Went for dinner with a group of friend. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Food is amazing. The club has amazing facility. decor is a little bit old fashioned but classic. Tips: fry donut is one of the best ;)

Today I saw a staff-member provide a tour to a couple of potential members. I overheard some of the things she said and I thought to myself, if only they knew how greatly they were being lied to by her! I have been a member since 1990. I remember things like the Sky-Light Lounge and swimming lessons where the instructor actually knew your name. This has changed entirely and I would not recommend an application for membership to anyone I know. The quality of the food is on the level of that which would be fed to a prisoner, delivered to you incompetently by staff who, over the past two years, have dropped water and salad dressing on my lap. The programs the club now offers treat you as a number (forgive the pun), and class instructors have told me in conversation that section managers could 'care less about the quality of the programs members go to so long as people are paying.' It is nice to know that the staff they have hired have so much faith in the programs and their managers. The Granite Club is absolutely pathetic now and I will never, until I die, recommend that someone join this club. I await patiently a response to this review. Edit: I have been in the Heritage Lounge today and several teenage members have worn baseball caps while inside. The first floor was always very formal but I suppose those kinds of rules no longer exist.

This is a very high-end sports facility, the oldest and reputable one. The membership is very expensive but of course the athlete trained here are excellent and very competent too. The Place is huge ang beautiful located in the woody part of Bayview and Lawrence Avenue. The view is wonderful specially during autumn season. They have restaurant inside for the members to enjoy. They have indoor skating tennis and other sports.

I was invited for a lunch meeting at the bar and bistro on the 1st floor. The parking attendant was very friendly and I was a guest of a club member. Parked on B1 and apparently there are 6 levels of parking. The bathroom facilities were very clean, freshly stocked and had a vanity area for anyone looking to freshen up. There were clean hand towels and a pleasant washroom attendant. Our lunch was delicious and I ordered the soup and tofu poke bowl.

I was invited for lunch here by a member. The building is very nice and has a 5 star hotel feel to it. We had lunch outdoors in the cabana (the main restaurant is currently being renovated). We got the Cobb salad and it was delicious and fairly priced. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a walk around the facilities and it’s primarily a sports club with tennis courts, large indoor pool, skating rink, gym and lots of workout class spaces. There is a waitlist to become a member and membership fees are quite high.

It was an absolute pleasure working on this project and doing our part in Constructing History. We wanted to share some ‘before’ photos and give a brief summary. As Toronto and the GTA continues to grow, so do some of its most premier clubs. The Granite Club is a good representation of that, as MGI Construction was hired by Graham Group Ltd., to assist in the extension of the existing club building. We were responsible for the interior demolition and abatement of the connecting parts of the existing building in addition to the excavation for the foundation that the extension rests upon. heavy civil services were also completed by MGI to develop the infrastructure that is necessary for all buildings.

I've been several times as a guest and the staff are so so nice. Doesn't feel "snooty", just very welcoming. I would love to be a member! It's gorgeous inside and the art is fantastic.

First time experience was a positive one overall. The 2 main issues are the location . It's a little hard to find and the parking garage is hard to maneuver. The facility and staff are excellent. We had a all day company meeting. The food is excellent . Had a great day at the Granite Club

Good food. Great service. Lots of free parking if you're into an athletic club. This is the one lots of tennis, ice skating, squash and a pretty cool gym located in the mid middle of the city. Pretty easy to access. Most of the restaurants are under construction every two or three years which is a minor inconvenience, but it is what it is

I had the best experience doing my bronze cross with Thomas from Aquatics! He was so friendly and a great teacher, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to teach us!

I was invited back in 2017, as a guest of Gilbert Sharpe who is a member of Granite Club. The staff were warm and welcoming which helped with cultural humility, as I would’ve loved to be a member. Granite Club is a private social and athletic club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Noteworthy: Gilbert mentioned important heritage about the first Black member of the Granite Club. Most people perceive themselves to be fair, unbiased and inclusive - but others sometimes have diverse experiences.

My Mom skated at the Granite club 90 years ago I used to go 50 years ago. Love the change’s not only is the décor first class but so is the food and the staff. It’s truly Toronto’s premiere family club. If you have the opportunity, it’s not to be messed. Looking forward to coming back to the club when the renovations are finished in the meantime, if you want to see a deck done, right check the one at the granite Club.

Granite Club is prestigious. Very good facilities & restaurant serves good food. It would be better if someone is to check if everyone at the courts are observing the rules.
