Poor service. I got the room last night and i couldn't even sleep because bed bugs were crawling on the bed, even inside of the pillow case. I called the receptionist around midnight and he expressed there was no one to help us at the moment. In the morning we were helped by a kind receptionist who told us a room change would've been possible last night. Don't waste your money on this place, Hilton is next door.

In town for my wife's father's funeral. Found this bed bug / tick crawling on our bed when we first got there. Disgusting! Did not want to bring bedbugs home with us. Contacted hotel night staff and they dragged us with all our luggage to two different rooms all over the hotel to find one with the two washrooms we had booked - my wife had a badly sprained ankle at the time. They offered us a $25 discount, a room same as our own and promised us the day manager would call us first thing in the morning. He never did. Around 2pm we were back at the hotel and I asked to speak to the manager - not available so I asked for him to contact me when he was. By 5:30 he had not so I called again. Told he was not available but that it didn't matter because they had a report saying the room had no bedbugs. I reminded him I had seen one, filmed one and other staff had seen it. I could hear his manager telling him to tell me that they had a report. I thought he wasn't there!!! They were very snotty in the way they spoke to me. I went down to the lobby, the manager then insisted I had been told I was getting a $70 credit by the night staff because he told them to. That was not the case. Regardless, I got a $70 credit on a $700 bill despite them risking either bed bugs coming home with me or myself or my wife getting Lyme disease from a tick bite (whatever that bug was), being dragged from one end of the hotel to the other with all our luggage while my wife had a sprained ankle, and not being contacted despite several requests throughout the day. We would have stayed elsewhere but there was no vacancy anywhere and we had to be close by for the funeral. Worst hotel experience EVER! I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

the only nice thing I would say would be that the reception was nice. the hallways smelled of hand soap, the rooms smelled of soap. it lingered the whole night. the carpet was filthy dirty in the room. the next morning, at 9am we heard banging on the wall and when we went out in the hallway, they were renovating full a room right next door to ours. they did not want to compensate us what so ever. personally, horrible experience.

Our room did NOT feel clean and fresh. There were discolored spots on the sheets/bedspread, hand prints on the bathroom wall, dust behind basic furniture. Our room felt cramped and dark.

Very little attention paid to detail! We found the lighting in the room very dark. One lamp was missing a light although that wouldn't have made much of a difference. There appears to be hastily patched up holes in the walls where a wall lamp once hung and generally poor craftsmanship throughout the room (cracks in the basboards, walls, etc.) Clearly it is a rush job when it comes to cleaning and vacuuming. There is a buildup of dust on the lamp shades, chip crumbs and a lollipop stick beside the bed, and the baseboard of the bed is stained (looks like a spilled drink-see photo for reference). There were hairs on the bathroom floor and in the jacuzzi tub as well as between the mattress and baseboard. The stop in the jacuzzi tub seemed broken since it required someone with long fingernails to pry it open. There is no shelving in the stand-up shower for soaps, bottles, etc. The wiring behind the side tables in the bedroom is very shoddy and the frame around the socket is coming out of the wall. The hotel staff were very friendly.

I really really did not want to type this review but due to the hotel manager not taking it seriously I need to post it. We checked in yesterday it took roughly 2.5 hours Room 1 ....dirty used condom on floor food on floor sheets and bedding visibly dirty. Room 2 ....dirty all over again Room 3 also dirty bed shower floor and so on.. Al and areyana at the desk were extremely professional trying to fix this. Areyana cleaned the room so we could get in it and she did a much better job then the cleaning staff

