    1) when we booking, breakfast was included. However, the breakfast was secretly removed from our booking without any notice. If we didn't make a screenshot as proof, we will 100% lose our breakfast. what kind of cheating! 2)The breakfast is not really free. They are waiters/waitress there...weird as 99% of hotel with free breakfast don't need them as service for buffet style breakfast. However, they are asking tips by giving your the $0 dollar bill! And they will "reminder" you. 3) Only 1 house keeping person per floor (while too many useless "$0 bill tips asking" waiters in restaurant). Difficult to get towel supply, while no daily cleaning service. 4) No drinkable water fountain or machine. you can ask for bottle water, but imagine you go to Toronto Zoo with only 1 bottle of water for a day 5) Different interpretations of policy between front and restaurant regarding the breakfast coupon. while front desk told you the one coupon per person for the duration of the stay but the waiters of restaurant insist one coupon per person per day. Confusing customers and make you running back and forth 6) Hardware problem: difficult to move the sliding door of the bathroom, very heavy and stuck there. The glass door of the shower can not be closed tightly as well so it was splashing water outside of shower base. 7) no TV

Enjoyed my visit and would return again next year. The hotel is a shared connected property with the Weston, Sheridan, Conference Centre and a Mall. The lobby is shared between the 2 hotels in a main common area between the two hotels. Have to enter through the middle entrance which looks like you are going into the Sheridan. There is a seating area and bar area as well as a Starbucks. We had a little issue checking into the hotel however Don at reception was amazing and made everything right and filled up with us. He shows that he likes his job and knows how to make people feel welcome. The Weston side of the hotel is the older of the buildings however has been very nicely renovated very recently. This portion is only 3 floors. The old reception area needs to be changed or removed to avoid confusion if you didn't read prior to your visit. The rooms were super clean almost as if it had never been used could not find a fault. Some people complain of the sliding bar door that covers the closet or the washroom however I kind of liked it. There is some noise however much more than you would hear from other hotels and this visit had been sold out. The rooms do include coffee/tea and maker, mini fridge, safe, large LCD screen. Room was a little dark even with all the lights, however lit in all the right places. Many facilities including shared gym, 3 pools one of them outside and lots more. Unfortunately only stayed briefly the one night and did not have a chance to see everything.

This is to all to consider. I checked in - dirty room, kids toys and cereal left behind. Yay play dough second hand. Phone! You think you can call service or anything? Nope, phone gives you a silent treatment. Much like the front desk. Actually the front desk was non existing upon checking out. Nobody was there. Nobody to direct you to your room. When I called from my phone googling the number of the front desk- saying room is dirty, they wanted to send cleaning crew, while I am on a meeting??!! And when next morning I called I was asked "why didn't you let us in to clean the room"?! Oh it's not the end, the 200$ deposit I was not aware of is not coming back to me as guaranteed- because I wouldn't sleep in those dirty sheets AND I tried to check out at 1am, was tired - went through an only available desk with people behind it - and it's on cameras! They DIDN'T CHECK ME OUT AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE ANY INFORMATION. Next morning they rolling me around different "managers/accounting" šŸ¤Ŗ on hold for like an hour in total, to get my 200$ back and the room I never stayed in as intended. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A DISREGARD AND DISRESPECT in my whole life of traveling!!!! They actually said to me - get your money (200) in person - who is going to get me 150$ Uber back and forth??? They roll you around like you do not exist. BEST WESTERN PARKWAY-WORST NEVER STAY HAPPEN.

Great service, fixed my complaints right away and made sure I was satisfied. I wish they had of kept the outdoor pool open longer since it was so hot out those days. I will definitely be back but would love a balcony next time. I also wish they had a map of the place so it was easier to get to the pool.

Overall good experience and I liked the way that they covered the bed with bed bug prevention sheet. I know the housekeeping is not easy but the cleanness of room could be better..my room had flies inside the room. And bit dusty in some spot. But hey, at least no bed bugs! Staffs I communicated were friendly and helpful. If cleanness gets improved, would be staying here again.

