I made an appointment for a regular wellness check that was required by my health insurance. Very easy, just requiring generic information; height, weight, cholesterol level etc. I called to make an appointment to schedule the wellness check, confirming that they do blood work. After my doctor finished the physical exam, she informed me they do not do bloodwork and I’d have to go to a different location. It took me days to get an appointment for bloodwork. Afterwards I called Sanitas for 3 days straight, they never answered. Once I had the time to go to their north Miami location, they informed me they can’t help me because the doctor who saw me last week is now on vacation (Dr. Daniella Muller). All they needed to do is fill in 5 very generic values about my health and they refused to help, although the week prior they confirmed that once they receive the blood work’s results, they will complete the form right away, all I needed to do is pick up the document in person. Very disappointing because I had to find another doctor last minute to perform the same work, a day prior to the deadline of submitting the wellness form. What should have been a basic process, Sanitas North Miami made extremely difficult and stressful. Dr. Christine Marrero refused to fill out the paperwork as she was “not my physician”. I’m guessing they wanted me to wait until Dr. Muller was ready to come back from her vacation. I can’t imagine how they would handle more serious cases.

I went to this clinic recently because of a change in insurance, it was my first time at this clinic. I went to be seen for chest pressure and SOB knowing after four covid tests, testing negative that it wasnt due to covid. I was seen by Dr. CHRISTINE MARRERO who took about 2 hours to actually see me AFTER my oxygen had already been taken and an EKG was done on me. Prior to her entering the room she asked the nurse attending me to ask if i had gotten tested for covid to which I replied yes. She then asked for proof, I provided proof of a rapid test being negative but she wanted proof of a PCR testing negative which i provided AS WELL. She was in the room next to mine and because the walls are so thin I heard her tell the nurse, and i quote "it doesn't matter now im still going to have to get exposed" (even though i was wearing a mask, as was she, along with a face shield, and a disposable lab coat) I found that comment extremely unethical and our of place on her behalf. She works in a place where regardless of pandemic or not she wouldve been exposed to various other diseases that are transmitted through the air, but if she sees every patient as if theyre going to be a threat to her health im affraid she chose the wrong profession. As if that weren't enough she then told me that i had to wait 10 days after testing negative for covid to be seen in a clinic! First of all during check in theres absolutely no indication of needing proof of negative covid tests. Im not sure if she was just making her own rules or what but as far as im concerned if you test negative for covid, after getting tested so many times with a couple of days in between each test, theres no reason to wait 10 days.

Went to the 16800 office, Medical staff was very attentive to my needs. The woman at the Desk and female security at this location were very unprofessional and rude. I’d rather not deal with them again.

Get in here, pull up a chair and let me tell you about my care team. The front line staff at Sanitas Medical Center are top notch. The way they welcome you and attend to you, is only a prelude as to what you can expect behind those doors. There is a level of excellence that exists here that I have never experienced at any other doctors office. No, they are not paying me to write this. The care they administer is genuine. Dr. Marrero is proficient, kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and SHE LISTENS. Then the bonus, Perla. I call her the finisher. Seriously, she really follows up. The most soothing caring tone when she speaks to you. You leave her feeling confident that together, you will get over the hump of whatever ails you. Whatever they pay her, its not enough. Thank God for the team @ Sanitas!!

Nine months ago I gave an awesome review to this place and the positive impact they left on me. Well people, its like the gestation period has happened and it has been a night and day experience, I cant believe its the same place but things have surely changed. I left in tears, literal tears at the way I was handled. I had to file a complaint against this same place as well as the doctor who used to be my pcp. Pearl is still awesome but she needs to leave this place. So here is what happened: On April 8,2022, I had been without medication for over a month and this was my second time calling to get a refill of my medication. Dr. Christine Marrero denied my refill and told me to schedule an appointment to come see her. I complied and I scheduled my appointment over the phone with Sanitas Medical Center for April 28th 2022. I arrived 28 minutes early only to get to the office and they were not there. I also noticed that there was no signage indicating the Sanitas Medical Center. I called them back only to learn they had moved and got the new address for them. Finding the new office caused me to arrive just under 5 minutes late to my appointment time. I stood and waited because the lady at the front desk was setting an appointment for a patient. There was a Hispanic worker that looked at me but went back to what she was doing at the computer. I stood for about 5 minutes until I started feeling a little weak so I sat down. I felt safe to take a seat because there was nobody else in the waiting area. A Hispanic lady walked in 9 minutes after me and as soon as the door opened the Hispanic worker that was on the computer turned and saw the lady come in and immediately left what she was doing to attended to her but left me waiting. The lady who walked in after me was allowed to sign in and still I was not addressed. I then got up and explained to the Hispanic worker that I was there before that lady who was also there to see Dr. Marrero. Her response to me was that Dr. Marrero would see me too its ok. This is when I noticed that the lady who was setting the appointment was black who was servicing a black patient. To make sure that my POV was not being imposed because of my need. I asked her why did she attend to the other lady and let her sign in before me. She then told me to sign my name under the lady's name. I asked her to please let Dr. Marrero know that I was there and she went to do so only to return and asked me if I signed in but then called the other lady in to the back room to see the doctor. She then said because I was late to my appointment then she is going to take the Hispanic lady first. I then explained that the only reason I was late is because I was not notified that the office had moved and I was less than 5 minutes late. Her only response to me was that Dr. Marrero would see me shortly but she was going to take the other lady first. I then asked to see Pearl who was the lady that helped to council new patients and I met her 9 months earlier. I explained to Pearl that I was in need of meds etc. Pearl wasnt able to help me and I still had to wait for Dr. Marrero. I waited and waited till I decided at that time that I would not endure this discriminatory treatment any longer and it would be best to get another primary care. This needs to be addressed with this doctor. She cannot show favoritism to Hispanic patients.