Terrible service, extremely rude staff, breakfast is not included, avoid at all costs. We had a horrible stay at this hotel. We booked our July long weekend stay back in February knowing it would be busy/expensive to book later. We booked two refundable rooms. As we got closer to the weekend we needed to cancel one of the rooms. After calling the hotel, I was told by someone working the front desk, who claimed to be a manager, that I was unable to cancel because I had a non refundable room. After arguing for a few minutes that I had in fact paid for a refundable room, he got very angry and told me he was cancelling my entire reservation and I had to rebook a single room online. Of course two days before a busy weekend, there were no available rooms online at any hotels Including this one. I was forced to call customer service who had to work with upper management to get me a room at the rate I had originally paid after telling me this person at the front desk was in fact NOT the manager and that he should not have done what he did as I was perfectly in my right to cancel one of my rooms. It was a complete waste of 2 hours of my time and caused a lot of anxiety as we had an entire weekend planned and we were desperate to find a place to stay. Luckily customer relations was able to book me one room. However, we had zero service during this stay - no replenishment of towels or toiletries for three days. When we asked front desk for towels, it took them an hour to deliver. Breakfast was NOT included as it stated on the website, resulting in an extra cost to us at over $200. The room was also dirty upon arrival. Upon checking out, the same front desk person recognized my name and gave me a lecture on cancelling procedure and how I should come to the hotel next time to cancel in person which makes zero sense as we are travelling from away and the policy is to cancel 24 hours in advance. At this point I was fed up and just wanted to leave and didn’t have the energy to argue again. I’m extremely disappointed with this stay, as you can tell by my detailed review, and I will not be staying again. However, the customer relations representative who dealt with my situation was extremely pleasant and helpful. If you end up staying here and need to make any changes, do not call the hotel directly - Call the reservations line or customer relations, they will actually help you.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. When we arrived, our room wasn't even ready yet. The room is not very clean, there are sticky weird stains all over the headboard there is dust on the furniture and the grout in the shower is filthy. They don't have cribs, as advertised on their website so we have to go and buy a safe sleep space for my two month old. We usually stay in air bnbs, and now I remember why. Was expecting a higher level of service from a reputable hotel chain... disappointed is an understatement. They did eventually bring a pack and play they found in the basement that was FILTHY. I'm offended they expected my two month old to sleep on it.

This hotel cost me over $200 due to their website's error--and I got nothing in return. I spent hours talking to the hotel's customer service and corporate's guest relations and was offered no compensation, compassion, or understanding. With the help of my business travel program administor, I had attempted to book a room for specified dates directly through the Best Western website. In the midst of the booking the selected dates, we were redirected to by the site to set up an account, which we did. We then promptly booked and paid for the room. However, afterwards, it was realized that the site glitched and booked the date that we were on the site not the dates we had selected. I called the hotel to alert them of the error and was told "nothing" could be done. I further enquired with corporate guest relations and was told that it was up to the location and not the franchise. Corporate guest relations contacted the hotel to request on my behalf that something be done--that I be offered a credit that could be used for the dates that I orignally tried to book or be issued a full or partial refund. Ultimately the manager Nick responded that there was nothing he was willing to do to make my situation better. I am a person that travels a lot, and I am totally discouraged from using Best Western again. They are keeping my money--and it seems this hotel cares more about this than they do about retaining their customers and providing meaningful service. BEWARE WHEN YOU BOOK.

I am not even sure where to begin. STAY AWAY. Our room smells of cigarettes and is dirty (you get a brown film on your socks if you take your shoes off - the carpet feels nasty, oily, and the texture is weird, not like carpet is supposed to be), the sofa bed actually has spring coils that hurt if you try to kneel on the mattress (which our kids are usually happy to occupy! Not this trip!) and the mattress groans every time a person moves, which resulted in terrible sleep for the kids. We got a queen kitchenette suite. The queen ended up being a double and the staff just try to lie at you about the shortcomings. We’ve been told it is a queen (it is NOT) or, interestingly, it’s a ‘double-queen.’ Wait - what? There is nothing in the kitchenette to use to cook your food. Again, interesting staff response - ‘that’s normal. If you want to cook you have to bring your own pots and pans.’ Well, that’s a first! And no, that’s not the norm for a kitchenette suite. I highly doubt travelers are getting off planes to occupy kitchenettes with their own knives, spatulas, dish soap, and pans. Give me a break. The air conditioning is broken. We were able to get the repair man (who was very nice and did not lie about the poor condition of the room) to come and fix the broken chair, broken door lock, and broken AC (it wouldn’t turn on), though the temperature varies wildly and does not run at all at the temp it is set to. The pool was cloudy and there was a scum on the tiles at the water line that indicates insufficient cleaning and filtering. Also the water bleached my son’s black fabric bandaid. I’ve never, ever seen that before (and I’m a pool owner here) so those chemicals have to have been out of balance for certain. Our room’s fire door doesn’t close properly. We ordered room service since we couldn’t cook our own breakfast and we’re told they didn’t have anyone working to bring the food up to the room. The dye from the take out container liners (red checkerboard pattern) has bled into our food. What on earth?! We do have compassion for staffing shortages, however, this hotel needs to be inspected for safety and cleanliness and to see if it is up to fire code and is using food-grade materials for proper food handling. They need to either run only with the amount of rooms they can clean or maintain, or close. It is not fair to charge full rate for broken and unequipped rooms. Front desk staff are apathetic spin doctors who don’t even bother to apologize for a difficulty, instead gaslighting that your problems don’t exist or that you don’t know what is normal for a hotel.

