Yes, your child will learn to swim and become confident in the water. However, they hold the kids back in their levels for far too long instead of moving them up to challenge them at the next level. Instead the kids are no longer learning anything at the lower level. There is zero communication between the instructors, on deck supervisors, and management/ownership. Our swim instructor had informed us that our child was ready for their evaluation while the on deck supervisor disagreed. 2 weeks later our swim instructor recommended again that our child be evaluated to move up to the next level, only to be told again that our child is not ready. As other reviews have stated, it’s a cash grab. They try to keep you in the previous class for as long as possible to keep you enrolled longer and/or they just don’t have enough classes/instructors in the next level to accommodate your child so they come up with some excuse to keep your kid in the previous level. Our family has had enough. You’ve stopped challenging our child and they are no longer learning anything. I suspect others feel the same.

I am giving this place a 3 star, The swim instructors and most of the front staff were very pleasant. My daughter learned and felt comfortable with Coach Scott. Who was switched from her class, a couple months in. (be prepared this happens very often, they rotate their staff often.) Management however, does not seem to be on the same page with their team. I had issues from the start with misinformation, such as my child being potty trained and what items she is required to wear. Throughout the sessions, there continued to be miss communication. There was a female staff who was very rude when I asked for information on private lessons, that actually made me not want to go forward with it. I would hear parents complaining of the same issues and management never giving a solution to the problem. We canceled as of recently, went through the process, spoke directly with the manager and they still charged us for another month of sessions. They claimed they did not receive the form. I am currently waiting to see if this is rectified. We won’t be returning. That’s for sure.

We love Aqua-Tots North York. My two daughters have been enrolled in swimming lessens for 10 months now and we are very happy with the progress they’ve made and the confidence they’ve gained in the water. The flexible schedule and the chance to have make-ups if you miss a lesson due to sickness or vacation is very helpful. The kids love the nice warm water and the friendly staff and they always look forward for their next visit. The instructors are well trained and professional. I like that they have a curriculum and specific skill sets for each level and that you can see your child’s progress in the skill chart. Great staff, clean facility and convenient location all in one place.

The staff are great, they greet you by name when you enter, they are helpfully with scheduling, we are very happy with the service. The location is clean, the water is warm, the coaches work well with my two boys (5yr and 2yr). Coaches are encouraging, they keep the kids smiling, it’s been about a year now, my boys look forward to going and honestly so do I. The one time my youngest melted down in his lesson he was handled very well, they even kept him engaged. The kids never seam to forget about the small treat the staff have for them after each lesion, I swear my boys can’t want to get that lollipop. My family always takes advantages of the family swim, we get to jump in the pool for some free time with the boys to play and practice with them. Watching the boys progress thought the skills, helps me feel better knowing they are that much safer this summer. The only criticism I can offer is once a while there is small line up for the shower.

I love this place! I am soo pleased with the staff! They are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I recommend coming here for all of your kids' swimming needs. We have both kids with Aqua-Tots swim schools in North York, and it has been amazing to see how they progressed in eight months. They learned new skills and an interest in swimming. I also want to compliment makeup classes, it is a great option if you can not come to class for any reason you can book another time for the makeup class.

Since joining AquaTots almost a year ago, we've seen a huge improvement in our son's swimming skills and confidence in the water. The facility is clean and spacious with individual shower and changing stalls. The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful! We love that the coaches provide feedback after each lesson, and we have the ability to book make-up classes if ever we miss a regularly scheduled class. We are very happy with our experience at AquaTots North York.

From our very first lesson, the staff here have been amazing! No matter which coach we had, they each gave such care and attention to helping my child progress. The smaller class sizes also allow for greater attention to details/techniques which allow for greater progression and confidence. I have always recommended Aqua-Tots to any family that is serious about helping their child learn to swim. Their front desk team are also very helpful and accommodating.

