    "I don't DO exercise". "I'm not a gym person". That was me. I was so self-conscious, scared to walk into a gym. Maz and the Ethos team took me under their wing. You won't meet a trainer with more empathy than Maz. I discovered that I love strength training and the confidence it gave me. They have an open and welcoming team. From nervous beginners all the way through to those who want to push the limits of what they can achieve. Ethos support folks through all stages of life and the different needs at all ages - my sister and I now go with our mum as well! And with events like their charity "Deadlift in a Dress" day for R U OK day, there's a great sense of community. They are such an inclusive and safe space. I cannot recommend them enough.

    I’ve only been a member for a few months after years of inactivity. Since I’ve joined I’ve been listened to, encouraged and looked after exceptionally well by Maz, Jack and the crew, and made to feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a tailored, small group fitness experience then this is for you!

    Trying to find a gym I feel comfortable in (and one I wanted to keep coming to), has always felt next to impossible until I found Ethos. From my initial consultation with Maz, I have been able to lose weight, build strength and self-confidence. The community at Ethos is friendly and welcoming, and all the coaches work with you and support you right throughout. Maz and the Ethos team have helped me work towards my goals, by pushing me to explore my strengths and work on my weaknesses. The small class sizes create a lively atmosphere and most importantly make you feel that you are part of a community. I would definitely recommend Ethos to anyone on any part of their fitness and wellbeing journey.

    I've had trouble attending a gym consistently but Ethos is set up to minimise barriers and empower everyday people. What a gem! Maz is a highly skilled pro and empowers me to keep achieving goals. Thanks Jack & team.

    My husband and I joined Ethos to start our fitness journey in July 2021, and since then our lives have been completely transformed. Maz, Jack and their team have created a space where members of all kinds feel safe and included, there are no 'gym bros' here - just small group classes with many laughs, great encouragement and personal focus and attention to each member's individual needs. I am so grateful to have found Ethos and to have them in our lives.

    I've been looking for the right gym vibe for some time, and I'm so glad I have found it at Ethos Fit. The classes are strength-based and run for a perfect 30 minutes. It just feels more efficient. I was really nervous about joining a gym after being inactive for some time. Jack (the owner) made me feel really welcome and confident about starting from scratch. Each workout was set up to make me feel good about working out again, and we've been gradually increasing weights and intensity at a pace I am comfortable with. The gym is very spacious, and equipment is kept clean and tiny at all times. The classes have a really positive vibe, and the regulars are very friendly and personable. The gym is located in the heart of Mount Lawley, with free parking options, and lots of cafe's and restaurants nearby for socialising after. If you are looking for a gym that doesn't churn through clients, this is it!

    Short review: Pros: Fun workouts, great attitudes, professional, knowledgeable, and generous staff, beautiful facility, price felt justified. Cons: No open gym time. Long review: Ethosfit is a group personal training style gym, with a small but well equipped facility, that runs short, small, group sessions. I really enjoyed the vibe and attitude of the gym; I've never experienced a gym that was so low pressure but still encouraged you to do your best. I felt instantly welcomed and like part of the team. The classes are short but relaxed - I felt like I could push as hard as I wanted to and get a good workout, but I never felt pressured. The workouts can be tailored, so if you want to go in and give 110%, or go in and have a mild workout to get your 30 minutes a day, both were fine and could co-exist. It is a bit more expensive than other gyms in the area, but that cost is justified. The staff are extremely attentive and the gym is wonderfully well equipped; even in a full class, there was more than enough equipment to go around. The staff went around to each person to encourage and give pointers. The lack of open gym time is what ultimately made this not the right gym for me as I need my own unstructured gym time for my goals, but Ethosfit's overall pleasantness made it a hard choice. This is a great gym for anyone who is new to exercise, who is coming back to exercise after a long break, who needs to cross training for other goals, or someone who's goal is just to be fitter in general.

    I start my day at Ethos Fit and feel great for it, clean and bright space, professional team and friendly community. Trust the process, I’ve only just started here and very happy with the results I’m seeing and how great I feel. So important to perform strength training correctly to get results without injuries, the small classes are more like personal training, giving me lots of confidence.

    I've always been intimated by gyms, but my experience with the team at Ethos made me feel comfortable to take on new challenges. Maz, Jack and Alyssa are awesome at delivering small-group, strength-based training programs that are still personalised enough to get the most out of them. I really value the supportive environment and as a result I feel more confident in all aspects of my life. Thanks Team Ethos!