The location is very convention for food and fun! Itā€™s clean and it has a real gym! People are friendly, but the only thing to keep in mind is it might take some extra time to communicate with the front desk. The free parking lot is tight and packed, but itā€™s convenient!

The building is currently undergoing maintenance. There is wet paint in the hallways, masked by the smell of burning tar from a major roofing repair. First room we were offered as an upgrade had a balcony facing the roofing crew's gravel lift and tar boiler. The room's heat pump had exposed and unfinished wiring (safety hazard). We got a different room quickly thanks to a good lobby reception agent. The next room was a big improvement but still had unfinished exposed wires from the heat pump. We covered it with a recycling bin to keep it away from our dog. If you are bothered by the smell of burning tar (who isn't?), book somewhere else until the maintenance work is complete. The hallway still smells strongly of the tar. We are simply too tired at this point to re-book elsewhere but we may end up doing that tomorrow if it doesn't improve. This has been a huge disappointment as our experience with Best Westerns all over the world has been typically quite good.

A great place for the price. Renovated. Balcony rooms +++ and great facilities. Rooms have microwave and fridge for light meals and great room service from Restaurant at Sheraton attached to The Best Western Free parking, safe, light, accommodating staff, ease on late checkout and can even park outside your room to keep an eye out Comfy beds I've been to worse 5 star hotels

This best western is better than all the other one. Connected to the Sheraton and a health and fitness club, you have access to so many different sports, 2 inside pool and 1 outside pool, plus the restaurant with affordable tasty food. To be greasy the only thing that is missing to this place is a playground structure for 2-12 years old.

Happy with the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff however was not very friendly or helpful. We were evacuated from the hotel at 11:30pm due to a fire alarm. There was no guidance or direction from the front desk staff in the lobby. No announcement was made that we could return to our room and it wasn't until someone went up and asked one of the staff if we could return to our room that we were told anything. Maybe staff was u sure of any policy to follow during an emergency so maybe some staff training is in order? Our good sleep was disturbed and it was a very unrestful remainder of the night unfortunately.

At first the hotel seemed great. Modern lobby and great location. The first room I was put in (on a no smoking floor), smelt like cigarettes. I'm not talking about a slight smoke smell, the entire room stunk like tobacco and Mary Jane. I went up to the front desk and requested a different room. The lady told me she cannot guarantee the new room would be any better. The second room seemed fine at first but within 5 minutes found weird stains on the walls and office chair, the bed frame was broke, there was empty beer cans on the balcony, chewed gum stuck the the bed side table, hair on the bed which as not mine, trash under the night stand and an unopened condom on the floor. The room was disgusting. I do not recommend this hotel at all. As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe.

So glad I chose B.W over Sheraton since the price was much cheaper. The room we had was surprisingly quite spacious and clean. I asked for extra towels & had them in less than 10min, from the staff to the service, everything was on point. We will come back next time again, no doubt!

Family vacation for 2 nights. Very clean and modern or renovated look. Room had a bit of musty smell when we opened the door that seemed to clear itself in a few minutes. We had a room on the first floor which was convenient, but our door wall basically faced the parking plot with a car facing our room about 5 feet away which we could hear cars driving by at night, but this didn't affect our sleep. Location made it easy to get onto Hwy 7. I've stayed at like 6 or 7 hotels near this area, and it ranks in the middle and I would stay here again if the price is good which it was during our trip.

Got stuck in a dingy, windowless room. Door hinges creaked, not only on our bathroom and room doors, but room doors across the hallway. Very annoying. Also, seriously lacked hot water for the shower. Parking spots are narrow, and the lot itself is very small. Only good thing was the location as it was a short drive from our final destination. On their website, they rate themselves as a 3* hotel. 1.5 at best!