The rooms we booked weren't what we booked. The package we paid for was two 2 double bed rooms, but were given two queen rooms. Reception told us they don't even have double beds at all, since they cater to traveling business workers on the go, not families. They also don't have any cots to make up for the lacking bed. So we were forced to book another room on the spot, and (surprise, surprise) all that's left is the most expensive king suite. For the price, the hotel room offered nothing in terms of information, nearby stuff to do or places to eat, maps, TV guide, etc. The desk chair was almost broken, and the light by the door didn't turn on at all. The toilet kept running every few minutes because of a broken seal or something. The ice machine on our floor wasn't on, so we had to keep going back down to the lobby. There was also no continental breakfast, which doesn't make much sense since traveling business workers would need something to eat quickly in the morning. Its location is optimal, being right off the highway, but there are a plethora of other hotels in the surrounding area. Absolutely not worth the price we paid, and we will book elsewhere next time.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at the Best Western Plus North York hotel. Our stay was a complete nightmare. The hotel staff was incompetent and unhelpful. The room was poorly cleaned, and it was a struggle to get fresh towels. The so-called Front Office Manager was often unavailable, and when we had a request, it was either ignored or we had to wait for hours. We have traveled to many places around the world, but we have never encountered such a horrible hotel before. On one occasion, when we asked to have our bed sheets changed, we were rudely treated and even told to leave the hotel! One of the "front desk agents" named Al-Nawaz insulted and threatened us when we requested bath towels, stating that we were not welcome and should immediately leave the hotel. The so-called hotel manager, Nick, was very aggressive, uneducated, and primitive. We encountered the staff at this hotel as poorly educated, aggressive and unpredictable, and it wouldn't be surprising if a guest were subjected to physical aggression. We couldn't bear staying at this dreadful hotel any longer, so we decided to leave earlier than planned. We strongly advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. It was a truly awful experience, and we believe it deserves the name "Best Western Double Minus"!

Amazing staff and exceptional service makes any other "imperfections" this hotel may have unimportant. It was apparent they were dealing with a fully occupied hotel but also short staffed. With a few glitches on my end they still worked with us and we got into our glorious king suite. Travel with 3 kids is a challenge butnot when you stay here!! We'll be back!! Thank you!

Our room is downright disgusting. Visibly stained sheets, broken chairs, stains over the furniture, stickers all over the night stand, and broken sockets. This is by far one of the least maintained best westerns I have stayed in. They have directional indicators to things that arnt even there anymore like the ice machine. This location is in need of a renovation/refurbishing as it is far from what the standards I've seen with this company.

The location is off of the 400. South of Canada's Wonderland and Vaughn Mills Mall. It is in an industrial neighborhood near steel/finch and jane/finch. There are a lot of plazas, small malls, grocery stores, fast food, and take out restaurants. The parking lot was shiny black and bright yellow. The lobby doors were smudged with handprints. Cold water and hot coffee are available in the lobby. The adjoining restaurant is free for groups or 15% of for guests. Standard breakfast and limited lunch fare. They open early but close early, too. The floors, walls, and elevator look grubby. Only the floors are cleaned but not the corners or grout. The room has a small closet with a curtain. A bathroom with a large counter. The toliet and tub seemed to have been replaced recently. The floor and shower tile grout are dirty in areas. The carpet is a dark color, and it is hard to tell how often it has been shampooed. The bed runner had a stain. The pillows were soft. The sheets appeared clean. Inside the lampshade was dusty. The curtain was dirty. The seat cushion was stained. The fridge was clean, and the microwave was not. The outlets have no usb ports, but the alarm clock has them. There was a dusty, loud, large cooler/ heater wall unit. The flat screen was a good size with premium channels for adults and kids, including Disney and FX. The decor was dated. The room was not wide enough to walk between the bed and desk once seated in the office chair. The staff seems burned-out, and the service reflected it.

