    Some staff members were helpful; however, the cashiers were rude ( especially the blonde curly hair girl which l think her name is Chloe). She was laughing at how a coupon could not be applied to the purchase ( which is incredibly rude). She may need some lessons on customer service. If the coupon from the survey cannot be applied to sale items, that should be clearly stated on the coupon itself. Update: Apparently the coupon is valid at other stores except this one …. they may need to review their policies as others were more than happy to apply it

    2023 August 3★ Another sport chek and in a fantastic location that's convenient. This location is fairly big with lots of options. Service shop and in store pickup available.

    Had to return two bottle holders for my 2 bikes that we purchased ahead of time because the two bikes were being tuned up before picking them up (standard sport check procedure) . We bought them before getting the bikes assuming they had mounting holes. Once we got the bikes we discovered they didn’t have mounting holes so we can’t mount the two diamondback water bottle holders to our bike. The store manager Glenn didn’t believe us that our bikes didn’t have mount holes. I explained they did not, trust me. He didn’t believe me. The items were in returnable condition so not sure what his problem is. They even sold the bikes we bought in his store but I didn’t bother try to explain further . Glenn came off as very dismissive, not trusting of the customer. The sales associates are great, it’s just the store manager. I’ve had amazing experiences at the Richmond Hill Sportchek but this store manager is difficult. Glenn needs to be educated on the products he carries in his store rather than being tone deaf to the customers explanation. Attached are two images of my bike models showing NO mounting holes for the diamondback bottle holder.

    Never gonna buy anything from Sportchek , I bought a tennis racket from there (Fairview branch), I removed the plastic package over the grip , and did some shots to try it and found out Its heavy for me, and I came back to return the racket and buy another. They told me that you should not remove the plastic package over the grip!!!! They told me, we can't accept to return it. (Sticker attached on string) . Customer service is ZERO, unfortunately. Respect the customer must be in priority. Thats why costco getting busier everyday. (Respect the customer)

    Store policy says they price match, but they actually don't unless it's "not by much". Change the policy if it's selective. Store manager talks down to you when they simply don't want to match. 👎🏼

    Went on Saturday to purchase some sports wear. I wanted a racer back tank top and the staff said that they had stock even though I asked them to locate them for me while I was in the fitting room. When I came out they weren't there to assist and when I went to ask where the tank tops were they directed me to the wrong ones and indeed they didn't have the ones I wanted in store. They reassured me wrongly. I could have had a much smoother customer experience. An online order was placed for me for the tank tops without asking me, as I was staring and their screen and had to ask them what they were doing. The the online order needs to be synced with their in-store tablets. I ended up having to input my information five times, and changeover to five different staff members. The store manager wasn't helpful and didn't even look at me to address me and perform any customer service reassurance. When I told them if there is anything they could do for me because my customer experience was bad they said only if it's an electronic issue on their side and listed all the reasons why they won't want to do anything about it (bc it's my fault). My limited credit card input apparently wasn't registering on their system as a valid card (declined) even though I use it everyday and had just made a purchase in an adjacent store. I had to be late for my dinner with my friend having already finished her dinner at the food court and also had to cancel my plans for the gym afterwards. I shouldn't have bought the items and regret the quality of my customer experience. Even though the employee apologized profusely, the manager was right beside me when I declared I wasn't going to buy it and he did nothing. In the end I tried twice more and it worked with a different credit card but is that really my fault? The manager is lackadaisical and did ask the other staff for their help when called upon. I understand he doesn't have the expertise and people pitched in to help but it's still bad customer service! I regret being so patient and want something to be done to retain customer loyalty.     As a former Sportchek employee, this has to be one of the worst locations. It is very clear they are operating without an SGM as told by one of their employees. Hard goods manager Nigel assured me he could do me a favour and have my board waxed by 3PM once I bring it in right at open same day, as I was going riding at 5PM. Call back at 3:15PM (as I have yet to receive a pick up email) and he said “it is not ready, and will not be ready for a few hours” and that “he never said it’d be done, just that he’d try”.. Thankfully, Drew, one of the service techs were able to make it happen. On top of such, he gave me a hand wax instead of machine and was very attentive to detail. Thank you Drew!

    Did a $50 minor bike tune up and it says wipe down and clean is included. I got the bike back and its still dirty.. I wouldnt doubt if they only fixed one part and didnt do anything else on the list… so expensive on such a small fix.. going to canadian tire next time.

