Prefacing
this
that
I
never
write
reviews,
ever
but
this
one
has
just
ticked
me
off.
The
only
reason
I
went
to
VCA
was
because
I
received
a
free
physical
exam
after
adopting
through
the
Toronto
Cat
Rescue.
I
arrive
and
provide
all
the
records
but
they
failed
to
see
the
one
regarding
a
rabies
shot,
so
they
gave
her
another
one
thinking
she
hadn’t
received
it,
when
she
had
already.
Wasn’t
thrilled
about
that
but
she
was
okay
after
and
I’m
surprised
they
voided
the
charge
on
that.
A
week
later,
I
see
a
skin
condition
of
some
sort
developing
on
her
ear.
This
could
have
been
related
to
the
second
unneeded
shot,
or
a
coincidence,
who
knows.
Regardless,
I
take
her
to
be
checked
out
and
the
vet
can’t
determine
what
it
is,
therefore
not
giving
a
diagnosis.
Don’t
worry
though,
we’ll
give
her
an
antibiotic
shot
that
we’ll
charge
you
$90
for
and
another
$100
for
consultation
that
led
to
no
diagnosis.
This
thing
could
have
been
a
fungal
infection
from
the
look
of
it
and
an
antibiotic
is
useless
against
that.
Was
also
prescribed
ointment
to
put
on
the
area,
but
they
didn’t
have
any
stock,
so
they
made
me
call
other
clinics
and
pharmacies
asking
if
they
had
it,
nobody
did.
Another
ointment
gets
prescribed
that
is
also
an
antibiotic
with
steroids.
This
is
all
prescribed
without
a
diagnosis,
don’t
forget,
and
that’s
another
$80
for
the
second
option
prescription.
The
steroids
in
the
cream
have
helped
a
little
but
it
has
still
spread
to
other
parts
of
her
ear.
The
vet
would
know
this
if
they
called
to
check
after
a
week
like
I
asked
and
they
said
they
would,
but
I’ve
heard
nothing
in
2
almost
3
weeks.
I
could
call
myself
but
I’d
probably
get
charged
for
that
as
well.
When
you
take
your
pet
to
the
vet,
you
expect
to
pay
for
a
treatment
that
solves
the
problem,
not
ripped
off
and
feeling
like
you’re
throwing
money
into
a
fire
pit.
I’m
changing
clinics
to
one
that
actually
feels
like
they
care
for
your
pet,
not
just
pretending
like
they
do
when
it’s
in
the
clinic.
