So this is going to be a relatively thorough review, because road biking is an important part of my life. I have road biked for over forty years, and so have some legitimacy to my views. I have used many repair shops, the latest being Caps and Bicycle Sports Pacific. I have been dissatisfied with both, for varying reasons. Caps is a rough operation, trying to intimate that it is run by bikeys who are hardcore, and therefore don’t have time to be professional or maintain a professional environment. Some of the staff are friendly, many are indifferent at best, and maintain an air of “were so busy, you’ll be lucky to get your bike when we tell you”. Needless to say, as a mature adult professional, I find this tiring at best. Bicycle Sports Pacific is gigantic, but all too often doesn’t have the right size of socks, helmet, or any chain degreaser on hand. They are also pricey beyond merit, and the front desk service is sluggish and always on the phone (to be kind). Now to a wonderful surprise and positive experience. I decided to try the relatively new Giant store in Langley, as I like Giant bikes as rugged enough for the rough roads here, and yet still fast and smooth enough operating to be a great ride. On arriving with three bikes (two trail, and a road bike), I was professionally greeted by the service manager and an assistant. They were pleasant, engaging, but laid back enough that no hard sale or up sell were apparent (which I always find highly annoying, as I know what I want, and what matters). Their prices were very reasonable, package options were bang on for covering anyone’s needs, and they made the whole process easy. I declared that I wasn’t in a rush as the weather was still cold and inclement, so they quoted a bit of a long turn around time, but to be fair I had a pretty full pile of work, and wasn’t concerned at the time. That changed with unseasonably warm Mid-March weather, and so I phoned in a panic (wanting to get the road bike on the road in the worst way), and was informed that they were still waiting for a part to complete the repair. I pushed a bit, and asked them to try and call/rush the part. It couldn’t be done, BUT, the service manager found an interim part, and it was ready the day I called!! Now THAT is real service and going beyond the normal (no shot that would’ve happened at CAPS or Pacific, or nearly anywhere in any business in this day and age. Absolutely fantastic! To add to the service, the young man attending when I arrived for pick up actually helped me take the bikes to the car. I can tell you that NEVER happens anywhere else, EVER. It may seem like a small thing, but small things added to together become something great and special. The bike performed near perfectly on the first ride, and the wheels were absolutely true (for once, as most repair outfits think they know how to true the wheels, and hardly even come close). Very gratifying and satisfying. My only criticism is that they also are often out of large size socks, and chain degreaser, but hopefully that will be quickly corrected. All in all, a literal five star experience. April 6/2019: Had another great experience today at Giant in Langley, where the fantastic staff and manager tuned up some stretched cables and helped me with picking out the best biking clothes I’ve had in fifteen years. Thanks again for another great day of service everyone!

Customer service lacking.... First time I went here, I asked about a bike through email and they said they had it in stock I replied saying I would drop by a few days later. When I arrived at the store, they don't have the bike in stock ok fine, but they could've told me that the model would sell quick through the email or offer to hold it but nope.. just sorry out of luck when I arrived. So I asked if I could put a deposit this time and hope to get a bike... that was about 8 months ago... They said they would get the model I requested in January, January came and went... No update from the store or anything I had to email them for an update, they say it's delayed for another 4 months.. So here I am still waiting on a bike and they still have not given me any updates and I had to reach out again.... Just a pretty horrible experience... may get a refund and go with another brand. Edit: finally got my bike

We purchased two Giant bikes three years ago in North Vancouver location at cost about $1500 each. The guys refused to provide us a service even at full cost because we purchased it in different location. Same story in Giant South Surrey. So basically you buy a bike with no service. Never buy Giant again and do not recommend it to anyone who looks for a good service. Very rude personnel.

Great service! Brought my bike in and they fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. Other bike shops around here are so busy and pricy, it seems like Giant Langley is flying under the radar! Great stuff. Thanks for the work on my bike Chris!

Recently purchased a LIV Intrigue E, in the Langley store. Bambi was helping me out. I am 5.2 and the Giant Trance E in small is still too large for myself, but the Intrigue is basically the same bike with a smaller frame and the same 29" tires. They had a medium Intrigue in stock on sale but also slightly too big. But Bambi sourced a small from the warehouse for the same price. Picked up the bike a week later. I returned two weeks after purchase to pick up some lights and when I arrived Bambi greeted me by my first name. Great customer service, and product.

The staff here are excellent and very helpful. Chris is very knowledgeable and super helpful with any questions or issues. My bike purchase was smooth and easy, and Chris put in a lot of effort to make sure I was able to get the bike I wanted in the size I needed (finding an XL was difficult). Any issues after purchase have been dealt with immediately and beyond expectations. Communication from the staff here has also been excellent.

Had a hard time trying to find a D-fuse adapter for a rear rack for my revolt, thought I’d try the Langley store. So glad I did! Could not ask for better service anywhere! The store manager gave me 2 of them for free! He wasn’t sure which one I needed. I live in Penticton, but go to the coast quite often, I can say I’ll be bringing my bikes there to get them serviced! Hard to find good service like that.

