    Not very welcoming. Went in to pick up a ring and customer service representative was very cold and acted as if she was doing me a favour. I would not go back again if it wasn’t for Jenny. She walked in as I was ready to leave. Jenny is very knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. Thank you Jenny.

    Ana Maria really helped us out. We were out of time getting a ring for our wedding. She made sure we got everything that we wanted and even made sure our order was rushed to get it to us in time for the wedding. Outstanding service by her she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks Ana Maria !!

    I bought a clear case G-Shock from this store and just after a month the bank came off. I went back to the store and asked them to help me. They offered me to send the watch for repair at my cost and they told me it’s "wear and tear" lol what? After a month? I will never shop here again. What a shame!!

    I would give a negative star if this option is available. I’ve been shopping at People’s for more than 20 years, it’s a good company but DO NOT buy at Fairview location. I originally purchased an oval diamond from another people’s location but found a round diamond that I like better at Fairview 2 days later. When I asked for an exchange, the sales lady changed her facial expression immediately. She said they couldn’t process an exchange. So I suggested I could return the ring and buy it again (thinking she was not happy because of commission or something). The answer I got was there something wrong with their system and couldn’t process returns. The best they could do is to put the item on hold and I have to go back to the other store and return the ring (apparently the other store should be able to process returns but not them). The sales lady refused to give me her name when I asked. Fast forward, I went back to the other people’s store, my original sales lady was extremely helpful and apologized for the poor customer service experience I had AT THE FAIRVIEW location. She got the manager involved and had the ring transferred, so I don’t have to travel back and forth. This is truly the worst service possible considering spending thousands of dollars. I will be writing to People’s head office.

    Horrible service. Had to return a ring that the company had shipped to me by mistake and charged my credit card and the refund took 4 weeks. The girl doing the return for me was very rude.

    Do not waste your money here. Always waiting 20 minutes for someone to attend to us. Terrible customer service. Negative 5 stars if I could. Beware of this chain, read all the 1 star reviews. They are all accurate, the store only wants your money and doesn't care about you. You're just a number sign $$

    I purchased an engagement ring from peoples and came in just to get a ring guard so that my fiancé could where the ring until we were able to order one of the proper size. We got a lot of attitude over this simple request. One staff member even rolled her eyes at us and sighed when we asked for help. Not very good customer service.

    When will people in customer service positions realize that it's in their best interest to use common manners, if a customer asks how you are or any common ways of asking how you are, it's probably best to just exchange pleasantries instead of ignoring them and just asking what I need? I dont need to buy from peoples jewelers is what I need

    I am so disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at People's. Having shopped in the store several times before, I did not expect the quality and the service to be this terrible. Recently I went in to purchase a chain and a pair of earrings and after processing the transaction I was told that their systems were not working and my card was not going through. Even though I did see transactions show up on my credit card on my phone app, I was repeatedly reassured that the transactions are not going through and my card was not going to be charged and I was not even given the goods as a result. However, after I come back home after 2 days, I see that my card indeed did get charged and I have since then been contacting the People store and I'm constantly getting a runaround to reach out to their head office or email their head office and nobody's getting back to me. It's been almost 10 days that they have charged my card without giving me the actual goods. This is extremely frustrating and a terrible experience. I did not expect this kind of service from a franchise like people. So disappointed.

    I was looking for a person to ask questions about the engagement ring I purchased from the PEOPLES website, and I found this person Anna Maria in Fairview mall shop. I asked tons of questions and she was very patient and kindly answered all my questions. She even sent some photos via text messages to help my understanding. Love that lady. Thank you.

    Went to PJ on the weekend to pickup an online order I'd made. It was a Saturday, the day after Black Friday, so the mall was...chaos, as was PJ. Upon entry I looked around for about 5-10 seconds to figure where to go for collections and was quickly spotted by an associate that was actually in the process of leaving for the day! She stopped, ascertained who I was and immediately knew what I'd come to collect, and without hesitation took me to the collection area at the back and helped fulfill my order! I was / am still so impressed she took the time to help me, and kept a very professional and friendly manner despite being on her way out to leave! She also took a moment to show me the matching earrings, which I may come back for soon. But overall, I was in and out in a few minutes, entirely stress free, with a very nicely packaged product which I can't wait to give to my other half.

    Jody is awesome!! She should get a raise or get promoted ! She helped me decide a pair of stud earrings and I love them. They sparkle well and gave me a great value. I will recommend everyone to connect with her for all jewelry buying spree !! She is superb!

    Had a wonderful experience shopping for gifts. Nicolle, the sales lady who helped me was super friendly and very informative. She wasn't pushy and very patient to answer all my questions. I had such a good experience with her that I came back a few days later to pick up more gifts for friends.

