This is one of the closest walkin clinics to my house. And i must say the only one that stays open on Sundays. I recently visited this clinic. It was about to open from 11am so I reached early but still there were around 20 people ahead of me in the line. It opened on time and then it took around 30 minutes after they opened the doors to register, which was very difficult for me to stand. I was feeling very weak and hardly able to stand anymore so the kind lady who registered me suggested me to go inside and sit in the waiting hall. The waiting area was clean, calm and comfortable and have a vending machine. I waited there for around 2 and a half hours then my number came and when I seen the doctor Koffman i suddenly felt I am in the safe hands. I must say she is a good doctor. It’s been only 2 days visiting the doctor and I am feeling much better already.

THIS IS THE WORST DOCTORS OFFICE I'VE EVER GONE TO. August 11th, I showed up and got swab tested and blood work done for an illness. I have been calling over and over for my results and they say they do not have any. The receptionist is incredibly disrespectful and the doctor is always MIA. I have never received such lazy, confused and unprofessional service in my life. Online it says they are open until 3. I just called over 10 times and after leaving a message the receptionist finally picked up and told me that there is no doctor available until Monday and that the only reason she answered is because she is there doing paperwork. I'm disgusted with this place and will not be going again. PLEASE do not go here it a huge waste of time and the people in this office have no respect for people's time and health as a DOCTOR'S OFFICE should.

Even after multiple visits and waiting in the waiting room for a total of 6+ hours, this clinic failed to notify me about a very important diagnosis which led to me suffering from an unknown infection for three weeks. I can see that this clinic is absolutely swamped with walk-ins and that the staff is likely doing their best, but I will not be returning.

actually i would put minus million( -1mln!!) !!! worst clinic ever!! they are absolutely non-respocible. if you want to survive DO NOT GO THERE!! people with urgent surgery necessity could not get their papers and test results to be sent to the hospital to get this surgery done because ... Earl's Bales Urgent (hahaha!!) Care could not fix their fax machine and they do not know how to use e-mail. Though the e-mail they show at the website does not work as well... they do not have an opportunity to share the information with other doctors but they still make people wait and hope for their help... Unbelievable!! They do not know that there is an option to share the information with other doctors online through the special network. OMG!! And they did not even inform patients that they have such problem... do you really think they do care about you???

This clinic sucks! We waited for the Dr today from 8:50 in the morning as the clinic opens at 9AM, first three were in the rooms already ready to see the Dr only to find out he’s not coming til 12PM. We waited from 9-12 and 12PM came in only to find out that the Dr is not coming at all. complete waste of time please don’t go to this clinic if you don’t want ur eyes turn white from waiting for nothing. Front desk ladies doesn’t seem to know what’s the dr’s schedule

They charge you crazy amount of money for immunization record. Call you back to the clinic for “follow up”, wait for 2hrs+ just to ask why you were there and say there’s no update

I never make reviews but i was really really disappointed. -So I made a series of blood test and I ask the doctor what I wanted to be done but seems like not all was done . -I waited a week for results, the lady at the reception told me that they will call me when the results is available but they didn’t, -I call myself and the person at the phone told me the usually call at the end of the day, ok! -he was rude to me and hang up the call without allowing me to ask all my questions -I don’t know if they couldn’t get me but I was even shouting so that they could hear me . -If a patient takes his time to call. Take also that same time to help him out.

It's hit or miss with this place. There are some days when the doctors are good and caring, then days when they act super annoyed to be there and be seeing patients and tell you to come back when your conditions get worse. You never know what you'll get! Also, I've seen staff, mostly front desk but doctors too, be very impatient with patients who do not speak English fluently and struggle to communicate/understand. I recommend they be more cognizant of this as I'm sure it is not creating a welcoming atmosphere in a location with many immigrants. It was very uncomfortable to witness the receptionist yelling and getting annoyed at a patient who did not understand. We understand the stress staff are experiencing with the pandemic, but there's no reason to take it out on patients, especially when patients are experiencing their own stress.

Very rude receptionist. Called to inquire if they were accepting walk in patients as it was a busy day at most other places I went to. The receptionist was rude and her tone was like, why are you asking me this? This is a walk-in clinic! Toronto is big enough to have more places where I'd rather spend my time and money at.

