I came here for my mother's birthday on a Wednesday night. I had booked a reservation for 7pm and we waited a few minutes to be seated. Our server was lively and informed us of the recommendations and specials. 🥬 Keg Caesar: 10/10 Classic caesar salad with large shavings of parmesan cheese. Can't go wrong. 🦑 Calamari: 8/10 Surprised that the calamari included breaded jalepenos and peppers mixed in. It came with two sauces, one aioli and another sauce which I could not identify but both were equally tasty. 🧅 French onion soup: 10/10 Came out piping hot. Deep beefy flavour with caramelized onions. I really enjoyed the pieces of bread soaked in the soup. Topped off with a healthy amount of cheese. 🐟 Tuna tartare: 8/10 The presentation of the dish was very aesthetic. The tuna sat on top of a medallion of avocado. The wonton chips were nice and crispy. I was expecting the fish to be cool but it came out a bit warm, which threw me off a little, but was delicious nonetheless. 🥩 10oz Prime Rib with twice-baked potato and frizzled onions: 11/10 Prime rib was cooked perfectly medium rare. The au jus was delicious amd had hints of peppercorn. The potato could have had more butter in it. The onions were crispy and delicious eaten with the beef. Must try this if you haven't before. 🥩 12oz New York Striploin with mushroom rice and seasonal vegetables: 9/10 Steak was cooked medium rare. Might order it rare next time as it cooks a bit more as it cools down. Beef was seasoned well. The mushroom rice and vegetables are a great pairing for the steak if you feel like eating "clean". 🥩 8oz Sirloin Oscar with fries and seasonal vegetables: 10/10 My mother ordered this and she absolutely loved the oscar sauce. She hasn't eaten steak in a very long time and she devoured every last bite of this one. 🍰 Billy Miner Pie: 10/10 The Keg classic dessert. Love the shaved almonds with the chocolate sauce and ice cream. The restaurant was nice enough to put it on the house for my mother's birthday. 🍮 Mini Creme Brulée: 10/10 Can't really mess up creme brulée. Would recommend getting the regular size for a couple more dollars, but the pie had us stuffed. Overall, we enjoyed the food and had a great time for my mother's birthday. Thank you to the Keg for making it a night to remember. 🥳

The Keg provided for an intimate steakhouse experience with family and friends. I was surprised to find this Keg located in an obscure plaza on Leslie Ave, but conveniently within minutes of Hwy 401 ramp. It is quite spacious with multiple seating areas & bar. The atmosphere was quite chill, and the waitress was easygoing & accommodating. Allergy considerations were well-taken care of by the staff as well. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped filet mignon along with the loaded potato. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare although slightly cooled due to bringing all food at the same time for our large table. Menu prices have increased in recent years but this is still the spot for a special occasion. They do have relatively affordable kids steak meals that comes with ice cream to help the wallets.

The food is great,especially the steaks. The taste is marvelous and high recommended. The bread and homemade butter are also tasty. But lot of people on weekends and crowded with noisy people. Went again for lunch. Great to try different high quality beef and steak. Peppercorn steak was so good 👍 The lamb on its special menu was great.

Can't go wrong with the Keg for a decent steak. Came on a Friday evening and parking was very limited. We had a 3 person reservation for 8pm, but was ahead of schedule. We arrived foe 7pm and waited about 10 mins to get seated. I ordered the 12oz baseball with twice baked potatoe which came with beets and broccoli. It came out perfectly medium rare. Overall would recommend and come back.

This is the second time my husband and I went for our wedding anniversary. It was so lovely to be wished by everyone in the restaurant. Our server Alexa was superb and made the evening even better. The food was great. We ordered calamari, steak, bottle of wine and salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. It was reasonably priced.

One of the only kegs open for lunch before 3-4pm. Was my first time trying the keg and we had a lot of fun. Our server was very kind and helpful (i think her name was victoria) and we just had a blast. The food was super yummy too and i love having a nice hot bun with herb garlic butter before my meal

Food here is amazing and the service is great. The Fillet Mignon is always perfectly cooked and my go-to menu choice! If you want the best experience go all out with the different sides and the salad appetizer. Their coffee ice cream cake is a great way to end a steak dinner.

Great atmosphere and good service. The French Onion soup was good. I had the NY Striploin, and seem to find that the Keg always cooks it one level above what I ordered. For example, I ordered medium-rare, but it was served medium. So perhaps order one below what you really want. Hands down, the best dessert option is the Billy Miner Pie (I'm saying this as a cheesecake guy).

