The best Shahs halal food out there !! I don’t know what it is about this specific shahs location (wantagh) but their food is always so fresh and so good, the customer service is the best! the chicken is cooked to perfection and always packed with flavor, the salad bar is always fresh and clean. I come here at least 3 times a week!

Finally a Shah’s near me! The chicken and lamb is seasoned so well, tender, and not too salty. If I like the lamb that’s saying something bc I’m generally not a lamb fan. The rice here is what keeps me coming back, each grain cooked perfectly. Their mixed salad is very fresh and delicious. Will definitely be returning! PS- they’re on Uber Eats

Ordered 3 combo platters, chicken and lamb. I specified the ingredients in the Ubereats order, all 3 combos had the incorrect ingredients. I called the store and spoke to the owner, he stated to bring them back to be replaced. We had already eaten out of them, and It is not worth my time and effort to bring it back. That is why I had it delivered. Will never give them any business again. Owner was not very pleasant..

I never leave reviews but These guys are hands down the absolute best halal spot in NY & I’m not over exaggerating. Don’t believe me? Go try it for yourself, you will be guaranteed to come back and leave a 5 star review just like myself. Food is flavorful, customer service is on point & they pack out your plate with fresh quality ingredients. A well deserved & honest 5 star review!

1st of all, i knew i was going to like this place just by the guy behind the counter. He must have been 1 of the owners since he's so happy to see you & proud of his food. & the chicken and lamb over rice did not disappoint. Excellent & plenty of it. $11.50 for platter & Snapple.

I rarely post anything negative but need to at this point.Last week we ordered through Uber Eats and the food was great. Last night we ordered the same thing and it was disgusting. There was so much sauce on the food, it was inedible. I requested the pita be heated and one piece was ice cold. We tried caling and the person claiming to be the manager said he couldnt find our order even though we paid by credit card. They completely lost our business. I physically became sick from the food. Never again!

They are open late and definitely worth the trip. They are always fast friendly and experienced. The hot sauce is good and hot, I usually go with just one stripe of it.

Great service and fresh tasty food! Everything was on point! If you are like me and appreciate a new halal choice then try this location out. Try the chicken and falafel mix over rice with extra hot sauce ;)