Booked a last minute reservation for a regular king room last night. I was upgraded to a larger room which was nice. However the room smelled of cigarettes, so did the hallway. Thankfully it had a sliding door and I had fabric fabreze spray. I tried to manage the smell on my own without any complaint about it to the hotel ā€¦ only to realize the bed sheets and pillows had different types of hair all over them. Also bugs on the night stand. I asked for fresh bed linen because I was grossed out by this. It took them over THREE hours and multiple calls to bring fresh linen. With those issues resolved, I finally got settled. In the morning I asked if I could extended my stay a night. The front desk said no they are all sold out of all rooms. However I only asked initially because there was availability online and there actually still is for tonight. Does this mean they just lied for convenience? I didnā€™t press this figuring thatā€™s probably best and decided to check out. Disappointing, inconsistent service.

Light sleepers bewareā€¦I understand you get what you pay for but man can you hear EVERYTHING in this hotel. And I donā€™t mean ā€œthere is a party next door so I will blame the hotelā€, I mean footsteps, vibrations, doors closing (not slamming) from floors above and below, vibrating windows when cars pass by outside, etcā€¦ That said, if youā€™re the type to stay up late, and on a budget, itā€™s a solid choice! The staff at breakfast were polite but I was reminded more than once that I was welcomed to leave a tip despite the fact that they didnā€™t do anything except clear our plates after. Even the coffee was self serve so I wasnā€™t sure what I was tipping for given they werenā€™t actually serving us. The rest of the staff were helpful, professional and friendly and the location was perfect for us however despite the positives, the paper thin walls, porous windows, and seemingly under-paid busboy keep my rating at a 3ā€¦

No front desk. Hallways reeked of pot and smokes. Air conditioner only cools to 21C; the reason being itā€™s hot outsidešŸ¤£. Fridge is filthy when I arrived in the room, took two days for housekeeping to come clean it. Exhaust fan didnā€™t work and when it was fixed, it was louder than a jackhammer. Booked housekeeping for Tuesday, didnā€™t happen til Friday cuz they ā€˜forgotā€™. Really baffled how they still call themselves ā€˜Bestā€™ anything.šŸ¤Æ

The good: modern, clean room. Bonus amenities because it's directly connected to the Sheraton as well as a fitness center. Also connected to a small mall with different food options. Starbucks! The staff from both hotels were always exceptionally friendly, especially the cleaning staff. The improveable: he barn door bathroom door. Because there's only crown molding at the bottom, there's a huge gap going up the side, and therefore, you hear everything from the bathroom. A simple flat molding piece might help this. Also, our hallway always smelled strongly of weed every morning.

From the outside it wasnā€™t impressive but the rooms were nice and clean. The lost star is from from the bathroom/closet door. They are both in one and was very difficult to make it shut on the bathroom side and when you got it most the way shut you had to muscle it open which I was only one that could open it. I was going to lose a star because there was no grab and go and the indoor pool wasnā€™t opened. I understand that with COVID rules the pool couldnā€™t be open and this wasnā€™t the only best western location that didnā€™t warn us about this. Some places we have stayed at you would book 30 minute intervals to swim in the pool with only your family which worked well. It should advertised on the website or on your reservation the pool with be closed. Itā€™s frustrating when you pack your swimming gear to find out you can use the pool or hot tube. At Least the outdoor pool was open and that was a nice plus which put my rating back to 4 stars. Grab and go should be the same thing. I know the website says varies by hotel but list the hotels that will not honour this program because that is a big reason why I will or will not pick the location.

Charlene D'Souza is the Loyalty Ambassador for the Best Western Parkway Hotel in Markham. She gave us the warmest welcome ever. We got several upgrades and a Loyalty gift that was very much appreciated. After having dozens of Company events here over several years, we are grateful for the standard of excellence in all areas of Hospitality. Excellent gourmet food in house with superior quality ingredients.

This is one of the best BEST WESTERN locations. Better than the ones in States. Clean and hygienic as well. Check in is from Sheraton side.