AMAZING! That’s what this place is. My first time ever coming to the Keg was an amazing experience! Worth every penny! I even tried the Chicago style steak that’s medium rare, very worth! Server was very very nice, and she had great ideas for choices for dinner. I would recommend for anniversaries and formal functions, I wouldn’t bring kids personally I don’t know why people do 🤷🏻‍♂️. I will absolutely come back again!

One of the best Keg Ive been to so far. First of all, theres ample parking space so you can find a spot easily, and the establishment is spacious. I would still recommend making a reservation as the place is usually quite packed on weekends. The ambience was perfect for a date night as the lights are slightly dim, and not too noisy so easy to carry a conversation. We had some appetizers and steak entrées and they were delicious. Furthermore, the server was attentive and friendly. Will definitely return to this location in the future.

We had amazing time at the keg on Leslie,the food so tasty and delicious,the escargot stuffed with mushroom caps,garlic,herbs was so yummy I had to order an other escargot,scallops and bacon no word to explain,we loved it,my sirloin and lobster plate with the sauteed vegetarian wow ,my family enjoyed their meals. Had a wonderful dinner with two of our friends. Warm and welcoming experience from the moment we walked in. Our waiter Craig made it so special for us, he took time to talk to us, accommodated one of our party who after a kidney transplant is careful of his diet. There's nothing like patio weather for a steak dinner with beer and cocktails. The weather was fabulous, and the food was amazing. We had the Top Sirloin and Prime Rib. Steaks come with mushrooms, peppers, and your choice of salad. You can add accompaniments as well for a little extra $. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the service was very prompt and friendly. So far, my best Keg restaurant.

Service is great and best of all their food is really consistent here. I prefer this Keg location over the others because of these reasons. It’s my go to when I crave a casual night out for dinner or just appetizers. Esther was my server the last couple times and she is amazing! You’ll be lucky to have her serve you if you go to this location!

Regrettably, my recent visit to celebrate my birthday was a letdown, marking a notable decline from the high standards I had come to expect here. To start, our server's attention was minimal, with scarce check-ins on our table. This lack of attentiveness was a stark contrast to the exemplary service I was accustomed to here. From the moment we were seated at our table we immediately noticed that the restaurant's ambiance has noticeably deteriorated. The once well-maintained setting now shows signs of neglect, with dirty carpets and ripped, uncomfortable seating. This decline in upkeep diminishes the overall dining experience and suggests a need for renovation. Also once we received our water we knew something was off-putting. The water cups had an unpleasant odour, reminiscent of a dirty washcloth. Though it was promptly replaced upon request, the experience was disconcerting. Further, the food quality, unfortunately, did not live up to past experiences. The baked garlic shrimp, once served with buttery, fluffy brioche, is now paired with an airy Kaiser bread - a less appealing combination. Additionally, the onion soup was overly salty, lacking the rich flavour balance it previously had. Luckily, the Calamari and the Pistachio Crusted Salmon paired with vegetables we ordered was satisfactory. Despite the subpar service, we left a 25% tip. However, the server's indifferent response to this gesture further added to our disappointment. In conclusion, while I have fond memories of dining here, this visit was underwhelming. For the price you are paying the service, ambience, and food quality here is not worth it. This location really has declined, and I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for improvement. Phillip is our guy at Keg!! Second time at this location again for a birthday and we got a chance to be served by Phillip once again. He is great from start to finish, never have to repeat our order, he recommends and also gives a great service. You just feel you’re in safe hands when you get a server who knows what he is doing. The food as always amazing we ordered the baked shrimp this time and loved it. Had a great time and enjoyed everything Keg had to offer. Great location- parking can be difficult to find but people are always in and out so something works out.

I’ve been to quite a few Keg locations and this is the 1st time I’ve left a less than favourable review. The food was great as usual and the location was clean, the only issue I had was service. We asked for a booth but they refused the request (clearly because the waitress wanted all of her tables in a specific area) even though there were many open booths, and then were ignored for most of our time and only checked in on at the end of the meal even though it was not busy. Beyond this what surprised me was that the waitress didn’t even respond to basic manners please and thank you, she didn’t really acknowledge that she was being spoken to. Maybe she was having a bad night? I’m sure this was just a one off experience as I’ve never had an issue with service at any other locations, and others seemed to be receiving good service, but our experience wasn’t as good as one comes to expect when spending nearly $200. The food was great though so that’s always the most important thing. So good in fact that nobody could wait to dig in before I took pictures.

Terrific experience as pretty much always at the Keg Leslie. I enjoy this location for dine in and takeout. This time I tried the chicken and ribs. The ribs are great... I was surprised! The chicken was not (seemed very similar to the frozen chicken breasts from M&M)... I was surprised. Try the ribs but forget the chicken. Service was its usual excellent!

