Update: They are back open! Went again and the food was good as usual. Every time we go, the food is delicious. And who doesn't like a diner vibe. The portions are huge and there is always enough to take for leftovers. The staff is always friendly and the prices are actually not bad. My husband raved about the meatloaf and the mashed potatoes and gravy. I had a bite and I must say it was delicious. Not every place can make great gravy in my opinion. My brother-in-law came from out of town and we took him there and he wanted to go back another night. We tried to go the other day but they were closed for renovations. I'll have to check to see if they're open again.

UPSIDE: Great throwback building design. Atmosphere is wonderful. Friendly staff. Very diverse menu. DOWNSIDE: It was our first visit. Waitress was nice, but could not get her to bus the table. Table was constantly covered in finished plates and empty glasses. She's being refills without being asked but ahead left the empties. Desserts came over five minutes apart. OVERALL: Fun place. Decent good. Will definitely go back!

First time eating at the Boulevard Diner, so when I saw Crazy Bird Sandwich on the menu, I had to try it ...blackened chicken breast topped with baked crab dip & cheddar cheese on a kaiser roll. All I can say is it was really good. And the French Fries were perfect! Very friendly staff too.

Classic Baltimore Diner. Very clean and busy. Everything is fresh. We had a great breakfast here with great counter service from Sabrina. Good coffee. The skillet…Just order the skillet! Hot til the last bite. Delicious

Was told about this restaurant from my fiance who used to live in the area years ago. We were visiting friends and family so we stopped in which was my first time and I can't say enough about this place but if I could give them 10⭐they deserve it. Food was Excellent. I couldn't finish my meal and had no room for dessert. Had to take over half my meatloaf (Hot Rod) dinner with me. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was awesome for a 50's style establishment. The decor was not what I was expecting. They also have mini jukebox's at the table's for you to play.

It’s important to remember that it’s 5:00 somewhere so you won’t ever have to wonder if you should order the Merritt Mary. You most certainly should have one every time you go. It is my favorite Bloody Mary in the city so far. Others are good but I assure that the grilled Bar-B-Q shrimp on the top along with the other fresh veggies & pickles make this one truly special. For me this drink and the warm reception makes this a five star diner. I could live without the Elvis sound track but it is a diner! By the way, I have ordered desserts first just to make sure I have room. They are on display when you walk in and you need to have some. The plates at this diner are filling. If you’re not a big eater plan on a to go box. Breakfast is our favorite although I order lunch or dinner. I can make eggs so always get something I’m not likely to make. Today I ordered the Neptune sandwich which is a crab cake, shrimp salad + BLT club! Okay don’t judge me. It was good and hardy. I took half to eat later because the Merritt Mary is 22oz. So let’s talk about the wait staff— top notch! Attentive and responsive. Watching them can make you dizzy because they swirl around the place getting every little thing you want with your meal & they remember the regulars.

On our way home from NY to NC we took advantage of our last chance to enjoy a real diner. This place is perfect inside and out. After pulling ourselves away from the dessert case, we selected meatloaf and chicken cordon blu from the extensive menu. Both were massive, beautifully presented and delicious! Everything we had was delightful! We took a piece of chocolate peanut butter and red velvet cheesecake home, yum! Service is wonderful! My car fob fell out of my pocket and wasn’t discovered until getting home. They mailed it to me right away. The Boulevard is well worth the trip. It will be our go to when in the area. We would love to have one here!

I've been here several times since I moved into the community. The food here has been excellent every time. I've chosen something different each time. The prices aren't bad either. I will try to start stopping in here more often. The sizzling skillet was excellent.

This place has gone down hill. Family came here for lunch .. the Alfredo sauce is watered down, no one could eat their salads tasted like dirty lettuce, shrimp and fish were burnt… appetizers were only good thing. Shrimp salad wrap was nothing but nasty tasting lettuce with like 5 shrimp in it No flavoring at all on anything!!! Spent $170 spoke to management didn’t even apologize let alone take anything off my bill!! Never again will we be visiting this place!!

Loved the Greek omlette. It was a nice, plump size with a few side options included that rounded out the plate. Complimentary fruit or tomatoes & lettuce substitutes are offered instead of homefries. Pancake stacks are large & fill the whole plate. Hollandaise sauce is made in-house. Didn't order coffee, cannot speak for the quality of the roast. The service was very good. These ladies truly earn their tips esp during the busy brunch rush. Wait time for a table was on point, about 15 minutes. Nice atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Ample parking.

I ordered sour beef and dumplings and Maryland style crab soup. The soup didn't taste right. I asked the server to take it away. The diner was very packed today, and the service wasn't very good. The server didn't ask about the soup or offer more. I was definitely not happy about that. She wasn't attentive to our needs and even tho my sour beef and dumplings was amazing the overall experience was over shadowed by this incident.