    Bad place to shop or work at.... The two main managers are just two grown man that act like teenagers behind close doors. Talking bad about their own employees, calling them names and such. Also both managers tend to have favoritism towars women. They tend to hire women and flirt with them. What goes behind doors in this store is krazy. Dont work here if you are a mature adult. No wonder there is only highschool kids. They need better management at this location.

    I went this store for shopping, a young cashier lady tried to push us to apply the Canadian Tire Triangle credit card, and kept mentioning the card can get 4% credit back from shopping everywhere. Myself and my husband confirmed with her several times if the 4% credit can be earned "everywhere", even regular grocery stores, she was very certain, kept emphasizing "Everywhere" . After using this card for two months and built lots purchase amount, we found out this card only gives 0.5% credit back!!! It is so horrible to lie to the customers. When I called this store to report this issue to the manager, he refused to let me know his name, doesn't seem to take this issue seriously. So, be very careful when people in this store try to push you apply the Canadian tire credit card, don't just trust what they say. When they apply the card for you in the store, they give you nothing in written about this card.

    Sports Check Fairview Mall do not refund back my money for an item I did not pick up. They told me that if an online order is not picked up in 7 days, it will be automatically canceled and money refunded. It's been almost one month and still no money. One week ago when I called they said I should have my money refunded in about 3 days, and by Friday if I didn't have the money to call customer service. So I called customer service because there was no refund, and customer service says they need to investigate and will take more time.This is a JOKE,unacceptable poor customer service. Never will trust Sports Check again, will be cautious moving forward.

    If I could give less I would. No experience no customer relations at all. Zero communication between stores I was left on hold for 30 mins then hung up on, on my drive here to find out there pro shop doesn't service skii or snowboards. This store is run by children.

    Standard Sport Chek. Good shopping experience. However when requesting a price match, the clerk in this store asked me to show a photo proof from a competing physical store, even though the online pricing of the competitor is identical to their in store and clearly shows it in stock in Toronto. Not sure if this is an actually Sport Chek policy because I think they have to somehow handle price match online too. The clerk appeared hesitant too with no manager on the side. Anyways this wasted me time driving to another mall to get a photo. I went to another Sport Chek later and they didn't complain anything at all and were able to price match in a minute. I guess I shouldn't complain since I got a good deal. But if you're planning to price match this might be something to watch out for.

    I bought a UA Under Armour sports shoes , its rear part inside damaged for unknow reason not long after 60 days, it seems was damaged automatically. support part inside heel side of the shoe was broken for unknow reason . , it hurts foot heal seriously. since after 60 days , the store refused to do anything . hope all customer be cautious, I think this is product defect . MY self will not buy anything from this store any more .

    This store a has a good selection of products. However the staff could have better knowledge of these products and provide better service. I asked for help from a staff member for skates. He asked for my shoe size and gave me a pair to try on but he didn't bother checking back or to answer of my questions of how it should fit. This later led to a oversized skate purchase.

    Busy store with a good selection of products. It was difficult to get someone to help with shoe sizes. The store is understaffed and the staff need to get proper training in dealing with the public. A large company like this should have training programs in place for employees. There must be very high employee turnover here. Management needs to get it together. Poor experience. Not recommended!!!

    Went to buy a pair of shoes. 4 pm on a Sunday. Quite some people around. All awaiting for the sales person. I went to the back and requested for help. But the people were not so interested. I went to the cashiers and requested for assistance. They called the persons on their radio. Then we had three salespersons at the scene. I mostly find the salespersons always busy with other work. Most of the shoes did not have size 7 or 8 or 9. Either too small or too big. I ended up buying shoes with twice the price as there was not the shoes of my choice and size. But they give back in Canadian Tire money. As advertised it was supposed to be 25X the points. But got only 20X. Overall it’s a good experience. It’s the same with the stock with other items in other stores.

    I ordered online from Fairview with Door Dash delivery. Not only did the product not arrive, but I spent close to 2 hours with customer service trying to track it down. To make matters worse, employees at the store didn't answer the phone (I tried 4 times over 2 days). I will no longer be dealing with this location. The store in Leaside had a separate order ready on time with no hassle.

    John at shoes honestly need to get the best customer service award or something. The patience he had when helping my parents and I was truly appreciated. He took his time and helped pick all the shoes we needed, and didn’t make us feel like it was an hassle for him as we were trying on so many shoes and asking him a lot of questions. Best experience ever for purchasing footwear. Thanks John!
