The manager Dan and the employee Jordan were absolutely aggressive and rude towards this couple I heard and saw everything. All over a bad review from a year ago, the manager Dan started to “post up” and tried to attack the young couple. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing. Will never return.

Aside from it only being moderately clean, most of the front desk staff I've interacted with has been young, uninterested, and not very well trained in anything but checking you in. If you ask them about a policy or process out of the norm, you think their head is going to explode. When trying to cancel my membership, I was told I couldn't do it over the phone OR via email. I had to come in person or send a certified letter. WTF?? Get with this century! This kind of stall process is nothing but a greedy attempt at a deterrent. Save your money & aggravation and do NOT join in the first place.

The Planet Fitness Black card is a waste of money. When I upgraded to it I was told I could bring anyone in unlimited times. I wanted to bring in my brother to work out with to finally take advantage of my card and was rejected because he didn’t have an ID to show that he was 18. I think that is completely ridiculous and ruins the whole purpose of this card. What is the point to pay an extra 11 dollars a month if I can’t bring in who I want to. I was never told this. And if I knew this I wouldn’t have upgraded. I drove 30 minutes away to come to the gym, where I couldn’t even work out at and had to leave. Completely unreasonable, the guy couldn’t even give us a break. Like seriously, make sure your employees explain the black card and state that your guest needs an ID. Completely ridiculous, wouldn’t recommend to other people at all. Planet fitness make sure to teach your employees to tell the truth about a black card. Thanks

North Olmsted location is appalling!! The employees are very rude and unknowledgeable, and they follow you around which is so uncanny. When singing up for the Black Card membership they neglected at explaining terms of use. I will be canceling my membership ASAP and taking my money elsewhere. Also,where me and my family will be respected as a person. The staff are not friendly at all and just coldness in manor. They don't even greet you when you check in. LA fitness has a lot more to offer with cheaper rates for a family of 3. LA Fitness knows how to treat there costumers! I will never step foot in there again!!

Good place to workout for staying healthy!

Just joined today. I enjoyed my work out & tan today. People mind their own business & I felt comfortable. Very up to date equipment & clean. I asked for help & received it. I was skeptical about joining but so glad I did.

The Copley location makes you fill out personal information before you can enter if you joined at a different location. It is time consuming and they don't need my personal information for anything but selling it to spammers. They are the only location that has this policy that I have visited, and I have used my membership in multiple states. Ridiculous!

By far the worst Planet Fitness I have been to. First of all, the staff is unfriendly and cold. They don't have eyewear to borrow for the tanning beds, they don't have yoga balls, and the TVs are strangely far from the workout equipment. But mostly, it's the staff. Take a look at the Lorain Planet Fitness. Much nicer people and better experience in general. I've been a PF Member for 5 years now, take my word.

I cant believe some of the things people are complaining about. If you signed something in your contract you have to honor it. Anyways, nice clean gym with plenty of equipment. After people have mentioned about the staff being rude I did notice that they dont say hi or bye. Most pfs make it a point to look at you when you leave and say have a nice day or whatever. But that doesn't make or break my trip.

Getting into the gym life scene is tough for some. I definitely need to say that honestly it's a difficult habit to maintain, but PF makes it easier. I love startin gym visit with a massage chair sesh. My muscles are always sore from the previous visit and this gives me something to look forward to experiencing right after I scan in. The cables are great here and they have what you need to get started. I feel that after a year here I will want more and go to Crunch or a gym that has free weight bench, but for now it's a perfect taper into the gym life mindset that I need as a welcoming design!

Gym is usually clean. Complaints I have are too many high school kids getting in for free and taking all the machines. Also if you open 24/7 like planet fitness should be ill change my review. Black card member.

Very good. Very clean. I just wish there was a better distribution of equipment. Tons of ellipticals that rarely get used. More free weights, please in place of ellipticals. More free weight equipment too. Decline bench preacher curl bench, etc. Overall, not bad and a good value.

Today, January 28, I went to cancel my subscription to this gym, which I pay monthly every 18th of each month. I paid a month in advance that I did not enjoy because I was indisposed, and I am aware that I do not expect a return this month because it is the norm. but the girl who attended me tells me that I must pay the annual fee. because I have to pay the annual fee when Paid it on the first of February last year. and they want to charge me a new annual fee when I am canceling days before and I do not intend to renew for travel reasons. Now what person in their right mind thinks of going back to a gym where they scam you in this way. I told the clerk that I didn't agree because I have to pay for this. and am I canceling early? Well, let all the people know, I'm there so you can see how they work and how they take your money. the same when I signed up it was supposed to be zero fee and yet they deducted the month and double it??? what kind of deception so you already know how this gym works. This person who answers me asks me to write an email to solve it and tells me that according to their policies I must cancel the annual subscription on the 25th and I went on the 28th. And according to the subscription cancellation policies which I attach a photo in this review says that I must cancel 24 hours before and the corresponding date is February 2, that is, I went to cancel 6 days before I send him the capture of the policies and tell him to show me where it says that that expresses me and does not answered more. so to see who is right, it is best to contact the consumer protection service. because it is not only for the $42 that you want to charge me, it is abuse because just as they do with me, they will do it to all the clients.

I love this gym. I've always felt comfortable here. It's a clean location. The workers are helpful and kind. The gym and lockers are clean. It has a nice atmosphere.

I just love going to North Olmsted Planet Fitness😊. You are greeted by a very happy and friendly staff . Sarah and Kaitlyn are the BEST, warm kind and very knowledgable about the equipment and policies. These 2 are a pleasure to have at Planet Fitness. Thanks ladies!!!!

