Busy location at West Beaver Creek. It was hard to find parking during lunch or dinner hours. We dropped in after 4pm during weekday and we could find a parking spot right away. Been a customer for over 2 decades and food always keeps in good consistency. Good customer service. Will visit again soon.

My son n daughter in-law took me to Jack Astor's Bar and restaurant on Saturday 9 Aprilvfor dinner, As I am a pure vegetarian I ordered for French fries with herbs, red chilli sauce , roasted bread with tomatoes, onions, Thai rice bowl with coconut milk n veggies, they ordered for chicken wings etc, I ate only French fries and just tasted 2 spoons of Thai rice bowl , I am not used to any other foods other than south Indian n north Indian vegetarian foods only. The Venue was too crowded n too noisy with loud music n people talking all mixed up . As it was a weekend day it was brimming with people n long wait to get a table... People asking for ambiance n calm place n relax mood can't ask for it... Seems like its a popular spot for the locals... For the firs time I experienced something unusual, the table is spread with a brown paper sheet n 4 coloured crayons are kept on each table, you can draw some pictures on it till you get your order, it was quite interesting n good idea to kill time n have some fun..😀

Good food but not the service. We felt rushed with dessert while eating our food then we got charged a tip (13%) $8.75 without being asked. The waiter asked for just the tap on terminal. After realizing from our receipt, we asked the store manager who walked by our table. She apologized and provided cash (could not refund on the card).

The chicken wings were cooked to a crisp, with a decent amount of sauce coating each piece. The flavor options available were the typical choices, ranging from mild to spicy. While the wings were enjoyable, they didn't possess the outstanding flavor or tenderness that would elevate them to the next level. They were simply average wings that satisfied the craving but didn't leave a lasting impact. Regarding the overall dining experience, the service was attentive and prompt, which added a positive aspect to the visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was casual and comfortable, providing a suitable setting for enjoying a casual meal with friends or family. However, what this establishment lacked was a unique selling point or distinguishing feature. In a highly competitive burger and wings market, it's important to offer something that sets you apart from the rest. Whether it's through exceptional flavors, innovative toppings, or creative twists, it's those extra touches that leave a lasting impression on diners.

Had a great experience at the bar yesterday. Our bartender Amy (I believe) was so nice. We told her we had experienced at another restaurant and she took care of us. We had a single malt and then finished it off with Grand Marnier. She was so pleasant and attentive. Too bad they don’t provide snacks to eat at the bar. Great service. Definitely recommend!!

Came here in a group of 7, made reservations and still had to wait at the door as we watched another group just walk on in 🤦🏻‍♂️, our server Justin deserves a raise, he was very fast, friendly and efficient that boosted this review from a 3 to a 4 star.. The Calamari was excellent, everyone enjoyed the dishes.. My Chicken bow tie I found the pasta a bit too hard/raw.. The chicken parm was cold and the wings came warm. Otherwise it was a great experience to dine in @ Jack's again 👍

I recently moved in to the area and have been visiting this jacks more frequently. Bree is amazing! We’re so glad to have found this Jack Astor’s - I am very appreciative of Gen the manager, she went above and beyond expectations and made our experience great! We have been regulars since our experience with Gen and Bree’s exceptional service. Truly a great establishment that makes you feel like you’re at home. We also ordered dessert and she made a nice customized note which really made my experience.

4years ago was the first time I stopped at this place. I gave a 5star. And today after 4years, I'm keeping my 5star!! My fiancé and I ordered a couple Holly smoked bbq Burgers with sweet potato fries and truffle fries. Honestly, nothing to complain about. Portion of the food was just enough. And everything else was just right for the price. Kudos to the team at this location!

Always great service and atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. I love the nachos and the Mexi Chicken bowl. It's a great spot for families, couples, and groups of friends. I love the live DJ's on Thursday nights.

There was an incident with my friend and some glass, but the management was very quick! Before I could fully comprehend what was happening the general manager Sarah came to our table. The situation was handled professionally and quickly. A big shout out to our server Rob who was calm and collected through the whole thing! The food was also really good!

