This is truly a culinary experience in a regular strip mall. Don’t do what we did and keep driving past it. Don’t hesitate, go in, you can thank me later. On entering the restaurant, you will be transported to an elegant, fine-dining, French/Italian fusion. We came in for flavor of Palm Beach, and I can guarantee we will be back. It’s a wonderful experience to celebrate an occasion, or just to splurge on a fantastic meal. While it is pricey, remember that you get what you pay for. Good ingredients make exceptional food. The foie gras and lobster bisque, absolutely delicious. They also have an incredible mushroom strudel, yes, I know it sounds like something you would never order, trust me, order it. I had the veal braised short rib and my husband had the crusted pork chop. The tiramisu was incredibly fluffy, and I’m pretty sure I could eat an entire sheet of it. it’s hard not to fill up on the bread and baba ghanoush, but try. If you enjoy good wine, this is the place for you. They have an extensive wine list and you can always take the rest home:)

If I could give Cafe Chardonnay 6 stars, I would. This restaurant makes our top 5 favorite restaurants. Walking up to the restaurant is beautiful with a lot of greenery and white lights; it does not look like a "plaza restaurant", it's even more gorgeous inside. We sat upstairs next to the ledge and it gave us great views of the entire restaurant. Everything is 5 stars, the menu, the staff, the food, the drinks, the desserts. I had an old fashioned and my date had Caymus by the glass, what a treat! They know how to make a proper old fashioned. We had the roasted cauliflower for an app. I had the filet with potato gratin and my date had the veal chop and we ordered a side of brussel sprouts. For dessert, you can pick a sample of 3 of their desserts so really indulged and each ordered a sample of 3 so we could taste 6 of their desserts. Jaiden was our server, he was excellent - very knowledgeable about the menu and old fashioned cocktails. Great ambiance and atmosphere. Highly recommend for dates and celebrations.

This beautiful covern situated next to a Publix is a hidden gem. The restaurant really captures the magical feeling of a french cafe, and it was a great way to celebrate my moms birthday. Everything was delicious and the portions were amazing and the drinks were also great. Ten out of ten would go again.🥂🍾

My husband and I LOVE Cafe Chardonnay. We came to this restaurant for our first dating anniversary and we liked it so much that it became a tradition. We have been consistently coming back every year since then. We even came the day we got married (during Covid craziness in July 2020) and the service was top notch. They made our day very special despite the restrictions at the time.

Might be a nice place if you wish to impress a date. Has nice ambiance and a fantastic and personable service staff. The food in my opinion was nicely prepared and served but my dish wasn't all that flavorful. My wife on the other hand said her meal was good. I guess it depends on what you order!

We just happened to be looking for a place to eat dinner after mass . We saw that Paddy Macs was closed so we went around the building and to our surprise we found Cafe Chardonnay. We never knew that it was there so decided to give it a try and very pleased that we did! The outdoor seating area is beautiful, it's covered and surrounded by lush foliage but we opted for inside . We had no reservation but the lovely hostess assured us that it wasn't a problem. She showed us to our table and presented us with the menus. Tom, our server was right over, explained the menu choices and took our drink order. Delicious crusty bread and roasted eggplant spread appeared to our delight! We chose the Prix Fixe menu and loved every course! The appetizers were delicious! We had Lobster and Sweet Corn Ravioli and Warm Almond Crusted Goat Cheese with Mission Fig Jam Crostini . Dinner was just as delicious! Tender Pan Roasted NC Pork Chop and Burgundy Braised Short Rib were definitely wonderful . We had to get our dessert to take home because (you guessed it) we were stuffed! The service was impeccable, ambiance was delightful and the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning to this beautiful, delicious Cafe often!

