Really nice Building feel like a a hotel or country club, nice for socialize and meet people but I am really concerned about the gym floor setup really disappointed because they have everything no organized to hit body parts and also no enough mirrors to see the form specially in the free weight racks for squats. They just have one smith machine and one leg press load plates so for a big gym brand like this will be better to have a heavy duty equipment. Also I having a hard time for one female trainer (top trainer or director trainer NATALIA about my small bag I carry because I have my grips and my belt with my personal stuffs to hit the gym so she is no nice and I feel like she just go to me to tell me about the small bag on the floor when I see more people with small bags. And be aware if you going ti training with your couple or buddies because is not allow no even to help to pickup the weights. This Natalia Is really pain is the _%_# i am not happy With that situation. I paid 300 dollars membership to give me annoying time When i am relaxing time over there. The rest is all good. Pd: may be she is like that BecUse I am Latin (racist)

Now that the gym is open I will share my observations as someone who lifts weights and has been around the gym industry and held many memberships over years. For the amount of space that they have, the dumbbell area is an afterthought - far too small and crammed. The heaviest weights should really be in the middle and taper to the sides like 24 Hour Fitness has done. There are plenty of squat racks and plenty of bench-presses but only one smith machine. Out of all machines, there is only ONE shoulder lateral. Leg machines are decent but only ONE lying leg curl in the whole gym. There are only THREE lat - pull downs which is another flaw for a gym of this size with a membership base they are trying to reach. I’m told that more equipment is on order so in time I’m sure everything will be more accommodating. There is not a turf area for agility drills, sled pulls, etc which is really surprising. Cardio is what sells memberships and needless to say, MOST of the gym floor is cardio - plenty of variety so if you like that, its good, however, no fans on any of the machines. This is Florida and you’d be surprised how much a little fan makes a difference. There is plenty of natural sunlight on the gym floor which is appealing since other area gyms have, for some reason, adopted a dimly lit space. Locker rooms are nice with plenty of towels and personal care items but the recovery area which contains sauna, steam and cold plunge is VERY disappointing. The cold plunge at another gym I go to has done wonders for my back. This plunge pool is an absolute joke. It’s only 3 ft deep with steps on both sides which truly will only accommodate two or three people. The other club I go to is as big but is 4 ft deep without surrounding steps and will easily fit 6 people. Often times, members are waiting. This was a very poor design, enough to make me possibly hold onto my other membership. Rooms for classes are nice as is the rooftop pool. Cafe looks decent for a quick snack if needed. Overall, it’s very nice but some things were poorly designed. I’ll give it a month and see if anything changes. It’s close to a 5 star gym (I’ve been to many and seen better). I’d honestly almost give it 4 stars based on equipment selection and the plunge pool (With the price factored in) but will give it FIVE stars because customer service has been impeccable.

This Life Time is going to be INCREDIBLE! Very impressive Preview Center. They have a huge area for previewing classes, workout equipment and virtual tours of all the amenities in the resort. This place is going to be huge ….with a huge parking garage right next to it! When we arrived, the General Manager, Susan greeted us right away! She is so kind and you can see her engaging with everyone. She knows her team very well and has been with the company for a long time, so you know she will run a great resort. We were introduced to the manager team: Brenna who is amazing (Concierge), Catalina who is amazing (Operations), Natalia who is amazing (Personal Training), and Michelle who multi-tasked brilliantly, explaining the Kids Academy & Aquatics areas while playing with our 4-year old. My wife is most excited for the Life Spa after meeting the Spa Manager, Allisun! She showed us all the services they will offer at this full-service spa and salon. They are offering great incentives (including a fancy founding member bag & bottle) for joining early and becoming Founding members and the process was simple with no pressure. Thank you to Life Time veteran, Brian, who helped us get our membership. We can’t wait to start attending the Life Time in PBG when they open in mid-August! Also excited to be able to use other Life Time locations across the country since we travel frequently.

First visit did not disappoint! This place has everything, gym, classes, food, spa, lounge, kids club, pools and more. Great selection of items at reasonable prices at the Cafe. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great vibe. Decor feels fresh, neutral, and not overdone. Class rooms are very good size and are on their own floor. Yoga, Barre, Pilates, Spin and more are available. Locker rooms are spacious with private changing rooms, glass stall showers, hairdryers in wash area, and built-in locks on the lockers. There is also a steam room, sauna, spa, and access to the lap pool from the locker room. Review of the Kids Club was 👍🏻👍🏻 from the 4 and 6 year old girls I met in the elevator with their Dad. There is no shortage of equipment and space for any type of exercise you desire. Rooftop pools/lounge area is spacious with food/drinks service available. Plenty of lounge chairs and other seating (some covered area available). Schedules, reservations, menus etc are available on the LifeTime app.