Trainers/instructors are polite, which gives the child right environment to learn new skills. Other features which are shaping my positive opinion: Pool cleanliness, punctuality of class timing, flexibility to change/cancel classes using the mobile app, and make-up passes for cancelled classes which remain valid for two years ! Overall, very satisfied so far.

We started swimming with Aqua Tots since last September and already seen great improvement after two months swimming here. My daughter loves her coaches and the classes. It made her love being in a body of water without fear. I can’t wait to continue swimming here and see the future progression. Aqua tots is also very accommodating when it comes to rescheduling and doing make up lessons as there are so many uncertainties when it comes to a toddler. Overall we love the experience with them and would definitely recommend Aqua tots to any of our friends and family!

My kids enjoyed going here. It's a very nice, clean & well kept facility. Everyone was quite nice and seemed to want to help parents. I would of kept my kids here if it were closer. Prices are reasonable and they have deals every now and then. Definitely recommend to family and friends. Oh, and they also have one of those bathing suit drying machines which is convenient so you don't need to wrap wet bathing suits in towels. Definite plus!

We are extremely happy with our experience at Aqua Tots. My child is having a great time learning and thriving every lesson. The school is also very accommodating when situations arise and makes everything easy. The app is also a great idea. As a parent of two little one's, i am always on the go. We've sent both our kids to Aqua-Tots and couldn't be happier. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The instructors are patient and really attend to each child's level. Our little one was really afraid of the water and they were empathetic to his fear and helped him overcome it. We also love the flexibility of being able to easily reschedule lessons through their app!

It’s difficult to express the joy my husband and I felt as we watched our son finally take the leap to his instructor on his first day at Aqua Tots. Firstly, bravo to the staff who were able to get him in there after multiple attempts. Next, a big shout out to his instructor who was patient, caring and made the whole experience fun.

I really enjoy bringing my son here. He’s been here about a year now and we haven’t had a negative experience. He’s taken classes with many of the coaches, like coach Paula and coach Daniel, and has had a blast! Would definitely recommend Currently he’s with coach Melissa and he’s thriving. She’s such a good, supportive coach and he’s learning so much. We love coach Melissa’s class. Aside from the awesome coaching staff and the friendly front desk staff, I can’t say enough about the app and the cancellation system. It’s so easy to cancel a class on the app (no questions asked), and it stays on the app for make up classes. It’s just as easy to schedule a make up class on the app. As a busy single parent, this is exactly what I needed.

Aqua-Tots swim school has been a great place to introduce swimming to our daughter. We started in Aug 2021 in Ottawa when my daughter was 8 months old. We started in Level 1 and once my daughter turned of age, we moved up to Level 2. Aug 2022, we ended up moving to Toronto and were so excited to have found this location to continue our weekly swim classes. My daughter recently transitioned from Level 2 now to Level 3 (now goes in without me). The classes are small so every child gets plenty of 1 on 1 time with the instructors, and there are many classes during the week that if schedule doesn't work, there are many options throughout the week. The instructors so far have all been fantastic with my daughter. And the staff at the front desk and manager are always welcoming and present when we are there for our classes. Definitely recommend trying out their swim classes here at Aqua-tots!

Great place to take the kids to learn life long swimming skills. Lots of instructors on hand and very professional. FREE trial for the kids before you sign them up, ( if needed ). Very clean and inviting pool. * Clean changing rooms and showers. * An area to blow dry long hair after swimming. * Even a mini spin dryer for small items. * Clean spectator areas around the pool to see the kids. * Yep you guessed it right, clean glass 2 see through as well. * And payment? Reasonable I'd say. * Very professional staff and instructors. * What else can i say? Well we're happy with our decision to use their service and would recommend. This little boy went into the swimming zone with his group and seemed sad/nervous The first thing i noticed his instructor did was play with him to get him comfy and relaxed while the other kids in his group waited for a bit. After a few moments the little boy was in smiles and ready to start his lessons. That was when i went over the moon. Just seeing this got me very comfortable. Very thoughtful 👏 .

