Lovely classic Italian spot in midtown Toronto. The design and menu feels a little dated but it's a great spot for groups and families. Their pastas are better than their pizza in my opinion. Prices are fair for the portion sizes.

My friend brought us here for my wife’s birthday and this is a great restaurant for Italian food and especially to celebrate a birthday, and it was fantastic. Firstly the Italian cuisine and the quality of ingredients were superb. Their breads, salads and mains were superb. However the highlights in their food were the baked goat cheese salad and the giovanni pizza. I will come back and have these 2 items again for sure. The staff are very courteous and they even sang the Italian version of the birthday song. A great place to celebrate. This has become one of our favourites now and could not recommend this place enough.

Amazing food and hospitality. We highly recommend the pasta dishes which are cooked fresh with quality ingredients and amazing flavour. My personal favourite is the seafood marinara. The pasta is al dente, the tomato sauce is very flavorful and seafood is very sweet. Will definitely come back.

Neighborhood gem for Italian. Have been dining here for years and always consistently great food. I usually go for the pizza and my wife for the pasta. Decent wine selection as well. Service and staff are very friendly!

Came for dinner with a friend. We both felt that it was Too pricey and hyped for nothing. The pastas were bland. The staff was very busy and therefore not the friendliest. My pasta was undercooked and was replaced hence the 2 star else it would have been 1. Not sure how I feel about going again.

This place is a gem! Though the waiter forgot to give us olive oil for the bread at first, he later prepared and introduced us the hidden special spicy oil for it, which we loved it! Ordered the most popular pasta and the pizza Giovanni. Food is awesome. Service is excellent as he knew we are sharing our food, pasta came in two separate plates, one for each of us. The recommended creme brule cheesecake is very good and so natural that the combination seems meant to be together. I will definitely go again and again!

A Pleasant Dining Experience at Grazie Ristorante I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grazie Ristorante, an Italian restaurant that left a positive impression overall. I awarded it a solid 4/5 stars, reflecting my overall satisfaction with the experience. The ambiance at Grazie is warm and inviting, with a charming decor that sets the stage for a cozy meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing helpful recommendations on both the menu and wine selection. Speaking of the menu, Grazie Ristorante boasts a diverse array of Italian dishes, showcasing a commitment to authentic flavors and quality ingredients. From classic pasta dishes to innovative seafood options, the menu caters to a variety of tastes. The presentation of each dish was visually appealing, contributing to the overall dining experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the flavorsome cuisine. The dishes were well-executed, showcasing a balance of traditional Italian recipes with a modern twist. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces demonstrated a rich depth of flavor. The dessert selection was equally impressive, offering a delightful conclusion to the meal. While Grazie Ristorante delivered on many fronts, there were a few minor areas where improvement could enhance the overall experience. The pacing of the courses was slightly inconsistent, and the noise level in the restaurant, particularly during peak hours, may be a consideration for those seeking a quieter dining atmosphere. In conclusion, Grazie Ristorante is a noteworthy establishment for those seeking an authentic Italian dining experience. With its appealing ambiance, attentive service, and delectable cuisine, it stands as a solid choice in the realm of Italian restaurants. My 4/5 star rating reflects my overall satisfaction, and I would certainly recommend it to fellow enthusiasts of Italian cuisine.

What a fantastic experience! Went here for lunch with my friend. Got the Giovanni pizza and spicy oil. Had a Caesar salad to start. The food here is so good! I can’t recommend it enough. The place is cozy and warm. But also the service is always so good! The people are kind and nice and attentive. If I could give more stars I would!

Excellent experience in a rare bright Italian restaurant on a busy lunch time. A party of four had two types of pizza and two pastas. Loved the savoury dishes and one of kind pizzas.