We have stayed there during New Year. The inside of the room was really comfortable. We liked interior decorations. However, the carpet construction near our room was disruptive, with the loud machinery preventing a restful stay. Considering the availability of other rooms, it was disappointing to be placed in close proximity to ongoing construction. We kindly request that such situations be avoided in the future. It's not understandable for any customers to suffer from this anymore. Thanks

The person that checked me in was friendly, she offered me water when I arrived. She and the rest of the staff referred to me as sir or Mr. Rolland. The cleaning woman was friendly and accommodating. Other staff I had contact with was friendly. My room was upgraded without me having to ask. The bed was comfortable. My only issue was that the channel that was supposed to connect to streaming services didn't connect but that to me is minor. Friendliness of staff is important to me.

Terrible setup and service. I booked online but they were somehow sold out when I got there so they punted me over to another hotel and was charged deposit twice. Trying to get my invoice and stay posted to my Best Western rewards is like pulling teeth neither side really knows what's going on. What a mess.

No heat in room as the thermostat is locked down- can arrow up to 27degrees but wouldnā€™t go above 18 , called for service at front desk while out for dinner - came back to room registering 12 degrees and fan blowing frigid cold air at approx 1 am. We ran a hot shower for 2 hrs to warm room and slept in clothes and winter jackets on bed. Called for a late check out due to lack of sleep and front desk attempted to negotiate down the hour that I was asking for and finally hung up on me. I average 100 nights plus yearly with mostly Best Western or Marriot across Ontario. This was the worst I can recall. Oh yes- no remote for tv as well

Stayed at this hotel for one night because I was in town for a concert. The location was practical because it is 20 min away from downtown Toronto & the prices for rooms are also much cheaper than some hotels, especially those downtown. The service was good & staff were kind & helpful so I have no complaints. The only thing I didn't like was that the walls are super thin, meaning you can hear everything. I got woken up by people talking super loud in the hallway but I understand that it not the fault of the hotel but more disrespectful fellow hotel guests.

Standard 1 room with 2 double beds was well kept and staff were very friendly. Room service was fast ! We had calamari with seafood sauce , truffle fries with garlic aioli, various cakes and 6 inch pizza hut pizzas in variety of flavours. Great location and you can also go to the Sheraton Hotel to use their pool . Highly recommended

This was a surprisingly good hotel to stay at. It exceeded my expectations. I had some repairs to get done at my condo and needed to be out of the condo. I quickly booked this location, with my dog, and had a great, 2-night stay. The hotel was clean, the room was very comfortable and most of all, the hotel staff was truly awesome!! Fantastic service. I usually stay in 5-star hotels as I travel often for work (to the U.S.) and was amazed at how the service here was better than in the more expensive hotels where I pay more than 2x the overnight rate. I highly recommend this location!

The hotel was so quiet and it was the best thing about it. The room service was nice everytime we came back the room was super clean. The location was not the best, specially if you need to travel to downtown Toronto. The worst thing about the hotel was the night shift reception, he was so rude, we booked two different rooms since we were two families and when I asked him politely if we could book another night he was so rude, and said it was impossible to book a room in person and we have to book it online. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE šŸ¤Ø? We searched online for the extra night we couldnā€™t book any and in the morning the other reception said it was definitely possible and they have a room in the next door hotel (Sheraton) but we had to cancel all our plans since we thought we donā€™t have a room anymore. Although the rooms were clean, I am thinking about 3 star because the only point of a hotel is the accommodation and not giving you stress only because one of the employees had a bad day and decided to be rude. One more problem was the indoor parking which was far away from the Hotel, and there were not enough out door parkings at night. There was another negative point to this hotel, there was no ramp to take your luggage and you had to lift everything on the stairs.

The hotel is very well kept & the location is perfect. An issue that came up during checkin was handled with professional presence of the amazing Vanessa. It was a very busy day & she did a wonderful job handling everything with grace & tact. I would stay again.