Worse hotel I've ever been to in the GTA. DO NOT BOOK. The room was given to us 30 mins after check-in time, the sink was clogged and the room was dirty to begin with as the cleaner was rushing to get it cleaned. They then charged me for a cleaning fee on top of the hotel fee. The room was left as how it was given and was not dirty after a one night of stay. This hotel likes to scam people and has THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Rooms are barely cleaned. They say it is cleaned every other day but that is not true. I have notified staff that we did not receive service and they say it will be done “tomorrow.” When tomorrow comes it is “I’m sorry it will be tomorrow” this is absurd and unhealthy. I’ve had to wait 5 days for service when other rooms have received it multiple times in a week. As a customer who is staying for weeks, I’d assume we would be treated well. Oh and beware for bed bugs it took days before we realized why our skin was itchy. After a doctor who said it is likely a bed bug bite we checked the bed and there it was 2 bed bugs. And you know that when you see one there are many.Customer service here is low quality for the exception of one or two people. I don’t have an issue using google translate to communicate with some workers but when managers are difficult to speak with staying here is challenging.

Falls representation. NO the restaurant was not open. You need to order food from someplace else or you will starve. No breakfast either. The place was surrounded by a construction zone so you just can't get to any outlet by walking or take a cab. Nothing of this in mentioned on the hotel website. I really regret my choice of this place.

Masaba at the reception desk was friendly, courteous and professional on the phone and in person. I got a room with a leaking sink and she changed it immediately. COVID-19 has sure taken it's toll on everything. The restaurant and swimming pool were closed. The rooms could not be cleaned every day which is understandable because of the pandemic and to respect safety and health protocols . You could order take out from the flyers at the reception. I realized you did not really need to change your towel every day if you are staying only two days. You could pick whatever you wanted off from the reception if you asked for them. They did the best they could given the circumstances. It was really calm. The Air conditioning in room 624 could be cooler. I recommend this hotel and would book again.

As a place to sleep at the end of a busy day it was fine, but if you have time and can relax you may want somewhere better. The micro wave did not work, we had to ask twice before it was changed. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well, we had two nights there, absolutely no room service. Garbage and bathroom were not touched. It took sometime to get a response from the front desk. No breakfast as advertise and their restaurant is closed. Despite all of this the front desk staff were pleasant.

Unfortunately, our stay was not great. Nick, the staff at the door was wonderful. The ice machine on our floor and every other floor was broken except for the lobby. We were there for 4 nights and not once was our room cleaned. I understand covid policy, but constantly having to ask for linens was annoying. No breakfast due to covid, yet the prices are the same. There was mold in the bathroom around the tub. Just not a great experience.

Very pleasant hotel and room. The room was very clean and was well equipped and in new condition. Didn't give 5* because rewards were denied for using third party buyer and there were only two sets of towels for a reservation for three.

BED BUGS!!! DO NOT GO. I woke up and found bed bugs in my bed. I called down right away and asked for plastic bags for my clothes and for someone to come up and look at my bed. the manager came up- said he would move me to a different room on a different floor. They had me waiting 1 and a half hours in the bug infested room, I called down and asked multiple times for the plastic bags so I could try to contain the clothes I wore in the bed- the reception said she doesn’t control the cleaning staff and that she couldn’t get someone to bring me plastic bags?? I had to go to the cleaning cart and take garbage bags myself from the cart and the cleaning lady made a comment about how there weren’t any bugs in the room. There was no apologetic nature to the situation or any urgency. When I confronted them the very least regarding a discount they said it wasn’t their responsibility because I booked through expedia and then they proceeded to talk me out of calling Expedia saying they wouldn’t refund me etc. I am COVERED in bed bug bites- this was not just a couple of bugs but a full on infestation. I now have spent so much money in dry cleaning and getting my car detailed to try and avoid bringing this back to my house and this hotel didnt even want to refund me. After several days of calling about a refund and them telling me to call back they gave me money back (I called 4 days In a row which I shouldn’t have had to do.) the refund really doesn’t even begin to cover the money I’ve already spent on trying to contain this thing. And upon refund they said “we didn’t find any bugs” no ownership no nothing. Even after I took pictures of the bugs and proof of the hundred odd bites all over me. Bed bugs can happen to any hotel but the customer service was absolutely horrible. I hope no one else has to undergo what I went through with this place.