I am a service inspired restaurant app member. I had trouble finding your app on my mobile phone when I arrived your restaurant. Your staff were too busy with other customers and didn't help me. I am supposed to have a 10% lunch discount and reward points on my membership. All of it is forfeited because I paid the bill. This is the second time happened! I think your app do not value repeat customers like myself! Watch out for BIG Tipping trap!! 18%, 20% and 25% pop up on my credit card payment machine. I picked the lowest 18% !!!! The service is definitely not worth 18%!!!

I went there with my coworkers for lunch today, the service was great and pretty timely. The staff was nice and professional. I ordered a medium rare Steak Frites with sweet potato fries instead. Everything I got was flavored just right. The only issue I had was that it was not meduin rare. It was almost well done. It cost $49 + tip. They deserved a tip for the good service, but I wouldn't get that dish again.

It was a busy evening. Server took longer to take order. Food was not bad, steak was better than how it looks like. The mixed drink wasn’t tasty.

I have never had a negative experience at Jack Astors Richmond Hill. All the servers are very knowledgeable and nice, and they really go above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience at this establishment. I enjoy coming here for 1/2 off wine Mon/Tuesdays especially after a long day at work. Moxie’s has the same deal on Wednesdays, but I prefer coming to Jack Astors, since the wine list is way better. The sauced and tossed chicken fingers are SOO good, as well as their fish bowl drinks. Thank you!

I recently visited the restaurant and unfortunately, encountered several issues with our food. The burger had a strong, unpleasant smell, prompting us to bring it to the staff's attention. Additionally, the chicken parmesan was undercooked with a pink inside. Despite ordering a chicken cob salad, the chicken in that dish also had an off-putting odor, though we didn't complain at that moment. Regrettably, I've been experiencing stomachache since 5 am, likely due to the food. This experience was disappointing and has impacted my overall satisfaction with the visit.

I had the jacked up nachos, truffle fries with aioli, bruschetta and the malted milk brownie. Really good food. Our server was Matt. What a sweetheart. He was excellent and always checking on us. We were looked after very well. Atmosphere is a little noisy when it started picking up for the dinner rush but Jack isn’t a place you go to for quiet ambience. Great place overall.

Despite this, the overall experience is still enjoyable, especially if you have the patience to wait for your order.

I went out with my friend after work to relax and chat. We had a good serve name Marina. She was very energetic, friendly and great server. She see if we are good or need anything else. I would come back again to this location. As for the food, very good. Beer cheddar soup and truffle fries which forgot to take a pic . They were so good. Also, the drinks and chicken Asiago bow tie. They were good. Thank you for the great experience.

I just want to start by saying. Our server, Angie, was the best server I've ever had. She was so kind and helpful and was so friendly towards us. You can tell how amazing of a personality she has. The food was great, but the service was outstanding. I'd give the service category a 6 stars if I could just for her! I live in Vaughan, so there's a closer Jack Astor's to me, but with how outstanding the service was, I'll definitely be back to this location in the future instead!

Good food, friendly services. Good place for after work party or team gathering. More like pub environment (the noise level😂). We ordered bruschetta, which is amazing. Tina bowel is wonderful but chicken is s a bit over cooked and dry. In general, a good place to go for casual dinner.

The service was excellent and prompt. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the staff's attitude was friendly and kind. Despite the restaurant being very busy and all the tables being occupied, our order was served promptly.

I love jack astor's and the food was great like always. I wish it wasnt so LOUD. Its a huge busy place and they put music to the max and it drives you insane. Otherwise i loved the food and the service was great

Wasn't busy when we went. Good, quick service. My main issues were with the tech. Glad to see that we could see a menu online, but it wasn't working well for us. Payment option was a little finicky, but eventually worked. Our server was always ready to help and had an alternative ready if we needed it. I had a salmon dish, which was a little on the dry side, but still good. The items on that plate were individually tasty, but I'm not sure they worked cohesively.

The service was quick and friendly over lunch. I believe our servers name was Lindsay. Lunch was moderately busy and the wings didn't take long ....highly recommended. Jen the manager came by just checking in and that's always welcome. Very much enjoyed our time.

