This is a nice local park in North Tonawanda right on the shore of the Niagara river. there is a large playground, picnic areas and a porta potty. There are two pavilions and fishing is allowed. we just made a quick stop here and I enjoyed watching the ice drift by on the river.

Nice park right on the water off River Road. The memorial area is worth a visit for sure! The park is in generally good condition although some areas are starting to show their age. The dock/boardwalk inlet area often clogs with debris espicially in the early spring. It tends to be taken outof service the fall of each year. I have seen people fishing here. No boat launch in this park (are others available in the area).

Very peaceful park right on the Niagara River. Beautiful view of the water and shady enough to enjoy in most weather. Shelters to space for a picnic to even enjoy a meal and camaraderie of friends and family. Porta-potty always available and a bathroom service area available seasonally. Many even fish from here too! Highly suggested for those who like to read too - great view and usually fairly quiet. The memorial wall is very powerful and many of our fallen soldiers are recognized for their service. History can be learned as one sits and listens to those who visit.

A hidden gem of a park with all the amenities you expect: benches, picnic tables, memorials, pavilions, restrooms, playground, etc., and a Niagara River view. This park is frequented by people on lunch break, fishermen, and concert-goers. Two negatives: the main parking lot has very little shade for vehicles and a small inlet harbors trash.

Park has Pavillions ,ample parking, and is an excellent fishing spot. There are porta-pottys, but no actual restrooms

Very nice little park for picnics or fish. But they they should clean the middle water area up. Where all the garbage gathers up in the water from the river. Overall pretty nice park.

Park needs a little love - but it is strategically located on the bike path as well as on the creek with a very nice kayak launch

Monuments are beautiful although they could benefit from regular maintenance and cleaning (the whole park could). Much more peaceful than gratwick park.

This is a really well kept little park, with a couple of pavilions (one nicely separated by an old slip and trees), a playground, an exercise round, and a small performance stage. It has a fishing walk on the slip, and plenty of covered space on the river proper, right off the parking area, making it easily accessible for those with mobility issues. While I have never attended, it seems like they do free movies and concerts over the summers, and have a nice grassy area before the stage that has a slight hill that would give those in the back a good view. If you want some quiet space near the water, this is a really nice place.

Nice park commemorating Navy Seabee and Marine Memorials. There was a flip book catalog where you could look up the veteran’s name.

If you like to fish, read a good book, take in sights or just relax by the water, this park is fabulous for all this and more. Tucked away on River Road near the water treatment plant in in view of the Navy Seabees Memorial and the Marine Corps Memorial, it's a place that gives you the opportunity to experience family picnics and relaxation.

This is a nice but small waterfront park. There are often activities here for kids: music and plays. There is a playground, picnic pavilions, and memorials. Good place to see the fireworks.

A nice quiet little park along the Niagara river. They have a couple big shelters for parties, a pavilion for live bands, exercise activites or other events. It's right along Niagara river but all along the shore it's only used for fishing. If you're a workout enthusiast you'll like that they have those outdoor workout stations, not the machines, just wooden ones but I love using them. There's a playground for kids also and a decent size parking lot.

Love walking our dog here Always a beautiful site

  • 4/5 Kurt K. 3 years ago on Google
As a retired Veteran I like seen these areas kept very clean. I don't wanna see anybody drinking excessively in any of the areas of the park and there was. There needs to be more police patrolling through out the entire park. And pay attention to what people are doing.
