    I recently visited City Buick hoping to purchase my second truck, five years after buying my first one from them. Unfortunately, my experience this time around was far from satisfactory. I had initially chosen City Buick because I thought they would want my business once again. However, this time, I decided to work with a junior sales rep to avoid any potential biases or repetition. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, it became clear that the junior sales rep lacked the necessary experience to handle negotiations effectively. Our interaction quickly turned unpleasant due to her inexperience and inability to provide me with the information I needed. When it came time to discuss pricing and obtain a quote, I expected a cooperative attitude. However, I was met with resistance and an unprofessional attitude from both the junior sales rep and the manager. The back and forth with the manager was frustrating, and to my disbelief, the junior sales rep refused to provide me with a quote altogether. She claimed that she didn't want to engage in a "game" where I would take their quote and shop around for a better deal. As a customer, I believe it is my right to explore my options, gather quotes, and make an informed decision. It felt like the dealership was trying to pressure me into making a decision without providing the necessary information. The lack of transparency and the pressure to make a decision without a quote was unacceptable. I left City Buick feeling disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. In hindsight, I regret not trusting my gut instinct to avoid City Buick altogether, especially when I had received excellent treatment from Old Mill Cadillac through all my servicing my existing truck. It seems clear where I should be doing business. Only wish to have few options. Based on my recent encounter, I cannot recommend City Buick. Their unprofessional conduct, lack of transparency, and pressure tactics have left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning to City Buick and will instead choose to support a dealership like Old Mill Cadillac that values its customers and provides a better overall experience.

    Great Service department. We went to get a key fob programmed for an older Chev vehicle. Angelo was very helpful and gave great attention to detail. When we drove in, someone opened the hood and filled the washer fluid up ❤️ (nice touch!) The woman at the parts counter was also very helpful and kind. They have nice clean washrooms, waiting area and even a small cafeteria type counter and free coffee. Stellar service!

    Today was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in the 13 years I have been a loyal customer. My father, son and I have purchased vehicles from City Buick, Lawrence and Victoria Park branch. Since I purchased my 2010 Chev Cobalt your records will reflect since 2010 I have never taken my car to any other service station. It has always been at City Buick. The car battery died Monday, May 22. The earliest appointment I could get when I called on that same day was a week later on May 29. I was able to get a boost to start the car in order to drive to dealership. The battery was 13 years old and had never been changed so I decided to get a new one and I expressed it to the attendant when I arrived. The car was checked in at 10:37 a.m. I never left until 2:30pm for a simple change of a battery. People were coming and going and I was left sitting there. Laura my attendant came to me once after 2 hours for a follow-up. She even mentioned that the technician would come to speak with me. He never came. At 1:00 p.m. Laura left for her lunch. At this point I thought I had waited long enough. I decided to speak to someone, but didn’t get his name. He said, are you waiting for the 2010 Cobalt. I responded yes, he said I will do the paper work as your car is good to go. In doing so, he handed me the invoice without any explanation of the charges, as was customary. He handed me the invoice for $520 which I struck me as a little extreme for a battery replacement. In addition, no apology was given for the long wait. A sticker was attached to my invoice for a free carwash as the in-house car wash was out of service. I assume this was an attempt as a token to appease me. I will never take my car to City Buick again and never buy another. I will also let my friends and family know the kind of customer service that is given once a car is bought and leaves the lot from this location. Given this entire experience on this day, the level of customer service leaves much to be desired. I felt I was completely ignored, as if a battery replacement isn’t a priority service worth paying any mind to. If my car was a 2023 Cadillac SUV, I am certain the treatment would have been a different experience.

    Kudos to all the staff that service us clients in this branch. The service staff from booking appointments to the service staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. Now the sales staff, I dealt with Hany, who me I suggest to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle. He never gave up, he was following up at my own convenience and sharing quotas and sending me emails with the needed information upon my request. His knowledge and skills to bring all my queries to light and answer all my questions was nothing I experienced in various other dealerships of other car brands too. All the staff are assets to the company and kudos to you all.

    Exceptional service and team here! My situation was a bit odd, but the team understood immediately and advised me really well- I felt they were very reasonable with pricing and were honest. They were the quickest and easiest to work with in all the places I called. Special thanks to Angelo and Bob for their kindness and communication. I highly recommend this place!!