Excellent pool to get your children swimming. Great people great coaches except.... DO NOT TAKE CLASSES WITH COACH BOGDAN. He forced my kid into the water and because of that my kid doesn't want to be in the water. Do not pay attention to the class routine, you on your own. This is not the first incident, my friend 3 years old kid came in first time to swim and got coach bogdan, kid will not come back because he is scared that coach will push and force him into the water. Overall this is excellent place to be

My daughter loves her swimming classes and won’t stop talking about how much fun she had at aqua tots. She’s very shy but she seems comfortable with all her coaches. All the staff are kind and cleanliness is 100% I highly recommend!!

I have had both my children attending aqua tots since they opened their doors. The service has always been good, clean and professional. The coaches have become senior leaders that work with my children almost one on one in classes of 3. When city programs opened up, we went back to the city however they were challenged more at aqua tots and we returned. We know that at one point my son and daughter will have to go to a larger pool, however till then we will take full advantage of the lessons.

This has been such a positive experience for my son. He has some fear of the water, so the community centre programs we tried first, were not the right place for him. Here, the instructors are so well trained to deal with young children, and their fears, that in the first class here my son completed skills that he hadn't in an entire 12 week session at the community centre. The instructors are very good with pushing the children to progress and move through their fear, while still being very respectful of their fears. The saying of you get what you pay for, is very applicable for us. And Aquatots is worth every penny.

My children and my nieces, ages 3-5, have been enrolled here for the last 6 months or so, and if I could give this place more stars, I would. Three of the four kids have progressively built on their skills and developed a sense of pride in their abilities and future potential. While we are so proud of this progress, what is most impressive to us is how they interact with our highly anxious son. Every week, without fail, the staff show up with unparalleled patience and empathy. It is a beautiful thing to watch. They know when and how to challenge all four of the kids, and when to hold back for the sake of building trust. Even more impressive is that they all work together so collaboratively, stepping in for one another when a child needs some extra care. My only regret is that we live so far and can only come once a week. If we were closer, we would be in a few times a week. HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Aqua-Tots. What a Dream Team 🫶🏼

We’ve been attending aqua tots since it first opened. We have an older boy who turned 11 at the time of this review and a little guy who is now 2.5. Our smallest learned to swim here, starting from less than a year old. It was a little unnerving at first. To be honest, I wasn’t immediately sure a child that young needed to learn how to swim. But soon I realized the importance. From day one, aqua tots has the safety and well-being of your child(ren) in mind. Teaching your young child to swim to the side of the pool and pull him or herself out. Getting to know the owner of this branch and so many of the instructors has been a great experience. I can say honestly that this is one of the few activities both of my kids are always looking forward to.

Aqua-Tots Swim School is quite organized and kid-friendly with clean and tidy environment. All the CS representatives are nice and helpful especially Jessica and Rebecca! They always have smiles to greet everyone. The Coaches are professional and experienced especially to Ali, Jon, Max and Tianyi. They are fabulous and have lots of patience to teach! I highly recommend the parents to send their kids to try! Excellent 👍!

We have been taking our son here for a couple years. The staff are always available and happy to help. The instructors are knowledgeable and the smaller class sizes allows for more 1on1 time. Flexible schedules make it easy to fit classes in when we can.

Aqua Tots has been an amazing experience for both my girls. They started in January 2023 and both have been doing so well. The instructor my girls have is so good with them both. My oldest is always so excited to go and counts down the days until her next lesson. My youngest started when she was 13 months and was so scared and nervous in the first 2 lessons but now has confidence and doesn’t cry anymore. She feels safe and it’s so good to see them both advancing and actually learning a life skill.

Aquatots swim school is a great place for children to have fun and learn as well. My son is always excited to come and practice his swimming skills since he really loves the water. It is a great skill to develop since it can save lives.