Advertised as newly renovated but the amenities like pool are very worn down still, functional items in rooms like AC, TV, alarm clock and phone all dirty and old. Staff is very nice and polite, room was clean. Room seemed very bare too, like there was furniture and decor missing

Rooms are clean and quiet. The wifi is fine. Location is convenient, but if you're driving be aware that the parking lot is extremely busy(although we always found a spot).

Front desk attendant was quick to get us checked in after arriving after 1am due to delay flights. Accidentally put the wrong sign on our door handle and was lectured by the cleaning lady the next day. No one was mad that she accidentally walked in, weā€™re pretty easy going people. But what got me was the second time she knocked, to lecture me that we had the sign on the wrong side, and that it wasnā€™t her fault. We didnā€™t blame her for anything the first time but came back with an attitude stating that we were the ones to blame.

Itā€™s not the first time I came here , third time if I remember well. Before Covid itā€™s excellent because hot breakfast are included in the price. The location are perfect because itā€™s far enough from downtown, less busy but near all highway. Itā€™s a good place to stay just for sleep after a big day on the road. The room get a refresh from the past, air conditioning are powerful, the mattress are soft (I want firmer than that), pillow are way too high. Parking are way too small to accommodate Best Western and Sheraton just beside. Donā€™t comeback after 9PM you gonna regret it. The staff are friendly and helpful, check in or checkout are fast. Last year we stay at Sheraton just beside and we love it but this we want to see if Best Western are good enough at our needs. Generally we are satisfied nothing to really complaints. Our room are located in basement we prefer something higher but not available.

I donā€™t usually do reviews but I figured this place had a special spot. AC didnā€™t work upon entrance into room but it was fixed after about 2 hours of sweat. Rooms arenā€™t too bad as it looks modern. They said complimentary breakfast but found out it was $22 a person, when we all got to the restaurant, the Asian guy was rude and treated us like we didnā€™t belong there. Pools looked great and the girl on that section was VERY welcoming. The receptionist was a type of smart-Aleck respectfully . This is just the way how I seen everything at this place. Itā€™s all in my opinion. Prices were great for the rooms but a little misleading . Itā€™s the meaning of ā€œu get what you pay forā€ but In BOLD

We didn't had the greatest experience in this location. We stayed for 7 nights and unfortunately i wish we would stayed somewhere else. The house keeping staff is 10/10 i have to give them that. Absolutely clean as it could get. However, we had an important package sent to us with our name and room number. And at 11pm i was asked by the sender if everything is ok with it, i told him we never received it. Quick call to the receptionist, and i was told nothing was received.... make sure they have the correct information. I instantly checked and they had the correct address as well as our name and room number. After showing that to the receptionist. 4 min after the package was delivered to our room. Even with all of that, they didn't offer us anything for the inconveniences. For the price they changed us for 6 nights i would expect more. I don't want to "shame" anyone. But most likely we will not be back to B.W

The rooms were very clean and modern, though the beds were smaller than what we anticipated out of the advertised queen sized beds. We also had to pull the room door to ensure it was shut. The service was a bit unsatisfactory, as our room was not ready when it was check in time that we had to wait in the lobby for an hour. There was several people waiting at the concierge.

What a disappointment. I have been in many Best Westerns within the USA because they are outstanding. Sadly this Canadian outlet was just a huge let down. That lampshade should have been caught by staff. And the shade was filthy. 1 of the 2 ceiling lights didn't work. Even though I reported it to front desk going out, it still wasn't working upon my return. The towels were thin & rough. When I enquired about breakfast I was told that was for "Gold" members only .. well excuse me.

Reserved room for 2 nights. First thing I noticed was 1 of the beds had a big indentation in the middle, felt like I was sinking into the bed...did not sleep well at all. I figured I'd deal with it since you get what you pay mentality was in my head. Then in the middle of the night the AC goes out but by that time it was so late I wasn't in the mood to deal with front desk. The next morning I spoke with manager Prateet and he was very helpful and accomodating. He saw the irritated look on my face and upgraded me to a different room next door. Thank you!

