Our first time there. Awesome BBQ and sides! We got the pulled pork plates w/ 2 sides. The corn pudding was Amazing!!!

Absolutely loved all the food! Read some negative reviews before we went, so I had mid to low expectations. But was I surprised! It was all fantastic!!! Everything was cooked to perfection! I got the chicken baked potato and it was huge and delicious 😋. I also got a side of corn pudding (to die for!!!) and baked beans (sooo good!). Everyone else also loved their food. They got the brisket burger, ribs, French fries, and a sandwich with pulled pork and sausage. Everything was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was also yummy. But wait, there's more - we also ordered a 9-piece of the Tiger wings (extra crispy) WOW! Smokey flavor on the chicken, covered in a delicious sauce - yet still crispy. 😋 Wonderful experience 🥰

My first time trying the sit down restaurant (I've had the food truck several times) and I was very happy. The brisket is about as good as you can find in Arkansas (still not quite Texas brisket)! The beans were a little sweet with a hint of spice. The BBQ sauce is really good with a black pepper forward flavor.

It’s a nice looking BBQ joint with a full bar and really good prices. The sampler was great! The cornbread pudding was the best side dish ever.

I grabbed dinner to go from here around 4:45 on 9/14. This place was highly recommended by my local coworkers, so I had to try it before leaving town. And I am glad I did! I got the trio platter with pulled pork, ribs, and sausage for my meats. The pulled pork was juicy and smoky, the ribs were perfectly seasoned and fell off the bone, and the sausage was full of flavor. The bbq sauce was delicious and complemented the meat well. The sides I chose were the greens, the dill pickle pasta salad, and the corn pudding. The greens were tender and had a nice hit of vinegar, the pasta had nice bits of pickles and cheese with bursts of dill throughout, but the corn pudding was like soggy clumps of bread with corn mixed in, which was not my favorite. Overall I enjoyed the meal, and the corn will not affect my rating. I’ll just get a different side next time!

After living in central Arkansas for 3 years I had given up on BBQ. BBQ around central Arkansas is mediocre at best. That all changed today, I was heading to another restaurant that had a long wait and decided to take the family to count porkula instead. It was spectacular. My wife got a pulled pork plate, I went will the sampler to split with my 3 kids. It was fantastic! The sides stole the show. The slaw was great, potato salad was good, but the baked beans and greens were perfection. Only place I would say competes on the baked beans is Jimmy Jerk Chicken baked beans with peaches. If I’m not smoking my on meats and need a bbq fix you will find me driving up to maumelle from Bryant. Well Done!

I’m so happy they’ve added desserts!! I’m trying the fried apple pie today but there are cherry and peach as well plus banana pudding, cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookies, brownies. This is a great place whether you eat in or take out and they have a full bar. I’ve reviewed before but had to add the new dessert menu!

Favorite BBQ place in central Arkansas! Well worth the short drive to Maumelle! We had the Trio Sampler and the chicken plate with a side of 1/4 pound of pulled pork. Bloody Mary and Kiss the Count drinks were stellar. The corn pudding, collard green, and fries were best sides! Service was great and super fast too!

Sampler platter Ribs, pulled pork, sausage, sliced chicken, and sliced brisket was amazing. Ribs good flavor and pull off bone easily. Pulled pork had good flavor just a little dry but BBQ sauce helped. Sausage was good and juicy with or without sauce. Sliced chicken was good and juicy. Sliced brisket good flavor. All these meats had good flavor with or without BBQ sauce. Potato salad was amazing, baked beans was really good, seasoned fries were good. Collard greens were the best especially since I don't like them but these were off the chart good. We even brought home a large container of the collard greens with our leftovers because they were so good. Atmosphere was excellent and the service even better. Highly recommend this place. I had the baked potato with chicken. The chicken has a wonderful deep smoked flavor. Please excuse the pic though. I have a tendency to start eating before pics 🙃 The potato came with slaw, jalapeños, cheese and bbq sauce (I had my slaw and jalapeños on the side so I could add them). I'm always looking for a great banana pudding and that was avaliable also. I appreciate a wheelchair accessible space so thank you for that as well! I'll be returning sooner than later!😁

The food is really really good but when interacting with the ladies at the front desk I felt like a burden. I understand it’s 4th of July and really busy and high stress, but being ranted to by the staff about how they should be getting time and a half for all of this and how they are doing too much for too little wasn’t the best welcoming for my first time being there. It was just uncomfortable feeling like their problem was my problem.

Met some friends there for food and drinks. The food was good and the drinks were good and I had a really good time there with my friends and the staff. If you go there I think that you will enjoy it too. Oh yeah, did I mention that the food doesn't take long coming? I'd even say that it was swift service.

THANKSGIVING REVIEW We frequent Count Porkula for their barbecue, and we are always very impressed (especially the brisket and pulled pork). This year we bought the Thanksgiving Feast and it was phenomenal. Worth every penny and more! The smoked turkey was absolutely delicious and saved me so much work and time. I am never cooking a turkey again in my life, I am going to Count Porkula because they cook it perfectly and I have to worry about nothing! Leave it to the professionals!

My boss was in town and wanted BBQ for lunch. I had never been to this restaurant, let me start with I will be back. It’s hard to describe bbq in my opinion but everything we ordered and I do mean everything was way beyond my expectations. The owner was taking the food orders out to the table, he seemed to genuinely care that everyone in his establishment had a great experience and he did his job. Food came out quick and was perfection for BBQ. they do an excellent job putting a spin on some classic dishes. See you guys soon.
