My experience at Meridia Medical has been absolutely excellent every time. The receptionists are professional and caring. They provide great service. The space itself is clean, open and quiet. You can tell there has been investment made into creating a thoughtful and nice space for patients. There are many nurses staffed in the clinic who are professional and kind. I’m a very nervous patient and Dr. Gerber was so kind and understanding. I was getting my IUD replaced and was referred to Dr. Gerber by my family doctor because her patients have said good things about him, and I find that to be my experience as well. This was my second IUD and my first experience was quite horrible, but with Dr. Gerber I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure and it was quick and easy. I wanted to edit this review to add that Dr. Gerber provides local anesthesia for IUD procedures which is not common practice although these procedures are very painful! Aesthetic should be common practice due to the pain, but it’s not. It’s for that reason and others that I feel very strongly about his level of care. Afterwards, I was given time to recover in the clinic and they gave me tea. It’s the little things that made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Meridia Medical for women who need to see a gynaecologist. I will definitely come back and I’m happy to have gotten a referral after having to wait a long time due to the backlog created by Covid closures. I think Dr. Gerber truly cares about providing good service to his patients. He called me on a Sunday with some test results and books clients as early as 7:30am to address the need for gynaecology due to the backlog. It took some time to get an appointment but that’s true for healthcare overall in Toronto right now.

I recently decided to terminate my relationship with this office. I've had negative experiences with Dr. Gerber and the office staff are incredibly rude and unreasonable. When I addressed the recent suspension of Dr. Gerber's license the office staff wrote to me "Our patients still support him due to his quality of care as he goes above and beyond for his patients. If it was true, we would not be allowed to be open and running at all. The courts always take patients side before physicians." I'm not sure pleading no contest to such claims and then saying "if it was true" is the right way to defend yourself.

I have been seeing Dr Gerber for over 8 years now, and I can promise you, you are in great hands. Him and the nurses are kind, caring and take the time to answer any questions even if they are busy as hell. He took care of my IUD, referred me to a great surgeon due to an ovarian cyst, I always felt truly taken care of, even during scary times. Yes, your appointment might be delayed the day of, but it's a small team and they put patients first. Worth the wait. Thank you for making a safe space for women.

I was referred to Dr Gerber by my family doctor. He was very kind and thoughtful on my consultation appointment. The RN and Dr Gerber explained everything to me thoroughly. Got my appointment for IUD when my next cycle started. On the day of appointment I was very nervous about the pain. But he was very calm and friendly. I was expecting much discomfort. Surprisingly, he was done within a minute. There was very mild discomfort that I thought it was just cleaning but he was actually done. After confirming the position of IUD with ultrasound they asked me to lie down and offered tea and cookies. The cookies were also very good. Would definitely recommend Dr Gerber and the team.

Dr. Gerber has been my doctor for over three years and I’ve had a wonderful experience. I’ve had my mandatory procedures done by him, which were done very professionally. While they can be a little painful, he’s ensured I am comfortable each time. If you’ve been referred to Dr. Gerber, you are in good hands.

My experience with Dr. Gerber was great! I had a procedure done with him yesterday and his team were very friendly, warm, reassuring and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by informing me of all the steps being taken during the procedure at all times. I experienced little to no pain and the procedure was completed fast without any complications. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking quality care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gerber's for years and have always had a great experience. Him and his staff are very kind, knowledgable and respectful. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Gerber dosent explain what hes doing and why, its kind of awkward.. ive explained to him many times that ive been raised by men and really need help understanding my body and he dosent elaborate on anything and i end up giving up on asking questions, leave feeling defeated, a bit violated, and with many questions unanswered. They always do tests for things, i never get results. Additionally they canceled my appointment through email and rescheduled it for 6 months later. when i emailed them back saying i need to be rescheduled sooner than that because im pregnant, ive had no response for over 2 weeks. This is just redicilous.

I received the most exceptional care from Dr. Gerber and his team of nurses. Dr Gerber's bedside manner is wonderful, he made me laugh and calmed me down during a procedure I was very nervous about. I experienced no pain, they were very fast and efficient, and I even got a cup of tea in the recovery room. I honestly wish Dr. Gerber was my family doctor!!

Dr Gerber is an exceptional doctor. One of the best doctors I have ever had in my life. He truly is one of a kind.

I have been a patient of Dr. David Gerber's since 2006. I have consistently found him professional, engaging and knowledgeable. When I had to have a procedure in the office (pre-Covid) he explained the process every step of the way, and invited my husband to come in while I recovered. While I often have to wait to be seen, I don't find that to be different from some other health professionals I see. The clinic is spotless and the staff helpful. I would be glad to refer women to Dr. Gerber.

I've been seeing Dr. Gerber since May 2020. Today I was in the office for an ultrasound and endometrial sampling and felt completely in great hands. I'm in great hands with Dr. Gerber and his staff from the time I walk into the office to the time I leave. I would highly recommend any of my family and friends to Dr. Gerber.

Dr.Gerber and his staff were wonderful. They made me feel super comfortable and made sure I was completely informed of the procedure I was about to do. I got my IUD replaced which was originally inserted by another Dr. This time around, the procedure was 100% better and pretty painless. I highly recommend going to Dr.Gerber if you’re thinking of getting and IUD.

I had my GP refer me here after the IUD their nurse practitioner gave me fell out. Meridia Medical took very good care of me and were very thorough and careful with the second IUD placement. The insertion was relatively easy, and it's been perfect ever since. Highly recommend for those getting an IUD. (yes, sometimes 2+ hour wait times but totally worth it for the level of care)

I did my hysteroscopy polypectomy with Dr Greber, it was such a nice experience. They called me a week before procedure and did Pap smear and HPV along with abdomen and vaginal ultrasound. They scheduled my hysteroscopy a week after that.The nurses and the doctor are very supportive.They made me comfortable throughout the procedure and I highly recommend this place