All they care about is making money. I remember my employment immunization form obtained from them costed me $120 two years ago which shall have been only $30 at family doctor. Dont ask me why I didn’t go to family doctor instead, of course because of my urgent needs. As mentioning to “urgent”, they got me call back and forth to ask for the results during the week just to find out the blood lab missed identifying one of my immunization needed to prove for work, and they even planned to take my blood again. Thank goodness they called and found my results afterwards, however unprofessionally. I just recently came to complain about my back hurting, asking if they can prefer me to a massage therapist. The staff right away indicated it costs $20 for the note since I asked for it. They still got me to meet with a doctor who asked simple questions in 5 mins. So now I actually have back pain due to work, they still checked up on me, and they still said I asked for the referral first so I need to pay. What a joke! Yes I paid, but will never come back. Many people mentioned that the lady in the front is rude. I had no issues with her. Maybe it’s just the way she is. However, that doesn’t fit working in customer service. She could have done better.

Dr. Koffman was a really good doctor back in the day when I used to see her as my family doctor. But their receptionist today (Rejoice) was unapologetically rude and didn't make even the slightest attempt to be anything less than brutal. Haven't called them in years. Here's how today's call went: *Ring Ring* Rejoice: You have to wait! Hold on! (in a very rude voice) *Places call on hold* Me: Is this even the right number? They didn't say what the business is. *Wait for a few minutes, hang up* *Calls again* Voicemail. *Calls again* Voicemail. *Calls again* Voicemail. *Calls again...* *Ring Ring* Rejoice: I told you to wait. Why do you keep calling??! (in a very angry voice) Me: I need to end my relationship with Dr Koffman as my family doctor as I have moved out of the area. Rejoice: you have to call this phone number (provides an invalid phone number) *Calls back after attempting the number she provided and it is invalid* Me: Rejoice, you gave me an invalid phone number, but also, per the ministry of health, you can do this on your end. Rejoice: In all the time I work here, this is not how it is done. *Hangs up on me* *Looked up the ministry number myself and call it.* The IVR clearly states that if you wish to change family doctors you MUST contact your current family doctor. *Call again* Voicemail *Call again* Voicemail *Call again* Voicemail *Call again* *Ring Ring* Me: Rejoice, the ministry says you must do this on your end. *places me on hold again* Dr Koffman comes on: (in a very kind, yet somewhat rushed voice), Yes are you sure the ministry says they can't do this? Me: Unfortunately yes. Dr. Koffman: Ok, I will send them a notice and let them know. Me: thank you Doctor! (me thinking, why did this take an hour?)

I rarely write reviews, but I had a great experience here today and wanted to boost the 5 star ratio! This was my first walk-in experience ever...and I feel great about it. I'm technically on a GP's roster out in the west end that is in an office that I can only describe as a front for an OHIP scam. He is fine...or was 3 years ago when I last saw him...but they do not pick up the phone. Ever. I haven't been able to get through for various issues in years. After spending 20 minutes and then 45 minutes (!!) on hold today with my "GP" today, I gave up for the last time. Usually I simply don't seek medical care as a result of this (which is so NOT the right answer) or I ask my old pediatrician's office for advice. But I've been sick the past week. And I'm not getting worse. But I'm not getting better. And its frustrating to not know what's wrong. I'm fine riding out a wave of illness, but I wanna know what it is. And everybody is entitled to medical care ...so I finally hit my breaking point today. Not even sure what made me pick this walk in. It just...gave me good vibes? It's a Sunday and long weekend, and I had no clue what to expect but just figured I'd go, accept the fate of waiting, and hope for the best. Everyone at the desk was professional and kind. I was in a room within an hour. The nurse who took my BP and temperature was good and professional. Waited only maybe five minutes for the doctor after that. Dr. Koffman was seriously awesome. She has a fantastic presence. I've felt so alone this week not being able to access a GP, and within a second of Dr. Koffman being in the room, I felt heard. She is very professional and so thorough with the very limited time she gets for each patient. She listened to me rattle my symptoms and the order they presented themselves over the past week, she did a small physical, and covered all the bases. I pointed out a medical episode I had a few months ago that may even be related but I do not know because I couldn't get through to my GP, which she listened to and that told her to test for more things. Everything from mono to thyroid to kidneys she thought to get checked. She also heard me when I said how scared I was that I haven't been able to eat anything in a week and when I do I feel sick. She told me that could be acid reflux and a lightbulb went off in my head...that's exactly what it is and I never made the connection. Now, about 8 hours later, that's the symptom of the day (I guess, lol) and I have quite bad symptoms after just eating a bit. But because Dr. Koffman is so good, I have a prescription for acid production before I knew I needed it. She checked SO many boxes checked in such a short period of time. The last note that I wanna add quickly is she sent me for blood work which was in the office just down the hall. Really convenient. The nurse that took it came in 30 seconds (no wait!) and administered the most painless blood test I've ever had. So overall the wait was an hour...seriously not bad at ALL compared to what I was expecting. To see a great quality doctor on a Sunday in Ontario. Thanks to this clinic for working so hard, and on a Sunday long weekend too!! I feel validated and hopeful for answers from my blood test. EDIT: Dr. Koffman IS seriously awesome and my blood test results show that I have exactly what she suspected within the first 2 minutes of meeting me. I believe I acquired this in May when I last tried to contact my GP when I was sick and they wouldn't see me. Without Dr. Koffman, I never would've known I had this. Saw her again for a follow up and she was (once again) super kind, professional and thorough. We're going through all the bases and doing more testing. I'm now very happily her patient and have switched over from the other office. This clinic has also been fantastic with communication and calls as soon as results are ready to come in and meet with the doctor. No one wants to be sick, but finding this clinic was meant to be :)