    Came in for a tire swap for the regular $60+tax. My service advisor says one of my sensors is not working. I ask how much it is and he says around $80. I agree. When the bill comes, I'm paying an extra $180 on top of the $60. When I ask why, apparently they needed to replace the valve as well and that there were two sensors that were not working, and they only repaited the one. I had agreed to only the tire change and sensor, however I'm left paying for more I didn't ask for. It's dishonest to tell your customer a price and then come back with a significantly higher price when it's time to pay. Had I known, I wouldn't said no and just had the tire change

    My 1st experience at the service counter and service bays at city Buick was decent. Ultimately it took quite a while to get my oil change done while I waited, but I made my point clear that I was in no rush when I got there. Everybody was as friendly as they should be, And there was a place for me to sit while I waited

    A huge thank you to Jason (Service Manager) , and Laura from the service department!! I cannot express my gratitude for both of them being so patient with me and helping me with my vehicle. As a woman who knows very little about cars and having many issues with my vehicle- they took the time to explain everything in detail and made me feel so comfortable. There's always a huge stigma within dealerships, but I can say I fully trusted the experience and felt at ease. Thank you to such an amazing team!     Had an appointment to have my winter tires changed. After waiting 2.5 hrs I was notified “there is a huge problem” my tires, weren’t there and I should return in two days. When I came back, the service technician had no clue, who I was, what I was there for etc. (a busy place, not uncommon). But he also told me my rear brakes (recently replaced) we’re shot and wipers were also completely gone ( also brand new). I have lost all faith and trust in this dealer and will never return. Be careful…

    My service engine light was on so I went to have it checked out. I was a new customer as I had just moved to Toronto. Angelo setup my profile, I received a shuttle home and was informed about the required repair. I received a shuttle back, picked up my car. Overall, a friendly team with good service and good communication. One of the best auto service experiences that I've had. Thanks.

    My last visit they took 5 and a half hours to do a tire swap and forgot to do my oil change. I had an appointment for 11 AM and they finished at 4:30pm. When I inquired why have appointments if you don't honour them they said it's just a que not really an appointment. They continuously over book and on multiple occasions they have taken over 4 hours to do a simple tire swap. There excuse is always the same that it's busy. But they do nothing to correct it. I've bought many GM cars in my day and this definitely makes me think twice about buying another one again. I spend hundreds of dollars a year to service my car at this dealership. I will be going somewhere else in the future. If you can't handle the volume of cars stop overbooking.

    Serviced my truck here about a year ago. Resolved some of the issues but never solved what I originally came in for. Android auto still doesn't work despite tonnes of updates I had to pay for. Since then I've been getting mail, emails and texts every few days.. LEAVE ME ALONE

    I needed a lot of repairs. They were done in a very timely manner. Everything that needed to be repaired was explained in detail. All the staff members were very polite and knowledgeable. Shuttle service to my home and back to the dealership was great and I appreciated that service. Dealership is very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed a free hot chocolate from their beverage machine. My returned car was beautifully washed and sparkling. I would recommend this dealership.

    I sent my car in to get my extra key fob programmed and was so satisfied with the process. The parts manager, Robert Clark, was so helpful and kind with the initial process of buying the key fob before it went into the service department. When I brought my car in for service, all the mechanics and workers were very kind and helpful. The process was easy and seamless. I will definitely be doing all my oil changes and maintenance there for years to come.

    I was told that the sway bar was under warranty but was not told that the struts and sway bar had to be done together. They could have been given the option. I decided to get the one done under warranty. I left my vehicle there for 2 days only to get the purge valve done. Why was I not given the option? Now to have to again go there and leave my car yet for one or two more days. Just shaking my head. There needs to be better communication, I am a reasonable person. I probably would have OKed the repair.

Emailed Diana and told her need appointment for 1pm and a vehicle health check as the engine light is on she emailed back confirmed the appointment for 1 pm-no I bring the car into the service and no one know what’s going on like such a waste of time!     The service technician and receptionist went out of their way to make accommodation for my needs not to mention they knew my name! They expedited my rides to and from the dealership. The turnaround time was very reasonable. My shuttle driver was personable and friendly. Great experience!

    Bought my vehicle here years ago, but they're no longer my local dealer. Was recently back for a wheel sensor problem. Friendly staff as usual, squeezed me in on a moment's notice. Got me up and running in a few hours. Provided rides for me from and to the dealership. Can't ask for anything more.

