    This review is for 140 & 160 Erskine Avenue. These buildings may look charming, spacious plus affordable given the neighborhood - but don't let that fool you. This place has gone wildly downhill and the rental office staff is incredibly difficult to deal with. All they do is communicate to you in circles. Especially if you want to speak to someone at a higher level. I've also witnessed the staff blatantly arguing and yelling at each other on more than one occasion. Aside from that, there's constant drilling within the building and around the building that never ends Monday to Sunday at all hours. You'll also accumulate so much dust inside due to all the drilling and there's no ventilation in this place at all. To top it off, there's an asbestos problem in the popcorn ceiling and parquet flooring. These units need to be badly upgraded and renovated for the times. And don't let their use of the word 'renovated' fool you either. It's a hack job, last minute fix. We had to get our bathtub re-glazed the first week we moved in because the wrong glaze was used causing more damage to the tub that we'd probably have been responsible for had I not requested numerous times that it get completed properly. The rental office also tried to charge us for having a small A/C unit only to learn that we had to remove them for the entire summer due to balcony construction. The list goes on! Any 5-4 star reviews on here are simply pointing out the amenities that present day are not kept up. Stay away from this rental company in general.

    Nice complex but with very high prices and a luck of public transportation. However my experience with the company was terrible. I will never rent again from them. The stuff is beyond rude and unprofessional.

    So after reducing the hours of the pool to ~8 hours a day post covid, the building received a "Conditional Pass" for the swimming pool on the 22nd of June and the city re-inspected and closed the pool on the 3rd of August. You had ONE JOB. Now the pool is closed during a heatwave - again. (this happened a few years ago for different reasons). Unacceptable! But of course no rent credit for services paid for buy not rendered.

    (140 & 160 Erskine Ave) Most of the opinions are negative but I personally don't see those things from my side. Management has helped me with issues before and they've been very polite every time. The amenities are nice, the outside of the buildings are really pretty, elevators are actually pretty fast, the renovations that they are doing are really making this place look even better, and location is extremely convenient. Everything!!! Is walking distance and nights are pretty quiet compared to where I used to live. The suites do have some ants, but if you are clean, handy, and resourceful that turns into something manageable. I highly recommend this place to live. People only write about the bad stuff, but there are really good things this place has to offer that people don't write about.

    I hope you love parties cause it's 2:40am in the morning and myself and other neighbors have called the super/head office multiple times and yet there's people drinking in the lobby and garden being extremely disturbing, and the party room music is so loud I can feel it through my floor :) good job Last party in the party room one of the guests broke through my window and when I asked for the tapes they told me the cameras outside were fake and didn't work so there goes the safety too.

    Honestly would give this company 0 stars if I could. I’ve lived here for the past two years and it’s honestly been the worst living experience of my life. There’s an extreme mould issue in the apartments I had to throw out so much stuff due to mold exposure. I’ve been stuffy and sneezing all the the time just from the mold itself. Every morning I usually have a sore throat. Very extreme cockroach infestation. They will climb on your food, take over your dressers, cabinets, cupboards, they’ll even takeover the entire bathroom at night. I’ve never seen so many roaches at once, it’s honestly horrible you won’t feel comfortable at all times. Ants are also a large issue you will see tons of them everywhere. Also many times where there is no hot water or heat in the apartment. There’s a small electric heater in all apartments that is basically useless. Even if you tell them your apartment is freezing cold they’ll just come test the wall with a thermometer and tell you that the temperature is fine. Worst rental company ever. The women working in the office never help with any issue or answer any questions directly. They always just redirect you to email the property manger who’s almost impossible to get in touch with. Beware I’m warning anyone that’s thinking about moving here please don’t for your own good! Don’t even let the rent promotions or offers they use to entice you end up persuading you to get trapped into a one year lease here.

    Giving 2 stars, reason, I just called their management office about the avaliable bachelor unit they have avaliable for December 1st. The management lady hung the phone 📱 up on me. Poor customer service there. Must not speak or understand English there. Will not recommend.

    Extremely difficult to talk to them over the phone because they cannot hear you most of the time, and their excuse they cannot do anything about their phone. At least I was able to get the information that I was looking for. But seriously a good phone system is very important in business and you can definitely do something about it.