    Have only been to this location once and was lucky enough to have Nichole greet and assist us. My fiancé and I went in looking for wedding bands and Nichole was just lovely! She was very helpful and super friendly! She went above and beyond to get us the information we needed. 5 stars for her customer service alone! She deserves a raise!

    I had a wonderful experience at this location yesterday with Bahar. She was kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely respectful of my budget. Not once did she try to push me in a direction I didn't want to go, and she made sure each ring I looked at was in my price range and available in the colour I wanted. When I started looking at rings that weren't anything like what I thought I wanted, Bahar was right there guiding me through a new sparkling sea. We found the ring I loved, and Bahar was just as excited as I was, and her immediate concern was to get the ring sized correctly because I have very slender fingers. She explained everything I needed to know about the lifetime warranty I got, and how to maintain it, and was just so kind to me. Bahar made my day so special and made me feel so special. Her kindness, generosity, sweetness, and professionalism set her apart, and I look forward to shopping with her again. Thank you!

    Very helpful! And welcoming. It didn't take long for someone to approach and help me find a gift for my wife. She was very kind on explaining which ring to get. Actually I was there to choose a much more expensive ring but she managed to talk us into something cheaper and come to think of it, nicer. This was the location at Fairview Mall.

    I have bad arthritis in both hands. My wedding band wouldn’t go over my knuckle any more. It had a hinge and clasp on it. I had been told by Birks that nothing could be done to make it bigger. I took the ring to Peoples Jewellers. They were wonderful. The manager (sorry did not get her name) and Anna Marie (associate) we’re lovely to deal with. Sent the ring away to their fantastic jeweller who did a beautiful job!! I can now wear my wedding band again! I would highly recommend this store and it’s staff. I am one very happy customer!     I was interested in buying a necklace on sale for my niece, and the customer service rep with glasses completely ignored my existence. No one else was around on site. Peoples, if you want people to start buying your products, start training your staff to approach curious onlookers. I didn’t stand there for 10 minutes staring at diamonds only to be ignored. Cartier is light years beyond this establishment and yet their sales associates have been trained to greet customers “hello” and ask if they can be of a some assistance. It’s called customer service for a reason.

    I brought in a necklace chain that needed repairs because I wanted a reputable jewler to handle it. However the jewler reversed the clasp, so I had to send it in for repairs again. One and a half weeks after the expected date of completion, I still have not heard anything. So I check the online tracker and it says that it is back at the store ready for pick up. I call the store to confirm but no one answers and there is no ability to leave a voicemail. Terrible customer service. I could have had my necklace back months ago if I had gone somewhere else for my repair

    Helped me pick items but sold me a ladies watch under the knowledge of it being men’s. You may blame me for not carefully examining, but I bought it as a back up present not extremely satisfied with the style. I even questioned the lady saying it looked like a women’s watch. As I come home I research more on it and find it’s a ladies style watch. As service clerks I feel they should be able to accurately identify whether it is women’s or men’s to the customer (it is baseline information literally written on the tag). I won’t give one star because they were friendly staff, but it’s a major thing to give such misinformation. I’m going to have to waste my time to return it. Also, it did seem like they were pushing for me to buy, which I completely understand because that’s what the job entails. However, that bring the question was I purposely misinformed?

    Excellent customer service. My wife earrings needed a slight repair, we thought we'd need to purchase a warranty to have it fixed - nope. The associate there promptly fixed them, gave them a good cleaning and sent us on our ways with no sales pitch whatsoever. Great experience.

    Fantastic customer service. We bought our wedding bands before COVID and were worried we were not able to have them available for our wedding day. The store manager (Poonam) was pro-active in seeking us out and notifying us of an alternative solution to receive our wedding band. I will definitely remember her service when considering where to make my next jewelry purchase.

    Thank you SO much to Jodi & Celeste!! I had an awful experience with an associate at scarborough town centre & ended up walking out. She was incredibly rude the entire time & had zero customer service skills. Instead I drove over to Fairview & saw them. They both were so so sweet the whole time. Super nice and welcoming. Very professional. I can't thank them enough for their help!! They were very knowledgeable & had amazing customer service skills. Will be coming to this location to visit them next time for sure !

    I came here today to have my ring resized. Unlike the staff at the other location I had visited days before, Celeste was not only friendly and professional but also took the time to explain to me why the resizing process takes as long as it takes (I came here hoping I could get it rushed in time for an event). She then took the initiative to help me resolve my problem, and helped me find a temporary solution to keep my ring from falling off my finger until I could make time to come back after the event and have it properly resized. I very much appreciate her professionalism and help.
