Except for the long line, the service is really good and the cashiers are very lovely. The food is good and coffee is hot and fresh. It has a very nice menu as well.

Always provided with great service and food when visiting. Have a wide variety of delicious and healthy options on their menus giving me something new to try every visit. Also with their kind and welcoming staff, this place a must visit!!

I love the food at La Prep, there’s so much variety and they’re all freshly made! The avocado blt is my go to, and all the paninis and wraps taste great! I really recommend this place at York :)

I have worked at York University for 10 years and have never had any issues with La Prep until I was told that my plant based beyond meat burger could no longer be made in a wrap because head office will not adjust the menu since it is a franchise. Really? So what is the point of offering a plant based burger slathered in cheese and literally just change the bread to a wrap? The old staff was kind and now it's just about the franchise making money and not caring about the customers.

La Prep is a good place for fresh and healthy options at school and I really like how you get choices of different salads throughout the week! All the paninis as well as the wraps are yummy. Love getting my daily lattes at this place👍🏻

It is certainly an expensive way to have your breakfast, but honestly, it is one of the best breakfast or lunch areas on campus. Amazing food, quick and professional staff, wait - did I already mention amazing food? I always get the pesto chicken sandwich and a marble cake - try them out!

I ordered the Oatmeal here because it was 3.99 according to the menu. They charged me 4.99 for a small bowl of oatmeal. So when I asked why is it charging me a dollar more than the menu, the manager came up and explained that what I got was the Dahlia Pudding. The Dahlia pudding is the same price as the oatmeal and what the worker didn't tell me apparently was that they ran out. She tried to give me something else, then tried to charge me more than the original price. The manager says that it's 4.99 despite what it says on his menu. I paid the 3.99 and the oatmeal was good, but if you're charging more than what you say you are and giving people an alternative without telling them then you need to change your business practice.

Was here last week and I really enjoyed the fresh salads and sandwiches.

La Prep's menu has definitely changed over the years, but has always strived to be a healthful place. La prep offers a nice variety of healthy sandwiches, bowls and salads. The medieterrean bowl was of a decent serving size, not too expensive and had a good variety of ingeridents.

Convenient spot in York Lanes. Nice people and fair prices. Super fast service compared to the Starbucks and Tim Hortons in C. Sq. where line ups can be 20-30 patrons deep. Lots of healthy options. Got the Spartan breakfast wrap, with an orange and black coffee for under $10. Delicious and I felt good all day!

Great coffee, good matcha, amazing breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches here are by far the best value and the best quality breakfast sandwiches I have had from any restaurant.

Ordered the bbq Asian salmon bowl and the forgot to add the salmon.

A good coffee shop where you get medium, dark roast coffee. It's better than Tim Horton's. The snacks and other bites are also good. Not too much crowded. You get a good ambience with slight music background.

Very rude staff, I entered to buy a fruit cup but the drink I hand in my hand dripped a bit so I used some of their napkins. the person there was so rude, he asked rudely “hey! what are you doing using my stuff? You can’t use my stuff” He kept fighting me over damn napkins after I told him I was buying something. A long with some other girl that was on her break. It was an overall pathetic experience and really antagonizing. That’s not to mention last time I bought an oat latte here and it was so sour and watery I had to throw out the drink (coming from someone who is a barista and drinks a lot of coffee). They need to clean up their act because I certainly did not do anything to be treated the way I was, especially over measly napkins that I was using to not leave counters I set my cup on dirty (out of courtesy of their work too but clearly they wanted clean after me).