My only comment is about the main entrance that was closed at night. We had to enter through Sheraton. Everything else was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were nice for what you paid for especially if you can get a good deal. However, some areas seemed dusty and haven't been cleaned in a while. This past trip the room had a faint BO smell lingering and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from but it was definitely not pleasant. Overall it's a good hotel but don't expect it to be luxurious or anything

  • 3/5 Lee J. 6 months ago on Google
The room was quiet and comfortable. However, one of the amenities being advertised was misleading. For EV Charging I was directed to 2 stations owned by the city, but also monopolized by city vehicles. I was counting on this charging for the next hop in my trip, and it was the deciding factor when booking there. The chargers are a good 15 minute walk from the hotel and the 4 times I checked them they were in use. In some locations when booking the hotel, a complimentary breakfast is advertised. This is also false. When I book a hotel that advertises an amenity as THEIRS, I expect it to be THEIRS. I will be very skeptical with what Best Western advertises in the future.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly. I cleaned my own room to help them and they gave me more coffee lol! Close to wonderland and downtown TO. Took the toll road not realizing I would get a bill in the mail but it was only $54 so definitely worth it with that horrible Toronto traffic. Would definitely stay here again. 2 pools, one inside and one outside. Lovely dining room and poolside food place too! My only complaint is you have to go to the adjacent building to sign in at the Sheraton. Seems odd but not horrible. Just awkward with luggage.

I stay here for 2 night. I will not stay here if I checked the google review first. Iā€™m the person who is falling in sleep as soon as I touched the pillow. But I have 2 night here like I did not have a totally sleep. First, the noise comes from the bathroom ventilation fan likes a tractor. Second, the door connected to next guest room inside my room is nothing like a wall. 1st night I heard 4 kids screaming and laughing in midnight and last for a hour. 2nd night there is 2 ladyā€™s came in midnight and kept talking a loud.

The rooms are super clean and up to date however the walls are thin as paper. We can hear people going to the bathroom, talking, showering and even smell someone smoking. We tried to have the TV to tune out the noise. The AC is pretty loud but still hear people on the other side of the walls. The frontier count gentleman was very friendly. As busy as he is, he still took his time to explain everything to us.

It's 3am now and I can't sleep at all because my room is sooo badļ¼Œthe room smell soooo bad too. The photo of the room I booked was totally different from what I got. There is nowhere written that the first floor of this hotel is semi-underground. My room had no windows, the air conditioner was terribly loud, and there was a stench without the air conditioner. Because of the flight, I didn't arrive until two in the morning, but when I paid online, it was noted that I would be late. I just entered the room for ten minutes, I asked to change the room, and it was said that there was no room available? ? But my reservation is obviously not like this, just because I arrived late, only the worst room is left? But I clearly paid, why can't I reserve it?

I loved my stay at the Richmond Hill, best western. The staff is always on point as it relates to the service and the maintenance. Sean the manager, was really diligent in ensuring that our long stay was met with the best room for me and my family. In addition, he would check up on us to see if we were still comfortable making sure that we were happy all the time. The hotel was clean, the food was good, from the restaurant and is priced fairly for the quality that is delivered. Very convenient location, close to all the essentials and the 404. I love this place and everytime I pass by I always remember to the good memories that were built. Will.never hesitate to go back and stay!! Highly recommended

Old hotel but has had some recent renovations to make it look better. Staff were friendly and rooms were mostly clean (shower had a bit of orange build up in it). Beds and pillows were REALLY soft. Sports teams were running amok all over, loud voices and banging on walls until around midnight. Price was good and the on-site basketball court. Pool, gym, and hot tub were highlights of the trip. The outdoor parking was a MAJOR issue-around 10pm there wasn't a single spot available until someone eventually left

Kailey at the front desk was absolutely amazing during my stay! Due to landing in Toronto around 7am, Kailey was able to do an earlier check-in for my friend and I and on top of that she gave us both a voucher to the restaurant in the Best Western for breakfast! She was also extremely helpful with giving us information on how to get around Toronto taking the bus/train. She went above and beyond for us and to experience such incredible customer service was so refreshing... give this girl a raise!!!