ROSES: The food is delicious, so are the desserts apparently, the pizzas looked divine. The vegetarian options are diverse and tasty. The staff is kind and loving, clean and professional. You can reserve a table on their website from Monday through Thursday. I expected that place to be a bit more expensive. I’m a little surprised by the affordable prices, it makes me like the restaurant even more. The staff came to sing Happy Birthday 🎂 to a young tetraplegic customer, it was lovely. But I don’t remember if the access was easy for her wheelchair. You can eat at the counter (it’s clean, nice and very spacious. And the bartender behind the counter is very nice.) They let you have a doggy bag, no matter how small your leftovers are. And it’s nicely packed! One last rose: the toilets are downstairs. THORNS: The place is very crowded and loud. I’m glad there was no music on top of that. The toilets must be fixed. I went to one where the door was too big for its frame so it could not be shut. I stayed there for 15 minutes and lucky for me no one else came down to the toilets while I was there. BUDS: I suggest this place should sing “Happy birthday” in Italian instead of just English and that the vegetarian options should be indicated on the menu with a 🌱 symbol, so that I know right away where to look.

I used to have a very bad experience in one Italian restaurant 3 years ago, which stopped me from exploring more about Italian cuisine. My friends brought me to Grazie and this time changed my mind:) We went to the place as a group of 6 and had chances to try different dishes. All orders turned out so good. We just couldn’t complain anything even though the kitchen messed up with our orders a bit. Servers were smiling all the time and very responsive. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other same tier restaurants. This “ristorante” should be given 5 stars and is definitely a place to be recommended.

Love the Baked Goat Cheese Salad! The servers were nice! I and my friend asked to recommend dish because it was first time to visit for us. We ordered what he recommended and these dishes were perfect! :> The interior design was cool as well.

I was really in the mood for some authentic tomato sauce pasta over the weekend and stumbled upon Grazie during my search. The picture of their Penza immediately caught my eye, and I knew I had to give it a try. Turns out, it's one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. No fancy stuff—just a hearty, creamy tomato sauce with a spicy kick from the pancetta. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente, making the whole experience luscious. 🍝✨ We also ordered the Nato pizza, which was good and had a crispy bottom, but let's be honest, it was overshadowed by the Penza. Next time, I'll definitely save my appetite for their pasta. The service was great—attentive and welcoming. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Update: We went back and we could not be more delighted with their complimentary bread as well, served slightly warm and yummy. Upon or request we were also brought an olive oil-vinegar dip. 👌 Fun, lively location. We appreciated the food and the friendly service. The appetizer focaccia bread is huge, and the same could be actually said by all their plates. Great drinks. Wish the complimentary bread was served warm. The salty butter was a nice touch, but olive oil and salt would have worked even better 👌

Excellent food. Came here on a busy weekend with couple of my friends and was able to get a table within 5 minutes. The food didn’t take much time to arrive on our table. Scrumptious fine food with good quantity. The hospitality was also exceptional. Will be my regular dine-in places from now on.

We had a lovely night here, it was my first time. Enjoyed the red wine immensely (I ordered Merlot), the pasta was al dente with tasty sauce. For dessert we ordered tiramisu and cream brûlée cheesecake, the tiramisu was a little too sweet for me but the cheesecake was heavenly. 😇🥹😊

We visited here for lunch and it was a nice experience. The server was lovely and extremely nice, the interior is very friendly and cozy, their wine selection is great as well and they have a beer and cocktail menu as well. They will bring a bread basket for you as well. The pastas were really creamy and tasty, everything tasted amazing. It was a nice experience overall, definitely will come back to taste the rest of the menu.

Great Italian food. Tons of options available. Nice atmosphere inside. I ordered the penza pasta, dessert, and a cappuccino for dinner. They also serve freshly baked bread with olive oil that is complementary. If you are planning to make a trip here, note that it does get busy in the evenings. Try to call and RSVP ahead.

Nice Italian restaurant. We ordered 3 dishes and enjoyed them a lot. Our favourite would be Tasca pasta with fresh pasta filled with ricotta, spinach, mushrooms & brie baked in a creamy tomato porcini sauce. We wanted to try Tiramisu but sadly, they’re not available. Would be coming back to try other dishes!

I had such an amazing experience having dinner here. The cocktails were great. The mussels were a delicious starter and the pasta was just too good for words. On top of that, the host and waiter were the most welcoming people. Thank you for such a pleasant first experience dining here

I've been going here for years now, and one thing I would say is that their pasta always tastes fresh and delicious. Got the Brunello and Milano pasta dish.. both meals were tasty - I might even ask them to use tomato sauce base for brunello next time! For dessert, we got the cheese cake and tiramisu. Though I wasn't a big fan of the tiramisu, my friend loved it. Also, a decent wine selection at a reasonably priced $$!

