This place needs to train its front desk employees to be more thorough in their communication and to review their SOPs for techs. I had an awful experience here and would highly NOT recommend. Full disclosure: I knew very little about tires before this incident. I damaged one of my tires and measured the tread depth with a ruler at 6/32". After calling around a few places, I was told that since I have an AWD vehicle, I need to either find a tire with similar tread depth/pattern or replace all 4. Otherwise, 1 brand new tire could cause serious problems over time. I discovered the last place I bought tires was out of business, no used tire shops in the area had the tread depth/pattern/size I needed, and for a new set, NTB had the best offer with $170 in mail-in rebates. The NTB near me didn't have 4 tires in the size I needed, so they referred me to this location. When I arrived, they were very busy. There was just one older man covering the front desk, phone was ringing, and there was a line of customers waiting. When I finally got to the register, the receipt printed out for me to sign was $150 more than what I had been quoted over the phone, with no mention of the rebates--the man had automatically signed me up for several of NTB's life-of-tire programs. I asked them to be removed, but the man insisted I get at least their base plan, adding an extra $30. He printed out another receipt with it included and I just signed it. I asked him about the rebates (thankfully I'd been told about these over the phone) and he gave me papers to register. Two hours later my car was ready, but the man at the front desk told me the tech who does their alignments already left for the day, so I could come back to have that done at a later date. I requested to keep my old tires so I could sell them, but given that most tires need replaced around 4/32", I figured they wouldn't be worth much. Fast forward a few weeks: I discovered I was only eligible for $120 in mail-in rebates (you had to spend $800 on tires alone and I didn't reach that)--first false promise. Secondly, I bought a tire tread depth gauge from Auto Zone to double check how much my tires were worth and measured the old tires at 9/32"! All 3 almost brand new, barely worn, and certainly fine to replace just the 1 tire... I was so frustrated. I called and spoke with the manager about what had happened. He apologized that they didn't catch the tread or rebate, but said he wouldn't be able to refund me or process any sort of return. He told me to come in during his work hours the following day for the alignment and he would give me some coupons. I came in the next day, and the manager called over the older gentleman who had waited on me the night I bought my tires. He proceeded to berate him in front of me while taking no accountability for the mistake himself. It was very awkward and very poor leadership/professionalism. He then took out a business card and wrote "free oil change, tire rotation, wiper blades" on the back of it (even though free tire rotations were included in the $30 base plan that I'd already purchased). He told me the oil change was a $100+ value, saying they could do full synthetic, which I appreciate but have never gotten before, I don't even know if my car would take that type of oil, and am generally fine with the standard $50 oil change + tire rotation from the dealership near my house. At least it was some effort. I had to come back for the alignment a few hours later (an inconvenience since this is on the other side of town, adding another 1.5 hours of driving). Again the older gentleman at the front desk prints out a receipt for me to sign--$100 for the alignment. I said I thought it was included in the purchase of my 4 tires. He tells me only an alignment CHECK was included (OMG!!!). I refused the check, grabbed my keys and walked out. Bottom line: This place is a hot mess, does not have customers' best interest at heart, and will nickel and dime you to death. Do not go here.

I made an appointment 3 days prior to my visit. Sales person on the phone gave me a waiting time of 1hr & half to mount 4 new tires. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the time changed to 2 & 1/2hrs. I would have made arrangements to drop off my car Knowing this info. Mike, the manager, Was very nice and said every day is different & repairs could be backed up due to bad weather. My appointment Was scheduled @ noon. I checked out @2:40pm. I wouldn't make An appointment since it cannot be Upheld, but hoping my brand new tires will make the difference 🚘

I went there thinking I needed a tire replaced because of a screw, not only did they not tell me that the screw didn’t puncture through, which every shop I’ve ever worked in has been honest with their customers about, which would have saved me time and a lot of money since the old tire was practically new! So just be aware they don’t have honest business practices. They also lie about inspections, when I called to complain about the first issue they said well they never did an inspection which they are supposed claiming to always do! Then as pictured they left the tire a complete mess, leaving the silicone all over the tire and rim! From one honest mechanic to all of you don’t waste your time or money at this location, they’ll be more honest and care more about you somewhere else

Took an hour more than expected even with an appointment. Thought I had paid online but evidently not which was a bit embarrassing. Lousy web site to blame perhaps - especially as had to click on right spot for "the deal". Entered card info on web site and thought was billed, but they chased me down and had to spend another 15 minutes to take care of all that (plus check card transactions to verify was not double billed). Felt like their inspection was an opportunity for a sales pitch. Fair price for the oil change and tire rotation, but their posted labor rates are $130/hour so probably shopping around at smaller garages for mechanical work.

Thought I needed a new battery. Turns out it was only some corrosion on the battery terminals. Not trying to sell me something I didn't need exhibits a high level of ethics. Vernadette did an excellent job. Very pleasant to work with, very professional, yet extremely personable as well. In my experience, you can't go wrong dealing with these folks. Definitely recommended!

Brakes were squeeking. The mechanics took the wheels off and identified no issues. The manager then allowed me to come look for myself and the mechanic explained everything he was seeing. At the end of the day, nothing new was needed and they charged $0 for the brake inspection. Very nice people.