If I could give this facility 0/5 stars, I would. First of all, this location is nearly impossible to find. It is located behind a parking garage next to the hospital. In fact, when I called the phone number to determine where it was, the person I spoke with could not provide me with any specific answers. When you type in the address, it sends you to a parking garage. The only way you would know a doctor's office is there is if you got our of your car and walked around the building. Next, if you ever want to speak with your physician over the phone, good luck. The phone number provided is for a call center, and you have to go through several different prompts before you actually speak with a human. At that point, you speak with a person who coordinates phone calls with the actual facility. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THE FACILITY DIRECTLY. The facility does not have a direct line. You have to go through the call center and they have to call you back for you to speak with anyone from your facility. It's like a giant game of telephone tag. Finally, in terms of the actual care from my physician, I would say it was okay. Not bad, not great. Rather than helping me with issues on the spot I was directed to many different specialists through referrals. I guess that's the way healthcare works nowadays but it was very frustrating nonetheless because I was unable to get any questions answered.

First time using and going to sanitas and was very skeptical of “” public clinic”. However, I was very impressed with them for several reasons! They were very quick to get me registered and in to see the doctor. Very clean. Everyone from the reception to the nurses to the doctor and even the gentleman who drew my blood were all very nice and pleasant which put me at ease. Today there are so many doctors that dont care and just want your insurance money. But I did not feel like that here at all. I felt comfortable being honest with my doctor who was Shanti Fernandez who was very helpful straight forward with me. Thank you to the whole team. 😊😊

I went for an annual check up, two weeks ago, at the North Miami location. Apart of my annual check up consisted of blood work. Getting blood drawn can be a little uncomfortable for me. However, Alex Sing did a wonderful job making me feel relaxed and comfortable. He's the best.

i hate this place. I literally feel like if youre not hispanic they dont care if you live or die... im asthmatic. i have been for the full 30 years of my life. ive been on different steroid inhalers and pills my whole life. I came to this hospital for my first visit. The lady who saw me i forget her name but i heard she no longer works there (go figure)... she asked me some questions suggested i take steroid shots. she asked me since i was there would i like to get testd as well. i told her sure. this lady told me they do not draw blood at sanitas, sent me a referral to the ER and still no prescription for these shots she was talking to me about... i get to the ER and they have no idea why shed sent me there.... i wasted time and gas just trying to breathe better and be healthier........ fast forward.... i tried to get a refill for an inhaler over the phone...they tell me theyre gonna call me to tell me if i need to make an appointment or if the prescription will be filled.... its been two days and im puffing the fumes from my inhaler..... i hope i die... and they see that ive been trying to recieve help and they failed me..... im always in the ER because of this place.... they make it very hard for sick people to recieve help. expecially if youre black. the customer service is the worst.......

Really hard to find the office. No one knew of it when I asked. They don't answer their phone, yet they call & text every other day with nonsense or to remind you of your appointment. The general customer service line has no idea as they aren't located here. This alone makes me wary of the service. So impersonal & no customer care.

This is the wrost clinic in Florida, this place and the doctors doesn't care about you or your health. I had to wait 2 hours until the doctor was free to see me and then she didn't want to give me any prescription even l was f sick and that's why l make this appointment. Long waits, doctors are terrible and very rude here. Remember you will have to wait at least 2 hours!!! I hate this place I will never recommend this clinic sanitas

Don’t go, they Don’t know anything, if i didn’t ask for an MRI of my shoulder, and the doctor didn’t want to give the order, just an xray… I couldn’t see my injury, after insisting he gave it to me, and put in notes that was requested by patient…. I assume that was to make it hard for getting the insurance approval…. Also went for a shoulder pain and they want to do lab test to see my cholesterol… i asume is to take more money from the insurance, because they didn’t ask if i did any lab test before this year. Really disappointed. I pick it up because it was the nearest clinic to my house, I prefer to drive any miles next time to return to this place

Nice staff but very slow... be ready to be waiting over an hour for maybe just a blood draw :/ Even if you have an appointment, it will take forever.

For the first time, going to doctors, clinics, and hospitals, in the U.S., I was treated as a human being-not as a number-with attention and respect. Nurse Felicia and Dr. Daniella were amazing. Dr. Daniella is knowledgeable, she went thought my medical history, took time to explain me everything, and made all the referrals needed based on my needs. Front desk employees are respectful and explained all the information I needed. Wait time is reasonable. I recommend them without any reservations. Thank you, Dr. Daniella and Felicia!!

I normally go to Hollywood location I decide come here to the North Miami location; I was experiencing major pain (bottom of my foot) need som pain prescription reduce the pain. I was in so much pain I couldn’t wait after Thanksgiving ; the Hollywood location had late appointments after Thanksgiving. Today, I was greeted by the receptionist was very friendly. The nurse and Dr Juan Andino were also wonderful and took care of my concerns. The only complaint I have I had hard time finding the main entrance, since the facility was behind the garage, took me forever to find it but other that the staff was friendly.