This was my 10th visit but after really long time. I would still say, they are among the best Italian restaurants in town. I love thier gnocchi and all other pastas too. Server was great, but only complaint i have is that i ordered gnocchi in rosa sauce but wad served 🍅 sauce and cream on top. Even after mentioning he tried explaining its the same but it was not.

During the Thanksgiving weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at Grazie for the first time, and it's safe to say Grazie is one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto, situated in the bustling Yonge and Eglinton neighborhood. The restaurant's capacity to accommodate a large number of food enthusiasts is impressive, and there's a certain charm to the ambiance that instills a feeling of warmth and relaxation. Let's talk about the food, a true highlight of our visit. Opting for a delightful 3-course meal, we, as pizza lovers, initiated our culinary journey with the Cristoforo pizza as our appetizer. This pizza changed the definition of a pizza for me. Bursting with flavor and the essence of Italy, it unquestionably ranks as one of the finest pizzas I've ever had. For our main course, we selected the Tasca pasta and Ceflau pasta, and once again, Grazie exceeded our expectations. The pasta was exceptionally fresh and tender, practically melting in our mouths. The Tasca pasta, with its delectable stuffing and creamy tomato sauce, was a delightful contrast. My dining companion was equally impressed with the Ceflau pasta. To conclude our meal, we had the pleasure of savoring the creme brulee cheesecake, a sublime dessert that left nothing to be desired. A significant part of our wonderful experience was attributed to Sophie, our exceptional server. With a smiling face and welcoming attitude, she was incredibly accommodating and patient, guiding us through the menu and offering expert recommendations tailored to our preferences. Sophie's attentiveness elevated our dining experience, and we're grateful for her dedication. Grazie has unequivocally become my go-to Italian restaurant, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit.

How WAS it? How IS it?!!!! This is, hands-down, one of the FINEST Italian spots in the city. Understated and unassuming yet hosting some of the most exquisite cuisine available. The Caesar salad will blow your mind. Remember to treat yourself every now and then and put Grazie on your list of "must tries"...you will NOT be disappointed :) Preparation is everything and these fine men and women nail it...every...single...time. Wonderful staff and the ones you DON'T see will turn your world upside-down.

We had a dinner yesterday at this place but it was the worst place we have been in Toronto as an Italian restaurant. I ordered a pasta with tomato sauce and veggies. It was totally tasteless and my husband ordered a pasta with cream sauce. Instead of cream, it was pure milk! When you eat it, you just taste milk! We could not finish it at all. I was hungry when I left there. The server did not ask anything for its taste and he was rude overall. We paid $50 for tasteles pasta. We wanted to try this place since it has a lot of good reviews. But I don’t think they’re all real.

Wonderful experience, delicious food and attentive and skilled service this evening! During this difficult time of Covid, it's rare to find all three at one restaurant. It takes a strong team to deliver at this level of customer satisfaction. Baked goat cheese salad with roasted peppers& grilled eggplant wrapped in phyllo pastry was a delicious surprise on a bed of arugula. The Roberto pizza was yummy, with an abundance of mozzarella, prosciuttino, eggplant, artichoke hearts & black olives. For me, the Nico pasta was the ultimate winner of the evening! Pappardelle with sauteed veal strips, sundried tomatoes, and mushrooms in a veal jus with a touch of cream. An abundance of flavor, tender veal, and perfectly cooked fresh pasta...I can't wait to return for another helping of this treat♥️

The food was delicious, the value was unmatched and we had some of the best service I have ever experienced in the city. The front-of-house manager (I'm guessing?) was very warm and welcoming. He had great energy and when I complimented him on that, he said that he tries to set the tone for his staff. It was a wonderful little interaction and he seated us at our table. Both kinds of pasta we ordered we delicious. Perfectly flavored and filling. The ingredients were fresh. The pasta had a delicious texture. Bread and water were both refilled without us asking. There were also extra staff who helped to keep our table cleared. Our server was Jamie and I wanted to shout out to him for making our evening! He was very knowledgeable and helped us decide what to choose from the menu. He seems to have a very good read on what level of interaction and what kind of service each diner is looking for. He was so charming and friendly. Thank you for making our night! We will 100% be back and I think Grazie is going to be my new go-to midtown restaurant for whenever I'm hungry and don't know where to go and for whenever I have friends/family visiting. The highest praise for the entire Grazie team. You guys are killing it and no wonder you are a neighborhood staple.