We are really disappointed with this hotel. The front desk staff are not only unprofessional, but also very rude to guests. Their attitude is very disgusting! The cleanliness of the room is also very bad. We can't bear to stay there for one night! It's really a very bad hotel. We don't recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. Seriously!!

Spine specialist cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the appointment, less than 18 hours before our 4 hour drive, and reserved stay. Spoke with Al at the property, and without question, refunded our 2 night stay, without any administration fees, or hassel. So Best Western 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and it was a decent hotel . But I think they overcharged for what you get. And there was some minor cleanliness of the hotel betting that I did not like.... The staff were super friendly but a little bit hard to understand.

The hotel is too far from downtown Toronto (30min if no traffic) There are some fast food places around but you really need a car. There's a nice mall 12 min away, 'Yorkdale'. The room was nice. No safety box though. We found couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and room.

Asked for a blanket and pillows for the pull out bed (which wasn't cleaned sheet was covered in sparkles and a lighter) and the staff member who came to bring it yelled at us basically calling us stupid for not bringing our own and that they didn't have any. Room was dirty and even after two cleanings by staff while we were there a previous users big toenail clipping was on the floor and we found a child's sock under the bed as well Restaurant is advertised on the best western website as open for breakfast lunch and dinner but when we got to the hotel at 9pm after a day of travelling we were informed that it was only open until 1pm every day We are overall extremely dissatisfied and. Disappointed with our stay and will never be going back

A big shout out to Nick at reception. We don't know Toronto very well and were a bit stressed to get to our venue on time. He drew us a map and explained it all. So glad we went with his directions instead of MapQuest or we never would have got to our destination on time. He went above & beyond to help.

The rooms and service was fine, as expected. But the restaurant bathrooms! At 730am the ladies restrooms were disgusting. Kleenex in the stalls because there was no toilet paper, I was lucky to find one stall that was at least flushed and not discolored. I left my breakfast unfinished after going in there. Does cleanliness not matter?

Avoid at all costs. I went to this hotel and booked a 1 night stay in person and was charged for 2 nights. I checked in and checked out on time. After calling and asking to speak to a manager to solve this issue, the manager I was speaking to was very rude and said they have a woman on camera (I'm a man) asking to extend the stay for an extra night 3 hours after I checked out. They did not ask for the card holder to verify the reservation extension if that story is even real. They fought with me, told me they don't want my business, and refused to refund the fraudulent charge. I have never been treated with such disrespect by any other business. The only way I can get my money back is through the Visa fraud department. This was my first time at any Best Western location and I will never give that company my business again. For the sake of your sanity please never come here.

Great hotel for a hockey team. Proximity to some of the rinks that are commonly used for tournaments is great. Lots of shopping 10 mins away just in case you need to kill time. Staff is tolerant. Had a great experience at The Best Western at the Norfinch location. The staff there are so friendly, and customers service is great. Great response time for any questions, problems. Very knowledgeable about different attractions and things to do for the kids. Will definitely recommend this location.

I don’t recommend this hotel. I and my family got bad vibes here. There are: 1. The room is dirty. We did request housekeeping but they didn’t provide that. The housekeeper only cleans the room for every 2 days. Special request was also rejected from them. 2. The staff are not friendly at all. (Except restaurant staff) 3. The hotel security system is bad. 4. I don’t recommend this hotel if you plan to stay more than one night. It’s absolutely dirty.