I usually only post reviews of places that have done me wrong in some way. However, I needed to give this place a great review. I had just had one of the worst experiences of my life at another clinic. I have CPTSD and mostly due to medical mistreatment. I needed an abscess drained, however. After going through the abuse of another clinic, my wife managed to source this one. I was not in a good or even ok state when we came in. I had trouble talking. The receptionist, even though I could tell she was incredibly tired from a long day, was soft-spoken with us and understood I wasn't well. We waited in the hall overflow. It did take two hours, but after a snack I started feeling a little better. (With how busy they were, two hours was relatively quick) When we finally got inside, the nurse took my info and blood pressure. They had let my wife accompany me inside, as well. The nurse was cheerful and kind while being straight to the point. The nurse and my wife left the room. I waited a little over five mins for the doctor. I was nervous. When the doctor came in, she seemed a bit curt at first and I was very worried. My anxiety spiked and as I moved forward on the table I told her I was scared. She responded in a tone I took as annoyed, but I definitely misheard as the rest of the interaction was absolutely amazing. She had to incise me twice and she spoke to me the whole way. It was the least painful drainage experience I've had. When it was over, we discussed after care and none of my concerns were dismissed nor was she skeptical about anything I said, and she worked around my needs in regards to giving me advice on what aftercare would suit me. I went back out to my wife and she was surprised at what an amazing state I was in after having been cut open and after the first clinic's treatment. I was in such a good mood. Aftercare has been simple and I'm healing exceptionally well. The care was to the point yet compassionate. Thank you so very much. (I'm sorry, I forgot every one's names, I was still experiencing brain fog and dissociation from the aftermath of earlier)

I’ve been to this clinic many times. It was one of the few clinics seeing patients in person during Covid, which was very much appreciated. The medical attention is always very thorough and helpful. Most recently, I saw Dr. Cyrill last Sunday. She was the 3rd doctor I saw in three consecutive days (the other two were at different clinics) for a bad ear infection, and the first to recognize it as such! The doctor I had seen the day before at a different clinic told me my ear looked totally clear while I was in obvious pain. I was incredibly relieved when Dr. Cyrill, who explained everything very clearly, prescribed medication. I’ve also brought my child to this clinic as well. Very grateful for your weekend hours, as well as your opening throughout the previous restricted periods of Covid.

I just went to this walk in clinic, receptionist, nurse and doctor were so friendly and made me feel taking care off, I waited for an hour yes, but don't forget this is the pick of wave 7, they have parking available and I'm talking of a Saturday afternoon. I will highly recommend this place and I will go back again.

Egregious wait times, no free parking and lack of wait time transparency. Clinic seems overwhelmed and disorganized. Patients are not seen in the order they arrive - personally - currently waiting for over 2 hours meanwhile several people who came after me have already been seen. In short, there are plenty of other substandard walk in clinics to chose from in the neighborhood.

Dr. Koffman is an incredible physician that goes above and beyond for her patients. Her knowledge and experience is definitely evident in how detail oriented she is in her exam and has a holistic approach which is always a plus. Her office staff are also very kind and super helpful.

