World rate this store zero stars if at all possible. Was going to purchase a bracelet for my mother in law for Christmas. Went in the store October 6th wasn't sure about the fit or style and advised them I would like to bring my mom in to check out the styles to see if they are for her. Was immediately pressured into buying it because it was a great price. I figured that buying the item in full at $1,400 almost wouldn't be subject to a full refund. Jenny was insistent that I leave a deposit asking for $500 which I said no. I told her I could leave $100 and be back with my mother in law to pick up the bracelet in a few days. Long story short she sadly passed away. I called the store to let her know she said come in to the store we will talk about it. When I went into the store, she said no refund I explained that I don't wear jewelry myself and after being told no refund which on the receipt it doesn't mention anything like that I had no option but to go to the bank and ask for a charge back. Sadly this is a bad business practice, if you don't offer refunds for deposits please mention that to your customers and post it in store and on the receipt

Don't ever come to this store. Jenny is very unprofessional, they only care about money and they don't value their customers. Don't be swayed by her business sales talk because after you give her the money she wont bother to care anymore. No refunds, no exchange, no good receipts, nothing of after care once purchased or get services from them. If I can give 0 star, I will. Nothing of customer service, asked where and who the owner is and they said boss is not there and boss doesn't come to the store. If you want to save yourself from stress don't come here.

My gosh! I have never seen anybody treat a customer this RUDE!!! I came here and bought a pair of earrings and left a jewelry for repair. She said they’ll call me when it’s done. More than a week had passed and I didn’t hear from them. So, I decided to just pick it up myself. I got there at 10 am which clearly says on the app the time they open. I swear to God she was the rudest of all customer service. She raised her voice at me when I didn’t understand her English saying to check the number behind the paper. I wanted to be rude back but I held my tongue and decided to just tell people through a review. I don’t know what people go through and we all experience that but this lady is bad for the business and definitely not fit to deal with customers. I give this jewelry store a 0 if I could.

DISHONEST !!! Do not go there at all. I don't leave reviews much, but for this, I want everyone to know that this place has liars and dishonest people. I took my watch thinking it needs to be resized, when in fact, It didnt need anything done to it. The lady was so rude, she told me oh this is very difficult to do, we have to lock it, you cant do this and took it and was insisting I come back. Since it was a very expensive watch I waited and they were speaking their language and other lady was fiddling around pretending she's doing something. Charged me $15!!! for doing nothing, It is an adjustable strap that you can adjust at home without doing anything, I just didnt have the time to look into it. Please stay away, it's not about even the money, it's about the principle!! the dishonesty!!! your business must be doing so bad that you are ripping off for $15.

One of the best jewellers in Toronto! Jenny was extremely patient and guided me throughout the whole process of custom making my dream ring. From beginning to end, she took the time to explain the process and gave me updates on my time piece. I am extremely happy with their service and will be going back in the future. I got few items at 88 before. They have a great selection, and the salesperson Sandy has been very patient with me each time. For those comments who said they are overpriced, I don't think that is true. Yes, you may find a necklace at another store for sightly cheaper, but I the quality is not the same! I have always shopped for the best value, not the cheapest price, and I think the quality of their products with every penny. The jewelry I got from them, the finish is very refined. I got a bracelet from them since 10 years ago, and it is still good as new. In contrast, I got another bracelet as a gift from one of the bigger jewelry chain, and this gift only lasted few months before it broke. You cannot go wrong by shopping at 88. Dont listen to any of the bad reviews here, Jenny (a worker) is a very good friend of mine she gives me the best deals ever i have seen in my life, she gave me gift packaging for free and great customer service.

Just avoid to buy or sell anything there, they have very bad attitude and behavior with customer, and not treating well at all, they don't have change policy or return policy, and sell just low quality goods. I'm totally disappointed from their attitude and the way treated me.
