Love coming here I visit every other day when I'm passing through on a ride out it's got various walking routes one of which is through bignalls wood there is a clearing with a big sun dial and a small abandoned building that's been fenced off. There is even a small bench down by one of the lakes/pond whatever you'd class it as if you fancy a small break from walking

Staunton Harold Estate has a beautiful walk around the park. It has a church with private property. You can do sun bathing on the grass only if it is sunny. Car parking must be paid £2. There is a cafe.

Visited the grounds immediately surrounding the hall. Absolutely beautiful place. Great for a walk with your four-legged friend. Juno loved it 😍. Will be back to explore the lovely little craft stores on Ferrers Avenue. You can get a cup of tea at the restaurant in Staunton Harold Garden Centre.

Staunton Harold Hall stands in a small valley 5km north-east of Ashby-de-la-Zouch. To the east the park is partly bounded by the B587 road from Ashby to Melbourne, and to the south-west by a track. Otherwise the boundary follows field edges. The area here registered is c 90ha.

I love going to The Ferrer's Centre at Staunton Harold, checking out the gorgeous offerings from local artists. This time I picked up some earrings, some little little puffin ornaments and a handmade ceramic planter in the shape of a conker. I also had a lovely lunch at The Stables and a wonderful walk around the Estate. We even popped into the garden centre - well worth a visit!

It's a Gr8 House and Estate and the grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. The groundsman must spend hours maintaining the gardens and the lawns. The church on the estate is nice too. I always look forward to sitting in the grounds it's a beautiful place to be X

Staunton Harold is a very tranquil place for a lovely walk anytime of the year. There is also the Ferrers centre, with local produce and great craft shops. The cafe is very reasonable, food and drinks are tasty and well presented. There is also a garden centre with a very nice restaurant/cafe. Toilet facilities are in the garden centre and in the Ferrers centre. The church at Staunton Harold is amazing, with a fantastic painted ceiling and the old Victorian seating. Well worth a look, it is only open on a Tuesday and Sunday, though. It is a dog friendly place too. There are a lot of benches around, a wonderful place for a picnic.