February 18th, 2018 This Keg location is my most favourite KEG restaurant. Fantastic experience! The interior inside the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is very cozy. The Servers are always AMAZING! Polite, knowledgeable, attentive, well-spoken and personable. Super clean location. Our server made fantastic recommendations and ensured that our evening was unforgettable. Your meal always starts with a FRESH, steaming bread, that I really love. Steaks come with mushrooms, peppers, and your choice of salad. You can add accompaniments as well for a little extra $. As for the salad, I tried the Iceberg Wedge. I am a huge blue cheese fan and this certain salad was divine and the cheese was so smooth and mildly sharp to my liking. Overall, food here is amazingly delicious. My go-to menu choice is always the Fillet Mignon. Perfectly cooked EVERY single time. My husband always gets his usual Steak dish. If you want the best experience go all out with the different sides. EVERYTHING tastes to Perfection!!! The quality of the food, combined with the inviting ambiance, created an exceptional dining experience. We always have a lovely time in this KEG location. Food came out hot and delicious. Service was OK- wasn't the best but whenever the waitress did come around she was friendly/nice but she never came around often enough to check on the table especially since we were a large group with a large tab.

One of Toronto's best in service and value. Although I'm not a big steak eater, the Keg is the only place I will eat a steak. Always cooked to perfection! The wait staff are always so professional and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to everyone's needs. This time we took my parents in their 80-90's and they set us up with a very nice table and accommodated us to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The meals tasted great and are not doused in salt to numb the palate. We left fully satisfied and as always, enjoyed our meal. The Leslie St location has a beautiful interior and will always say the best wait staff and over best service in Toronto!!!❤️

My partner and I love The Keg. The garlic bread is our favorite and we often order extra to take home or just pick some up to go with dinner. It's a beautiful atmosphere and the food is always great.

First time at this location. Service was great. Everyone at front of house was very nice. Our server Nancy was a sweetheart and so polite& friendly. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. Lobster was fresh. Will definitely be returning to this location.

Came here for a birthday dinner. The bread, cake and steak was delicious. Great service. A nice and big location.

Great place to eat. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't very busy. The ambient was beautiful and the washrooms were quite clean and decorated. The staff is very polite there too. They don't have too many options in their lunch menu but it is very good quality food none the less. The food was a bit over spiced, the clam chowder was too spicy and steak was a little spicy too but the food was great otherwise. To end the meal off they had amazing desserts, the cheese cake and miners cake were so good. I recommend for a nice calm place for lunch or dinner.

We went with a friend yesterday for supper the one on Leslie Street. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and started the process of I'd and Vaccine proof. Good job and smooth. I ordered Escargot, the 12oz New York sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. Oh my Goodness. That steak was so tender, biting into it was a beautiful thing. The flavor and juices just take over the inside if your mouth. I have been to other locations, same order but this time the steak was soooo tender. The food, service, the ambiance was great. Honestly, the best chain restaurant for steak in terms of value for money. Between Ruth Chris and The Keg id choose the Keg because of the overall value. Food: 4.5/5 the steak is so good for a $50 steak. And so consistent honestly. Best place for a milestone! Service: 5/5 the best service. Friendliest waitresses and waiters and anytime there’s something wrong, they go out of their way to make it right! Ambiance: 5/5 very nice dim ambiance, perfect for any occasion - a date, birthday, etc. Thanks The Keg for keeping it consistent and real!

The food was wonderful. Stakes were done excellently well. Kudos to the chef/s. Our server, however, made several mistakes with our group of 7. She forgot one of the drinks, one of the appetizers, and messed up one of the main meals, and sadly, they were all the same person's order.

Bigger is not better. The building and parking lot are both huge but it was very difficult to get parking. We had to park at the back of the building by the loading dock. Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Getting service was difficult even though they had a lot of staff. When we got our dishes, 4 out of 5 steaks were over-cooked, my steak the only one being correct that was supposed to be "medium-well". The manager was nice enough to give us replacement steaks at no cost. The food itself was good but not great compared to other Keg locations. I was also surprised that we didn't receive any complimentary dessert for our celebration. The last keg I went to was an absolutely fantastic experience when I was given a free Billy Miner Pie for my own personal celebration. It not like I was celebrating a birthday or anniversary or something big like that and we didn't spend that much money either and yet I got a free dessert. This location, we spent well over $450 and were celebrating a big sale and we got nothing. We didn't push the issue because we already got free steaks for the kitchen messing up our order but I still feel disappointed that other Keg locations aren't providing the same level of service. This Keg is good but far from great. If you've never gone to Keg before, this location would be a treat. If you go to other locations, you'll really taste the difference and be disappointed by their shortcomings.

