Our first time ever having shawarma and we were recommended to come here. We were not disappointed! Everything is made to order and the wrap is grilled lightly. The flavors of everything were absolutely delicious! The french fries were nice and crispy and the meat had a lovely deep flavor. The fresh veggies and hot sauce were a perfect compliment to the meat. We'll definitely be coming back when we visit North Olmsted again!

The food was AMAZING. Worth a trip if you are near. I walked in and the warm smells of the restaurant welcomed me, along with the owner. He cooked the food from start to finish. While carrying a great conversation with a curious new guest. My wife and I had the chicken shawarma combo with a pop. The combo gets you a generous amount of well seasoned fries and a can of soda. The chicken was juicy, the vegetables were fresh and the sauce completed it all. Add the hummus that we are gonna save for later and you could ask for a better meal, lunch or dinner, we will be back.

An amazing hidden gem in North Olmsted! Huge food portions as well - delicious! One of our faves 😍 chicken wrap and spinach pie shown.

It used to be better. We got beef shawarma and when the man serving us made them, he poorly tossed in the ingredients. He was rude, disrespectful and did not care about evenly proportioning everything, he just kind of threw it all together. The overwhelming hot sauce he put in ruined the taste of everything else and the beef was burnt and tough. It was just a mixture of random things. I'm really disappointed because it used to be better, the meat doesn't taste fresh and looking at the meat in the kitchen I could see so much grease. It took a really time for them to complete my order as well. Really dislike it. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Oh wow. I'm in heaven. Do yourself a favor and get here ASAP. The gentleman that served me helped me decide on what to get - there is so much that they offer. I can't wait to go back and try more. I had an order of the grape leaves which I devoured in about 45 seconds. He warmed them up for me and served them with a fresh lemon. Honestly the best grape leaves I've ever had. So fresh and dense. So tightly rolled like a cigar. I also had a shawarma salad with beef and chicken. I loved the beef, but the chicken was absolutely incredible. The yogurt dressing and hot sauce on the salad was perfect. I also got a freshly baked savory pie that I'm going to have later. This place checks all of the boxes - local, homemade, fresh, healthy, amazing and generous service, and tons of options. So glad they opened, and I can't wait to come back and try more.

Delicious food, the best shawarma I’ve had (and I really enjoy middle eastern food!). The beef tasted fresh and was perfectly spiced. The cook also made a delightful presentation of the beef shawarma combo. Unfortunately I didn’t think to take a pic before I had a few bites. Will definitely come here again. 5/5

We dropped by here for lunch. We got the chicken and beef Shawarma. They were very juicy and delicious :p. We would definitely come again as it’s a cute little lunch spot down the road from where we’re staying (temp). We were the only ones dining in so our food do not take long to prepare. Will definitely be coming back and will update the review as appropriate. Shawarma 5/5 Grape leaves :4/5 Desserts: 3.5/5 (baklava 4.5/5)

Habibi is on the "Bee Knees" list of eateries! Good to see this little gem around here! The shawarma combo features a nice healthy portioned wrap, french fries, a slab of white sauce, some salad and a beverage. The food is freshly prepared in front of you. The restaurant is clean, well organized and the service is amazing! The associate behind the counter treats you like an old friend. There is a great selection of sweet treats and cakes. Most of the sweets are made in house. Habibi also has hard to find imported chocolate and dry fruit/nuts. EDIT: I had a lamb over rice called "mansaf". However, it was not great for the price paid. Basically, larger boiled lamb pieces over a ton of rice. An accompaniment of warm yogurt is provided. The lamb is not flavorful and did not have any spices. Stick with the shawarma wraps. Dropped review to 3 stars for now.