This Diner is really good. The food was excellent with big portions for not a huge amount of money. Becky our server was absolutely fantastic! She was warm and friendly. She always smiled at her customers and was very attentive making sure our coffee’s and waters were full, and we were happy with our meal. She checked on us frequently without disturbing our conversation or meal. The food was authentic Greek cuisine as well as straight diner comfort foods. Several of the dishes on the menu had notes that those dishes were on the food network. I’d give this place a 5 star rating all day long if it hadn’t been for the employees behind the hostess stand. I put my order in and seconds later I realized I forgot to ask her to substitute my fries for hash browns. There were three ladies behind the hostess stand, a server with long dark hair, an older lady that I was told later had been there for lots of years and the thin tall hostess who was very friendly and attentive but had to walk away from me to seat some guests. I wasn’t impressed when I was standing there, the 2 ladies were talking to each other, saw me looking at them from the other side of the counter they were behind… but refused to acknowledge me at all. They simply acted as though I was not there at all. Because my career for the past 30+ years has been in fine dining restaurant management, I know what people should be doing and saying to give excellent customer service and, this was a big drop of the ball in my opinion. I was in a little bit of a hurry to get my message to Becky before she put my order in but, I could see that the ladies were going to keep talking to each other rather than me therefore; I had to interrupt with “Excuse me…” You would have thought I spit at them both the way they looked at me. If looks could kill, I would not be able to write this review right now . They didn’t say “Yes, can we help you?” They just stood there looking at me like I was being rude for interrupting them!! That should never be the case when a customer comes from a table and walks up to the front to ask a question. That incident put a big damper on my review stars. Becky has been there for 16 years and is the perfect example of stellar customer service and friendly warm interaction with the guests. When the hostess returned to find the other 2 looking at me like I offended them, she asked what she could help me with. I told her, and she was just as friendly and willing to help me get the message to Becky. She didn’t have even a trace of attitude, just pleasant vibes. It’s a shame that happened because, I really thought my server, the hostess and the delicious food deserve a five plus rating! Maybe next time.

It’s a shame when you order breakfast and your drink is warmer than the food served. I had a very sad experience on 10/22/22. To come into a restaurant or diner and be served cold breakfast food and charged full price that should be the sign of the times, honestly fire your cooks and quality control manager. Those plates shouldn’t of left the line cold. Plates should always be at least warm. Cold plate, cold sunny side up eggs, scrapple raw on both my main platter and the extra side, home fries way undercooked and the raw onion made it worse. Even the toast was cold. Like come on……. Sad.

The portion amount was great. But staffing was light. A 50's theme.

When I was a kid, growing up in Baltimore, we went to the classic diners like Bel Loc, Double T and Overlea. Those same years, my grandfather would make me cream chipped beef on toast for breakfast. This is a great homage to those legendary diners and that sort of diner food. Give it a go, you won't regret it. (My dad said his burger was as good as my plate).

We stopped in to eat before an event at my son's school. The portions were big, the service was great and the staff was friendly. My son got shrimp salad and the shrimp smelled rancid so he didn't eat the majority of it and it also tasted funny.

The food was just okay and the service was good, but I probably won't go back.

Nice place to eat. Service is kind of hit or miss, but I always get a patty melt on rye with Swiss cheese and fried onions and it is AMAZING!! My hard to please kids love the chocolate chip pancakes, you can't go wrong with them!!

The food was actually delicious 😋 granted we all chose breakfast so I can't comment on lunch or diner. The desert was also very scrumptious. Give a chance, I prefer this place over Honeybee.

Philly CHEESEsteak without the cheese and a tuna MELT with no melt? This diner was cool to go to for the atmosphere and Elvis statue but they could not get our orders correct. Server was great but you maybe shouldn’t go there close to closing time as they will cook your food as quick as possible and it may or may not be what you order.

Loud, needed a good cleaning and new window blinds. Calamari was horrible and chewy. I had small order of sour beef & potato dumplings wich was good but I wasn't even given bread or a roll with my dinner. I basically ate the salad that came with it. Also when it says a small order it was VERY small. My daughter had soup and 1/2 of a meatball sub. She ate the soup and chips but couldn't even pick up the sub with 2 huge meatballs. We took most of our food home and fed our dogs. Kind of sad cause the place use to be great... Disappointed for $42 dinner. Not worth that plus the tip. Service was great though ...

Came in on 4/8/2022…. Sat at the booth right behind Elvis.. I had a young man as my server. I don’t want to mess up his name. He was the only male server while I was there @ 9:50 am. I had 2 eggs over medium x Home Fries x Canadian Bacon. It was delish. My homefried needs peppers and onions in them. I love home fries … Thank you… I will be back

This place definitely has style! It's got that old 50s dinner feel -- probably because it is! The food options are plentiful and the staff during our visit was helpful and patient. The food quality can be hit or miss at dinners. I'm happy to report my meal was properly cooked. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes -- the inside was cooked through!

All the food we got had no flavor. Baked potatoes were not baked, but microwaved. Imperial sauce and crab dip were just a cream sauce, no seasoning and thin. Our server was great and tried hard to fix things. No manager came over to talk about it, so that's why the review.
