Beautiful place to have a wander and enjoy the beautiful setting. We also loved the Little Bluebird Cafe which was a converted horse box selling amazing coffee and cake the perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying the beautiful sunshine Easy to park with toilet facilities

Great place for a walk. Lots of benches to sit around the lakes. We fussed lots off doggies too. Has good car parking. Clean toilets with hot water and the wonderful Little Bluebird Cafe. £1.50 for parking all day.

It is a very beautiful setting all year round. I'm an avid walked and one of the pro's for Sense Valley are the gravel paths. After a downpour of rain or snow, the walkways are still accessible and provide necessary grip. I have been going for two years and everyone I come across is very friendly and the park is kept very clean. With two free car parks as a bonus, its a lovely place to visit for some fresh air and exercise.

Lovely place to walk, well maintained & good services. Paying for parking can either be done by machine or on a mobile device.

Never been before, parked at the top car park and walked down to the lake. Large selection of wild birds and even cormorants on the lake. Better for a picnic at the lower car park by the lake. Visited recently and was disappointed with the payment system for parking. RingGo. Whilst I do not disagree with the need to charge £1.50 for parking, the non provision of a touch and go card payment or the apps inability to deal with a PayPal or Apple pay account means unless you have your debit/credit card with you means you can not park. Visited 18th March 2022 toilets open at top car parking area new card payment machine installed by toilets.

Really enjoyed our walk here today, plenty of parking, toilets and snack van at top car park nothing at lower. Plenty of well marked walking trails, you could easily traverse with a pushchair. Plenty of benches, a few of which are covered, which came in handy for us two oldies! Well signposted for areas accessible to bikes and horses. The perfect destination for a nice dog walk, we clicked up nearly five miles, but did go back over some ground.

We had a lovely walk around the country park. And really enjoyed a coffee and cake at the Little Bluebird Cafe in the car park.

Nice small venue, enough for about an hour walking. Joggers, cycling and dog walkers enjoying it and it's 8 degrees in January. Best part is Sally's Little Bluebird mobile cafe! Friendly, great choice and good prices too, recommended 👍 The small lakes have lots of bird life. Will return in the Sumner..

Only explored a small part of the park as we doing a circular walk which took in part of the National Forest Way. There’s plenty of parking, which costs £1.70 for all-day parking. Worth noting the parking fee is paid by app, or card, only. The paths were well maintained and the park very peaceful.

Great place for an easy and quiet walk past several small lakes. Good, well maintained, level paths and generally tidy surroundings. There is an upper and downer car park if you want to miss the one long and steeper incline, but otherwise, nothing really taxing. Great for dog walkers, but please pick up your dogs mess to keep it all as tidy as it was today!

Great place to visit, lots of trails to choose from, so you'd never get tired of seeing the same thing. As it's a fairly young and developing site and it will only get better and better. Lots of birds, insect and wildflowers already in abundance which is great to see. As a first time visitor I'll definitely be back there soon.

Oh my goodnes what a wonderful place this is!!! It has everything you wish for in a park: lakes in between the pathways and the patches of forest, the woodland has lots of trails for exploring and thick threes. The main pathways are clearly signed and they take you around the whole park. There are few bridleways so if you have adventurous doggies just stay clear of those. The lakes are deep as well but there are few places where they have shallow ends if you want to let your furry friends dip their paws in. When you type in Google for direction it will take you to a pay car parkhowever if you drive further down you can park on one of the side roads and enter the park from the sides. Definitely must see 🥰

Love the park, you can do short circular walks or keep going to have a longer walk. Popular for all ages, with made paths, good for dog walkers, bird spotting. Lovely to see cormorants. The parking payment is a little annoying because you have to pay by card, no cash. Lower carpark has no phone signal, so app paying doesn't work, upper car park you can use card. Not bad at £1.70 flat rate for the whole day. Car park has huge pot holes, so take care.

It's a lovely circular walk. There are picnic tables. Unfortunately the grass is so long you can't get to them. There are toilets in the top carpark. The pay machine is in both carparks. There is a converted horse box. She sells hot and cold drinks and cakes

Lovely quiet walk. Car park £1.5 for 24 hours. There are two car parks. Toilet, pay and display machine and coffee shop located at the top car park.

If you're after a peaceful walk this is the place. It's a very large park with wonderful views. In summer it is worth taking a picnic as you can easily spend a whole day there. The car park cost at the minute is very reasonable 😀

Very pleasant walk around ponds, woodland and meadow. Easy walking from bottom car park or a steep down to start and up to finish from the top. The cafe at top looked lovely but seemed only to offer drinks and cakes. The dog had a great time

What a beautiful spot for a walk with or without a dog, there no bins on the walk though, just one in the car park. Make sure to get a coffee and cake at the Little Bluebird Cafe whilst you're there too (it's in the car park).

A nice walk with a gravel track around most of it, but be mindful that around the less walked side of one of the lakes the path becomes very narrow and unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. The trailer/cafe is very good and parking £1.70 for the day.

Lovely afternoon out, great place to take kids and dogs. Just wish there were a few more sign posts around the place. Car parking charges are pay by phone only.

Lovely place to walk your dog. Science valley has open water and some paths are steep, if you don't like steep paths there is a bottom car park, walking is easier from there. You do have to pay for parking. The top carpark has a coffee hut, selling drinks and snacks. It's one of my favourite places to walk my dog.

Nice place to visit. Just a shame that some of the dog walkers who use the zig-zag path don't clean up after their dogs, presumably because it's more secluded. Paths around the lakes lovely with lots of birds to watch and listen to.

Unfortunately since changing over to a pay and display car park I won't be visiting on a regular basis as I used to. It's £1.70 to park (fees were added to use the app)which soon adds up as we used to go everyday, It was difficult to get signal to download the app, when it was download it took another 10mins to actually get signal to complete the steps as the app kept freezing. It only has the option to pay by phone which is extremely frustrating, it was lucky one of us had a credit card with us as it was asking for card numbers, I used to enjoy coming here it's a shame as this has really put me off. And I'm 30 so not a novice when it comes to technology incase anyone was wondering. Avoiding for a while.

I walk my dog here several times per week as its 10minutes walk from my house. It is a lovely walk around the lakes, back fields, and forest areas. It is very tranquill and full of wildlife. Love this place.

Nice calm and relaxing walk. A few lakes with ducks and swans and some nice places for photo opportunities.

A lovely walk, toilets at the top car park. Pay daily parking or an annual very good deal. I go regularly. Its big enough to never seem busy even if the car park is full. Unlike say Thornton reservoir.

Been coming here since the trees were saplings. Got busy over lockdown, but quietened down again now. They have also recently started charging to park. Not too bad at £1.50 though