We went there with couple of friends after long time. The place was nice and our table setting was good. The waiters were nice and helpful but we could feel the slowness of them due to lack of staff. I order Pad Thai that I did not like at all. The sauce was too sweet, no peanut on it. The Pad Thai from Thai express taste much better.

Great experience! Honestly super great service. My waitress was great and my food was even better. Came out hot, fast and delicious :) The hostess today was also super nice and friendly! Made me and my family feel welcome and excited to eat here. Would definitely recommend this location! Originally came here for the great food but will come again for the great staff!

Jack Astor's here in Richmond hill is a decent restaurant to visit. The food was a bit lacking compared to other Jack Astor's like the amazing one in St Catharines but still worth visiting. The service was exceptional and is the sole reason for the 4 stars instead of 2 stars. The staff is very kind and friendly and ensures the restaurant follows Covid-19 protocols.

Okay… where do I start? This is my third time @ Jack Astors in a week. Here’s why: The food? DELICIOUS Service? IMPECCABLE.. special mentions to Chad and Amy Did they go the extra mile? No, they ran a whole marathon… the general manager searched for a good 10 minutes to find the England soccer game for me to watch. If only Google had 6 star ratings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been going here for years, every single time just for their chicken fingers. My favourite place for them! The fries are nice, crispy, and not too salty. A perfect combination to have while chatting in a good environment. The staff here is always nice and accommodating as well. Their patio is open and clean, and the indoor seating is quite comfy.

Always a good idea to dine here . I enjoyed my Budda salad and my kids enjoys theirs as well plus service was great. Our server Justin is full of life 🤩

Came here on a Saturday evening and sat on the patio. Ordered a fish bowl drink (Beach Bowl) and it was definitely the highlight of the evening. Shared appetizers in a part of 4. Got beef nachos which was a great shareable however the lobster cheese dip was a weird mixture of cheese, lobster and crab. I felt like too much was going on l. Also the bbq wings were very saucy and I would’ve preferred bbq flavored with a side dip of bbq sauce. Service was good and friendly and I have no complaints.

Good experience. Food is consistent between all locations - so that’s nice 👍🏽 and our server Mathew took extra precautions to ensure that our food was allergy safe. Only bummer is no Guinness on draught but they carry cans 🤓

The garlic bread was not good. I remembered it used to be so good that we would order 2 pans at least. Not sure if it's only this location or not. The salad was not bad except the tuna was a little weird.

This place was super packed once the pandemic restrictions were over. Our meals arrived an hour after being seated. Our waitress was really busy as the restaurant was understaffed but she was very polite and accompdating. Food was mediocre at best and tasted bland.

First time dining in since the pandemic started. Been here many times in the past and always enjoyed it. Their COVID policies are on point here. Proper vaccine passport and contract tracing measures taken. They even have an option for your waiter to give the full service experience, or bare minimum to avoid contact. Food was great as usual and the drinks are always decently priced. I felt safe coming here which was the best part. It got a little busier as the night went on but the place is large enough that everyone was distanced. Thumbs up!

This place has such great food! Their singing bee chicken sandwich is amazing, and their burgers are very tasty and juicy too. Plus the staff was so nice. I really want to come back here!

Our hockey team held a team dinner (approx 20 adults, 20 kids) over the weekend. Despite being a big group with lots of varying requests, the staff at Jack Astors were incredible. They were kind, courteous and the drinks & food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food was hot and tasty, the drinks were cold and fresh and most importantly we all had a great time. Thank you again to the staff - you guys did such a great job and we hope to see you again next year!!

I didn't like this place before the pandemic and never had enjoyed a meal there, but my recent visit was an amazing experience, so I'm giving them 5 stars. The food had improved significantly and the service was amazing. I recommend you to try their Buddha and harvest salads.

I had a buffalo chicken sandwich along with non-alcoholic straberry guava lemonade and coke with fries. The buffalo sauce was requested to be hot flavoured but it was not that spicy yet. Overall the food was delicious. Would definitely visit the restaurant again 🙂.