I give this gym a 5 star, compared to other nearby gyms. Now, for where it starts to lose points. They have too many power outages to the point they close for the day/s. You would expect a high-end gym to have solar/back up. Nope! Bathroom: They only have one bathroom for men on the 3rd floor and someone is always blowing it up like the world trade. They should remove the water closet and just put a urinal. Equipment: Before I joined, I asked if they would have a Reverse Hyper V, belt squat, Racks with dead lift platforms, GHR and a few other things. They said yes to all. They do not have a reverse Hyper V, the belt squat chain is too long so you end up doing half reps like a “gym bro”, the hamstring machines they have does not allow for a full range of motion. During Alpha class there is only 3 usable rack and it’s a struggle to get one. Sometimes there are “gym bros” getting a pump doing curls for the girls on the rack. Staff: I must stay for the most part they are pleasant and professional. I have two exceptions though. There is a gentleman in the front that I thought was just very unprofessional, had a condescending and unprofessional tone when speaking to me. I just let it be, nor complained to management because I am not one to lose sleep over someone’s personal issues. But after a few months of attending, I noticed he does not carry himself in the same manner with someone of a different ethnicity. The other issue I see is that there is a male trainer that is a savage. He just hits on everyone and anything that walks and talks. By all means, if you want to use your profession to get some tail, go for it but be a bit more discrete about it. Kids club/area - This a great area and would be good if they were properly staffed. There is a shortage all the time so the activities on schedule are never available since there isn't enough staff. They need to either get more staff or update the activities if they are not going to run them due to lack of staff

Mostly I like this gym and the staff. The new 2 hour cancellation policy does not work for me. Sometimes especially in the mornings I do not know how well I may be feeling. And I also can be exhausted and work longer at my job on any given day. This is not flexible or considerate of the members. And with the price of this gym I hope they will change this and cope with realistic expectations of members. In addition to this I had a horrible experience with an open play of Pickleball on 5/4/23. All this open play required was that you take the introductory class and that was done on 5/2/23. I encountered more than one rude person and one women actually attempted to approach me when I asked her to please calm down. I did inform the manager that next time I will call the police and make sure this hostile environment is eliminated.

I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness for a few years at different clubs and was excited for this location to open. Nice amenities, but if you are looking to actually workout, this is not the place for you. The actual workout area is very small, and often taken up by classes. During prime time, they block off half of the gym and all but 3 squat racks whether the class is using them or not. Lots of people just standing around waiting for equipment. Many staff members are rude, and one trainer in particular makes many female members uncomfortable. He has been seen inappropriately touching clients multiple times and is unprofessional towards clients. There are some good trainers and it’s too bad they get grouped in with the bad. For the price members pay, hopefully we will see some changes.

If fitness is a major part of your life and you want to go to the best gym in the area this is definitely for you! They have top notch equipment and an incredible staff and facility. There’s also many other great gyms in the area depending on your individual need but this is almost in a league of its own. This is also the most expensive ‘gym’ in the area. Marketed as an athletic country club this is a get what you pay for type of place and then some. With a restaurant/cafe, a barber shop, and a roof top pool that speaks for itself, and too much more to get into… it’s worth checking out if it’s an investment you want to make. My rating is definitely based on the facility itself, what it has to offer, and not the cost, but this is truly the best in the area for what it offers (again depending on your needs of course). At the time of this review the member rate is $249/month for an individual if you didn’t sign up before it opened it’s doors recently. If you work in the area I know some companies that offer a discounted rate but 95% of us will pay the rate mentioned above. They do offer a paid one day membership if you want to try it out.

Excited for Lifetime to open. Preview center staff were professional and kind. Yes, we joined as PBG Founding Members. I've been going to gyms and studios over 30 years so looking forward to an upscale athletic country club experience.

This facility is beautiful compare to other Life Time facilities that I've been to in other cities/states. I LOVED this location more because the service was top notched, the members here are friendly, I had a great workout, and the amenities were amazing!! I feel so relaxed! Thank you Life Time PBG!!!!

Very nice place, new and clean. Have many amenities, 1st level consist of cafe, spa, lounge and changing room, thur the changing room you can access to the steam room, sauna room and indoor pool. 2nd level are all the classes and children dropp off area. Level 3 are the gym which have all the state of the art equipment and pickleball, level 4 there is the out door swimming pool which is super nice. Everything is nice...just the price is on the higher end side. But hey, what you pay is what you get ... higher price nicer things. But the best part for me is the opening hours, it's open at 4am for weekday and close at midnight. Which I can't find this else where. Might not matter to other people but for me I like to go there 4 to 5am before I have to get my kids out of bed for school.

Not just your ordinary gym, a destination. Best classes, equipment, café, and restaurant. Well worth the cost of membership.

After going to many lifetime gyms throughout the country; this one is the gold standard. For me it is worth every dollar we pay for the monthly dues. The workers at the club are extremely friendly and always helpful. Layout of the gym is very very nice. The most important thing to me is the cleanliness is the best. Other lifetimes should take note of how the PBG location maintains its club - Always immaculately clean (especially the locker rooms). Keep up the great work!

Beautiful & clean gym with a ton of great amenities and classes. My fiancé and I have been members for about a year now, and the main complaint among other members, and ourselves, is the GTX classes taking up half the gym during prime hours. Can we please find a new spot for this? There’s so many studios, and way too many cardio, a redesign of this would be greatly appreciated.