We stayed there for two nights, jun 13-15 room was good , Bed was very comfortable. Got to the pool with our cooler on the first day and was told in no uncertain terms that there should be no outside food or drink allowed by the pool ( so donā€™t bring kids as they snack every 10 minutes) and the food prices are extortionate The next day I brought the cooler down as well as our luggage as we had checked out , i have to take medication in the morning with food , when I asked what time I could buy food they said 11am so I said I had a banana in my bag , the lady said she would have to watch me take the medication and then take the cooler off me ??? I felt like small child in front of tue other guests around the pool , humiliated When you have already spent hundreds on a room there why does it matter? And do they really have to humiliate people and confiscate bags ?? Itā€™s too much again DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN

Service is below average as there is no front desk representative. Instead you have to walk and use the Sheraton front desk. Also, the hallways are a bit run down. Fortunately the rooms are reasonably nice. However, the fact that this is connected to the Parkway fitness facilities which has Squash, Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Lockers, extensive gym, badminton, ping pong, and food/bar makes up for a lot especially for the price point.

Staff was super friendly, room was incredibly clean, shower worked excellent, beds were really comfortable and the prices were great. What more could I ask for? I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm out that way. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures here.

We booked for the King room with Balcony at the BW. I knew that we had made a late-night booking so to be sure our reservation could be tracked I offered to share the reservation code at check-in. Manager at the time, Sal Hassan, refused to accept the reservation code, assuring he had found our booking. Before we could confirm the room type he had created keys for our room. It wasnā€™t long before I was back downstairs in the lobby, speaking with Sal again. By this time, I had learned that the room I chose and paid for was not where I was staying and I asked to be re-located. My request to be re-located was met with a upgrade fee and 30 minutes of gas-lighting, between the manager and his staff. Beware!

The only reason why Iā€™m giving this hotel two stars itā€™s because of some of the staff that where sweet and the cleaning lady. First off, I called two days prior to know if breakfast was included in the price I paid and the lady at the front desk told me that it was. When we get there, the lady tells us that itā€™s not included. I told her that we called so she decided to give us breakfast for 2 days out of the 3. Secondly, our room was in a dark basement with no lights coming from outside. The room was much smaller than the picture showed online when we booked. We were there on a coupleā€™s trip in the put in the basement with a bunch of kids running and screaming all day. Thirdly, they gave us two keys and only one was working. So we couldnā€™t leave the room separately. Lastly, there was a bunch of fruit flies in the room (we had no fruits in the room)

The location was perfect being right off the highway, made it really easy to travel to different places in Toronto. Easy access to Tim Hortons and Starbucks. Pool wasn't the greatest I have been to, but was a nice addition to staying there. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of parking available. Lots of storage space in room, safe, mini fridge, coffee maker etc. Had a good stay there, good customer service was always available.

First I will say the service at the front desk is amazing and the overall friendliness of the hotel staff was phenomenal. However, I was very disappointed in the rooms and the altercation which took place in the pool area. The room, which I upgraded for the balcony was very disappointing. The balcony is not a balcony at all and should be described as more of a sliding door with a railing which is probably less than a foot wide. It was so small that you can't even fit a chair facing outward and that was if you had a chair out there in the first place which did not come with our room. The bathroom door is brutal, it doesn't shut fully, the lock was broken and couldn't be used as the gap between the door and wall was way too wide. Nice concept but not practical. Now for the altercation that happened in the spa area. This hotel connects to another hotel that apparently has "members" who have access to the amenities on a daily basis. These members are so incredibly rude and treated our children, who were swimming and extremely behaved, so terrible that the kids decided to leave the area and swim outside in the rain, at which we were followed and tortured again by one specific member who continued to talk down to not only our kids but the rest of the parents as well at how we don't belong here and kids don't deserve to be in the same area and use the pool they do? We paid to be there, we were not doing a thing wrong and were treated that way? We then left the pool area completely and decided to have lunch in the bar area where the kids played pool and again were followed by that same person who then went to the front desk and complain about absolutely nothing and call us names. I had enough and confronted them at which they were asked to leave by your own staff who then thanked me because they had advised this member in particular does this daily. How is this ok and how do they still have a membership? Because of this particular incident I am hesitant to return. It was embarrassing and so disrespectful. With that being said, the staff members who were there at the time were amazing. The one woman who was working the front desk was also serving us all afternoon because it was short staffed and she worked so hard. We were very impressed and she had also mentioned to us how amazing our kinds were and respectable they were. This needs to be addressed with the members you have that use the amenities. Review your camera footage at the front desk spa entry Aug 30th.