Dr. Allyson Koffman is an excellent physician, intelligent, skilled and highly knowledgeable. She provided walk-in care to my elderly mother for many years until my mother passed away at 97-years-of-age. Dr. Koffman was always patient, kind, respectful, and attentive to my mother's medical needs - focused on the care provided. I never left the office questioning her medical assessments as she is clear and professional. I still travel here for walk-in care as I have found the medical care provided by Dr. Koffman to be the best of any walk-in clinic I have visited in Toronto. I recommend Dr. Koffman to family and friends without hesitancy as she consistently provides top level care. During the pandemic I had a need to visit the clinic only to find Dr. Koffman bravely attending to patients and working very hard to provide care for the ill, while many other clinics were limiting access to care. This further confirmed my assessment of Dr. Koffman as a dedicated and caring health professional.

This place has very good customer service and medical care. Yes, the wait time is long but in my opinion its so worth it. Dr. Kauffman is a very knowledgable, courteous, competent, and caring doctor with excellent bedside manners. She legit knows what she is doing and has so much expertise. If you have a chance go to Earl Bales Walk in. Try it! You might like the service. Thank you so much.

They charge cash for referrals.More of a business centric behavior . Nature of my job causes me back pain and it's well known that massage help in back relief but they won't refer massage unless you pay them in cash.

Really bad experience. Who is working for you at reception? After 6 pm 30/08 no one is working? Do u pay them less then minimum? They answered call 31/08 morning after 4 attempts; better no. Manage your businesses, check your rep: they behave intolerant

Bye far the worst walk in clinic in North York. The clinic was poorly managed and has really bad hospitality towards customers, more specifically the receptionist. I had tried to call the clinic for three days and no one was picking up the calls and you can’t leave a voicemail because the voice messaging system was full. I was going to inquire about a TB testing and the fees before I come in the clinic to avoid wasting my time. On the fourth day I came on the time it opened and I had to wait one hour just for the receptionist to check my OHIP card, the receptionist was very rude and did not display any signs of acknowledgement. After waiting one hour she said that I had to pay $150 to get papers signed while other walk-in clinics in the area was only charging $45-$50. If only knew how to pick up their calls I wouldn’t have came in the first place And dealt with very bad customer service. My overall visit was horrible and I would never come back to this clinic. If there was an option to give you zero stars I would give zero. The receptionist was incredibly rude and should be replaced by someone who wants to work in the medical field.

Horrible experience.. Save yourself, go to the clinic behind metro, better service. Little more waiting time but worth it. at the Earl Bales Urgent Care... 👎👎👎 Waited longer for the doctor to let us in the room and for the actual doctor to come in the room. The Assist Dr. Will ask you sorts of basic questions and wont even let you explain anything assuming they know everything and when the actual Dr. came, he did not even read the notes the asst Dr. put in, and when I tried explaining whats going on, they literally told me to get prescription for my child because they make more money from the Ohip benefits rather than actually sending my child to a specialist. Or even spending a bit more time to actually check whats going. Top of that, while im calmly advising the doctor whats going on, he did not want to listen and would reply in a aggressive manner to establish his position. Think before you let these doctors put random medicine in you without actually evaluating the situation, wasnt even that busy to properly navigate the situation, buddy just wanted to go for lunch. Waiting time to get inside the room: 30mins Dr. actually checking you : 3mins or less Very aggressive Doctors on site, in it for the money not for your actual health, as per our experience. Save your self the parking ticket, parking on site is NOT FREE and LIMITED Oh and have cash ready cause thats what they eat... Not the parking machine 😅🙏🏽

Very terrible experience at this clinic. The staff was rude and unhelpful, my daughter is in Ontario for study purposes (not an International Student) and she is Canadian born with covered medical in BC but the receptionist asked for a fee to see a doctor. Moreover, the clinic accepts only cash when my daughter offered to pay with a bank card or E-transfer fee. It was hard for her to come up with cash. I was thinking that we are covered everywhere if we are covered in one province of Canada or they should have the option to accept all types of payment. I'm expecting genuine clarification from the clinic owner.

Unless you want to die don’t go here Absolutely disgusting. I was at the clinic on Wednesday July 12 with a fever/ cough and sore throat. Indian lady doctor checked me out and said looks viral. Did a strep test said would call back in 48 hours / checked chest but said everything looks clear. I kept feeling sicker and sicker as the day went on. By Thursday morning I was so sick that I ended up in emergency. Not only did they say my throat was covered in spots and probably for days , that my chest was extremely bad too. I tested positive for strep and pneumonia. Still waiting on this clinic to call me with my lab results. I would be dead by now. Absolutely disgusting! Stay far far away from this clinic and even farther from this incompetent doctor.
