Very neat and quiet, not to mention loads of different stuff! The staff are always friendly to myself and my son. I lived in Charlotte county for years and never knew about this location until the one in Port Charlotte closed and my sister told me about it. *Edited* I also want to include my experience in the meat department. MANAGER'S SPECIAL! My first time EVER cooking steak and my man said it was perfect!

Absolutely need better customer service orientated cashiers, like ones that actually like the job versus one that is doing you some huge big favor checking you out when you go to pay. A overall attitude adjustment is very much needed here. Otherwise great last minute grocery store !! Bring your recycling bags for your items, otherwise you need to pay up to a dime for one bag.

Not exactly saving a whole lot while shopping over there these days but overall,. It's a good store. They could maybe put more effort in training new employees though.

While I lived in North Port I frequented this store a lot. I love their prices and I don't mind trying no name brand items on canned or bagged items. I highly recommend

Very nice place and very clean but not a lot of selections at the store, all the employees were nice except one of them she is very rude once a kid poked a watermelon and then charged the mother triple times of what the water melon costed she won’t let anyone touch the stuff she put on the shelf she’s not just mean to kids but adults to I dont know how I feel about coming back

I like it because it's convenient and they do send out excellent coupons every month. If you see them then KEEP THEM & USE THEM! Milk can get expensive but those little cut out coupons help big! Be sure to read the fine print. There's a $10 minimum for using coupons but you'll get a gallon milk for example. Well worth it. . Other than that down side is after all the gaining popularity of generic shopping Save-a-lot is not so very "savealot-ish" anymore but still it's there for us close locals in warm mineral springs. It's them or DG across the street and that place is the absolute worst, dirtiest, empty shelves, rudest ugliest manager disrespectful unorganized inconsistent dollar general around. Especially after most of the everyday guys all left after new manager hiring. (Frank, Ronald, Sara)

Cashier was wearing perfume that I am allergic to, I told another cashier if I could check out in another line because of it, she let me but the one wearing the ungodly amount of perfume told me " I should wear a mask"! Because of this INCONSIDERATE cashier I will not ever shop there again! The North Port store.

Shop here quite often, as it's very close to home. Today, I needed to pick up a gallon of 2% milk, something I normally don't purchase here, as it averages $1.25 higher than any other local supermarket. There was a full cooler of 2% milk--most with an expiration date of TODAY. Did some searching and did find a gallon with an expiration date of two days from now. It's too bad they charge so much more than their competition. Guess they'd rather throw out many gallons of milk than sell at a fair price.

This is a pretty good store. I love the fresh meat selection a lot! keep it up! For the most part, the store is well supplied, but has a limited list of items. I think it can introduce another island, there is enough space in the store, and add a few more items, and perhaps another employee at the check out counter.

Nicest Save a Lot I have ever been to. Very good prices on many common grocery items.

It's similar to Aldi's! A nice clean and neat store. Wide isles, fresh produce,🍌🍊🍒🍋🍉🌽🥕🥔🥒🥦🥑🍅 fresh meats🥩🥓🧀🍗 & dairy. Items are easy to find. Friendly staff! Bring your own bags or you can buy the plastic bags for .10¢ each. Paper bags are .5¢. Oh, and another thing, lots of room for parking. Bus stop out front of parking lot. 😍 I bought the bakery blueberry muffins, absolutely, 💖 them !

It's ok,generic labels, you have to pay for your grocery cart 25cents and your grocery bags,if you want generic cheap food then this is your store,I must say the staff is very very friendly and courteous..they do have some deals, worth checking it out,😁

Familiar format with wider than usual selection. Attractive prices compared to Walmart, Leidel, Publix, etc.

Up until today I have had good customer service today the man running the register was very rude. The store is very convenient to our park, but with prices significantly higher than Aldi , I will be rethinking where I shop. (Ex. Eggs were 6.59 dozen at Sav a lot and 2.99 a dozen at Aldi just one example)

At first I wasn't too sure about shopping at Save-A-Lot it kind of reminded me of all these and Dollar General mixed together but now I do find myself shopping there often and I have no complaints whatsoever

If you hate a crowd you will like this place. It's never busy when I go. You bag your own groceries and you pay for the bags. So bring your own. This used to mean your groceries were cheaper. But they have raised their prices so much that some things cost more than Walmart. Check the meat carefully before you buy. It's hit or miss. The weekly specials are usually a good deal. Don't forget to bring a quarter if you want a shopping cart.

You have to be careful here. Some items were priced much higher than in the grocery stores like Publix, but some items were less. Nothing new about that.

The prices are great. You can tell they have someone cutting their meats because they were amazing. So good job to them as well as the staff. Store is clean an well stocked.

Nice store ~ i find their produce to be overpriced unless it's on Sale.. the meat is comparable, price-wise & quality- wise w/ other stores.. The store is clean & well- organized & the Staff is friendly.. Being your own bags (even if they're plastic) so you don't have to buy any.. You used to really be able to save a TON of money at Sav-A-Lot , I used to regularly shop at the one in Sarasota but it seems that their prices have really jumped, just like EVERYWHERE else.. I mainly like the convenience of this Store (bike-riding distance) and shopping here won't 'break the bank'! Check it out!

Nice store with good prices. Selection is somewhat limited, but the more they have the more they'd have to charge. In these days of being hit with Bidenflation fair prices count. Prices compare favorably with Wal Mart. Takes the sting out of Brandon's loss of purchasing power.

I am still concerned about register four not handing out a readable receipt. What would be the purpose to still use this register when the register next to it is readable? I have brought this to the attention of the cashier for months now and nothing changes. Other than that love the store.

Very rude. Kelly broke was rude. I was asking a question about a customer's bags and she gave no response. Then I mentioned about the shopping cart to my wife about the coin slot in the and Kelly b said it's better then put you food on the floor. First and last time going there. If you don't like what you are doing for a living fine something else.

The place is never busy so grabbing that item you forgot at the grocery store is painless. Clean place, friendly staff. The only thing I don’t like is the produce being a hit or miss item. They quality of the bell peppers weren’t that great. I think I scored the last good green pepper today, Sorry!!!!
