We knew we wanted our wedding rings to match and we were tight for time as we wanted to get married on our anniversary last minute. My boyfriend and I were starting to shop for a ring. We went to some retailers and browsed online as well. Didn’t find anything within our budget that caught my eye. When we walked in to Hollywood Diamond, I did not have any pictures or drawings ready. I’m not familiar with the custom jewelry process so we were just in for a consultation. They have so many setting options. They’re also very knowledgeable about the market and what the popular styles are at Birks, Tiffany, etc. Thach is probably the most patient person I have ever met. From the setting to picking the rock, I had soooooo much back and forth but he always had a smile on and patiently waits for our decisions. After a good 60 minute session, we nailed down on a design I liked combining a few elements I have seen. That day, I went home and drew some pictures of what I had envisioned. And the ring turned out EXACTLY like I had hoped! We couldn’t be happier.

Thank you to the Thai family who provided my fiance and I an excellent experience at Hollywood Diamond! I had already (surprise) proposed to my fiance with a placeholder ring - the next step for us was to start shopping. We heard about Hollywood Diamond through word-of-mouth, and thought we could sit down to educate ourselves about diamonds, as well as try on some settings. Thach and his wife had the patience of saints to sit down with us for 2 hours to educate us on the 4 C's of a diamond, lab vs. mined, sizing, settings, literally any question and concern we could think of - Thach took seriously and alleviated our thoughts. Overall, it was a very pleasant, low pressure experience and to seal the deal, the pricing was unbeatable when we compared to online retailers. The cherry on top was that we were visiting from Vancouver, and Hollywood Diamond was able to get the ring completed for us in 10 days! That's unheard of, and we are grateful to the Thai family for going above and beyond.

I recently went to Hollywood Diamond to have a dark stain cleaned from a gold watch (a precious family heirloom). The watch is never worn but I always want to ensure it’s in perfect working order. I asked for it to be serviced as well as cleaned and they explained this might not be necessary. They kept the watch for cleaning and monitored how it kept time. They called me two days later to let me know the stain was removed and the watch didn’t require servicing. I greatly appreciate their delicacy while cleaning to ensure no gold was rubbed off (looks perfect) and their honesty in letting me know the watch was functioning properly, no service was required, and only charging me for the cleaning. I will definitely return to Hollywood Diamond in the future. I highly recommended them!

Very happy with the results from Hollywood Diamond. We had an heirloom ring resized. Although there wasn't much material left to work with, they were still able to pull it off and clean it all up! Ended up buying the wedding bands too! Shows you how good customer service can come a long way. Although I only had Google search knowledge, Thach was very patient in showing and explaining to me the differences in rings. Will definitely go back for cleanings and would definitely recommend for anyone in the market right now.

The nicest person ever!! I went to them today because my ring was too small and I needed it cut right away. My finger was pretty swollen, I gave them a call in the morning and they asked us to come in. The guy at the store is one of the nicest and kindest person ever. He was gentle and tried his very best to cut the ring without giving me any discomfort. He also offered to polish my ring for me. We would be coming to him for all our jewelry needs from now and will recommend his store to everyone. His jewelry collection was great too! He is the best and the sweetest. Hollywood Diamond were superb throughout the designing process all the way to the end. Cindy helped me picked out the best engagement ring according to what I had in mind, and even more! The engagement ring was designed with smooth bevel around the diamond to accentuate the rock. The box that the ring came in was of a quality. It came with a tiny LED light that shines directly onto the diamond. It was more than I could ask for, and more that I imagined. Thank you!

After a decade of dating I was searching for the perfect ring for the engagement. Mr and Mrs. Thai were able to educate me on the characteristics of the stones, setting and band to build the ring. The finished ring ended up being very fast. The box that was included was a very nice box that lights up ! We had gone back to get the ring sized and for my fiancé’s initial visit, Mr and Mrs Thai briefly explained on the paperwork as well as care of the ring. Mr Thai also showed the differences of the clarity and colour of stones under the lights to my fiancé. Overall, we’ve had a very pleasant and informative experience at Hollywood Diamonds.