Seriously considered going for a COVID test after the meal because the food was so bland and tasteless. 2 stars only because of the bread & baba ganoush and pretty atmosphere outside with the string lights. Got the grouper special ($48) which was supposed to be served over a lobster risotto- the risotto can only be described as rice mush with peas and a few pink specks that I think were supposed to represent the lobster. Grouper serving was thin and flavorless and would not be able to differentiate between any other cheap white fish. Also got the lobster and scallop entree ($48) that was supposed to be served with a truffle Parmesan cream sauce- came with half a lobster tail and 3 scallops literally floating in a bowl of tasteless cream sauce, fettuccine and peas. Between 2 of us we couldn’t get down more than a few bites because it was so rich and I’m pretty sure was just straight cream. We did mention to the server that we were unimpressed to which she replied that she was sorry we didn’t enjoy it and that most people like those dishes. The manager came over to check on things after we had paid and were getting ready to leave. We told her we were unimpressed and the food was tasteless, not as described, and certainly not what you’d expect at a restaurant with $30+ entrees (most were $40s-$50s). She apologized and said we should have mentioned it to the server so they could have given us something different. We had mentioned it to the server, and we weren’t expecting a discount, meal replacement, or anything for free, just hoping to provide some constructive feedback, and her response was as noted above. The manager’s response to the lack of any hint of truffle in the lobster dish was that it’s a very light and delicate flavor that you might not notice(!!!). The restaurant has been around for 30 years and has a good reputation, but I believe they got a new chef within the last year so maybe that explains things.

The food and service were simply outstanding. My wife and I were there to celebrate my birthday and everyone from the hostess, server and bussers were friendly and professional. It was definitely a memorable experience

Another amazing meal last night! This restaurant has excellent dishes, drinks and dessert. The owner is a former pastry chef and his desserts are fresh and divine. The restaurant has a wonderful lively vibe with mood lighting both inside an out. Worth every penny! The bar tenders are fabulous, so professional and personable. The oysters were exceptional and so were our meals. Everything came out hot and timely Will be bank again and again!

Absolutely STUNNING restaurant, perfect for a romantic date night or anniversary celebration. 😍 The lighting is dim, very romantic ambiance. Lighting fixtures and other decor is just gorgeous. Our food was out of this world amazing and our server was very knowledgeable. This restaurant has been around for quite some time, under the same ownership and many of the staff members have been there for an extended period of time also. That tells me a lot about the owners and how they run their business and care for their staff. I have to also mention that the wine list is probably the most expansive I've ever seen at a single restaurant and our server was able to help us find a couple of new favorites. All in all, super happy with our choice to dine here for date night and we will definitely return again and again. Can't go wrong with an amazing atmosphere, stellar service and delicious food. Final note - the prices aren't cheap and I wouldn't expect them to be at a beautiful place like this. You get what you pay for and at Cafe Chardonnay, it's well worth it! 😉

This is a great find! It isn’t new, it’s just new to us! The restaurant has been there for decades and has consistently great food. You definitely need a reservation to get in during prime eating hours. We have ordered the lamb twice now and its consistently very good. The scallops looked fantastic but they will have to be a next time experience. The fish has been great! It’s a broad menu so it will take a while to work your way through all of the fantastic choices. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I dine here regularly because the food is always wonderfully prepared and consistent- farm to table quality. I had the octopus 🐙 App and the cod with lobster risotto- very delicious. Their lobster bisque is the best in PB County. We celebrated 2 birthdays our last visit, and surprised to get complimentary desserts. The flourless chocolate cake is amazing, but cheesecake was very dense, heavy… not fluffy & light the way I like. My only reason for 4 stars ⭐️ this time was the service. Our waiter was not the friendliest, seemed to be in a hurry to get in our order, didn’t check to see if we needed anything, didn’t ask if we wanted coffee with our desserts. Service at CC is generally exceptional, but this time it was a little disappointing. Hiring servers who don’t like their job is not wise. This guy clearly didn’t enjoy what he was doing.

From the moment I arrived with my wife. I could tell this was a well run restaurant. The attention to detail was obvious. The grilled Spanish octopus and calamari appetizer was delicious. The elk chop was incredible and I highly recommend. It does not have a gamely flavor and is very lean.If looking for something different the elk chop is the way to go. You do not normally see this on south Florida menus. Great dining experience!

This was our first visit. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Our waiter, John, was attentive, very knowledgeable, and friendly. They have great options throughout the menus from cocktails to wine selection to desserts. We shared the buratta appetizer which was nice and light. For dinner I had the skirt steak special. The meat was very tender and delicious. We took dessert home because we were so stuffed but we’re too excited not to try something from the extensive dessert menu. All of which is made from scratch in house. All in all we will definitely be returning!