    Be careful before you order any parts because they do not tell you when you place the order is if you return the part will be 20% restocking fees. I do understand and respect the policy but I believe they tell the customer when they place an order about the policy not after returning parts. I believe this is scamming people to charge 20% to return un used parts

    As a loyal customer for more than 5 years, the service lately had been worse and worse, after the service today, I think I am never going back again. I have always liked their service there in the past, and believed they are expert at Chevy cars, although their price is higher than market, I didn’t mind. But recent experience really disappointed me. Asked for oil change, they forgot to reset oil meter and had to come back to reset; Even right after the air filter is changed, they are telling me to change air filter. This just shows how they didn’t really check before suggesting; did the work that I didn’t asked them to, and charged me for that. Which I am okay with, I think all the work should be paid for, just good to know ahead of time. And almost every time I go in for a tire change/oil change, I was told that something should be repaired and would cost $1000+, and my car is not even an old car. all these little things adds up, and makes me feel that they don’t really care about their customer, it’s all about $. I can’t deny all the help I got from Chevy and their nice shuttle system, and front desk staff is always friendly, so 2 stars are for that.

    Regular dealer and garage. Was much better before pandemic. Service has been a little hit or miss lately. Example. Put on winter tires. Had to reschedule because they mistakenly booked us when mechanic not in. Winter tires put on. However the tire pressure system wasn't reset resulting in tire warning light coming on and requiring second trip to have this corrected.

    We used City Buick for the first time last week to do some body work on my Tahoe and we were so impressed with their work and professionalism. We will be definitely be using this Body shop again! Great experience! We also would like to mention that we had a great experience with the Dealership as well! They honor their quotes and guarteed customer satisfaction in handling the Safety Recall issued to my truck. They honoured the quote for a new key and delivered on time!

    I went online to find a dealership that was close to my home instead of the one I had been using in a different city (I used to work near there) I used the contact us form and within a minute of me hitting submit a gentleman named Jason called me. I asked if I could bring my car in today and he said no problem, bring it on in. I was shocked that they could take me so quickly. Angelo in bay1 greeted me so nicely, I explained my issue with my car. He told me it might not be a quick fix and we discussed some options. Then he asked one of the mechanics what he thought and they decided to do a diagnostic on the car. I was happy that they were going to look at it. In the mean time, as this was my first time at this dealership, Angelo have me the grand tour of the entire place he introduced me to Steve in parts and even the general manager. He told me where the ladies room was and then showed me their little cafe. Free coffee was a nice touch. I decided to order lunch while I waited but didn’t even get half way finished and he was back to give me the news. He said I have 2 good things and 1 bad. I said bad first. It was only the price. Good news not a major leaking problem no water and it was all fixed and working. Angelo made this such a fantastic experience that I will now come to this location for all my car needs.

    From my first phone call to Josh Lewis, the entire experience at the dealership was excellent. Brought my xt4 in June 20th/2022 they put me in a rental, and Josh updated me in the afternoon as to what his technicians thought could be wrong with my sunroof. 24 hours later motor was replaced, returned the car rental and got my car back. Josh is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. Was a real pleasure being at your dealership! Thank-you Josh🤩

    Exceptional customer service - best I've experienced at any car dealership, ever - great staff all around! Complementary shuttle service to/from home. Both problems I came in with were fixed at a very reasonable fee so it seems like the technical/mechanical staff is also very competent. Great experience all around - highly recommend this dealership - whoever is running it knows what they're doing!

    It took me a phone call to have my best Car shopping experience. I spoke to Bert and he was kind enough to spend time with me over the phone and help me pick a vehicle, then I was transferred to Kezro, amazing gentleman at their Financial Office to apply for my financing. Every single email or phone called was responded promptly and every single question was answered respectfully and with honesty. They make Car Shopping a Fun and super Easy experience and I did everything right over the phone and without even walking to their dealership. Strongly recommended, would have given them 10 stars if I could.

    Called on 3 different days trying to get information about getting winter tires for my vehicle under a fleet management company. Spoke with at least 2 people per call, got bounced back and forth between Service, Parts, and the reception, was promised a call back on all of them and never got the information I needed or attention to my call. No problem. I got my issue taken care of in less than 10 minutes of conversation with another dealership. As I told you on the call, you were just the most convenient location, but service is still the most important thing for me.

    The service staff at City GMC are extremely helpful and very positive and care about the customer and their vehicles. I have found other departments such as the parts department to be very helpful as well. When time is so valuable these days, they make the service appointment well suited to people on tight deadlines. The reminders and post service follow ups are really a nice touch too. Great job!