Here provided us with a great service. They even offer "Today's Special Menu". That really suprised us. The steaks are really good. The cooked level is accurate. As for the seafood, they are fresh and sweat. An excellant restaurant !!!!!!

We had a lovely meal here last week and everything was great from start to finish. The service was wonderful, the food was excellent and we loved the layout of the restaurant and the calmness around the whole place. We started with the shrimp cocktail and calamari, which were both excellent The portion size for the calamari was huge and definitely enough for 3-4 people. All of our mains were great as well, and we each had a range of different things from the vegan meatloaf, to the chicken wings, to the prime rib sandwich and the pistachio salmon. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the meatloaf was! The service was great from the time that we got there until the end and everyone was friendly and kind. I would definitely return!

For the most part, you are not over paying for your meal like some steakhouses that offer the same stuff but tastes and standards may vary. We had a pleasant service/server, and she was tipped accordingly. Although this time it wasn't over the top amazingly, we thought the reservation service was amazing and wish we got her name. The atmosphere inside was standard as this is a chain, but we found outside and the parking 🅿️ a poor impression. It's not a great atmospheric location and it is limited parking.

Took my parents here for Father’s Day dinner. No reservations but we were lucky to be seated within 5 minutes before a busy dinner rush. The head hostess was on the ball and kept her cool the whole time. Ordered prime rib + mashed potatoes, (medium rare) and a (medium well) rack of lamb with twice baked potato, alongside a pitcher of red wine sangria. Waiter was on the ball with my mom’s request for extra bread and butter. Lamb rack was slightly burned, but it was so big deal since meat was juicy!!! Parking can be. tricky during the dinner rush so make sure to get there at least 10 minutes before your actual reservation time in the evening to get a good parking spot. The lounge staff is constantly on the move, we could tell the management here definitely improved from the last time we came to this location. Will definitely be coming back

We attended here today for a very early dinner (or very late lunch) and had an incredible experience. The Keg has always been predictable in the food world (in my opinion) and today was no different. Hot, delicious, great timing, accommodating etc. What you can’t always expect or predict is service. Our server, Melanie (B) was AMAZING. Personable, knowledgeable, accommodating to a few dietary requests, attentive and all the wonderful things you love from great service. We’ve always enjoyed this location because it’s a little brighter than other locations, and the service and cleanliness has always been top notch — but we’d 100% return here for her service (with a smile) alone. Thanks for this experience + if you attend this location — ask for Melanie’s section (you’ll be happy you did!)

When dinner starts with fresh, steaming bread, you know it’ll be a good meal. Pro-tip: ask for the 3 cheese butter! That whipped goodness takes the bread to the next level. Was so pleased that our server accommodated our ask and came out with a more rare prime rib (instead of the usual medium-rare). French onion soup is served hot and is top notch. Twice baked potato is like a variation of a devilled egg in potato-form and mixed with bacon. Calamari, Mushrooms Neptune, and Caesar Salad met our standards for what you would expect from the Keg. A solid and consistent meal.

Prices go up, quality of service goes down. I was treating my mother to a dinner for her birthday. She loves The Keg, and we always have a great time at this location. Unfortunately, we noticed an immediate change upon entry. While the host was courteous (as usual), our waiter, Jeff, was not. I understand that COVID-19 is impacting many people, it doesn’t mean they should ruin another person’s evening. Throughout the whole evening, Jeff was very inattentive and ignorant to us apart from bringing our food. I had made a point to tell him it was my mother’s birthday, and he just shrugged it off. When it came to ordering our dinner, he tried vainly to push us for The Keg’s 50th anniversary specials (which were nice to see, but not what we wanted). When we made a firm decision, he still tried. We found this very rude and impolite. After taking our order, we had to wait 30 minutes before he could remember to bring us water. Throughout the evening, he was much more attentive to other tables with larger parties. No surprise, given how much the prices have risen since the inflation began; he was earnestly interested in tips, not providing service. If this is the kind of service to expect from the Leslie location of The Keg, I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. Our food was spectacular. The service was dismal.

Always a favourite to celebrate any occasion ❤️ Love all their steaks and the garlic mash and twice baked potato 😋 My personal favorites are the New York striploin and the filet mignon. Always finish your meal with their yummy Billy Miner pie!

In our neighbourhood and we always have a good experience. Lower capacity due to Covid so go early or have a reservation. Staff is friendly and efficient.