Last week I drove by the holiday inn express and chose to stay at the BW Plus. I checked in late and went straight to bed once in my room, without checking for cleanliness. Early next morning I woke up to something crawling on my arm. I immediately jumped out of bed, turned on the light and it turned out to be a tiny spider. I pulled the sheets to check the rest of the bed, and found about 20 or so strands of long black hair on the pillow and mattress sheet. There was also a small brown stain towards the middle of the mattress sheet. Immediately afterwards I jumped in the shower. After my shower I noticed a used bar of soap and a used facecloth on the bathroom counter. I dried off and about 10 strands of long black hair fell from the towel I was using. I got dressed, immediately complained to the person at the front desk, they sent someone to have a look, that person immediately showed disgust, and in the end, I was offered a free breakfast, which I turned down. Zero star rating but I have to give the minimum 1 star to post this.

The pillows in this room are fantastic!! They don't collapse once you touch them like a hot quiche out of the oven. Bed is comfortable. No sore back in the morning. I travel a lot as a charter bus driver and get to stay in a large variety of hotels. Just not the 5-star ones. 😎 Judging by the placement of the wall mounted bedside lights that the bed in the room I was in was much bigger at one time. The one light is more than an arms length from the bedside. On some charters I'm required to stay with my guests one or more days. For that 'home' feeling I bring a media player and connect it to the rooms TV. It's a real bummer when the hotel uses a genaric TV remote that doesn't allow switching the video source on the TV to one of the HDMI ports like this place did. Not sure if all the rooms have genaric TV remotes but mine did. The WiFi is strong no lag or loading issues.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay very much! We booked the King Suite with the jacuzzi and it was great! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and convenient parking. Not far from downtown and other tourist spots in Toronto. We even drove to Niagara Falls for a day, as it was as only 1 hour from the hotel. Totally worth it!!

Had reservations. Didn't get my room until 4:45. Check in was at 3:00. Gentleman at counter was very nice and apologetic. Gave us 3 water for waiting so long.

Wasn't thrilled about not having dedicated Best Western front desk staff. You had to call the Sheraton front desk and it would take forever for extra towels to arrive. It definitely felt like Best Western Guests were an after thought. Room also weren't cleaned everyday so trash was collected in the morning outside the rooms. Would not stay more than 3 days here. We were here for a week so don't recommend it for longer stays.

I've been staying at Best Westerns for years and for extended stays due to work. I'm sad to say they are not keeping up with the other hotels with covid protocols. The rooms are dated and need a face lift and they haven't even started the slow re opening. While others offer reserved pool times and served breakfast, this Best Western wouldn't even give the water bottles normally handed out to high valued customers. I was given the excuse "not during covid" I'll will be staying at Marriots for my up coming stays. They have their procedures in order and treat their customers well.

I dont rarley complain but this reservation was beyond unexpected and unacceptable 1- The fellow at the front desk checked us in and gave us the wrong room. We went back down and confronted him and explained you gave us the wrong room I reserved a room with a spa tub. He argued with me and told me to show him the reservation confirming it was a room with a spa. After searching on my found I found it and showed him and he said No that's not it. Wow ! So I asked to speak with a manager. One wasnt available and he told me to call one. So we went back to the room left a message because it was beyond cusdomter service hours. 2- We reserved a NON Smoking room which was #205. The hallway reeked of smoke and fresh marjuana smoking. The room itself reeked of old stale cigarettes. My nose was burning for a while. Ohh yes and the ice bucket had stale water in it and the ice machine was broken. There was crumbs or something along the edge of the walls. Dirty room. The coffee maker was filthy dirty. 3- I reserved this room through best western.com if you look on this website and find the COVID policies in regards to the breakfast it specifically states breakfast included "bagged breakfast will be provided" the restaurant is closed. They did not have food whatsoever no bagged breakfast. Nothing. This is false advertising. And I will be looking into this situation for further guidance. I am appalled by our stay. It was our anniversary, we travelled a long way. It just plan out stank and stunk ! Thank you for taking the time to read my review. You've been warned !

Masaba at the front desk is a very well mannered, polite and professional lady who gave me a complimentary discount and some coffee cups upon my request. The rooms are exceptionally clean and housekeeper is a dashingly handsome man who gave me a clean bath towel.

