I
gave
an
awesome
review
to
this
place
and
the
positive
impact
they
left
on
me.
Well
people,
its
like
the
gestation
period
has
happened
and
it
has
been
a
night
and
day
experience,
I
cant
believe
its
the
same
place
but
things
have
surely
changed.
I
left
in
tears,
literal
tears
at
the
way
I
was
handled.
I
had
to
file
a
complaint
against
this
same
place
as
well
as
the
doctor
who
used
to
be
my
pcp.
Pearl
is
still
awesome
but
she
needs
to
leave
this
place.
So
here
is
what
happened:
On
April
8,2022,
I
had
been
without
medication
for
over
a
month
and
this
was
my
second
time
calling
to
get
a
refill
of
my
medication.
Dr.
Christine
Marrero
denied
my
refill
and
told
me
to
schedule
an
appointment
to
come
see
her.
I
complied
and
I
scheduled
my
appointment
over
the
phone
with
Sanitas
Medical
Center
for
April
28th
2022.
I
arrived
28
minutes
early
only
to
get
to
the
office
and
they
were
not
there.
I
also
noticed
that
there
was
no
signage
indicating
the
Sanitas
Medical
Center.
I
called
them
back
only
to
learn
they
had
moved
and
got
the
new
address
for
them.
Finding
the
new
office
caused
me
to
arrive
just
under
5
minutes
late
to
my
appointment
time.
I
stood
and
waited
because
the
lady
at
the
front
desk
was
setting
an
appointment
for
a
patient.
There
was
a
Hispanic
worker
that
looked
at
me
but
went
back
to
what
she
was
doing
at
the
computer.
I
stood
for
about
5
minutes
until
I
started
feeling
a
little
weak
so
I
sat
down.
I
felt
safe
to
take
a
seat
because
there
was
nobody
else
in
the
waiting
area.
A
Hispanic
lady
walked
in
9
minutes
after
me
and
as
soon
as
the
door
opened
the
Hispanic
worker
that
was
on
the
computer
turned
and
saw
the
lady
come
in
and
immediately
left
what
she
was
doing
to
attended
to
her
but
left
me
waiting.
The
lady
who
walked
in
after
me
was
allowed
to
sign
in
and
still
I
was
not
addressed.
I
then
got
up
and
explained
to
the
Hispanic
worker
that
I
was
there
before
that
lady
who
was
also
there
to
see
Dr.
Marrero.
Her
response
to
me
was
that
Dr.
Marrero
would
see
me
too
its
ok.
This
is
when
I
noticed
that
the
lady
who
was
setting
the
appointment
was
black
who
was
servicing
a
black
patient.
To
make
sure
that
my
POV
was
not
being
imposed
because
of
my
need.
I
asked
her
why
did
she
attend
to
the
other
lady
and
let
her
sign
in
before
me.
She
then
told
me
to
sign
my
name
under
the
lady's
name.
I
asked
her
to
please
let
Dr.
Marrero
know
that
I
was
there
and
she
went
to
do
so
only
to
return
and
asked
me
if
I
signed
in
but
then
called
the
other
lady
in
to
the
back
room
to
see
the
doctor.
She
then
said
because
I
was
late
to
my
appointment
then
she
is
going
to
take
the
Hispanic
lady
first.
I
then
explained
that
the
only
reason
I
was
late
is
because
I
was
not
notified
that
the
office
had
moved
and
I
was
less
than
5
minutes
late.
Her
only
response
to
me
was
that
Dr.
Marrero
would
see
me
shortly
but
she
was
going
to
take
the
other
lady
first.
I
then
asked
to
see
Pearl
who
was
the
lady
that
helped
to
council
new
patients
and
I
met
her
9
months
earlier.
I
explained
to
Pearl
that
I
was
in
need
of
meds
etc.
Pearl
wasnt
able
to
help
me
and
I
still
had
to
wait
for
Dr.
Marrero.
I
waited
and
waited
till
I
decided
at
that
time
that
I
would
not
endure
this
discriminatory
treatment
any
longer
and
it
would
be
best
to
get
another
primary
care.
This
needs
to
be
addressed
with
this
doctor.
She
cannot
show
favoritism
to
Hispanic
patients.
