I have been visiting Dr Philip Song for around 10 years now. From the beginning, I got the impression that he had a genuine passion for being at the forefront of dentistry breakthroughs and best practices. I remember him and his colleague (I think it was Mark) having unofficial competitions between themselves on thier breaks, to find out the latest and greatest in dental technologies. They were/are dental nerds! They seemed to be one of the first to invest in the technology to make crowns on site, which means you don’t have to have them installed over multiple appointments and saves a huge amount of time. After ten years of visits, the level of skill, passion and care I have experienced here seems to have only continued to grow. Dr Philip listens carefully, his manner is calm and caring and he makes patient comfort a priority. He is gentle, friendly and always walks you through the treatment steps. You get the sense that he is a very high level professional (and his credentials back this up), more like a craftsman rather than a dentist just going through the motions. I moved to Melbourne and attempted to find a local dentist there but the first one didn’t seem to care very much and did a relatively poor job with an on-lay, and a second one I tried seemed good but was extremely expensive. I ended up deciding to travel back to Sydney every six months to continue with Dr Philip. As thier pricing is very reasonable, this ultimately saved me multiple thousand dollars in one day of treatments and this way I also know I’ll always be receiving the highest level of skill and care. Dr Philip went out of his way to check in with me following the treatments to ensure everything was fine before I flew home to Melbourne, offering to take time out of his weekend to ensure I was sorted should I have needed an adjustment. It wasn’t needed in the end as the treatments were conducted flawlessly (I’m pretty sure I’ve never once needed an adjustment from Dr Philip). But the kindness and care offered really is next level. If you are looking for a dentist you can genuinely trust to do the best thing for you, you’ve found the place. I can’t recommend Dr Philip highly enough. From the odd occasion where I have seen the other dentists here, they have all seemed wonderful too and I would guess are highly vetted to be the type to offer a similar level of care and expertise. The receptionist and therapists are also all kind, welcoming and friendly. The North Ryde/Macquarie practice location offers quiet parking right out the front or is a 12 minute flat walk from the nearest train station. Inside it is immaculately clean, tidy and there is comfortable seating, water and bathroom facilities available should you need them.

Excellent dental office!!! I was traveling from the USA and on the way to Sydney cracked a crown on my tooth. I called North Ryde Dentistry as it is located not far from the hotel. Luckily, they had a cancellation and could see me right away. I found the office very nice and clean, all personnel friendly and helpful. The dentist fixed the crack, was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable, it took him 20 min to fix my tooth. Overall, very positive experience!!!

Nini is absolutely the best, she transformed my teeth from an ancient looking stone to natural human teeth haha .. she’s amazing amazing amazing. I love the team over there, Nini, Kiki, Sammy and Izabella. We love you guys heaps. I highly recommend the place. Like super highly.

I have never had a regular dentist before, but after visiting Dr Song and all the wonderful staff at North Ryde Dentistry I am never going anywhere else. My last visit with Wise dental was a complete nightmare and horrible experience. I have been trying to search around locally and finally found North Ryde Dentistry. Staffs and dentist were very professional, gentle and careful with cleaning. It has been hard for a few years tried to find a good dentist replace my local retired dentist. Since I’ve been here in Australia, Dr. Philip has been taking care of my teeth with great care, gives me multiple helpful tips to keep them well and healthy. Dr. Philip and his team has been very hospitable and very trustworthy and will not miss a beat in giving you the most comfort and worth of your time as much as possible. From the door, Michelle will greet you with a big smile, asks how you are and goes through the process as swiftly, informative but in not a rush way. During your procedure you can even have a chat with his team as they are very nice and welcoming. Up until the end of your appointment they will make sure you are comfortable and feel safe and welcomed in their establishment. I recommend North Ryde Dentistry to anyone and I mean anyone that needs a very good dentist and wants to feel comfortable going to a dental establishment.

One of the best experiences we had, vibe, professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, commitment, work and passion. Those guys are absolute legends. Nini, Isabella and Kiki. You have no idea how much fun we had at a dentistry !! And no happy gas was involved haha. We love those guys. Nini was gentle and very informative, she knows what she’s doing, and she’s also hilarious. Kiki was a sweetheart and absolutely sweet, and Isabella was cheeky in the most good fun hilarious most polite way and absolutely funny. And with all that fun !! They did their job one million percent and to perfection. I highly highly highly recommend the place.

Dr Song is an artist in his field. Dr Song and his team made quick, gentle work and provided great advice for my future needs. Ms Park at the front desk was bright and friendly, which made my experience there very pleasant. There is a great team at North Ryde Dentistry, you can't go wrong going there for anything dental.

Having visited my fair share of dentists.. I took a gamble visiting Dr Song as i moved to North Ryde chasing for that local gem. I usually write reviews for restaurants, never had i imagined i'd write one for a dentist. He and his team are hands down, the best in the business. Dr Song is sincere with his approach, not haggling for an extra buck- But always looking out for his customers best interest. Hoping him and the team will be staying in the area for the long haul, But if you do move.. i will probably follow anyways. :)

I’ve always had a great experience with our regular dentist Val, and Dr Song when more complex work is required (tooth removals). The practice is run very well with sufficient booking times so they never run behind. Val is exceptionally friendly and is always incredibly gentle but thorough.