Having worked out at Life Time Fitness locations all over the country, this one is by far the most disappointing for one simple reason: the worst treadmills. They only have the dangerous tread versions (easy to trip while using) which are trying to data collect on members, and don’t even have a ledge for iPhones (should the user want to watch things on their phones). Having a solid basic treadmill is the easiest thing for a gym to get right, but this location fails.

My husband and I walked in to get information about joining Lifetime. The receptionist did not give a warm welcome, was downright rude (similar to reviews from others) and said if we didn’t have an appointment for a tour we were out of luck. Not a good look at your front desk giving first impressions to potential members Lifetime owners. We’ll stick with the gym right down the street from us where the staff is super warm, friendly and accommodating and we don’t have to deal with the commute to Lifetime, the packed parking and rude staff.

I have taken classes with Mary and Zion and they have been great! I enjoy Mary’s treadmill class. I’ve also got out of my comfort zone and took Zion’s Hip Hop class on Wednesday and I had a great time. Mary and Zion’s classes are fun yet challenging. I travel 45 min-1hr just to go to Lifetime and I love it there, I also bring my young children with me. They love jumping on the trampolines and they love the yoga class when offered. If I can ask for one/two things it would be if they can offer the themed Kids Camp in the summer which is offered at other locations and fitness classes for both parents and kids to workout together would be nice such as yoga or dance. However, there is so much to do there and I look forward to trying it all.

Great place but, many dudes walk around naked and having casual conversations in mens locker room. Cover your privates! Also no swimming lessons included in monthly fee which is exorbitant as is. Place is decent other wise

Nice gym! Could have been more clear on their friend passes. I'm from out of town. My friend has a membership and picked up a pass for me. I had to pay to workout, because they only work if you live within 5 miles of the gym.

We visit lifetime while on vacation and are made to feel very welcome. This is a great facility with an awesome staff, everyone I've encountered here has been very helpful with a great attitude. What a wonderful experience, Karissa setrin at the front desk is a great employee, very helpful and welcoming while multitasking like a top level professional,

Love lifetime! The BEST team member there is by far Jon… he literally works in every facet/Dept of the gym and goes out his way to make sure guests are taken care of! I look for him every time I’m there.

This facility is truly one of a kind experience, which goes way beyond a regular neighborhood gym. It offers top of the line equipment with variety of cardio, strength training, stretching, vibrating recovery, hydromassage, all kinds of abs tools and much more! The classes are also great, so do the instructors who push you to perform to the best of your ability. I am also happy they have a nice sauna and steam room, icy cold water bath and hot jacuzzi ( one in your gender locker room and one shared in the indoor pool area). The roof pool area has a feel of a luxury hotel which automatically places you in a vacation mode. I also love the food they have, especially downstairs. Very tasty and not too expensive. Front desk workers are always very friendly and polite. The only thing that is annoying to me there which has nothing to do with the gym itself, rather with mentality and education level of people, who you share such nice amenities with, is the fact that some ladies come to the STEAM room ( and sauna too) fully dressed with their stinky sneakers, socks and clothes on. They come after cardio work outs already sweaty and lay down or sit there while you sit next to them in your towel after taking shower trying to inhale mint or salt infused air and relax. So gross! And unfortunately some people speak and laugh with full voice in sauna areas where it's supposed to be designated for relaxation, so obviously no matter if you go to $30 la fitness gym or $250 lifetime you run into this nuisances.

The staff and other gym members have been nothing but kind and welcoming. Nothing like other gyms I've been a part of. I also enjoy visiting the sauna, steam room and cold water pool after my workout. My new happy place.

I’ve been a member since they opened. Very much enjoy the club. There have been some issues that do not seem to be getting better. - understand that this is not an “athletic country club” as they advertise. It is a nice fitness club. -Management picks and chooses which policies to enforce on which day for various members. Zero consistency. Similar management issues have resulted in significant staff turnover. -The staff is not empowered to get things done or make things happen on their own. For example, even if I point out a written policy, they need to check with their general manager to get something done. -while the team at the café & bar are wonderful, the food itself has declined significantly in quality. -

Shocked by these reviews. People are so rude and entitled around here! It’s a gym. The classes are awesome, weights area is smaller, the tours are hit or miss if there is an extra person at the desk, food is fine for a gym, clean for a gym. I have met some really cool people there and if you think the parking is bad, try living in an actual city and going to the gym with a car. The short walk from your car to the front door is good for a warm up. The roof pool is almost always empty, coffee bar area is really nice, there’s a cold plunge and a spa! Facials and massages, beauty treatments and hair dressers. There is a chiro but it’s way over priced, and the massage beds and compression boots are free. Pilates is extra. I really like it! Happy I found a nice gym.

Beautiful gym and amenities. I signed up for personal training with Aaron B and Savannah. I followed his plan already lost 4lbs in 2 weeks and starting to see muscle definition. Then i started working out with Savannah another personal trainer at Lifetime. She thoroughly explained each work out machine and taught me so i am able to use her work out plan on my own since I travel a lot. She ks amazing as well. Love this place. Highly recommend!