Rooms are nice. Comfy beds. Although the rooms do get quite warm. The AC system seems not to work all too well.

This North York hotel & suites is located in the north part of the 6ix just northeast of Hwy 400 / Finch Ave.  It is rated Accessible but not Pet-friendly. Front desk staff are professional; be nice at a minimum and you'll get that in return.  It is my first visit to this building which has the Element Lounge & Restaurant facility at the roadway Best Western Plus signage entrance. I'm only here to visit two guests staying in a room for 4 nights. The gentleman said their room was nice, however, I can't speak first-hand of the experience.  Just keeping my social distance with the COVID-19 situation and the safety of all. Best Western Plus has free parking, breakfast and WiFi for guests at this location. Many amenities like the Element lounge & restaurant, swimming pool may not be fully opened due to COVID-19 restrictions so check first with front desk staff.

Absolutly no mention that they are redoing the whole area in construction so you wait forever to get into the place, all sidewalks are ripped up so you cant walk to the store, the pool and fitness rooms are closed yet all gyms and restaurants are open at other places.. absolutly the WORST experience in my 35 years at any hotel. Will never return and will tell everyone that even mentions this place to bot waste their money

We enjoyed our very nice, comfortable room at The Best Western Plus. Will stay here again. Front desk staff very attentive and helpful when I booked the room and during our stay. Thank you! Our room had a comfy King bed with full bath and an enjoining room with sofa, coffe table, desk, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, big screen tv and another washroom with shower. The bedroom also had a big screen tv. New, broadloom and decor. Rooms were very clean .

I’ve been in this place more than 5 times. They always charged me the same price. This time I just remembered that I’ve signed a paper saying my bill is $110 and I was charged $124.5. I called in the manager was the one who answered I think. He said $110 was for half a night not a full night. They changed me $124.5 for the half night and the night I’ve extended. I’m also sorry to say that for $14.50 extra money ripping off from the people little. Just make sure you check your credit card when you checkout. I’m really for the owner of the place.

We just needed a place to sleep, but somewhere clean. The room was clean enough. I would just like to suggest that the beds don't share a wall. This meaning, our bed and the bed in the room next to us were up against the same wall. It's quite disturbing to have to hear what's going on in the bed in the room next door.

I will be traveling frequently (6-8 times a year) and chose this hotel for my first trip of the year. My room was heavily scented with room deodorant on arrival. To the point my guest and I had to leave the room for a few hours (our clothes had to be washed upon arrival home as it was in our clothes). I booked again for my second stay, asking to avoid using deodorizer as the guest travelling with me on this trip is highly sensitive to scents. I am glad I called ahead as this location stated “it is part of their policy to deodorizer rooms and there is no way we will accommodate a request to not use deodorizer”. Very disappointing as I have had helpful service and care from other Best Western locations when traveling with this guest in the past. Part of the reason I spend my money with your hotel chain. Unfortunately, Best Western has lost some significant revenue from me. Beware, the rooms are smelly!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Limited hotels available so booked this after my dad being in airport for 22 hours trying to get home for funeral .. Flight changes and delays didn’t allow my dad to be able to sleep/shower for 5 hours. booked same day tried to cancel specially after they said Expedia double booked.. . Refused $327 refund/ ignored emails/ no call back. Room never used and hotel fully booked. This is not a $327 night hotel. Rooms booked at Hilton / Sheraton /holiday in express and they refunded me right away because of airport delays. If you want service or any compassion don’t book this hotel.. specially with how Pearson Airport is these days! You need flexibility. Very disappointed

Check in was delayed because of a system outage. Came back 5 hours later and only just came back on. Check in was smooth, until we got in our room to find out two peoples bags were already in there. Called reception back and they moved us (as this room was clearly already given to someone), upgraded our room to compensate for error. Issue is, we paid with best western points, so the room upgrade was the same cost of our original room, so didn't really matter anyways. A/C wouldn’t turn off either, had constant cold air blowing in face all night. As a Diamond Plus member, this is arguably the worst experience I have ever had at Best Western hotels.