Negative stars would be my rating but there’s not that option. I took my van here for brake pads and possibly rotors. They first came back to me with an estimate of over $4000! Then the tech said that includes their SUGGESTED work. Three days ago I had a DOT inspection on this van and we knew we needed brake pads only. When I said $4000 was too high and I ONLY wanted the brakes a rotors she came back with $3000! I told her we would be picking up the van. As a fleet owner I know my costs for maintenance. The tech proceeded to try and say she’ll have someone look at her estimate to make sure it is correct. I told her she should have come to me with the exact and best cost for brakes/rotors on the front and back and NOT try to rip me off. I highly advise STAY AWAY FROM NTB!!

Everytime we have went to a NTB there's been a issue. Very glad they had tires in stock to fit my truck. The mechanic decided to make changes. Which tire and rim I wanted to keep for a spare. They offered to change them. Didn't want to take the chance of him screwing up my tires. Especially my spare. WTH?

I took my vehicle in last week for a maintenance checkup, as well as an oil change. The two individuals that were on duty that day were very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The service was done in a very short period of time, and I would definitely take my vehicle back to that location for service.

Great guys here took care of me when I needed a flat tire replaced, and went above and beyond to help with my pressure sensor and alignment. Anything they felt uncompetitive with they offered me other solutions to go through. Highly recommend hazell and the crew there

I came here today because my Mercedes-Benz oil was a little over mileage and I saw a few oil leaks so I decided to get my oil changed They changed my oil turns out the reason for the leaks Is I went to another shop and they failed to replace the o rings on my oil filter and drain plug ( I know Its rediculas you have to make sure a shop Isnt gonna automatically replace your o rings If they come with the oil filter why wouldn’t you replace them?!!?) The mechanic Duane told me my rings were flat and worn and old they also did a courtesy inspect on my car no funny business here The sales associate Michael was great at answering questions and charged me a fair price for a German vehicle using full synthetic oil Thanks I will be back I’m satisfied with the work and service they have provided me with today.

I purchased numerous sets of tires from NTB. The selling point was damaged tires would be replaced or fixed free. I’ve attempted using the service 3 times. Each time I was told to make an appointment later in the week. The last time I had a flat I was trying to limp to the shop. I was told to make an appointment the next day. It’s a flat tire. I’m taking the bill from a tire store to the shop. We’ll see if I get reimbursed.

I have been coming to this ntb location for years. The gentleman in the evening at 5 pm at the desk checking in was very helpful and friendly . Mike in service was super friendly as well and told me what needed done with my car in a professional manner without breaking the bank. Always happy with service here! Will Def keep coming back!

The manager here is extremely rude and disrespectful. He should not be the face of the company let alone be allowed to work with the public. That was my first time stepping foot into an NTB and will definitely be my last. Talk about feeling unwelcome inside of a business! I've reached out to corporate and the general manager let's see if they even return my calls. Would have given negative stars if it was available

Conrads did what they wouldn't do it was because they weren't going to make any money on the service I wanted. Conrads is probably making less then them and is willing to do the service

By passed many other NTBs to get to the location in North Olmsted a 45 minute drive from were I lived. The extra drive was worth it because all of my expectations for professional and timely service were meet. I will certainly continue to patronize the NTB again at the North Olmsted location on Lorain Rd.

Went in for tires and oil change..ended up with a front end alignment which I know was unnecessary! They are the only place that carry Michelin tires so I really didn't have a choice, but the front desk guys were nice.

Absolutely unprofessional. I booked a 3:30 appointment for an oil change. Dropped the car off at 3:30 spoke to the guys at the front desk they asked if I was gonna wait for or come back I said i'd come back in a little. I get back at 6 pm to give them extra time in case they were busy. 2 1/2 hours later and they hadn't even started working on my car. I finally got my oil changed and left at 7:40 over 4 hours after my scheduled appointment time. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location, the first time they atleast gave me 50% off for the hassle. Will not go back for any work of any kind and was in the market for new tires.

If I could give zero stars I would. Take your car somewhere else. Called them about needing some exhaust work, and they tell me to bring my car in because they have to look at it before they can price it. Tell me if I get it there by 1 pm they should be able to get it taken care of the same day. Nearly 2 and a half hours later I get a call telling me my car needs exhaust from the catalytic converter back but they can't give me a price because places are closed. Tell me I can leave it til Monday but can't tell me how much to repair it. Tell them I'll come and pick the car up. When I arrive I get hit with a $22 inspection fee which was not disclosed when I dropped my car off. Also the invoice states complete car inspection but they failed to give me a report. Their comment is "we have to pay our employees" I will be going elsewhere even if they cost me more money.

Friendly and helpful. My truck runs better... I'm happy. Get quotes in writing and bring with you when you pick up your vehicle.. they honer their quotes. No complaints.. will use them again. I've been a fan and customer of NTB for many years.

After many Tire Rotations at NTB some Lug Nuts became Seized and was told they could not rotate tires. I wrote a bad review, and within hours was contacted and my complaint was Forwarded to Corporate. I am happy to report that Mike the Service Manager at North Olmsted took care of fixing the problem today, replacing two stripped Lug Nut Posts at no Charge to Me.
