Sean and Sharon were great! They always checked up on us and refilled our drinks consistently. Lots of food choices, just be prepared to have a food coma 😴.

Pretty convenient location, it is wheelchair accessible, and the servers are pretty cool. It is pretty much as advertised, buffet. New changes are in place, not every location offer buffet every day so I suggest you call ahead for whichever location you’re going to. The food was pretty good too. Sadly, their camera wasn’t working for their iconic birthday photos but it’s quite nice to see the amount of people going to Mandarin for birthdays. By the way, your birthday meal is free as long as you sign up online before your birthday visit and you take three paying adults with you.

We went here for our daughter's birthday and the staff was very accommodating. You're greeted as you enter, and we were seated right away. We would suggest making a reservation. We were handed steamed towels before feasting. The selection of food was good but I would've wanted more selection of chicken, but then again I believe the menu changes everyday. Prices have gone up but that's all places, it was an overall great experience.

It was awesome... very busy as usual but definitely worth the wait. The ambience was on point and the food and desserts were very delicious. The staff were very courteous and helpful as well. Definitely worth my 5 star rating 👌

Went for lunch here today. The food was good! I came right before 12pm and it got busy very quickly! My server Nancy was very nice and a highlight of my experience! I'm a fan of the cocktail sauce here and they've added grilled pineapple since I was here last, they're very tasty. They replenish the food often so it's never empty!

I am so impressed with the precautions they are taking. Way to go Mandarin for being so responsible. I felt safe and assured they were taking covid very seriously.

We celebrated moms 60s bday and the staff went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious as always and we were accommodated to serve our group in a private room which we were allowed to decorate with our own balloon arrangement. every thing was perfect the staff was friendly and approachable the price was fair and affordable. If you need to plan a party they got you! The manager went out of her way to make sure we had a great night. Thank you for making it a special time.

I came here for the first time after the pandemic. The food was all fresh and delicious. Some people in our group had dietary restrictions and they actually made a special dish for them as part of the buffet. My pop was also refilled without having to ask. I'd highly recommend this location.

Had the most beautiful birthday dinner experience with my family tonight. There is sanitizer in the rooms and gloves to get your food from the buffet. Food, deserts, drinks were all great! Friendly staff especially our servers Tina, and a tall, Afro-Canadian young man, whose name I didn't get, were very pleasant. Tina was super funny and young man took the best photos of our large group 😁😁. Birthday person eats for free providing there's 3 paying adults. Our highlight has always been the photo in the magnetic frame, but I think the tiny camera needs upgrading 😂😂. The pic was a little dark tonight. Thanks guys!!! We will be back!

I went there with the family a while back and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. When we entered there was a designated waiting area for the time until we were called to be seated. Every single staff member was so kind and helpful, from the start to the end of our time there. After a few minutes wait, a person came up to us, showed us around, told us where we could find the washrooms, dining area and our seats. The food was absolutely amazing and the waiters came by every once in a while to check up on us and make sure we had all we needed. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and so was our experience. Thank you for such a fun time!

If you want to dine at a restaurant and feel safe during this Pandemic time, then this is the one. Besides following all the mandated protocol set out, they go above and beyond to keep their guests safe. Silverware comes to the table in sealed plastic bags, disposable gloves for the buffet and hand sanitizers in every room, chairs and tables are sanitized after each guest, stickers and arrows at the buffet to keep a safe distance and direction between guests. If this isn't enough, the food, hospitality, service, and atmosphere all get high marks. A special thank you to Serena, the manger who makes sure her guests have an enjoyable experience. A mention also for 2 great Servers, Kim and Tina, who go above and beyond to accommodate their guests and make them want to return. I sure do!!

Mandarin Restaurant is wao. I've visited Finch West and Englinton East. A good variety and wide range of fantastic meals. Keep it up.

We are from the United States, this is the best Chinese buffet we’ve tried these years so far. The store is clean, staff are friendly, and their service is good. The desserts and salad areas are our family’s favorite. We will come back next time when visit Ontario.