I sat outside with my girlfriend for dinner the weather was nice but the traffic noise from the street was a bit annoying. Service was great I had Eric. Very accommodating and had excellent manners. He also gave a great red wine suggestion! I ordered the bruschetta focaccia it was delicious but the bottom was very moist and wet, by the end of the dish there was a pool of liquid so we were a bit disappointed with that but the dish besides that was yummy. We both had pasta dishes that were delicious. I had the Tasca, I highly recommend this incredible creamy tomato sauce pasta dish!

I recently went to Italy and have been wanting to have amazing Italian food back home. I ordered the Tasca, I enjoyed the fresh pasta so much! It was a good portion and the sauce was tasty. Our waiter was friendly and helped to give us wine and dessert recommendations. Dessert was in house made coconut cream pie, so good! Will definitely come back to try the pizza.

Went here for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing! Large portions and very tasty. The staff were very nice and friendly. They all came together to sing happy birthday to the birthday girl. It was so cute. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the waiters attentiveness for the table. We had to wait a while to get our waiter's attention a few times. Other than that though - wonderful place! Highly recommend!

Sila salad was a little too tangy for our taste. The artichoke on the Roberto pizza was really salty. The Napoletana pasta was really really good though. We would definitely try to order our food more carefully next time around.

Amazing experience at the Grazies. Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable, the food was delicious!! (Baked goat cheese salad is a must) The whole staff was so welcoming from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Would definitely come back to try out the other dishes that were recommended.

Delicious food, great vibes and an incredible service staff. We visited this restaurant during their peak hours, around 8:30-9:30 pm when it was packed (literally packed) with customers but the service we received was quite impressive. The manager and staff were prompt and felt genuinely invested in providing the customers with a great experience. It's rare to see people so present and active in the late hours of their work day, I am assuming that's because this restaurant is a good workplace. The food was 10/10, that creamy cheese on pasta, and their pizza was straight out of heaven. Would totally recommend ❤️

A great restaurant for a night out with family. The food is fresh and hearty, and the portions are large, and the atmosphere is always lively. It's not the best or most creative Italian food in the city, but I've been coming to Grazie for years and never been disappointed.

Truly every Italian food lover’s paradise! With an exceptional selections of Pastas, Pizzas and Antipastis, this is the food haven you need to visit. This was my first time visiting, and I loved the service, the taste of the food and the portions. Also the best part, the bread and butter offered to go with the meal. Highly recommend for anyone in and around Toronto.

Everything about this place was great. Impeccable and fast service. Truth be told i was a bit disappointed when i first saw the size of the shrimp in my meal, but don't be fooled by that. The main ingredient in my spinach fettuccine was the creamy sauce. Never tested anything so divine. Savour it slowly and you will know what i mean.

Are you looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Toronto without breaking the bank? @grazie.ristorante near Yonge and Elginton is the perfect place for that. The service was warm and courteous, the atmosphere was charming and cozy, and the food was simply sublime! We tried their Margherita, Torino, Penza and Tasca pastas along with Bruschetta and a few drinks. Margherita- thin and crunchy crust sith a delicious sauce, Penza a vodka sauce based rigatoni with a hint of chili pepper were my favourite! We had a splendid time here and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves genuine Italian food. @grazie.ristorante , you have won our hearts!

The greeter at the front of the restaurant is really rude. I was thinking of just walking out after he spoke to me, but I decided to not start a confrontation as I was here for someone's birthday. The food itself was great, but the greeter needs to be changed up.

Made reservations for 8 and they were ready to receive our large group. Server provided water promptly and took our orders. Immediately offered bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. We ordered two sets of bruschetta. Very tasty. I had the basta; spinach linguine (I think?) with cream sauce and shrimp. So smooth and portion size was excellent. Was offered Parmesan and freshly ground pepper. Even spoons were offered when the table asked for it. Ambient music was from the 80s and 90s pop and rock. Only minor negatives were the obvious upselling; the constant fruit flies and the 18% tip; our group ate fast but we could see other patrons lingering and enjoying their lunch.
