Wow! The service was terrible. The waitress was not on top of her duties. As I told her we would not have to wait to order we knew what we wanted. So she began to take our order and gave me a hard time because my baby wanted fruit for his 2 sides w/ his T-bone steak, she said that it didn't come with fruit as sides , I said I understand but could she maybe just bring the fruit she continued to make it more difficult so I just asked her to give him mashed potatoes w/ white gravy and an order of Mac-n-cheese from the kids menu which should have came w/ 2 sides ( being the fruit that he wanted) but he didn't get. My other baby ordered chicken fried steak and fries , I ordered a Patty melt. Well she didn't even bring the food out to us another waitress did who was actually very polite and helpful. Well I smelt my Patty melt and it was awful, it smelt spoiled. I sent I back because I didn't want an All American Patty melt. I wanted an original Patty melt Swiss cheese and rye bread. Well the original server comes over and asks how everything was I told her it was fine since the other waitress took my food back so they could correct it. Well she said she would make sure that it was done correctly and brought the same food out and all they had done was scraped the other cheese off which smelt terrible and changed out the bread on one side only. Lol the bread was burnt to a crisp the first time and when they took it back well a picture says it all.

I walked in at about 11:35 on a Sunday morning and there were about 20 people in front of me. 35 minutes later, I had finally gotten up to the desk. During that 35 minutes one table was seated, everyone else gave up and left. The restaurant was virtually empty. There were approximately five tables and two people at the bar. I saw two people working the floor, one was clearly a “waitress” (heavy on the wait!) but I’m not sure what the other one was. We also gave up and left at that point. This place should be shut down for incompetence. This is the worst Denny’s experience I have ever had in my entire life and we didn’t even get to sit down.

My Dad took my baby and I to eat at Dennys this late morning early afternoon and I was blown away by our experience. The whole remodel is very nice and breaks up the large space. Our server was hands down the best server I’ve had in North Platte in a very long time!! Her name is Chrissy. I can’t say enough about how great she did and had the most sweetest calmest demeanor. She offered to take my 2 year olds order right away and it came out in mins! It was a wonderful idea as she was getting antsy to eat. Our food was also ready in a timely manner and just as fresh as delicious as we had hoped! Thank you so much for a good experience!

Good food but service was slow due to lack of staff. Restaurant was empty at dinner but still staff was else where. Dirty utensils - a dab of water and a napkin cleaned them right up. My hamburger was very good however the regular fries had a slight soap taste. Paying the bill was awkward. The tip option were 18, 20 and 22% why not 15%??? Had to do some quick math in my head to figure the appropriate tip. What a pain! Will avoid this Denny's when in town next time.

Terrible service!!! Waited 20 minutes, the waitress never came even she saw me. One staff does all the work - cooking, customer service, cleaning and dishwashing. Terrible, would not recommend to anyone!

I went to dennys expecting a good meal but BOY WAS I WRONG. First I got it delivered so when it took 30 minutes I wasn’t to mad but it gets worse. My item had some weird green stuff on it and it made me and my family have food poisoning 0/10 if I could never eating here again!

10/31/23 I literally just had to leave this establishment without having dinner. They sat me at my table and gave me my drink. 30 min later not one server came to my table for my order. Saw a family come in and wait 10 min and a server came to take their order. The hostess and a waiter and waitress literally walked by me several times and nothing. After the family was attended to I grabbed my bag and left which the server and hostess saw me leaving and not a word. As I’m walking out I see a customer that was placing a to go order at the same time I was being seated receive his meal. After a long shift I was really looking forward to a hot meal and to say I’m very disappointed is an understatement.

It seems as though these workers are are purposely adding meat to my order when I specifically tell them not to. They put small amounts of it and I don’t understand why.. I ordered A Santa Fe skillet with no meat, no cheese and extra redskins.. Service is very mediocre, and as I was putting on my order someone came out and I guess that was the manager but whoever that was made me feel uncomfortable with stares. Wasn’t very welcoming at all and I did not like the energy that was around me. It seems now in days you don’t always get the service you’d hope for as well as your food being prepared with care..