    Today I got a great service by Louis. After long time and booking with other branches that they never care about customer such as Richmond hill branch, here they care, they send reminder, they call you for follow up. I usually ask a lot of questions and Louis patently answered all of them, he behaved really as a pro. Just one suggestion, I booked to replace my AC belt and I was hoping they will check their inventory considering my appointment and demand, however, it was a surprise they did not have AC belt in their inventory. New update: in less than 48 hr they supplied AC belt. Louis sent me an msg early morning reminding they got it , then booked an appointment for the same day. I got very fast service, also special thanks to Louis, after replacing AC belt, they washed my car in a perfect way. This really impressed me. During the time I was hanging around in dealer ship, they really care about customer and right away one of crew comes and ask you if you have any questions or demand in a polite way that they don't wanna pressure you to buy. I had a nice conversation with Bert too. He was assisting me for future second car.

    Excellent service on my 2019 Corvette. I am picky and left very specific requests regarding the service I wanted done ie, type of brake fluid, make sure they used the ESP oil (not all places do) and specific alignment specs I wanted including the use of the rear caster tool. All done on time for a decent price. Service GM ( Jay)and service advisor (Saheen) very good to work with. I rarely use a dealer but thought I would try them out and glad I did

    Were able to handle my concerns without me being there in person. My car was leaking oil and towed to the shop for repair, booking my appointment over the phone and repair was done on the day of the appointment. Elena was very helpful and constantly provided updates and breakdown of diagnosis, jobs and their prices. All I had to do was go and pick up the vehicle with everything done for me, very good.

    Brought my new vehicle for electronic issue, but unfortunately it wasn't resolved. My car was in this location from 8:00am till 4:30pm. Beside the disappointment that the problem remains, I have to admit the pleasant welcome from the staff. I got very fast Uber drive from the dealership to my place and back.

    I've had to have my 2018 ChevyVolt serviced for warranty repairs at this dealership twice over the last 2 years. Once the electric control module died and the second time there was an issue with the transmission control module. Both times the repairs were done under the Voltec warranty. Overall I am satisfied with the repair work done by the dealership but the communication with the service team is always an issue. Some of the service agents never call back for days (or never) while others are more responsive. The last time I dealt with a service advisor named Petro. He was clear in his communication and quite responsive on the status of my vehicle!

    Not a welcoming environment. The sales rep was mean. I went in to see the cars I had in mind, just shopping around. The attitude given by the sales rep was not nice..very much judging a book by its cover. The vibe I was getting was that he did not want to help if we weren’t getting a car that day. It was not busy no other customers so if he wants to go back to your desk to look at the walls go be it. “Cadillac specialist” take some customer service lessons please

    Be prepared to pay for $1500 or more of mandatory aftermarket options when purchasing a new car here. For some reason they will charge you (and not at dealer cost) for aftermarket tint, hood chip protection and a mandatory warranty on the rims ($500 to $600 each). This was not pointed out to me at time of purchase. These things should be optional. But, I guess they can get a away with it in this "take it or leave it" kind of car market. That's pretty shady. The sales manager was supposed to call me back about this but never did and I'm not surprised. If you are planning to purchase a new car and have time to look around I would check out other dealers and their charges, if any. On the plus side, Jim was a good salesman and helped us find the car we wanted. Not allot of other salespeople did at other dealers that we had been too. Due to the mandatory aftermarket costs though, I won't be buying another GM car here. Update. Since posting this review I have talked the General and we have worked things out.     My experience with the Service dept. at City GM, specifically Josh Lewis and Jason Blake, was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued customer. Josh went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Not only was his knowledge and expertise exceptional, but his genuine care for my vehicle was truly impressive.     Receive a text with quotes for work needing to be done which is good. However, they don’t stop at one text, I received multiple texts through a 24 hour period. So don’t assume that your 1st text details all the work. They will continue to send more every few house after you approve some work to be done. There’s no reason all quotes couldn’t be sent at the same time giving the customer a full analysis. I felt they strategically send them. Also didn’t clear my “maintenance required” light after I denied a $4k quote for a new catalytic converter based off a the maintenance light trouble code. I brought to another service centre and they told me the diagnosis free of charge, cleared it and advised to wait and see if it comes on again. It’s possible I saved myself a $4K needless repair.

    This was second service appointment to replace a faulty tire pressure sensor. In addition, wanted to follow up on recall for backup assist module which had been flagged by OnStar. Part for recall repair was not available so will have to return for yet another service visit. Also annoyed that repair technicians adjusted all settings of driver seat without consideration to resetting. Lastly did not reset the oil life gauge after completing oil change. Overall customer service requires more attention to detail. Not impressed!