Everything was really bad. Such a huge deception. Before the pandemic this chain was a good family option. I came here last week and everything tasted sweet. Stop adding sugar to your dishes

I was very pleased at the Covid safety protocols they had in place. First at the door you had to prove you where double vaccinated to get in. The tables were separated so we were 6 feet apart. They supplied you with fresh gloves everytime you went up to the buffet. The floor was taped with directional arrows to help people keep their distance. The staff was constantly walking around wiping down every surface. By the way the staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was good as always.

Pramila, Binod and Lucas served us very well. We had a great time, the food was very fresh, refilled constantly, lime drink good. Mandarin has kept up its service .

I wish they still had the fried shrimp!!! Apparently there’s a shortage because of Covid. Enjoyed my time and the staff were nice and welcoming. good experience.

I used to love mandarin when I was younger. Unfortunately it has changed so much. A lot of the cold salad foods tasted old and looked like it had been there for a while. The main dishes were nice and hot but weren’t as savoury as I remember. Most of the food was a bit bland. The desserts were a bit better. The waiters were very attentive and very nice. Unfortunately I would rather eat at other restaurants with better quality food than this.

I went to the Mandarin Restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday with my family and family friends. My server was John T, and I had such an amazing experience from start to finish. I am so glad they were able to accommodate my party size of 16 which turned to 18 people the day before at 6:00pm. I tried to call other restaurants and the only time they were able to accommodate us at the other restaurant was 8:00pm which was too late for my party. I would have to say the food is okay, but if you are looking for an exceptional experience to celebrate your birthday with a large party size, I would recommend this Mandarin at the North York location. And I forgot to mention, they take photos and give you a picture frame as a souvenir. Thank you for an amazing experience!

While restrictions lifted this place has maintained its well-known reputation. Exceptional quality overall. The food is great as always, fresh and not over cooked. We noticed they've definitely up-ed their customer service game with outstanding service. Our server Tina was awesome! We didn't have to wait whenever we needed her. The iconic atmosphere was always eye-catching. Will come back again. Thank you!

Went to the Finch Ave. Location Delicious meal! Really enjoyed the variety of food in the small eats menu. Restaurant is very conscientious about distancing, safety protocol etc. Service excellent and food fresh and hot. Enjoyable experience! Looking forward to going again soon!

It was our company's gathering of the year... I found that around 2pm some items were not on the plates... for you to help yourself from the buffet Specially sushi... raw fish and seafood... mussels! Restaurant was busy... and many items did not have a description like dumplings and soups! Waiters and waitress were so busy that I had to wait 15 minutes for a cup of coffee

I went here for a first communion, we had late lunch at around 1:30pm. The food there was decent for a buffet, but it seemed like there wasn't a lot of employees working on site. At least it seemed so because some food was not always available so I was not able to try everything I wanted to try. There wasn't anyone working at the roast beef section and I wanted to eat sushi but there wasn't many options and it wasn't refilled even after I was about to leave. I remember there were a lot more options, and even crab legs. I think the crab legs might be seasonal or dinner, same for the many other food options as well. Overall the service at the table were really nice and fast, and the food was good! I'd come here again but for dinner hopefully! Because I know there is a lot more from dinner time. So I would definitely recommend going for lunch if you want the best experience. I will change my feedback/ratings to a higher rating accordingly next time, when I am able to go for the dinner time experience.

I took my family and friends for dinner during March break(Finch Ave). It was great! The staff were very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. The food was hot and fresh. So many options! I wanted to try them all...I almost did!😀 We'll be back soon👍👍

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of the all-you-can-eat restaurant! The wide variety of delicious food options they offer is truly impressive. What's more, the staff is exceptionally polite and friendly, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant

I love going here, this has been my go to restaurant since I was a kid. They are very professional and are treating entrance during covid and food getting very carefully. I only wish they didn't bunk so many people into one room at a time. Overall always a pleasure to see amazing staff and eat there.

the front people were so nice and so accommodating! I’m not from town so I was so curious with what this place has to offer and i’m not even disappointed! Sharon was an amazing server, we were celebrating a birthday and also graduation. She was kind enough to offer to take our photos! Also one of the guy’s server always refilled our water without us having to ask them. One of the manager went up and introduced herself and once she found out we were celebrating she let us know to let our servers know. The service and food was amazing.. The tables were clean and dishes were clean as well. Their cocktails was also so good! To top it up they gave us warm hand towels to clean our hands with a good scent of lemon. Over all, I will recommend this restaurant :) Amazing service!