What a wonderful Three course meal we had tonight with friends. We decided to try the Palm Beach dine special. Our server brought us some delicious bread and a babbaganush spread. We started with the lamb ravioli and my wife with the lobster bisque. Filled with flavor! Then on to the main course where I had the pork chop with a sweet potato hash (built like a lasagna). oh, so good! My wife had the Branzino skin on (no head for those that do not like) very tasty and light. and finished off with a flourless chocolate ganache cake, and I had the raspberry taramisu. We had it all and enjoyed it with a few friends. A must if in PGA! I followed up today with a visit here for Father's Day and an update. Father’s Day for myself and my father in law with our wives, we came to my wife’s favorite PGA restaurant for dinner. We started with the ladies having Martinis. And the gents had Mushroom strudel and cauliflower roasted with a light sauce. I started with a French Onion Soup, and the inlaws shared a Ceasar salad. Both were very good. I felt the Mushroom Strudel was a little small but extremely flavorful. For our dinners, we had an assortment of items, I went with the Yellowtail for the second night. One Halibut one ciopinno and my wife had the rack of lamb. Daniel, our waiter, was very professional and was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some suggestions. I can’t believe I forgot to take photos of the apps. But I did get photos of our main dishes  My Snapper was cooked perfectly and because it is with a fruit salsa it was on the sweet  side. So be sure you like sweet in your food. I thought it was delicious. The ciopinno was great with a light red sauce. And the lamb was cooked to perfection. Halibut  was fresh and tasty as I tried each dish tonight. One thing I would note is if you have seniors with you make sure to note in your reservation to keep you in the first floor as we were put on the loft up the stairs which was fine for us but harder to get the in-laws up and down the stairs.

We had a birthday dinner for my wife. Ten people in a private setting upstairs. Food and service were excellent. The evening was topped off by a custom strawberry short birthday cake.

Such a very nice night. The setting was fine. The service attentive, and the food very good. Why only 4 stars? We were all turned off by the awful Babaghanoush that was a freebie presented with the baguette.

Asked server to recommend between two dishes, both with lobster and was told that they were out of lobster, but he still recommended the halibut with lobster carbonara risotto, stating that was where all of their lobster was used. What a mistake. There was one very small piece of lobster, no bacon, no peas and it was a grey chewy mess with not even a hint of seafood flavor. My niece took a bite and agreed with my assessment and I gave up trying to eat it. Waiter was nowhere to be found after it was served until it was time for dessert. Apparently we did get some kind of discount as my brother paid the check, but why did this even happen as this is a regular menu item? If not for the discount and the solid appetizers, my rating would have been lower. The rest of our group were satisfied with their meal.

Thank you for making my husband's birthday dinner so magical, we love coming here every year to celebrate. It's a bit of a drive for us but totally worth it. Tom was a great server, very patient and professional.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Service and food was great. What an improvement over 1000 North. We had heard great reports and were terribly disappointed. We'll definitely return often to Cafe Chardonnay.

Food was incredible, server Tom was delightful, outside table was lovely under fairy lights. These are the reasons I gave Café Chardonnay 5 stars. I thought about only giving 4, when due to my lack of reservation, the hostess asked me how fast I can eat…..? Seriously. But I was accommodated and all was wonderful after that. Hopefully, I ate fast enough for them to turn the table quickly.

Our face date night spot. Every time we go we always get amazing service. The food is incredible each time. And a local staple since 1984. We love Cafe Chardonnay! They also have an upstairs to rent out for larger gatherings.

Cafe Chardonnay made our anniversary so special. I made the reservation on open table and put a note it was our anniversary, they had the table decorated when we got there! Our waiters name was Mike and he was so sweet. The entire wait staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The only annoying part was the rude rich man at the table next to us loudly complaing to the manager and staff about everything so he could obviously get his meal for free. Absolutely none of his points were valid and I would highly recommend this restaurant and our waiter Mike! Oh and we got the yellowtail snapper and braised beef, both amazing. Drinks were ice cold and Mike even brought us an anniversary dessert!
