dog was not allowed back because he couldn't get on the grooming table without assistance I watched the same groomer pick up a couple other dogs and place them on the table. Why was my dog singled out? If this was going to be an issue why didn't anyone say something before they took my dog? We left and I was unhappy because he's a sweet as pie dog who did nothing wrong.

Ordered online for pick up. Convenient location off 215 on N Decatur. Lots of businesses and restaurants in the surrounding area. Ample parking with handicap access. Vetco is located within the store. This location is a little smaller. But they had the item I needed that the other stores did not have in stock. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pickup was located at the entrance. There was no waiting at 9am. The service clerk was great, fast and cheerful.

I like going to Petco because I get to use my gift card from the fetch app. I went in to buy some 🐠🐟 for my tank and my granddaughter and my experience wasn't so pleasant because the guy that took care of my order insisted that I bring in some of the water out of my tank so that he can test it before I purchased the fishes and I inform him that I was buying for both my granddaughter and I since I gave her one as well they're not ten gallons. Long story short I just came off work that morning after working five twelve hr shifts at the hospital and got off @ 6:30 am but we had a meeting so I figured that I would stop there on my way home to use my gift card since this was my chance and he wanted me to go home and come back not knowing how far I lived or that I had to go to sleep for work later that night so that wasn't an option. He got upset and said you're not going to listen to me anyway. You're going to do your own thing, well hello it's my gift card. I wanted more than the two 🐠🐟 that he hurried up and put in the bag without even asking me if I needed anything else. So I just made my way to the cashier and thought I Don't want his service in the future. The two fish are doing just fine I ended up keeping them because it was only two more than I had.

I fell in love with these little guys. I mau have to go back a get a Gecko. Petco was very clean and friendly staff. I found everything I needed. Prices were not bad at all.

Jessica always does a great job with Maya. She's a great groomer and I'm pleased to have her taking care of my baby.

Great customer service by Our Groomer Mike he answer all our questions and concerns(1st time hair cut) he make sure he understood how we wanted our pups 🐶 🐶haircut before taking them in. He did a awesome job when we saw our baby's we couldn't believe our eyes they were beautiful 😍 overall we love the job he did we are definitely como back totally recommend Mike he is the best Thank you Mike Lucy & Brunos Mom☺️

I love the groomers. It's a one stop shop. I do wish they could give more grooming coupons because I spent about 80 on banana yesterday and he weighs like 7 pounds.

Excellent knowledge of best product for my pet. Asked pertinent questions about the issue my dog was having to find the best solution. I was completely impressed with the knowledge, experience, refund policy and check out. I am a raving fan now.

I’m completely disappointed at this store! Whoever wrote these signs really doesn’t undestand Quaker Parakeets, they are extremely social birds, even building larger nests in the wild to allow other types of birds to live in their nest. Not being around other cats or dogs I get, but come on, that’s horrible advice to give people who are coming in who may not know anything about this breed of bird. The least you can do is educate them correctly. I hope whoever comes in and purchases one of one takes the time to research further and not leave these social birds to live a life alone. They need lots of socializing and toys. They are extremely intelligent, can even learn to talk.

My experience at this location was fantastic. Alexander (Alex) was a huge help. Alex was very friendly and offered assistance right away. Alex helped me pick out and engrave a tag for my dog. Alex was extremely patient while I was deciding which one to pick and what to engrave on the tag. Alex gave me ideas about what is best to put on the tag and I took his advice and I was very pleased with the final result. Alex showed exemplary customer service and went way above and beyond what was expected!

MICHAEL IS THE BEST!! I have a 2 year old Siberian husky and recently got him groomed with the shed release treatment and trim. It is so hard to find a good groomer to take care of this kind of breed and groom them properly. I have NEVER seen my furbaby look so good and feel so soft!! (Days later) And I’ve been sending him to be groomed since he was 5 months old. I am so happy with his service at Petco. I actually regret not tipping Michael more. Michael will be Loki’s groomer from now on. I highly recommend him. The transformation was like night and day and I’m so beyond satisfied with it. Loki was also super calm and happy after we picked him up from Michael!

The staff was friendly and treated our little girl like she was their own. Great job on making our puppy look good and more cute than she already was!

The groomer was very rude when I was trying to explain to her that because I have pugs they can not be in a crate and she just kept telling me that they WILL be in a crate and that she just wont "crate dry" them which I have never heard of in my life. The grooming service INCLUDES a blow dry....not throwing them in a crate to dry. I have been getting my pugs groomed at Petsmart since they were puppies and recently moved so decided to try Petco and it was a complete flop. No dog should ever be put in a crate to "dry" with a big fan blowing on them.

Horrible customer service. Bad time management from the new bath person. I booked at 3:30, was there at 3:20 and Naj didn’t acknowledge my dog. He knows I have an appointment. He took another dog who only walked in and made me wait for 20 minutes. I mean why bother booking for an appointment? Then he didn’t shave some of the parts that we talked about. So I will be canceling my vital care and will never go back to this location.

I enjoy this store very much. They always carry my cat's food and it's nice to see other little critters while I shop. The cashiers are helpful and nice.

Jacob and Chris were extremely helpful when my friend was returning a harness. They didn't have the size she needed in store so we were advised to order it online. Chris gavea us insight into which toys held up longer for big dogs. Thanks guys!

great place for pets.all the employees are always ready to help and are super friendly. Dogs love it too.

Posted discounts are not what they say they are. I spend well over 125.00 each month and never get my 5.00 discounts. The last time they said you'll get it the next time I shop. I've been told that 3 months in a row. The manager is very rude and is not helpful at all.

Cocker Spaniel groomed by student w/instructor for a "Cocker Cut". A Fantastic job! Best part was it was FREE cuz My dog was used as the Model.

The vetco there has amazing staff. They were so compassionate when I had to put my senior dog down. I appreciate them!!

Groomer refused to cut my dogs nails assumably because he is a pitbull. She wouldn't even pet him and it made him so sad ☹ she told me that if I signed up for the $19.99 per month "membership" she would be "forced to make time for him". Definitely do not recommend 🙄

Every time I've been to this location on Decatur, I've always had great customer service. Everyone seems so friendly and upbeat. They also have had a great selection of the brand I love.

I was very unsatisfied & completely frustrated after going to this store 3 times in 4 days. I needed to get my cat's nails trimmed. I was told there was only one lady that does it and she was too busy each day I went in. There was no offer for an appointment or assistance in any fashion except on the third trip. The front desk emoyee suggested the store vet might be able to help. I thanked her and walked to talk to those people. They wouldn't help since I didn't have shot records. I'm not even sure I will ever go to this store again. It is behind my house but I would rather go to Petsmart on N 5th & 215 where they are much friendlier & helpful.

This store is very cramped. I did not enjoy walking through here with my 90lb Labrador. This Petco needs to a bigger location. The toy selection for dogs was okay. Girl at the check out counter was nice and communicated with guests in a polite & friendly manner.

This Petco location was the best one I have been to so far. It was very easy to find someone to ask a question. The woman I spoke with answered my question and was very knowledgeable. She also made the return very easy and was extremely friendly. I would definitely come back to this location for all future needs.

The employees are extremely helpful and polite. We go in every week to buy crickets for our Gecko. When we first got him we had problems keeping the crickets alive. The girls there gave pointers and really helped educate us. The store is clean and has a good variety. Their grooming section is large but always full. They must have good service because there are always dogs in there.