The staff are very friendly. The facility is very clean. I especially like the fact that a trainer is available to help with learning the machines and designing a workout plan. I would recommend this facility to my friends.

Loved it but canceled my membership because we purchased a home gym and no longer need it they have a lot of machines to fit everyone desires loved the massage bed and tanning as well

Probably my favorite local PF in the area. Pretty well kept and sufficient for what I need. They have newer machines that were added within the past year.

They have done a fabulous job replacing and adding on new equipment. Not only will it work every muscle group, it will keep your routine dynamic with the different machines, so you don't get into a rut with the same old exercises. Kudos to Zeke, the maintenance guy, who keeps the machines running . He is not only a nice guy, but an asset to the company.

I've been going to this gym and many other planet fitness in different cities and different states and this one is definitely one of the cleanest!

Equipment updated. Machines have digital counters and weight column with selector for choosing weights between each plate weight. Incessant, high-pitched beeping in the back of the gym. Not sure where its coming from but please find another tone/sound for that alert or alarm. People don't seem to understand etiquette of allowing someone to do a set while you are resting, especially if you are doing more than 3 sets and your rest period between sets is 1 minute or greater. Was an issue before with young woman not working out but occupying the machines for pictures and video and flirting with young men. I haven't seen that this past week. I hope they ban all picture taking and video recording on the gym floor, if they haven'talready done so. It's an intrusion on everyone's privacy, causes false accusations and ties up equipment for the wrong reason. Water/ Bottle-filler at the fountain tastes really off. Just nasty. Bathrooms, equipment and carpet in very good condition.

The staff is amazing, they are amazing!! Very kind, helpful, and professional!! And the club is clean which is a big deal!!

Average planet fitness. Some of their equipment seems to be breaking down from use compared to newer ones. Which makes sense as it has been open a few years now.

I go when it's not busy and get an okay workout. The day I signed up with my silver sneakers I asked if there were classes available like a boot camp. The kid treated me like I was a lunk for asking and responded snarkily that they didn't offer that. I'm a 70 year old woman I thought this was a no judgement zone. I was in an accident a while back and had many broken bones. After rehab boot camp helped tremendously.

Planet Fitness continues to be the cleanest and most well-maintained fitness centers around. One of the associates named Madison, is a great hire! She is so friendly, kind, and helpful. She is always willing to go the extra mile with a member and always has a greeting and an easy smile. Moreover, she is often seen cleaning and maintaining the areas, and members appreciate that greatly! She is a wonderful example of a good person and that translates to a good employee. Madison is a strong member of the great Planet Fitness team at N. Olmsted!

Good planet fitness. Has machines for almost everything unlike some planet fitnesses. There most mornings, people are friendly focused, staffs cool.

Over all this is a pretty good gym! Clean and friendly! My only complaint is they don’t keep up with the water filter of the water fountain! It was yellow for almost 2 weeks! It’s been red for about a week to the date. I brought it to the attention of an employee and the manager a week ago! Filter is still on red! Not good, bad filter, city water!

Staff is still wonderful and the updated equipment is perfect! No more losing count of reps or missing out on rest periods.

Been a member here for a little over a month. The staff is always cleaning and sanitizing all the equipment. They greet me the majority of the time which is nice and have been super helpful when I ask super beginner questions. Everyone I've talked to here, including members, have been nice and laidback. I frequent about 4-6 times a week.

A little too anteceptic for my taste. No sauna. No steam room. No pool. It's almost like this place to scribges power lifting. I guess if you're a beginner, it's okay but I don't know. I think it sucks. You guys posted several 100 million dollars in profits. I think you can afford to add some amenities that would attract a greater clientele. Your business model seems to be based on providing minimal services at minimal cost to maximum profit. That's why anybody who actually enjoys lifting doesn't really go to your facility. Don't get me wrong. I've seen people who were in good shape at your facilities. But it accounts for maybe 20% of the people will there. I like a gym where the people there know what they're doing, and actually have some knowledge. I'm sure there's a client tell that you are perfect for. The beginner. Someone without a better gym near them. People who go on a short kick of exercise - Then forget they have a membership and get charged. For who knows how long until they figure out they've been paying all this time. That being sad? I would give an overall grade of a D.

The staff is very friendly, and the equipment is top notch! I am so happy that my 13-year-old son can workout with me, which is not allowed at many other gyms. Go Bulldogs!

Pretty good! Stress free. Everyone minds there own business. People watch shows and even read while on machines. It’s casual in a good way. I can feel good and workout without feeling judged. Minor issues very now and then, but nothing horrible. I wish the app had a way to track how much weight your used on each machine.

I lost my phone and 2 staff members looked all over and found my phone, my lifeline! It was my first time there, spacious facility and not too crowded for 10p. Will definitely return!

I have never been in a gym in my life before, my health insurer provides me a free Planet Fitness membership, and since I had a hip replacement and some back issues I thought going to the gym would help getting in shape and mayube lose some weight as well. It took me a while to have the courage to go, my boyfriend joined me as a guest the frist time, from then on I went alone every other day. Although I was never into sports in my life I have to admit I begin to enjoy going. Everyone who works there is friendly, customers mind their own business (at least most of them). Most everyone has headphones on and listens to their own music or watch one of the TVs, which connect to your headphones if you want to. The place is clean and well maintained. Free lockers are availabe (just bring your own lock), showers and rooms to change. I am pleasently surprised and I will keep going. If my insurer at some point might decide to no longer pay for the membership I will definitely buy a membership. One thing I still need to figure out are the weight machines, I would need a trainer to show what would be appropriate for me.