I was a little skeptical after seeing all the bad reviews but our experience wasn't bad. Food was decent. My only complaint was that the cucumbers and lettuce in my salad weren't very fresh. KC was the only server and was also hosting. Only 1 other girl in sight and she was just standing or walking around with her cell phone to her ear while he was going HIGH speed. Even with all this he was very friendly, competent and profesional. Just felt management should know. A+ to KC! He is what made our visit.

I've eaten at Dennys all over this country. This one is top three worst in America. Food was cold excuses where given food was remade still cold. I had the brisket bq sandwich it was not only cold but burnt, and dry. Will never come here again.

I eat each of them, Yes, and do not make more than 1500 dollars, always leave me a tip today girl. Just refused to serve because I was apparently not in the mood, so I must stay hungry this is the last time I went to Denis and left a tip

Hostess table said ring bell for service, we rang, 5 minutes later still not seated. Value menu cleverly removed from all tables. Food was good when it eventually got there.

I’m a new trucker and today waitress Peggy has made my first truck stop Denny’s experience amazing , she was nice , attentive and came with a comically personality which was comfortable to say the least. I’m amazed at how she was able to assist multiple customers at one time under the circumstances of a back up due to orders. I really appreciate her and feel as if she doesn’t get enough credit at what she does so well. Although the food could have been a tad bit better than expected I enjoyed my visit. Thank you Peggy for the Denny’s experience.

Althoughthey're food has always been tasty, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest struggle you will probably face is just getting somebody to seat you. Expect to sit at the front waiting to be acknowledged for a good while. Don't recommend this place if you're in a hurry

The sides came on the plate in their own little bowls, and the steak was properly cooked well done as I ordered it. It had a nice flavor and there was no part of mine that couldn't be eaten. No gristle. Even the small amount of fat was chewable. The steak was dry, but it reminded me of how my mother prepared it, and the flavor more than made up for it. I had a soda refill during the meal, so all in all I give it two thumbs up. I would eat here again.

We in about 10:45pm on Saturday 10/21/23. There was only one waitress and one cook. She had two tables of two and a guy at the bar when we arrived. Shortly another couple walked in. We asked to have our toast and fries early. She admitted “my cook is stressed back there, but I’ll ask.” We essentially said don’t worry about it. Right after that a party of 15 teenagers came in. Waitress helped them push several tables together and get seated. Ourselves and the other couple decided to move our tables. The waitress was very gracious about this, as she had been all through. Then, a couple of guys came in, separately. She apologized for the mess and indicated for them to seat themselves at the bar. She continued to be attentive, considerate, providing great service throughout our entire meal. The meal we were served, despite the stress the cook was surely under, appeared and tasted perfectly delicious. This team deserves some recognition! I mentioned our recent bad experience at another local diner and the waitress mentioned that we can come see her anytime, except Tuesday & Wednesday. 😊 Admirable service!

09/04/2023, Labor Day: This is an outstanding restaurant! My sister has a wheat allergy, and she informed the waitress when she placed her order. The waitress was very attentive to that, and made sure the food was safe before serving it. I had a chicken fried steak with fried red potatoes and the veggie blend, all of which tasted wonderful! The waitress said they were short-staffed, but that did not affect the quality of service we received. Perhaps a little slower, but I've worked in food service, and I could tell that nobody was lounging around.

We only ate at this location once & our experience was very nice. Interaction with hostess & waitresses was easy. Everyone was helpful, polite & service was prompt & efficient. Food is typical Denny’s & everything was fresh & tasty. Even though it was a dinner time, my husband had a moon over hammy breakfast sandwich (has been my personal favorite at Denny’s through the years). I had mushroom Swiss burger, which was accurately customized. It seemed like it was hardly any cheese on it, but it was enough for me. Based on this visit, we would return.

The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because kitchen time was a bit slow. We were the only table there at the time,and we ordered 4 meals. It took about 45 minutes to come out. The food was great though ! Our waitress was great. By the time our food came out, she was getting pretty busy for being the only server.