A little disappointed about the stay overall. The room was ok. We were there because of an event and the iron in the room was old and didn't actually help to remove wrinkles. The pool was ok, the hot tub was cold, there were no chairs or towels in the pool area. When we asked for a chair to sit on the person just said he didn't know where the pool chairs went, shrugged and left. Had to ask a few times for towels. They tried to reset the pump for the hot tub but kept setting off a loud alarm. It was not a great experience. No tub in the room and only the one hook in the bathroom. Everything had to be draped over the counter. The restaurant serves breakfast only which was also very disappointing.

The room was spacious. Got the Kong with the jacuzzi. Didn't use the jacuzzi so no comment on that. The coffee machine in the room didn't work. They were pretty prompt to change it, not left the broken one on the bathroom counter for some reason. The coffee was terrible. There were two of us spending the night, we asked for more whiteners for the coffees. They gave one. We had to point out there were two of us drinking the coffee. Let alone they have a tray I'm the to with two coffee, two decaff and two teas. But they only give you creamers for one. Seems silly. Throw us creamers and the tip for the to goes from 5 dollars to 30 in the blink of an eye. It is such a little thing to offer and the rewards to the staff are so much greater. There a large seeming clean pool and weight room. (Didn't use either) No USB ports in the to or I'm the lights , most places are doing that now so the to instantly feels dated. This all together was a three star experience. I'm looking forward to going back and try the amenities and see if the rating improves

The cleanliness of the room was not great (layers of dust and coffee maker had last guests coffee in it). We had some other serious issues where we indicated that we were not staying our last evening. We were not offered another room as an option which we would have gladly taken since it was late and we were traveling with young kids.

I am so impressed with this hotel. Yes, I have certainly stayed at much nicer hotels BUT so far our service had been incredible. I made a huge mistake in booking a cheaper hotel, (the comfort Inn next-door). Upon arrival we discovered that the hotel was absolutely disgusting and there was no way my family was going to sleep there. I walked across to this best Western, and the man at checkout was absolutely wonderful to deal with. He quickly and easily found me a room for two nights that is perfect for my family. I am so appreciative!

For a best western plus, they sure failed in most cases.. 2 out of 3 ice machines are broken, only one out of two elevators are working. The rooms are dated and the carpets are loose and nasty looking. Then there is the shower, the base of the shower/tub feels like it has a giant water bubble underneath it. Which brings me to their pool, it's foggy and not looking the best... Not an enjoyable stay at all.. 😔 Definitely not holding up the best western plus designation....

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! The pillows in this room are fantastic!! They don't collapse once you touch them like a hot quiche out of the oven. Bed is comfortable. No sore back in the morning.

Easy reservation, pretty good available rooms for the shorter stay this time. The toilet would not flush, shower was 0 pressure to rinse hair. Guest services were great, kind and helpful and informative. But the room was not good for the rates they charged, breakfast not included, internet /wifi was not working with the little "codes" they tried.

Mildew the bathroom ceiling, aside from that, was pretty clean. Couldn't use gym or pool due to the covid restrictions, sadly.

I really don't know if it's just my luck or what. But you know the hotel did a bad job when you get into your room and know that it has been used by other people and wasn't cleaned good! My room was awfully disgusting!!! The bed's headboard was all dirty with hand prints on the top! There was hair on the bath tub! The toilt cover had dried urin! The bed sheets had stains! And there were two pills on the back end of the luggage rack! I feel very sad while writing this review, what a huge disappointment Best Westren!

I've probably given better ratings before, but Diamond status means we stay at this chain a lot, but our room looks ready for reno. The 30-inch square table and chair had no easy access to ANY power as a desk, the tub was scummy, probably because the shower pull-up was unusable, so anybody who wants to clean up in this room must take a bath fiddling with a dysfunctional bath stopper. The front desk gladly filled up or Kuerig cups for a 2nd morning here, and since COVID-19, room clean-up, clean towels isn't automatic... No biggie on that... I'd take that as an option. Free breakfast. I heard a new waffle maker on its way... Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the Walmart, which sells beer, etc.

Very disappointed with our week long stay. Front desk service was horrible. Room had a broken toilet, room was tided once the entire week and it was basic things like replaced towels. Vacuum and dusting not done. There was a family who allowed their kids to run the hallway all hours. Definitely won’t stay again and highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay!!