I bought an e-bike Revolt e+ pro from here in March 2020. In couple of months I had issues with the motor. It kept on shutting mid ride. Giant Langley was there to help. There was a bit of back and forth with Giant as the warranty was from Giant. But they kept on following up with Giant, and got the entire electronics system including motor replaced. Haven been a happy rider since.

Had a good experience with them today.Took my nephew's BMX for some adjustment and they where so graceful to spare their time to do a quick fix on the spot and charged me nothing.Right from the time we walked in to the time we left was patronized by Beatriz and i would strongly recommend her and her team for all the sales and service needs. Thanks Giant bikes

I'm an avid cyclist and finally decided to pull the trigger on a cargo E-bike for some family fun. After doing some research I wanted to check out the offering from Momentum (Giant). Chris and his team were super helpful, friendly and low pressure; everything you could ask for from a bike shop. I'm now a proud and extremely satisfied owner of the Pakyak E+ and its a ton of fun! I will definitely be going back to Giant Langley for any future bike related needs, wants and desires : )

Best Giant bike shop in the lower mainland Chris knows his stuff when it comes to bikes and accessories and goes out of his way to make sure that you are satisfied.

Had an amazing experience at the shop. Got my Giant Talon in for a flat tire and Bambi was super helpful, even have a tutorial so I can do it myself next time. Will definitely come again for anything my bike needs!

Chris is amazing and helped us find the perfect bike for our daughter’s birthday and helmets for both of our kids for Christmas. He helped us find the safest option for their sizes and I appreciated his passion for bike safety. He’s definitely got our business for all our bike-related needs!

Chris and Jeremy were really great, friendly, know what they're talking about. Chris had my bike ready as soon as I walked in, I asked if they had a kickstand, they suggested one and offered to install it right away, while I was waiting I asked about saddles , Jeremy showed me what they have, and again offered to install it on the spot! Great service guys, keep it up!

I bought my bike there las weekend. The staff was really helpful and friendly, without been too pushy. I went for a ride today and I’m loving my bike, super smooth ride and has a good power. Definitely recommend Giant/Liv.

Best customer service I've seen! Bought a new bike a few months back, I knew exactly what I wanted and they just happened to be a shop that had a bike my size in stock during the Covid shortage, but nonetheless Chris was very friendly and helped me get everything I needed. Took the bike for a test ride one day, then called the next day and said I would swing by after work and buy the bike and Chris had it all freshly tuned up and waiting for me. Fast forward a few months and I took my bike in for its first tune up, called beforehand and was told that there was about a day turnaround for bikes. I walked in and Chris remembered who I was and that I didn't live in the area (all from a short conversation he had with one of many customers literally 2.5 months before - impressive!) and offered to tune my bike right away so I didn't have to come all the way back to Langley to pick up my bike on a different day! So I just went to a coffee shop for a bit, came back to grab my bike and no joke I didn't even have to go into the shop. Chris saw my car pull up and by the time I got out he was waiting on the curb with my bike ready to go! Honestly, I would have had no complaints had I needed to come back a different day for my bike, or had to go inside to find someone to get my bike from the shop, but man, it's the little things that really make a shop like this stand out. Huge kudos to Chris and the team and Giant Langley!

Living in kingston Ontario, buying a bike in Langley B C. Due to the the high demand for bikes in the co-vid times, I was unable to get my new bike in kingston. I found the bike I wanted at Giant Langley, I delt with Chris and everything went great from ordering the bike to it being packed and shipped out to me, fantastic customer service and quality to detail in packing my bike. Even had a tee shirt thrown in, had a small issue with a missing part. But was sent a replacement without hesitation, thanks so much to Chris and Tyson. Will not hesitate to make another purchase at Giant Langley. Loving the bike

My go to bike shop. Have had them tune up my backup 29'er while they did everything they possibly could to find me a replacement frame for my Giant Yukon. Thought the frame replacement would cost more than it did. Great work at a good price. Ps - Very nice staff here. I could tell they felt my pain when my main bike went down and the replacement frame was nearly a year away. It was obvious they were almost as happy as I was to get me my Yukon back.

Great experience going to Giant Langley, awesome customer service helping size bikes for my kids. The first bike we bought here has been passed down through all 4 kids and still going strong 7 years later.

Called to inquire about a specific gravel bike. The man who answered the phone was completely rude and disinterested. Told me it would be June 2022 for any bike I and that he had nothing in store to even look at and from his tones he could care less. I know we are ALL COVID fatigued, but when a 2 minute phone call can make you say "never will I give my $ to a business" that says a lot.

Tyson was awesome helping us pick out an E bike (or two). He had a friendly, casual approach to sales with no pressure but he absolutely gave us all the information we needed to make an informed choice. The bike(s) we purchased was the explore e+1 pro, it was the only bike we found that had every feature we were looking for and at the price it seemed like good value compared to other bikes we had been shopping over the course of the previous two days. It was not the lowest price but seemed like the best value for the money. I would whole heartedly recommend shopping this store.

Bought my son a bike at this location. Great customer service and really patient. Pretty decent value for money. Equivalent bike from Trek would probably cost me $100 more and Giant had a bell AND kickstand at no cost Too bad they don't have a lot of inventory due to supply issues with bikes in general. Otherwise, I would've bought my bike from them as well.