Since I arrived to Canada this has been one of my favourite restaurants to attend to. My husband recently came to Canada and I wanted him to try Mandarin for so long and today we got the chance. Nancy has been my server for two times now, she is very respectful and kind. She looks after the customers needs. Today I met Lay, he is very kind and respectful. I really enjoyed my husband’s and I first Canadian date here in the Mandarin. They made it special for both of us. I hope they are being taken care of just like they took care of us.

I have been at Finch & Dufferin branch with my family a few times, always good selection items on the buffet so one of the managers checked in our table and she asked how is everything at the past one other manager came to us and asked too by the way our server was a nice and friendly girl her name was Patricia over all we were happy with food quality and service highly recommended.

I did live near Mandarin, Woodbine, and I assumed that they would all be very similar. Wrong!!!! I ordered delivery this evening From the North York Mandarin. It arrived 45 minutes late and stone cold! Even though the restaurant assured me that their bags will keep everything warm and the 4 km they had to drive to my house on a Thursday was just too hard to get you in a reasonable time! Everything required microwaving, and then it takes on the texture of reheated microwaved food! The restaurant told me that the driver left right on time to deliver my food between 5:15 and 5:30 the driver told me he didn't even leave till after 6:00. That was 60 bucks I could've spent better anywhere else ! Room temperature and a little congealed! FOLLOW UP: Mandarin head office reached out and asked me to respond and when I did ... crickets!!!! They don't seem to care ! Perhaps they have enough business that a bad review doesn't affect them, but I guarantee if they keep up this way, they will be getting more! Sad when a business, couldn't care less about customer satisfaction or even value for the dollar!

I had my birthday lunch with my family here. The food was good and all staff were friendly and nice. They(Sakar, Binod, Sean) surprised me with a cute birthday cupcake and took a photo for us. Thanks. I’d definitely come again :)

Service is very slow. When dining in the tables are so close to each other. There is not no social distancing from other tables. I don't know why it's not fully opened. Food is not tasty at all. Drinks are too water down especially the coke. There are better places to eat. But when you are ready to pay they are so fast. I don't recommend this place again. Service is very slow.

I dined here earlier today and had an incredible experience thanks to the outstanding service provided by servers Nancy and Shawn. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and attentive to my every need. Nancy and Shawn were always available to refill drinks, clear plates, and bring anything I needed to my table. They checked on me regularly to ensure I was enjoying my meal. Not only were they great at their jobs, but they also went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly Nancy’s infectious personality, which brought a real sense of fun and joy to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience thanks to the exceptional service provided by Nancy and Shawn. I look forward to returning again soon.

The Buffet is not the same. You got rid of the delicious waffles, syrup and toppings for no reason. The Sushi selection was limited. There was no spicy salmon rolls. You also got rid of the tapioca pudding that you used to have with rice pudding. It was a real let down. The spicy chicken was removed altogether for General Tao which is not the same.

Your manager Tom Ling is the rudest person ever! We came here for my mom's birthday and were trying to take a quick 30 second photo. He was so rude!! Up in our face about our mask, we are highly aware it's a pandemic and to keep on our mask at all times. But a 30 second photo won't kill anyone, such a terrible person. Go learn better customer service! Rude dog, if it was your own background people you wouldn't of be up in our faces about a mask although she explained she wanted to take a photo for 10 seconds then we'd be leaving.

I've been here for the buffet lunch several times recently with my sister, and we always love coming. The food is delicious, and there's so many different dishes here, you're bound to find the perfect meal no matter what you like. The restaurant is beautiful - you have to see the fishpond in the lobby - and I'm always comfortable with the seating, I've never felt crowded by other tables. This latest time our servers were Lei and Sharon, and they were very helpful and attentive, making sure we always had enough drink refills. I will definitely keep coming back!

We always come here every time we have something to celebrate but today is an exceptional because of the good customer service of Ruby, she is so kind and polite. Came here for lunch with my family during the Family Day holiday, and the experience is amazing as always. As frequent visitors of this place, the experience was nothing less than our average experience. Our waiters, Gopal, Sean and Kiritika were always on top of everything we requested, and everything we had yet to ask for. Would recommend anyone to come for a nice family outing.