Ammar did a wonderful job greeting us and taking care of all our needs. With everything made to order we knew we were in for a real treat. The falafel was crispy and delicious served with some tahina sauce. Very good stuffed grape leaves, just ask for a sample and he will let you taste for yourself. Hummus was served with cooked whole chickpeas and fresh parsley, very good. Unfortunately they were out of fresh pita by the time we got there but I hear its very good. Now the bakery....watch out because if you are not careful you can end up spending your whole paycheck here. The baklava case was beautiful and overwhelming and might I say very delicious. I never tried this one dessert before and now I can't remember the name of it I want to say knafeh maybe not but oh my gosh it was this beautiful square of cheesy goodness that had like a little crust of shredded wheat and it was topped with some pistachios oh my gosh so good you heat it in the microwave for Ammar said only 35 seconds. I will definitely be back for that! The Russian tea cakes oh my goodness!!!! Hubby got a couple apricot pastries too. I can't wait to go back. It was so good! I remember months back popping in while they were still in the development portion of starting the business out just to see what it was going to be and they were so kind to me. I told them I would be back and I was back and glad that I came. If you found my review helpful in any way please give it a thumbs up and consider following me for honest and detailed reviews so that you know whether or not you should chance spending your hard-earned money somewhere. Thank you.

The chicken shawarma was good. Not the best but not greasy (mostly white meat) so some people might prefer it. Also, no heavy white pepper like some shawarmas, which I like, but some people might prefer habibi shawarma. The garlic sauce, pickles and hot sauce good. You can get other toppings on the shawarma like lettuce which some might like. The shawarma is the reason for the stars. The shawarma meat was precut deli style and I got there at opening so guaranteed the meat was not fresh. Nonetheless, it works. The Baba ghanoush was good. Large servings. The best that I've had in Cleveland. Because of my experience with the other food, tho, I'm not sure I have the appetite to enjoy the left overs we have. The reason for low stars... The grape leaves were hard, dried out and weird. My husband says they were undercooked and old. The guy who took my money served them to me saying they would be my favorite. Its good I got take out because when I tried the grape leaves, I was disgusted by this lie. Now... the reason for the low stars. I could not swallow any of the bakery sweets I tied. Spite them all out the quality old and stale and bad. Croissant was Dried out. Almost hard like a brick.. over a month old. Man who took my money had the nerve to tel me the croissants were not croissants but another kind of pastry... shame on him. Horrible quality croissants. The pastatio filling on another pastry was burnt and my husband said moldy. The birds nest sugary pastry dried out ... so bad. Could have gotten more for my money by buying boxed pastries from grocery. I feel so bad for the people who are invested in this business and counting on it to build a life. The bakery needs a serious intervention and, after the grape leaves, I cannot trust the deli counter, either. To end positive, the design is good. The place is clean. You can see the pictures. God bless them.

The food was ok. We had shawarma sandwiches. The hummus was lackluster in taste. I guess I’m spoiled with all the good Mediterranean food we get locally.

My husband and I shared the rice bowl. The rice is yellow and so moist. We got chicken, which was cooked perfectly, and had lots of fresh toppings added on. The sauce was delicious. We were very pleased.

Our meal was delicious! I had the chicken shawarma wrap, fries and drink and my husband had the beef, which he inhaled it was so delicious. The meal was fresh and the spices and garlic and chili sauces were a great compliment. The side salad had a crisp dressing that was very refreshing. Owner was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

I got the chicken shawarma wrap combo. Salad was fresh. The wrap was really great. The sauce made it even better. I'm definitely going to frequent this place more often.

Phenomenal food and experience. I never stopped in before, even after a co-worker raved about this place many times. I am so glad I went today! Had a great chat with the owner, he described each pastry and gave a couple of samples while my order was being completed. The beef and chicken shawarma wraps we got were massive and delicious, perfectly seasoned and cannot properly be described with words. Seriously, the best. I didn’t get pictures because we tore right into our meal because it smelled so good. Cannot wait to return to try something else, I’m just mad I didn’t go here sooner.

Ordered some shawarma for me and the family along with some bakery everything was delicious. The man working behind the counter was very polite and courteous. Even gave us a discount.

First of all, the owner is so delusional and one of the most arrogant and disrespectful restaurant owners that I came across. I went there in Ramadan while ago and the chicken shawarma sandwich that I was served was cold and tasted bland. The owner needs to get a grip and fix his attitude and arrogance before all then improve his food quality.

First time here. The lamb shawarma combo was great and reasonably priced. The owner also gave me a sample of a homemade chocolate and pistachio dessert. It was delicious! Unfortunately I didn’t get the name. The atmosphere is clean, well taken care of, and friendly. Very nice people. Will definitely come again. Thank you!
