I do not recommend this clinic. I’ve been a patient of Dr Amin for years. She started out great and for the past 3 years, she’s been unreliable to the serious detriment of my health. She routinely skips phone appts and doesn’t even rebook. Imagine waiting a couple weeks for an appt, having her not call you, then being told you need to wait for a new appt slot a couple weeks later. Faxes don’t get given to her or she ignores them. Requests from referred to doctors for more results get ignored. Rx renewals don’t get processed. I suffer under her care despite being someone who can advocate for themself. I wonder how the elderly or anyone else who is unable to self advocate can survive. Super disappointing. Front desk staff seem helpless. They can’t force her to keep appts. I’m writing this review at 5am, after waking up at 4am in the middle of the night, crying because I feel so helpless. The amount of stress Dr Amin is adding to my life is unbelievable. I’ve never written a bad review for a doctor before in my life but I’m done giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Horrible clinic. Dr. Amin is the worst!!!!!!!!! She is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The staff are dishonest and rude. They are unorganized. Please for the love of God this is not the right way to treat people and patients. I wish Dr. Amin could see this and make a change in her way of treating patients. She completely disregarded and disrespected my concerns, was consistently late to my appointment. The receptionists kept missing my appointments. I truly wish nobody gets hurts like I did.

I have been a client at Bayview Medical Centre for 8+ years, and cannot stress enough how terrible the experience has become. Dr Amin is consistently running late for appointments, resulting in my appointments being cancelled or rescheduled numerous times. The receptionists don't seem to have ANY idea what is going on, nor do they seem to care in the slightest. If you are reading this review, I would recommend going to another doctor if you want someone reliable and professional. As soon as I get my referral from this appointment (if it ever happens) I am most certainly going to find a new healthcare provider.

Dr. Kaplansky is the best family doctor I've ever had. Highly recommend.

I’ve been with this clinic for at least 7 years. We were able to stand this clinic because we don’t get sick that much so we don’t have to deal with them frequently. But trust me, I’ll stay away from this clinic. Our doctor is okay, but the receptionists and nurses are the worse! They are condescending and rude in every way possible. And yes, I’m posting my name publicly because I am confident the speak the truth. Too bad there are some good doctors there but the staff has reached my limit and I look forward to finding a new doctor so I wouldn’t have to deal with these rude front staff.

During my almost four-year tenure as Dr. Amin's patient, I encountered a concerning lack of follow-up on my symptoms. Despite expectations based on experiences shared by friends regarding doctor-patient communication, I never received any check-ins or inquiries about my well-being. Rather than personally engaging or checking in on my progress, the communication was relayed through the secretary, informing me, 'The doctor says you're good!' Additionally, some members of the clinical staff exhibited rudeness by abruptly ending phone calls, which was compounded by a mistake on their part with reassurances like, 'It happened, don't worry.' These instances collectively created a disappointing and disconcerting experience for me as a patient.

Excellent care from Dr. Kaplansky and his receptionists (Savannah, Nana, Reena (sp?) Keep these ladies and give them (and him) a raise. I highly recommend this medical centre. Excellent care and support.

My doctor told me that I can walk in for a nurse to read my TB test result. I was so disappointed with the way a nurse treated me there as I was a walk in patient. She explained with a bossy and unfriendly tone. That was not the way everyone would want to be treated. Never want to see her again. I would not recommend this clinic for my friends and family. Even though I love my family doctor, Dr. Jamkhou. I still don’t want to get the same experience with a nurse there. I’ve decided to find a new family physician at another medical clinic.

I’ve been Dr Amin’s patient at wellness clinic since 3 months ago! I got a very good result so far! She is the best!