I want to should out Kayla Mcleod - who is managing the Sheraton as well as the Best Western (they are linked in the building). I had my booking for Best Western, and she made the check in process super seamless. After going into the room though, there were a few issues. I went back and highlighted what the issues were, and without asking, Kayla was generous enough to check what she could do for me. She went above and beyond in making my stay super comfortable and enjoyable, even without being asked. I really appreciate her efforts. She found a room at the Sheraton for me and came with me to check it out to ensure that it was good/safe to stay in. I genuinely was touched and humbled by the help she provided, and she is the reason I would come back. Kayla made my experience one of the best hotel experiences, and she did this without even being asked. Thank you Kayla, I really loved and appreciated my stay thanks to your hospitality!!

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable. The hotel location is very near to the Time Square mall around which full of different types of restaurants and food stalls.

Stayed there 2 nights and only paid around $230 total. Every time I walked by a cleaner, Iā€™d be greeted with big smiles. The room was also newly renovated I believe as it was gorgeous and top notch. Highly recommend for a budget room and great service!

Staying here was a great experience! Everyone at the front desk was friendly, professional, and courteous. The gentlemen at the front were extremely helpful when I needed to switch rooms after checking in and discovering a persistent strong cleaning solution scent in the room. The next room I was in was perfect and the room matched the photos on the website. Plus the gym was spacious! It was also extremely conveniently located. I would stay here again the next time I am in the area.

Stayed here for two nights. Customer service at the front desk was very friendly and the housekeepers were very nice with giving us extra towels and shampoo. The room was not super spacious but everything was clean and tidy; bedding was to my liking. The lighting was a bit dim in the room and you can hear people chatting in the hallways, but night time, there was no noise issue at all. Nonetheless, overall, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Overall an excellent value for money. The rooms are modern and recently renovated. They include things like a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge which oddly are missing at some hotels. Everything in the room worked correctly and the rooms were very very clean (seriously, some hotels have TV screens with weird "juice" on the front of them, the TV here was pristine). Unlike other customers, the door to the washroom wasn't a big deal to me. I do like sliding barn doors. It doesn't, however give much privacy or stop noise but that doesn't matter to me. Check-in was a bit weird since you have to go to the Sheraton connected next door but that's fine. Save time when you check-in and go directly to the Sheraton! Overall a good hotel.

Will never book a 2 night stay here again. The first night I booked I ended up sleeping in my car because the hotwire app said nothing about having to pay by credit card for the deposit. I called multiple times to see if we could fix something since my credit limit was used up even though I made a payment right away after finding out it still would not post to my account for 24 hours. Pearl the lady at the front desk assured me there was abso nothing you guys could do to help me out. I tried to get a refund on hotwire and they could not help. So I get here the next day and my card declined so I told her I would have to come back in the afternoon because the payment didnt go through yet. And she tells me I can pay the deposit through debit at a higher cost!!!!! So while I was sleeping in my car hours away from home I could have been in the room I PAYED FOR. I'm beyond disgusted and my whole trip was ruined.

Booked for Best Western and got upgraded to the Sheraton upon arrival for no extra cost. Charged Best Western's rate of $25 instead of Sheraton's ($50) pet fee. Nice polite staff and beautiful rooms and facilities.
